  • 시각적 의미의 개발에 바탕을 둔 색채 디자인 연구는 인간의 감성을 중시하는 새로운 패러다임을 맞이하여, 보다 확장적이고 다양한 연구로 발전되고 있다. 특히 화장품 브랜드의 개발과정에서 색채연구의 기능과 역할은 보다 새로운 차원으로 확대, 발전될 수 있는 가능성이 많다. 본 연구의 목적은 허브 식물이 가진 치료 효과와 심신을 편안하게 해주는 감성적 요인을 이용하여, 다차원적 감성을 활용한 색채 연구 방법론을 개발하고 이를 통한 자연성 화장품 브랜드의 이미지 전략을 수립하는데 있다. 허브 식물과 사용자 간의 감성적 교류에 대한 다차원적 특성은 '프리메라'라는 자연성 화장품 브랜드를 위한 감성적 이미지 개발 전략의 사례연구를 통하여 연구되었다. 본 사례 연구에서는 여성의 피부 특성에 따른 세 종류의 시각적/촉각적 색채 이미지 접근 방법을 분석하고, 이를 통한 활용 색체 팔레트를 개발함으로써 프리메라가 갖고 있는 브랜드의 이미지를 확고히 전달할 수 있는 감성 언어 체계를 개발하였다.

  • There are relatively abundant guide lines on designing taking a side view of aesthetics though most of guidelines are based on designer's intuition and common sense. This study focuses on design methodology what can bring about the sensibility from users which coincides with the purpose of the web sites, breaking from the design which was focused on efficient usability. For this approach we applied color scheme to web design based on sensibility model of I.R.I Color Laboratory. Effective color scheme can build up and enhance the sensibility communication between designers and users.

  • The anthers of Yellow Special A, a leading tobacco variety, were cultured on the modified RM-1964 medium. Approximately three weeks after culture, plantlets emerged out of the anthers, and they reached blooming stage in six months. 24 univalent chromosomes were most frequently observed at M1 of PMC. Number of bivalent was 0.8 per PMC.

  • The Karyotypes of Korean Sciurus uulgaris coreae and Tamias sibiricus asiaticus were analyzed by the G-banding method. Chromosomes of two species could be identified by G-banding patterns. The banding patterns of chromosomes 9, 10, 12 and X of S. vulgaris coreae were identical to those of chromosomes 6, 9, 12 and X, respectively of T. sibiricus asiaticus. It was shown that chromosomes 4, 10, 7 and 17 of T. sibiricus asiaticus resulted from pericentric inversion of chromosomes 1, 7, 8 and 16 of S. vulgaris coreae. These results suggested that pericentric inversion was an important factor in the karyological differentiation of two species.

  • The comparative karyological analysis of the Korean treefrog, Hyla japonica and Hyla suweonensis performed by conventional giemsa-staining and NOR-staining method. The karyotypes of both species were the same (2n=24). However, according to the Karyological analysis, the 6th chromosomes of the two species distinctly different. Eventhough the 6th chromosomes of the two species shown the same % length, construction of the 6th chromosome of H.japonica was subtelocentric chromosome while H. suweonensis was submetacentric chromosome. This phenomena could explain that the morphological differences in the 6th chromosomes might be caused by pericentric inversion. The two species have 1 pair of NOR site in the 6th chromosome.

  • 두 지역에서 채집한 초파리 자연집단에 대하여 난소발생이상 실험에 의한 P 인자 활성과 세포질형을 분석하여 P 전이인자의 계통형을 조사하였다 전체 238 isofemale line을 조사한 결과 strong P와 true M은 존재하지 않았고, 0(weak P)와 M'(pseudo M) strain이 전체의 98.74%를 차지하여 가장 우세하게 분포하고 있었다. P$\pi$25.1 probe를 이용한 in situ hybridization을 행하여 P 전이인자의 copy수를 조사한 결과 평균 42.12개로 나타났으며, 0와 M'의 계통형 간에 유의적인 차이는 없었다 그러나 염색체 firm당 COPy수는 X염색체가 상염색체의 좌 우 각 arm보다 다소 높게 분포하고 있었고. 염색체상 P 전이인자의 삽입부위에 대한 특이적 좌위는 존재하지 않았다 P 전이인자의 분자구조에 대한 변이형을 조사하기 위하여 southern blot hybridization을 행한 결과 2.9kb의 완전한 크기의 분자를 포함하여 여러종류의 단편들이 확인되었다 조사한 모든 isofemale line에서 KP(1. 15kb)인자를 포함하고 있었으며 이들 KP인자가 P-M System의 난소발생이상을 표현하는데 있어 억제적 작용을 하는 것으로 판단되었다.

Chromosome Analysis by GTG, High-Resolution, and NOR-banding Techniques in the Dog (Cams familaris) (GTG, High-Resolution, Nor-banding에 의한 개의 염색체 분석)

  • None of the numerous published canine idiograms and karyotypes has yet been generally accepted as a standard one because the dog has 76 acrocentric autosomes of similar size and shape. To establish canine banded karyotype from the 22nd chromosome to the 37th chromosome, we analyzed canine chromosomes by GTG, high resolution, and NOR-banding techniques. The GTG and high resolution banding patterns of canine chromosomes corresponded to other reports described previously except for a few chromosomes. While other researchers observed 12 bands, we observed 7 bands in the banding patterns of chromosome 24, 34 and 37. On the other hand, the banding patterns by NOR-banding technique showed that three pairs of autosomes have nucleolus organizer regions at the terminal ends of their long arm, and the Y chromosome has it in its short arm terminal. However, the X chromosome has no nucleolus organizer like other mammals.

Manipulation of Mini-Yeast Artificial Chromosome Containing Xylan Metabolism Related Genes and Mitotic Stability Analysis in Yeast (Xylan 대사유전자를가진미니효모인공염색체의가공및 Mitotic Stability 분석)

  • In this study, yeast artificial chromosome Insert (YAC) harboring genes which related xylan metabolism was constructed by using chromosome manipulation technique. For efficient chromosome manipulation, each splitting fragment (DNA module) required for splitting process was prepared and these DNA modules were transformed into Saccharomyces cerevisiae strain YKY164. By two-rounds chromosome splitting, yeast chromosome VII (1,124 kb) was split 887 kb-YAC, 45 kb-mini YAC and 198 kb-YAC and YKY183 strain containing 18 chromosomes was constructed. Splitting efficiency for chromosome manipulation was 50- 78% and expression level of foreign genes on 45 kb-mini YAC and enzyme activity were indistinguishable from that of the YKY164 strain. Furthermore, xylan-degraded products by recombinant enzymes were confirmed and mini-yeast artificial chromosome maintained stable mitotic stability without chromosome loss during 160 generations.
