  • 유비쿼터스 컴퓨팅 환경에서 지능적인 로봇 서비스를 제공하기 위한 로봇 서비스의 범위가 사용자 명령을 그대로 수행하는 단순 서비스에서 상황 해석을 통한 능동 서비스의 개념으로 확대되고 있다. 본 논문은 지능형 로봇 시스템을 기반으로 능동적인 로봇 서비스를 제공하기 위해 발현한 로봇 서비스에 대한 가용성을 평가하는 방법을 제안하였다. 제안한 방법은 실내 환경 변화를 감지하여 컨텍스트 처리를 통한 서비스 목표를 추출하고, 선택된 후보 서비스 리스트를 대상으로, 해당 홈 환경의 상태 정보를 기반으로 서비스 제안에 적합한 상황인지, 서비스 정책에 적합한 서비스인지, 그리고 제공중인 서비스인지 등의 해당 로봇 서비스에 대한 가용성을 평가하여 최적의 로봇 서비스를 제공한다.

Ecosystem Service Assessment of Urban Forest for Water Supply and Climate Mitigation of Seoul Metropolitan Area (환경공간정보를 이용한 수도권의 수자원 공급과 기후완화 기능을 위한 도시림의 생태계서비스 평가)

  • This study assessed the water provisioning and climate mitigation ecosystem services of the urban forest in Seoul and Gyeonggi-do. The ecosystem service assessment is conducted based on natural function, natural function and population, and natural function and the beneficiary of the ecosystem service. Then, the impact of climate change on ecosystem services is analyzed to figure out the sensitivity of the impact on the beneficiary when the natural function of forest destroys under climate change. Gyeonggi-do has higher function-based water provisioning ecosystem service than Seoul. And population-based water provisioning ecosystem service appears to be higher in the densely populated area. On the other hand, beneficiary-based water provisioning ecosystem service by applying both natural water supply function and beneficiary distribution appears different with the result of population-based water provisioning service assessment. In other words, regions with high beneficiary population show higher ecosystem service than those with a low beneficiary population even though they have the same water storage function. In addition, climate change has a negative impact on the water provisioning ecosystem service. Under climate change, water provisioning service is expected to decrease by 26%. For climate mitigation service, regions close to the forest seem to have a low temperature, which indicates their high climate mitigation service. The center of the city with high beneficiary population shows high beneficiary-based ecosystem service. The climate change impacts the forest growth to decrease which affect the beneficiary-based climate mitigation ecosystem service to decrease by 33%. From this study, we conclude that beneficiary-based function and ecosystem service assessment is needed as well as the supply-based classification of forest function suggested by Korea Forest Service. In addition, we suggest that not only supply-based function classification and ecosystem service assessment but also beneficiary-based function classification and ecosystem service assessment is needed for managing the urban forest, which has been destroyed by climate change. This will contribute to revaluing cases where a forest with low natural function but high beneficiary-based ecosystem service, which is not considered under the current forest function-based assessment system. Moreover, this could assist in developing a suitable management plan for the urban forest.

Exploring the Effect of Users' Integrated Estimates of Telecommunication Companies' CSR and Service Quality on Company Preference and Intention to Subscribe Telecommunication Services (통신기업 CSR에 대한 이용자의 통합적 평가와 서비스 품질 평가가 통신기업 선호도와 서비스 가입의도에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구)

  • This study explored the relationship between users' integrated estimates (motivation, activity, & performance) of telecommunication companies' CSR & service qualities and their preference and intention to subscribe telecommunication services. The data were collected from 637 college students for understanding the relationship among variables in KT and SKT. The result indicates that social benefit motivation, legal/moral activity, and social performance of the integrated CSR estimates affected their preference. The estimate of philanthropic activity, however, was not significantly affected on preference. On intention to take telecommunication services toward KT and SKT, the estimate of social performance was only a significant variable in KT and legal/moral activity and social performance were statistically significant in SKT. Generally, the estimate of service quality was the most affective factor toward telecommunication preference and intention to subscribe its services.

  • The purpose of this study is to evaluate an airline service training program based on the CIPP model. Evaluation areas were divided into context, input, process, and product. We analyzed the factors which influenced program satisfaction and recommendation of the training program. Two hundred and one learners who participated in an airline service training program were selected for a survey. The results of this study are as follows. The factors which positively influenced training satisfaction were educational goals in context evaluation, interaction between learners and instructors, managing programs in process evaluation, and training performance in product evaluation. The factor which negatively influenced training satisfaction was human resources in input evaluation. On the other hand, the factors which positively influenced training recommendation were educational goal, assessing needs in context evaluation, interaction between learners and instructors, supporting programs in process evaluation, and training performance in product evaluation. The factor which negatively influenced training recommendation was assessing needs in context evaluation. The results of this study are expected to make an important contribution to the development of service training programs in airlines.

Categorization of Citiesin Gyeonggi-do Using Ecosystem Service Bundles (생태계서비스 번들을 이용한 경기도 도시의 유형화)

  • The concept of ecosystem services is important for the effective management of regional ecological resources. Multiple ecosystem services provided by regional ecosystems are represented as ecosystem service bundles, which define the co-occurrent ecosystem services in a specific region. Bundles provide useful information to identify regional characteristics of ecosystem services and categorize sub-regions with similar patterns of ecosystem service provision. We assessed eleven ecosystem services using modeling approaches and statistical data and produced bundles of cities in Gyeonggi-do.We also conducted principal component analysis and cluster analysis to categorize these cities according to the characteristics of ecosystem services. The results indicated that the cities in Gyeonggi-do were categorized into three groups depending on the types of provision,regulation, and cultural services, and were designated as urbanized, urban-forest, agriculture, or forest cities. These groups were influenced by land use patterns reflecting regional social-environmental features. The results provide useful information for identifying regional ecosystem services and facilitate decision-making in regional ecosystem service management.

  • The purpose of this study is to derive the suggestion of satisfaction of e-book services on the basis of the recent literature on quality assessment for e-service which have been mainly studied on library realm. For this purpose, This study added post-management service which is applicable to measure satisfaction of e-book services based on E-S-Qual and Libqual. We expand our scope of service to using of e-book content and services for individual customers, and analyzed the relationship between satisfaction with the system, the content, the after-sale service. On this foundation, existing e-book service companies can offer their services more efficiently, thereby making the e-book content more diverse, along with developing specialized e-book service to increasing their customer's satisfaction. In addition, the latest and diversity is important as well. Moreover, performing rapid post-management services after the sale of the product or service, can be important variables for customer satisfaction. Therefore, not only the system and content, providing required level post-management services by customers can satisfy the existing customers and create new customers.

  • In cloud computing, service providers develop and deploy services with common and reusable features among various applications, service consumers locate and reuse them in building their applications. Hence, reusability is a key intrinsic characteristic of cloud services. Services with high reusability would yield high return-on-investment. Cloud services have characteristics which do not appear in conventional programming paradigms, existing quality models for software reusability would not applicable to services. In this paper, we propose a reusability evaluation suite for cloud services, which includes quality attributes and metrics. A case study is presented to show its applicability.

The Development and Application of the Service Evaluation Indicators of Transfer Facilities in the High-speed Railway Stations (고속철도역 환승시설 서비스 평가지표 개발 및 적용)

  • The introduction of KTX (Korea Train Express) has brought an historic change to the overall transit system in Korea. The high-speed railway stations in particular are expanding the scope as public transit centers. However, it is evident that the evaluation on the high-speed railway stations had not been performed successfully thus far. The most important element of the evaluation is the connectivity of the departure point to the arriving stations and also the internal transfer service stations. We developed the service evaluation indicators of transfer facilities in the high-speed railway stations. The indicators are comprised of the level of service (LOS), the propriety of allocation, and the quality of information throughout the facilities in the centers. We examined the 7 stations in Korea that are currently in operation and standardized the methodology of the evaluation process by applying the indicators suggested in this study.
