This study examined the effect of long-term care utilization on the health care utilization of Medicaid elderly. The subjects were 5,834 long-term care insurance with the level 1 Medicaid elders, who received either service or non-service. This study examined the impact of long-term care service on the probability of health care utilization and the costs of health care utilization. The total medical cost and inpatient day between 2009-2007 were significant factors affecting long-term care utilization (${\beta}=.29$, p< .001, ${\beta}=.33$, p< .001 ) and this variable explained 22.6% of the total medical cost and 22.4% of the inpatient day. The results showed that non-service in long-term care was associated with an increase in health care utilization. The current long-term care insurance system should place higher priority and more resource allocation on long-term care utilization to increase the efficiency of the insurance system.

빅데이터, IoT, 클라우드 인프라 등 기술의 발달에 따라 일상생활 중에서도 개인과 환경의 변화에 대해 실시간 데이터 수집이 용이하게 되었다. 이를 활용하여 개인의 다양한 특성과 상황을 인지하고 다면적으로 의미를 분석할 수 있는 개인의 라이프스타일(lifestyle, 생활습관) 분석 기술이 중요하게 부각되고 있다. 이 라이프스타일 데이터는 개인의 질병이나 사회 심리적 문제의 원인 분석과 미래 트렌드의 변화예측을 할 수 있는 중요한 근거로 활용된다. 최근 이를 위한 연구로서 활동량, 스트레스, 위치, 수면 등의 라이프스타일 패턴을 추출하여 체계적인 프로세스로 삶의 질을 향상시키는 웰니스 (Wellness) 예측케어 서비스 연구와 서비스들이 활발히 진행되고 있다. 하지만 이러한 서비스를 제공하기에 앞서 개인의 복잡한 라이프스타일 패턴의 추출이 단편적으로만 이뤄지고 있어서, 패턴들 사이의 복잡한 관계를 분석하거나 연계 서비스로의 확장 및 라이프스타일 패턴의 재사용적인 측면에서의 문제가 어려운 이슈가 되고 있다. 이 때문에 웰니스 서비스의 신뢰도가 낮아 사용자가 단순히 재미로 느끼는 수준이거나 일회성에 그치는 모바일 어플리케이션 서비스를 제공받는 경우가 다반사이다. 본 논문에서는 IoT환경에서 다양한 스마트 디바이스에 의해 수집되는 라이프로그로 부터 라이프스타일 패턴 추출 및 모델링, 라이프스타일 패턴 분석으로부터 개인의 행동 추론 및 예측, 원인파악과 관련 지표를 정량적으로 설계하는 분석 엔진 개발 방안, 서비스 디자인을 통하여 실효적인 생활개선의 변화를 유도하는 기술, 개인의 심리적 특성까지 고려한 신뢰성 높은 케어 서비스 제공까지의 전반적인 웰니스 예측케어 서비스시스템 프로세스 및 플랫폼 설계 방안을 제시한다.

최근 유비쿼터스 컴퓨팅의 발전으로 인간에게 편리한 생활환경을 제공하기 위한 다양한 서비스들이 연구되고 있다. 향후 이런 서비스가 정차 현실화되면서 인간의 생활환경에는 많은 수의 서비스들이 제공될 것이다. 하지만 인간을 편리하게 하는 서비스라 할지라도 그 수가 많아지면 이를 이용하는 사용자에게 혼란을 초래할 수 있다. 그렇기 때문에 유비쿼터스 환경에서는 사용자 주위의 많은 서비스들로부터 사용자에게 유용한 서비스와 그렇지 않은 서비스를 결정할 수 있는 방법이 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 local area의 물리공간을 모델링하고 물리공간과 유비쿼터스 서비스의 관계를 정의하여 사용자가 서비스를 요청한 공간을 바탕으로 사용자에게 유용한 서비스와 그렇지 않는 서비스를 구분할 수 있는 방법을 제시한다.

노인은 대부분의 활동을 주거 공간 중심으로 보내게 되므로, 노화에 따른 만성적 지병과 신체활동의 기능저하로 말미암아 주거와 의료 서비스의 결합은 노인의 생활에 있어서 핵심적인 요소가 아닐 수 없다. 따라서 주거와 의료서비스를 결합한 노인의료주거단지에 있어 노인의 라이프스타일을 반영한 다양한 형태의 주거생활공간에 대한 연구와 대안모색이 필요하다. 참여와 공동창작으로 이루어지는 유니버설서비스디자인의 프로세스를 본 연구에 도입함으로써 주체적이고 활동적인 서비스의 소비자로서의 노인에 대한 적극적인 대안이 될 것이다.

In this paper, the u-Service system that is based on location-aware technology is designed and implemented for a silver town. On the real silver town the developed system has been employed and tested to provide convenient and secure living for residents. It provides services such as emergency call, intelligent elevator operation, and hands-free door access based on the location of the residents with personal device as called smart tag. It can also be applied to other service areas such as the location-aware u-Service for hospital, high-rising complex building, APT, etc.

This study aims to identify the factors that affect customer satisfaction as the market growth of rental subscription services for living environment home appliances increases. Unlike previous research, which focused on online subscriptions (e.g., digital content, over-the-top (OTT) services, e-books, and mobile devices), this study expands the scope to include rental subscriptions for household environmental appliances. Specifically, this study analyzes the factors influencing customer satisfaction among rental subscription service users by examining the effects of perceived usefulness, reliability, and convenience. The results show that users' perceived reliability and convenience of rental subscription services for living environment home appliances significantly affect customer satisfaction. Perceived usefulness, however, was not found to have a significant impact, as it is an abstract and subjective customer aspect. The implications of the results are as follows: First, standardized services must be strengthened to increase the reliability of rental subscription services. Additionally, it is necessary to improve convenience by developing additional services when managing regular visits tailored to the characteristics of each product. Providing customized services by integrating products and Information and Communications Technologies (ICT). Furthermore, effective customer management to increase customer satisfaction is crucial, as it can lead to cross-selling and up-selling opportunities. Lastly, venture start-ups should actively apply a subscription service business model.

This study aims to investigate the effects of college students' library satisfaction on college life satisfaction. In order to test this relationship, two surveys were conducted involving 360 college students at two universities in Seoul. The results of the first survey show that after controlling for the educational service satisfaction and facilities satisfaction, there is a significant influence of college students' library satisfaction on college life satisfaction. The second study added variables for the three components of library service quality (librarian service quality, library resources and service quality, and library facilities and environmental quality). The results of the second survey show that there is a significant influence of library service quality on college library satisfaction, and again a significant influence of college students' library satisfaction on college life satisfaction. Moreover, the results of two group analysis show that the influence of college library satisfaction on college life satisfaction is stronger in high usage group than low usage group. The theoretical and practical implications of this study are discussed.
