Understanding the Key Factors Influencing the Success of Sharing Accommodation Services: Evidence from Airbnb.com (공유숙박 서비스 성공에 미치는 요인에 대한 실증연구)

  • Recently, consumers are increasingly interested in the sharing economy, which utilizes various resources by sharing unused or under-used products/services with others. This study focuses on Airbnb, a representative sharing economy platform, to identify the success factors of the sharing accommodation services. The key properties of sharing accommodation services are extensively surveyed from extant literature and are classified them into the three important factors (economic, convenience, and trust) that influence the success of room-sharing services. The research data include 1,673 Airbnb hosts who offered accommodations in New York City, USA, in June 2018. The research variables of economic-, convenience-, and trust-related factors are utilized in the empirical analyses. The results of this study show that the number of available facilities, flexibility of refunds, the response rate and time to customer requests, and the status of Super host are positively associated with guest satisfaction from sharing accommodation services. This study bears significant managerial implications by suggesting a set of practical guidelines to participants in sharing accommodation services.

  • 기술로드맵의 가장 큰 가치는 기술로드맵 자체보다는 그것을 작성하기 위한 일련의 활동과정이라 할 수 있다. 기술전략의 실제적 Tool로서 효과를 발휘, 기술전략수립에 활용되기 위하여, 국가적으로 산업별 로드맵 작성에 적극 나서서 각 산업별, 기술별 발전방향을 제시하기 위하여. 올해 지식경제부는 "지식경제 통합기술청사진"을 발표하였다. 본 논문에서는 "지식경제 통합기술청사진"에 관하여 전반적인 사항들에 관하여 집어보고, 국가 정보 자원관리 차원에서 통합기술청사진을 IT서비스 차원에서의 체계화를 통하여, 관리 및 운영방안에 대한 전략적인 접근을 하고자 한다. 통합 TRM 기반의 IT서비스 관리 및 운영방안에 관련된 부분들을 분석하여 효율적으로 관리 및 활용할 수 있는 운영 방안을 제안한다.

  • Unlike the era of manufacturing-oriented industrial economy in the past, the era of service economy has characteristics intangible goods center, knowledge universalization, and expansion of needs, and many things that are of the economy are changing. In the past, the change in the environment was not fast, so even after analyzing the changed environment and deriving the talent needed for the company, it was possible to maintain a talent for the organization for a long time, so it is not proactive to build and apply talent. It became difficult to manage effectively. Therefore, in this paper, we conducted a normative study for deriving a desirable talent model rather than a descriptive human resource model. Human resources image suitable for the modern service economy era, the modern economic society and modern spirit were analyzed and reflected. The model in which the two opposing members of the organization, managers and employees, interact intensely and balance dialectically. A desirable talent in a modern organization must play the role of a manager, and the management and talent models in a modern organization can be said to be connected to each other like the front and back sides of a coin. The philosophy of human resources was presented in five dimensions: human, historical, social, economic, and management. The human resource model from eight factors: mastery, rationality, wisdom, customer orientation, innovation, flexibility, autonomy, collaboration. This study suggested that general talent model may vary depending on the company's type, empirical follow-up studies are needed the talents in each company in the future.

니즈분석을 통한 PMP 서비스 옵션 가치 평가

  • 휴대용멀티미디어플레이어(이하 PMP)는 2004년 국내에 등장하여 음악과 더불어 영화 및 동영상을 볼 수 있도록 해주고 있는 인기 있는 개인용 전자기기이다. 그러나 수요가 둔화되고, 업체들의 경쟁이 치열해지면서 새로운 기능, 새로운 서비스에 대한 개발이 대두되고 있다. 최근에는 네비게이션 서비스, 학습서비스가 시행되면서 다시 수요가 살아나는 추세이다. 이에 따라 현재 존속하는 서비스에 대한 평가 및 새로운 서비스에 대한 검증이 요망되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 소비자 니즈 조사를 분석함으로써 현재 이용되고 있는 서비스들의 상황을 분석하고, 신규 서비스에 대한 수요 가치를 분석하였다. 분석 대상이 된 기존 상용 서비스는 게임, DMB, 영화, 음악, 네비게이션, 전자사전, 전자책, 이러닝, 만화, 무선인터넷였고, 신규 서비스는 u-Commerce, u-Health, u-Security, u-Public였다. 본 연구결과 PMP 응용 수요선호도 순위는 영화, TV, 음악 순이었으며, 신규서비스 u-Commerce, u-Health, u-Security, u-Public 옵션들에 대한 구매의향 평균가는 68,102원으로 나타났다.

Effects of Consumption Value on Consumer Attitude in Purchasing HMR Products through Subscription Service (구독서비스를 통한 HMR 제품 구매에 있어 소비가치가 소비자태도에 미치는 영향)

  • In recent years, Korean consumption trends have undergone rapid changes. Also, subscription economy has emerged and is growing as a new shopping method. The purpose of this study was to verify the relationship between consumer attitude and intention to continue to use of the consumption value of subscription service based on subscription economy. To this end, we analyzed the structural equation modeling for 300 consumers who used HMR products through subscription services. The analysis results are as follows. First, consumption value (functional, emotional, social and monetary) of HMR products perceived by subscribers had a significantly positive effect on consumer attitude except for monetary value. Second, consumer attitude was found to have a positive effect on consumers' intention to continue to use. This study contributes to the development of academic theories related to the subscription service in the early stages and provides managerial implications for HMR-related companies that want to utilize subscription service.

  • This study examines the characteristics of service economies and their impacts on the spatial transformation of Korea during the last IS years. This study reviews the different perspectives for the tertiarization Process. It focuses on the spatial variation in the growth and location of Producer service industries. Based on the analyses of industrial and occupational compositions, services. particularly producer services, have played a major role in creating new job opportunities since the late 1980s. The ratio of services to merchandise trade is approximately 1:4, but service trades have increased since the early 1990s. Producer service activities have grown very rapidly, and the information processing service has been over-concentrated in Seoul. Further headquarters of bank and insurance services are overwhelmingly concentrated into Seoul. The firms whose headquarters are located in Seoul have linkage Pattern on a nationwide scale. The pattern of employment growth in producer services shows a clear core-Periphery disparity. In the light of the observed pattern of regional differentiation in producer service employment, some wider implications of the distribution of producer service activities for regional economic Performance are considered.

  • As the concentration of people in urban area become severe and abnormal meteorological disasters such as regional torrential rains, heavy snows, sweltering heat, and so on have been increasing, the interest on the urban meteorological information service, which considers the specific characteristics of metropolitan areas in weather forecasting, are also increasing. The urban meteorological information service is one of up-to-date technologies which observes urban weather in a more microscale perspective compared to the present weather forecasting system and provides useful meteorological information which is specialized for metropolises in real time. Therefore, urban meteorological information service is expected to contribute to the increase in quality of life for citizens and to the development of industry in urban areas. In this study, we estimate the economic benefit of the urban meteorological information service using contingent valuation method with survey data of the citizens who are expected to be the direct customers of this new information service. As a result, we conclude that the household is willing to pay 5,963 Korean won per year on average, during a period of five years, for receiving this meteorological information service, and this willingness-to-pay is varied by the socio-economic characteristics of head of the household.

  • This study aimed to analyze the overall operation status of the Bank of Korea library representing the economic library in Korea, investigate user satisfaction and demand, and to propose a direction for the development of the economic library in the future. To this end, a case study was conducted on changes in the external environment of major libraries at home and abroad, and a user survey was conducted. As a result, the future tasks include introducing smart systems, robotics some library services, non-face-to-face service response spaces that reflect the times, introducing big data analysis services, strengthening user-tailored systems, and activating SNS communication. It proposed developing specialized libraries, online reference and research support services, and providing original DBs for publications to strengthen expertise, maintaining and expanding cloud services, maintaining and expanding cooperative projects, and collecting national knowledge and information.

A Study on the Shift to Service Economy and Changes on Labor Productivity in the Service Industry (서비스경제로의 이행과 노동생산성 변화에 대한 국제비교연구)

  • This paper examines the shift to service economy in the developed countries including Korea and analyzes whether Baumol's cost disease hypothesis could explain the labor productivity growth in the developed countries even though the share of service industry is rising rapidly. We have found the following results: First, the shift to service economy is widely observed in the developed countries. Second, the productivity gap between manufacturing and service industry is widening as a result of stagnant productivity growth in service industry. Third, however, the productivity in the whole economy is still growing because of the large productivity differences among the sub-industries in service industry. Fourth, we have found that the productivities of some service industries, such as finance, communication, business service, etc., are almost same or larger than the productivity of manufacturing industry. From this fact it is likely that the productivity of the whole economy could grow in spite of the stagnant productivity growth in service industry.

  • 본 연구는 경제의 정보화와 기술발달에 의해 등장한 전문정보서비스산업을 사례로 하여 세계화-지방화의 경향하에서 공간적 발달 경향을 고찰하였다. 산업의 세계화가 가속화되고 지역간 경쟁의 심화되는 추세 속에서 전문정보서비스 산업은 특정 장소가 제공하는 입지요소에 더욱 민감하게 될 것임을 시사한다. 유연적 전문화의 가설과는 달리 이 산업이 특정지역에 뿌리내리게 되는 요체는 특정 지역과 세계적 차원의 연결 및 통합의 원활함에 달려있다. 세계도시와 같은 양호한 입지조건을 갖춘 지역은 여타 지역을 배제하고 집중을 지속시켜 나가는 경향을 보여 준다.
