Sensitivity Analysis on the Population within and outside of the Urban Park Service Areas - Focused on Daegu Metropolitan City Neighborhood Parks and Resident Registration Number Data - (도시공원 서비스권역 내 · 외 이용인구 정밀 분석 - 대구광역시 근린공원, 주민등록 데이터 분석을 중심으로 -)

  • Urban parks are public spaces that provide various services for any urban resident to use and enjoy. Parks should be fairly distributed so that the urban parks can be equally used amongst different regions, generations and classes. Researches on spatial distribution of urban parks have been continuously conducted from the past based on the principles of fairness with variety, and it was evident that their techniques have become more elaborate and sophisticated. Yet, there have been limitations in the analysis of residents who are the main users of the urban parks. The research done so far was unable to apply the real number of the residents and it was carried out by only classifying and analyzing the population by the same scale(grid in the same sizes), postal(zip) code and administrative district. The actual population that resides within the usable range of urban parks was not used. This study analyzes and evaluates the spatial distribution that the residents can use on foot, by utilizing the service areas and the residents' registration data by addresses. In this study, to analyze the square measure of the service areas of neighborhood parks in Daegu Metropolitan City and the number of residents within and outside of the service area, network analysis techniques were employed and the residents' registration data were utilized. Major findings were that the Square measure of service areas of neighborhood parks turned out to be 31.23% of the square measure of the residential areas and also, that only 43.03% of the population of the Daegu Metropolitan area lives within the service areas of the neighborhood parks.

Determination of A Bus Service Coverage Area Reflecting Passenger Attributes (이용자 속성을 고려한 버스서비스권역 결정모형의 개발)

  • The paper presented not only the difference of the marginal walking time by passenger. but also the derivation of the bus service determination model by passenger attributes. The marginal walking distance to bus stop is a basic parameter to estimate bus service coverage area in certain area. And the marginal walking distance could be transformed from the marginal walking time, which is the focus of this paper. The result of analysis revealed that the age and income of passenger are strongly related to the marginal walking time. In planning or regulating the spacing of bus routes or bus stops in certain area, the model suggested in this paper help for the planner to choose optimal alternative.

Comparing the Service Coverages of Subways and Buses and Estimating the Walking Distances of Their Users (지하철과 버스의 서비스권역 비교 및 이용자들의 도보거리 추정 - 부산시를 중심으로 -)

  • The light rail transit (LRT) having bus lines as subsystem is being constructed or planned in the suburban area of metropolitans and medium size cities. However, there is difficulty in establishing the service coverage (SC) of the LRT because the LRT is a completely new transit mode in Korea. The purpose of this study is to provide the basic data and techniques to be used for establishing the SC of the future LRT by understanding the SC characteristics of buses and subways and building models to estimate the walking distances of their users. Busan City is selected as the study city and the SC's of buses and subways are surveyed simultaneously. A total of 9 variables for 82 stations are collected and the cluster analysis is conducted about the variables. The station areas are divided to three types of CBD (Central Business District), sub-CBD and regional center based on the analysis. A station in each area is selected as the study station. At the walking distance (WD) analysis for each mode, the 80 percentile WD of the subway is 672 m and that of the bus is 472 m. In comparing the SC's of both modes by the type of station areas, there are not significant differences between the SC's of sub-CBD and regional center except CBD. At analysis of the relationship between the personal attributes and the WD, for subway users the WD of female is longer than that of male and apartment residents use subway more positively than single house residents do. For the models to estimate the walking distances, the simple regression models were built employing the income as independent variable by dividing the stations into CBD abd non-CBD stations.

Determination of Service Areas and Operating Numbers for Free-floating Personal Mobility Sharing Services (First-mile과 Last-mile을 고려한 자유 주차방식(Free-floating) 개인형 이동장치 공유 서비스 권역 및 운영대수 결정)

  • Interest in personal mobility has increased with the growing significance of first-mile and last-mile connectivity in smart mobility services. This study aims to propose a methodology for setting the service area of free-floating personal mobility sharing services and determining the optimal fleet size for the selected shared service area to address first-mile and last-mile challenges. We utilize population data, smart card data, and building data. Additionally, we estimate latent demand by incorporating age-specific and distance-specific utilization rates based on personal mobility device data. Along with the latent demand, we determine the service area based on locations of transit stops and buildings. We apply the proposed methodology to Yeongjong Island, Incheon. As a result, dense residential areas and popular beachside locations are designated as personal mobility sharing service areas. The fleet size for personal mobility in the dense residential service area is determined to be 1,022 units, while the fleet size for the beachside service area is set at 269 units.

  • 1983년에 중국 정부가 자국민의 해외 여행을 허가한 이래, 중국의 아웃바운드 해외 관광 시장은 비약적으로 발전하였다. 대한민국은 이러한 현상의 최대 수혜 국가 중 하나가 되었으며, 항공운송 분야에 있어 특히 혜택을 보았다. 현재 인천국제공항의 전체 이용객 중 23.9%가 중국인이며, 추후에도 중국여객들이 인천국제공항의 주요한 고객으로 남을 것으로 전망된다. 중국의 광활한 영토와 13억이 넘는 인구를 고려할 때, 중국을 하나의 시장으로만 보는 것이 아니라 여러 지역들이 모인 집합체로 바라볼 필요성이 제기된다. 이렇게 할 시, 각 지역마다 다른 중국여객들이 공항 이용에 있어 보이는 태도와 행동양상의 차이점을 파악하여, 차별화된 서비스 제공의 밑바탕이 될 수 있다. 이를 통하여 중국여객들의 인천국제공항 이용 시 고객 가치와 만족도의 향상에 기여할 수 있다. 본 연구는 중국 정부가 경제, 사회 등의 요소를 고려하여 공인한 방식대로 중국 전체를 다섯 개의 권역으로 분할하여 중국여객들이 인천국제공항 이용에 있어 느끼는 만족도를 조사하고자 한다. 특별히 면세점 이용과 관련된 만족도에 중점을 두고자 한다. 권역별로 지니는 차이점을 분석하여, 권역별로 상이한 서비스 전략을 추진하기 위한 전략적 방향성을 제시한다.

A Study on the Solid Waste Collection Districting and Vehicle Routing-Scheduling for Waste Collection Using GIS (GIS를 이용한 생활폐기물의 수거권역설정과 수거차량의 순회경로계획에 관한 연구)

  • Solid waste collection service is viewed as one of the most important public services in urban area. The purpose of this study is to apply the GIS based regional partitioning and arc routing methods for solid waste collection districting and vehicle routing-scheduling in order to provide waste collection service more efficiently. In this study, solid waste deposit sites are derived from the centroid of each building and the amount of solid waste is deduced based on the number of households and establishments. The regional partitioning procedure is performed based on waste collection zones which are constructed from waste deposit sites. The result of this study shows that solid waste collection districts which are delineated by regional partitioning method are able to increase efficiencies and cut costs in performing solid waste collection services. Also the output of vehicle-scheduling from the analysis of arc routing may provide more efficiently and quickly manage the scheduling of the residential solid waste collection routes, reducing costs with minimal deadheading costs. Therefore, the application of GIS based on regional partitioning and arc routing methods would be very useful to construct a solid waste management system by supplying the important and flexible informations for solid waste collection districts and vehicle routing-scheduling for waste collection.

T-DMB 핸드오버 서비스를 위한 가이드라인

  • T-DMB(Terrestrial Digital Multimedia Broadcasting)는 2005년 12월 수도권을 중심으로 본방송을 개시하였으며, 2007년 8월 KBS를 시작으로 전국 서비스를 실시하고 있다. 서비스 영역이 전국으로 확대됨에 따라 휴대이동방송에 필수적인 핸드오버 기술의 필요성이 점차 증가하고 있다. 핸드오버는 사용자가 현재 서비스 권역을 벗어나 인접 권역으로 이동할 때 현재 이용 중인 서비스에 대응하는 새로운 주파수와 서비스를 자동으로 검색하여 제공하는 기술이다. 핸드오버의 성능은 핸드오버에 적합한 방송망 구성과 수신기에서 최적의 핸드오버 알고리즘 구현에 의해 결정된다. T-DMB에서 핸드오버를 도입하기 위하여 방송사들 공동으로 핸드오버 가이드라인을 작성하고 있다. 가이드라인은 핸드오버 모드, 핸드오버 정보의 정의 및 구성, 핸드오버 영역과 지역 ID, 주파수 및 앙상블 테이블과 같은 기술적인 요소와 특정 상황에서 수신기의 동작 패턴 등과 같은 비기술적인 요소를 포함한다. 본고에서는 T-DMB에서 핸드오버에 대한 기본 정보 및 요구사항, 핸드오버를 도입하기 위한 가이드 라인에 대하여 기술하고자 한다.

Rearranging Emergency Medical Service Region Using GIS Network Analysis - Daejeon Metropolitan City Case Study (GIS 네트워크 분석을 활용한 응급의료서비스 권역 재조정 방안 - 대전광역시 사례 연구)

  • Emergency Medical Service(EMS) has become focused due to all kinds of disaster and a great number of casualties. The 119 emergency vehicles' dispatching methods are now being focused, for travel time of ambulances are the critical components in terms of saving human lives. Therefore, this study tried to rearrange 119 EMS regions more efficiently. For this study, Daejeon Metropolitan City's real call cases were analyzed. In order to rearrange the regions, OD Cost Matrix analysis was performed between 800 thousands random points and 26 departments in the Daejoen Metropolitan City. By creating Thiessen Polygon from the random points, a new region was created. As a results, average areas of the regions were reduces from 32 square kilometers to 20 square kilometers, and average time of arrivals are were also improved. Hence, if related organizations plan to rearrange EMS regions, they may utilize this study.

  • 여수권역 해양교통시설에 해양기상 수집 시스템을 구축하여, AtoN AIS를 이용하여 주변을 항해중인 선박에 해양기상 정보를 직접 제공하고, AIS 기지국을 통해 해양기상 정보를 수집 처리하여 연안여객터미널, 해경 파출장소, 유관기관을 해양기상 정보를 제공함으로서 도서민이나 해양에 종사하는 사람, 레져 인구에게 제공하는 서비스로서 해양교통시설을 활용하여 좀 더 안전한 해양 업무를 수행하고 사고로 인한 인명 및 물적, 환경적인 피해를 줄일 수 있도록 한다. 여수권역 해양교통시설에 6개 국소와 별도의 기상관측 부이를 설치하여 대기기상(풍향/풍속, 기온/습도, 기압, 시정) 과 해양기상(유향/유속, 파향/파고, 수온)을 관측 할 수 있도록 구축하였으며, 기상관측 표준화법에 맞게 센서를 검정하고, 설치하여 관측 자료의 신뢰성을 확보하였다.

Regional Comparative Analysis on the Current Status of the Service Industry in Korea (국내 서비스산업의 현황에 대한 지역별 비교분석)

  • Service industry is a fundamental field that takes sustainable development of state economy. However the development of service industry in our economy doesn't yet compare to level of developed countries. It is supported by the recent statistics of our service industry. This paper shows regional comparative analysis about the current status of the service industry based on the number of establishments and workers. Using the data of census on establishments in 16 cities and provinces, we analyze the relative ratio for the number of establishments and workers in service industry among total industry in Seoul metropolitan, Gangwon, Chungcheong, Honam, Youngnam and Jeju region. Also we analyze the relative ratio by provinces in each region. We used the data of census on establishment for 7 years from 2006 to 2012, we calculated the relative ratio of the number of establishments and workers in service industry for the 6 regions. And we analyzed the relative ratio by provinces in each region.
