  • In this study, real-time monitoring is carried out in the factory site for product quality control such as improvement of productivity through facility automation, improvement of product quality, improvement of factory environment, check of facility maintenance status and check of product defect, And to establish a smart factory for the purpose of protecting the personal environment of the worker. The company is an auto parts company located in the province. The main research content is development of automation and monitoring system of oil filter clipping necessary for smart factory. Smart factory oil filter clipping automation is divided into electric air parts, solenoid valve and other parts processing process. Smart factory quality inspection monitoring system is implemented by server PC and S / W, client software, Operator PC, operating program, and input terminal application. This research data is expected to be very useful data for the auto parts venture companies that are promoting smart factories.

  • This paper introduces a manufacturing facility visualization system for the monitoring of smart factories. With the development of technology and the emergence of such terms as the Fourth Industrial Revolution and Industry 4.0, technologies for smart factories are becoming more important. A Manufacturing Execution System that can improve productivity and help decision making by monitoring production plants in real-time is one of the key technologies for smart factories. The application of digital twin technology for more accurate monitoring technology is also an important issue. However, digital twin implementations require an integrated infrastructure that can integrate facility data from multiple manufacturers. Therefore, this paper designs and develops a visualization program that can verify real-time information of facilities using data collection system based on international standard protocol for heterogeneous collection and monitoring of facility data. This allows a factory to consolidate equipment data from multiple manufacturers and to view them in real-time.

Implementing of Efficient Looms Management System (효율적인 직기 관리 시스템의 구현)

  • In this paper, we implemented a looms management system which supports remote monitoring and scientific management of the looms. In the implemented system, the layout of the looms is placed in the user interface, and each loom's operating state and rate are automatically represented there. The implemented system has aggregate query processing functions for the looms existing in the selected area by the louse and it also has high level query processing functions to support the chart and pivot table; it can be used as a decision support system. The proposed system can detect temporal or persistent problems of the looms. Therefore, it can be used to raise the productivity and to reduce the cost in textile companies by coping with the situation properly.

  • For several decades, economic growth has achieved in the aspect of productivity and effectiveness not environmental friendly. As a result, global warming is a major agenda to solve. Therefore, global effort to sustainable development has been adopted like UNFCCC and Kyoto protocol that aimed to reduce greenhouse gas. However, the construction industry has only focused on applying techniques for using less energy sources not monitoring sustainable construction and development. Therefore, this study developed a tool for monitoring greenhouse gas emissions in construction industry. The proposed system evaluates and estimates BAU (Business as usual) for each phase of a construction project. For this purpose, analyzed the greenhouse gas emission factors coincide to life cycle of a construction project. The scope of monitoring is determined according to data availability and emission factor. Then, the system framework is developed and the calculation logic is proposed the system features provide comparison between the emission estimates for eco-friendly design and the actual emission of construction and operation phases. The system would be utilized as a tool for supporting to green construction realization and green construction performance evaluation.

  • Severe mine disasters have continued to occur around the world. To ensure worker's health and safety and enhance the productivity, a number of studies have been conducted for the development of wireless sensor network (WSN), environmental monitoring, and communication system in underground mines. An increase in development and application of these systems has just begun with the introduction of information and communication technology into the mining industry in Korea, and yet there have been only a few studies that considered the underground mine ventilation system. This study presented the literature review on the development of WSN and environmental monitoring in underground mines, and especially, on 7 subjects in terms of underground mine ventilation. Moreover, studies that especially conducted real-time environmental monitoring were reviewed and categorized by each commercial software commonly utilized for the ventilation network analysis. For the application in domestic underground mines, further issues were discussed regarding research subjects that may be needed in the future and domestic environmental standards that has been used in the underground mine operation. This paper is expected to be useful for the development of WSN-based environmental monitoring and communication system, as well as for related studies in the future.

  • This paper presents the monitoring method of machining error and quality check to improve the productivity of boring manufacturing process. Machining error usually appears as the offset of spatial location of actual cutting path compared to ideal cutting path. In order to monitor an error of workpiece, multiple factors affecting quality of boring, such as distortion of workpiece, clamping error, radial rotation error of the spindle and motion error of machine tools, were took into account. To verify the productive quality, we propose the quality check system. The system based on IT convergence analyzes the process error rate and saves the analyzed data in memory. Also, these play important roles in detecting an inferior production goods and can decrease the production cost and loss of bearing.

  • 전 세계적으로 환경 보호의 차원에서 자동차 업체는 자동차의 연비 향상을 위한 차체의 경량화가 큰 이슈로 대두되고 있다. 이를 위해 알루미늄과 같은 경량화 소재를 이용하여 차체 조립에 투입하고자 연구 중에 있다. 이와 같은 레이저 용접 공정이 현장에 적용되기 위해서는 용접부의 품질을 실시간으로 모니터링하고 품질을 판단하여야 생산성을 극대화 할 수 있다. 그러므로 본 연구에서는 알루미늄 AA5182 알루미늄 판재의 용가 와이어를 이용한 레이저 용접에서 용접부를 모니터링 할 수 있는 시스템을 구축하였다. 이를 위하여 레이저는 4kW급 Nd:YAG 레이저를 사용하였고, 차체용 알루미늄 판재 AA5182 1.4t를 AA5356 와이어를 이용하여 용접을 수행하였다. 모니터링 센서로는 반응 범위가 190 mn~680 nm인 센서를 이용하였고, 용접 중 센서로부터 발생된 출력전류를, 신호 증폭기와 DAQ 보드를 통해 초당 10,000 samples/sec로 계측하였다. 다양한 용접조건을 이용하여 실험을 수행하였고 이를 정량적으로 분석하였다. 계측된 신호와 용접 품질은 비선형적 관계를 가지고 있으므로 본 연구에서는 용접 품질을 예측하는 방법으로 퍼지 패턴인식 알고리즘을 이용하는 방법과 계측 신호를 이용한 인장강도 예측모델을 이용하여 병렬로 품질평가를 할 수 있는 알고리즘을 구현하였다. 이를 위하여 계측된 신호와 용접 품질과의 관계를 이용하여 퍼지 규칙 베이스 정의하였고, 신경회로망 모델을 이용하여 인장강도 예측모델을 제시하였다. 또한 품질 평가 알고리즘을 기반으로 레이저 용접부의 품질평가가 가능한 GUI 프로그램을 구현하였다.

  • As the semiconductor industrials change 200㎜-sized semiconductor wafer production process to 300㎜-sized one, it requires to develop the software for monitoring and simulating the robot which transfers a 300㎜-sized semiconductor wafer. Because such a software don't run at standalone but communicate MCS(Material Control System) and Its subsystem a robot, its architecture is very complex. Therefore, in order to develop such a software systematically, we must utilize an object-oriented development methodology. UML. This paper presents an UML process application developing the software for monitoring and simulating the robot which transfers a semiconductor wafer on the production process.
