The Effects of University's Environments on Overall Service Quality, Service Value, and Student Satisfaction in Undergraduate Higher Education (대학 환경특성이 전반적 서비스품질, 서비스가치와 학생만족에 미치는 영향)

  • 본 연구는 대학 환경특성이 전반적 서비스품질, 서비스가치와 학생만족에 어떠한 영향을 미치는가에 대한 구조적 관계를 설정하고 이를 실증적으로 검증하였다. 저자들은 선행연구와 학생들과의 토의를 통하여 학생만족을 결정짓는 변수들을 24개로 선정하였다. 요인분석 결과, 교수/교육과정, 교육시설, 학내외 활동/위치, 교육지원서비스, 편의시설, 수업료의 6개 요인이 도출되었다. C 대학교의 463명의 학생으로부터 수집된 자료는 Lisrel 8.3을 이용하여 분석되었다. 실증분석 결과, 요약과 시사점은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 교육시설 요인이 전반적 서비스품질에 정(+)의 유의적 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 학내외 활동/위치 요인이 전반적 서비스품질에 정(+)의 유의적 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 교육지원서비스 요인이 전반적 서비스품질에 정(+)의 유의적 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 넷째, 교수/교육과정 요인이 전반적 서비스품질에 정(+)의 유의적 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 다섯째, 전반적 서비스품질이 지각된 서비스가치에 정(+)의 유의적 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다, 여섯째, 전반적 서비스품질이 학생만족에 정(+)의 유의적 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 일곱째, 지각된 서비스가치가 학생만족에 정(+)의 유의적 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 본 연구의 결과는 대학환경특성과 학생만족 간의 관계에 있어서 전반적 서비스품질과 서비스가치가 매개역할을 한다는 것을 의미하는 것이다. 연구의 마지막에서는 관리적 시사점과 미래의 연구방향이 제시되었다.

  • Competition in Internet open-market has become fiercer as much for its growth possibility in differentiating from the general commercial market. For this reason, internet open-market entrepreneurs should make effective strategy in improving customers' e-loyalty to survive in the highly competitive internet open-market as in off-line market and to aim for growth through constant profit making. To satisfy with the goal, this study has been performed as the empirical research that confirms to the influence and relationship of e-service quality affected on the perceived value, customer satisfaction and e-loyalty. This is based on the result that e-service quality affected on e-loyalty for internet open-market. The research results are shown as follows; first, all factors including the perceived value and customer satisfaction, except possibility of system use, have the effect of e-service quality. Second, the perceived value between measurements affects significantly on customer satisfaction. And third, the perceive value and the customer satisfaction are a1so meaningfully influential to e-loyalty. The result presents important point that entrepreneurs in Internet open-market need to do their best to maintain in making profits for the future by improving the customers' e-loyalty and securing customers with high loyalty via continually revealing new influential factors on e-service quality, perceived value, and customer satisfaction.

  • This study analyzed the effects of hospital service quality, emotional attachment, and perceived value on customer satisfaction. In particular, the purpose of this study was to understand the role of emotional attachment and perceived value in the relationship between hospital service quality and customer satisfaction. For this purpose, the results of structural equation model analysis with the data collected by conducting a survey on customers visiting small and medium-sized hospitals were as follows. First, hospital service quality felt by hospital customers had a significant effect on emotional attachment and customer satisfaction, but had no significant effect on perceived value. Second, the emotional attachment felt by customers who visited the hospital had a significant effect on perceived value and customer satisfaction. Third, emotional attachment felt by customers in the relationship between hospital service quality and customer satisfaction had a significant mediating effect. Through the above results, it was confirmed that the service quality felt by customers visiting the hospital leads to attachment to the doctor's competence and medical technology competency, which leads to an increase in customer satisfaction through this attachment. The implications obtained based on these results are as follows. In order for the service quality felt by the customers who visit the hospital to lead to customer satisfaction, above all, it is important to focus on the emotional attachment they can have and find a strategy to improve the service quality. In other words, it is necessary to establish excellent medical staff and medical technology so that hospital customers can have high confidence in the competence of doctors and medical technology, and establish a public relations strategy that can effectively display these competences. Through these efforts, hospital customers will feel a strong attachment to doctors and medical technology, which will increase their satisfaction with the hospital.

The Effect of Technology Difficulty and Safety Perception on Customer Value Perception and Intention to Use Self-Service Technologies (셀프서비스기술 환경에서 기술난이도와 안전성 지각이 고객가치인식과 지속사용의도에 미치는 영향)

  • Computer and Internet information technologies(ICTs) have changed the modern service industry and people's life style. In particular, the global spread of COVID-19 has attracted more attention to contact service types such as self-service technology. With the increase in labor costs and the enhancement of consumer self-awareness, more and more companies transfer part of their work to customers through their own service technology. This study seeks to answer the following questions. (1) Do technology difficulty and safety perception affect customer value recognition in the self-service technologies? (2) Does customer value recognition influence the intention to use such technologies continuously? This study conducted an empirical analysis with 327 samples to validate the influence of self-service characteristics(technology difficulty and safety perception) on customer value recognition and continuous utilization intentions. Also, it analyzes the moderating effects of age and frequency of use on the relationship between self-service characteristics and customer value recognition. The study results show that the technology difficulty does not affect the customer's perceived value recognition; and the higher the customer's value recognition, the higher the intention of continuous use.

Evaluation and Analysis on the Image Decision Factors of Food Service Industry - Focused on Jeonju Local Food Service Industry - (외식업체 서비스 이미지 결정 요인 평가 분석 - 전주 지역 외식업체 중심으로 -)

  • This study is focused on the image benefit cost criterion value and the pure image benefit figure of the local food service industries, V, T, and O based on the theory and factor-analyses of food service industry. To accomplish the aim of this study, theoretical and positive research methods have been applied. The steps of food service image decision projects for the activating of identification on food service have been examined through theories and positive analyses. As the results, 'the image of menu service' appears to be the most effectual factor on the pure image benefit score, which is the priority order of the project planning for the food service image marketing of Jeonju area. As for the image benefit cost criterion value, 'the image of managemental service system', 'the image of approachability', and 'the service of internal surroundings' have been proved to be the most effectual factor in V, T, O respectively. On the other hand, this study shows that V manages its image of food service most effectually with 1.7 billion won, T with 96 million won, O with 7.2 million won for the image marketing strategy.

Factors affecting the Usage Intention of Car-Sharing Service (공유자동차 서비스 이용의도에 영향을 미치는 요인)

  • This study examined the relationships among perceived values(environmental value, functional value), perceived risk, subjective norm, pro-social behavior, product attitude, and usage intention related to car-sharing service. The study also explored the moderating role of possessive desire between the antecedent variables and consumer attitude. 238 survey responses of Chinese consumers were analyzed by structural equation modeling. It is indicated that environmental value, functional value, subjective norm, pro-social behavior had positive effects on attitude, thereby affecting the usage intention of this service. Possessive desire moderated the relationship between environmental value, subjective norm and attitude. These results are expected to provide various marketing strategies for sharing economy services.

Effects of Service Quality and Perceived Value of Regional Festivals on Intention of Word-of-Mouth in the trend of Convergence (융복합트렌드에 따른 지역문화축제의 서비스품질과 지각된 가치가 구전의도에 미치는 영향)

  • The purpose of study was to test the effects of service quality of regional festivals showing the characteristics of convergence service and perceived value of visitors on intention of word-of-mouth, and the moderating role of perceived value between service quality and intention of word-of-mouth. For this empirical study, the data were collected and selected from 320 residents in Wonju province and visitors for Wonju Hanji Cultural Festival from all around from the South Korea by using structured questionnaires. The data were analyzed by hierarchical regression technique. The results showed that both of 7 factors of service quality of regional festivals and 2 factors of perceived value had a positive effect on visitors' intention of word-of-mouth. And also found out the only one out of two perceived value factors, namely 'non-monetary value' had the moderate roles between service reliability out of 7 service quality factors and intention of word-of-mouth. The results of study was summarized and theoretical implications of the findings with practical applications were discussed. After then, the directions for further study were presented based on the limitation of this one.

  • This study investigates the relationship between the digital music service acceptance factors on the Perceived value, and Customer Satisfaction. Remarkable points of this study are as follows. First, according to the result of the analysis of relationship between digital music service acceptance factors and perceived value, diversity of digital music products and quality of digital music system affects significantly on the perceived value. but, usability of digital music service use does not have an effect on the perceived value. Second, as the result of analysis of the relationship between digital music service acceptance factors and customer satisfaction, diversity of digital music products, usability of digital music service and quality of digital music system affects significantly on the perceived value. These finding should assist digital music marketers and academics in their understanding of building loyalty on digital music service.

The Effects of Experience and Environment Factors in Offline Stores on the Perceived Value and Revisit Intention (오프라인 매장의 체험특성과 환경특성이 지각된 가치 및 재방문의도에 미치는 영향)

  • This research examined how the experience factors and environmental factors of experience store impact the perceived value of the brand and whether the perceived value enhance revisit intention. We collected 258 survey responses and formed structural equation modeling. The results indicated that education experience and esthetics experience had positive impacts on emotional value, while entertainment experience had a positive impact on functional value. Among environment factors, lighting, employee service and layout of the store had positive impacts on functional value, while lighting and employee service had positive impacts on emotional value. Both of the functional value and emotional value enhanced the revisit intention of customers. The results of this study are expected to provide useful information about consumers to the companies managing offline experience stores.

The Effects of Marketing Mix Strategies on Perceived Value and Loyalty in Korean Restaurants (한식 레스토랑의 마케팅 믹스 전략이 지각된 가치와 충성도에 미치는 영향)

  • To adapt to the constant change in the foodservice industry, dietary life is not only evolving variously and complicatedly, but eating-out styles are also changing fast. In this reality, this study is intended to examine the effects of marketing mix strategies on perceived value and loyalty in Korean restaurants. To achieve this, a survey was carried out to total 300 customers of Korean restaurants in Seoul from June 11 to June 30, 2013. The results were as follows. First, service experience, price and store image in Korean restaurants had a positive effect on the perceived value. Second, price, advertisement and store image in Korean restaurants had a positive effect on the loyalty. Third, the perceived value had a significant positive effect on the loyalty. As stated above, service experience, price and store image, and price, advertisement and store image in Korean restaurants had an effect on the perceived value and the loyalty, respectively. Also, the perceived value had an effect on the loyalty. Consequently, these factors are very useful as marketing mix strategies in Korean restaurants.
