Development of the Linear Feeder for Uniform Transportation of Grains (균일한 곡물이송을 위한 색채 선별기용 리니어 피더의 개발)

  • The purpose of this study is to develope a linear feeder for uniform transportation of grains and to present its design guide line. so, It is measured the displacement of the front and rear aspect of the feeder in time domain. And the measured time signal is represented to the plane coordinate. From this process, it is presented the motion of the feeder in a harmonic excited condition. Also, It is determined whether translation motion or rotation motion. From these course, it is defined the optimized dynamic motion for uniform transportation of grains. It is included a ratio of the displacement and the angle which the dynamic motion between the front and rear aspect of the feeder.

  • 공간 조인을 위한 공간 색인은 단일할당 방식과 다중할당 방식으로 구분한다. 단일할당 공간색인은 하나의 공간색채를 단 하나의 노드에만 할당하고, 다중할당은 하나의 객체를 여러 노드에 할당하는 공간 색인으로서 R-tree 가 전자에 해당하고, Quad-tree가 후자에 해당한다. 지금까지 단일 할당과 다중 할당 공간 색인에서의 공간조인에 대한 직접적인 성능 비교 평가가 거의 없다. 왜냐하면 각 공간 색인의 구조가다르고 적용할 수 있는 공간 조인 기법 또한 전혀 달라 정확한 성능 평가가 매우 어렵기 때문이다. 그래서 이 논문에서는 고정 그리드 파일을 변형하여 다중 할당 공간 색인과 단일 할당 공간 색인을 각각 구성한 뒤 두 공간 색인의 병렬 공간 조인 성능을 평가하였다. 평가를 위해 4가지 병렬공간조인기법을 제안하였다. 그리고 태스크 할당을 위해 태스크의 크기와 객체의 공간 지역성을 이용한 준동적 태스크 할당 방법을 제안하였다. 실험은 MIMD 구조 및 공유디스크 방식의 병렬 시스템에서 수행되었고, 여과 단계 후 중복을 제거하는 다중할당-단일조인 방식이 우수함을 보였다.

  • Since the beginning of time people had been using color to mark territory and decorate their surroundings. Color was taken for granted today as an intrinsic part of every waking moment. In modern age, color education was very important curriculum of art and design. In general, color expressed by hue, value and chroma but used the tone on the design spot, therefore the tone concept education was very important to color education. In this study I planned the usable "Systematic Color Coordinate System 180" for general color education on hue and tone color system and manufactured the color papers, color chart and color code based on the system. "Systematic Color Coordinate System 180" was attached the Munsell notation and common color names which could reappear the colors when needed.

  • 본 연구에서는 천연염색 실크직물의 배색 시스템을 활용하여 배색 감성에 기반한 패션의류 제품을 개발하고자 하는 목적으로 천연염색 업계에서 즉시 활용 가능한 국내외 시판용 천연염재를 대상으로 균일화된 기계화 염색 공정을 통해 의류용 실크직물에 다양한 천연염색 색채를 발현한 후 대표 단색군을 선별하여 동일톤과 유사톤의 원리를 이용한 3배색 데이터 베이스를 구축하였다. 나아가 현대적이면서 한국적인 텍스타일 모티브를 개발하여 3배색 데이터를 적용한 배색 디자인을 제시하고, 이들 모티브와 배색 디자인이 적용된 패션 의류 아이템들을 제작하여 천연염색을 활용한 실크직물의 배색 감성을 적용한 현대적 하이-프리미엄 패션의류제품을 제안하였다.

  • In this paper, we propose a favorite color correction algorithm for color enhancement in color application system which represent preferred colors for viewer's demands. The proposed algorithm corrects skin color which is widely used as a reference color for color control of color application system, blue color which is directly related to tri-stimulus values, and green color which has higher visual sensitivity. In the proposed algorithm, the vaiation range of phase detector output voltage was minimized for the favorite color saturation changes, thus the favorite from the burst signal for the phase detector characteristic, thus the favorite color was easilty detected from the other color without overlapping of correctionranges.

Analysis of Users' Emotions on Lighting Effect of Artificial Intelligence Devices (인공지능 디바이스의 조명효과에 대한 사용자의 감정 평가 분석)

  • Artificial intelligence (AI) technology has been evolving to recognize and learn the languages, voice tones, and facial expressions of users so that they can respond to users' emotions in various contexts. Many AI-based services of particular importance in communications with users provide emotional interaction. However, research on nonverbal interaction as a means of expressing emotion in the AI system is still insufficient. We studied the effect of lighting on users' emotional interaction with an AI device, focusing on color and flickering motion. The AI device used in this study expresses emotions with six colors of light (red, yellow, green, blue, purple, and white) and with a three-level flickering effect (high, middle, and low velocity). We studied the responses of 50 men and women in their 20s and 30s to the emotions expressed by the light colors and flickering effects of the AI device. We found that each light color represented an emotion that was largely similar to the user's emotional image shown in a previous color-sensibility study. The rate of flickering of the lights produced changes in emotional arousal and balance. The change in arousal patterns produced similar intensities of all colors. On the other hand, changes in balance patterns were somewhat related to the emotional image in the previous color-sensibility study, but the colors were different. As AI systems and devices are becoming more diverse, our findings are expected to contribute to designing the users emotional with AI devices through lighting.

  • Aid to navigation is a navigational aid facility that informs a sailing vessel of its location and direction as well as a location of a specific obstacle by means of a light, shape, color, sound, radio wave, etc. It can be valuable in improving the safety of day and night vessel navigation at sea. For the safety of the tug boat, the minimum equipment requirements for each type of tug boat are arranged. Despite these preparations, the collision accidents between tug boats, barges, and light buoys can occur when the tug boat turns due to the length of the tow-line, tidal current, and the barge's momentum etc. The purpose of this study was to propose the basic system that analyzes the physical relationship between two vessels regarding the tug boat-barge-light buoy dynamics and propagate the corresponding data through the aid to navigation management & operation systems in use at each regional oceans and fisheries.

Flower Recognition System Using OpenCV on Android Platform (OpenCV를 이용한 안드로이드 플랫폼 기반 꽃 인식 시스템)

  • New mobile phones with high tech-camera and a large size memory have been recently launched and people upload pictures of beautiful scenes or unknown flowers in SNS. This paper develops a flower recognition system that can get information on flowers in the place where mobile communication is not even available. It consists of a registration part for reference flowers and a recognition part based on OpenCV for Android platform. A new color classification method using RGB color channel and K-means clustering is proposed to reduce the recognition processing time. And ORB for feature extraction and Brute-Force Hamming algorithm for matching are used. We use 12 kinds of flowers with four color groups, and 60 images are applied for reference DB design and 60 images for test. Simulation results show that the success rate is 83.3% and the average recognition time is 2.58 s on Huawei ALEUL00 and the proposed system is suitable for a mobile phone without a network.

  • A Computerzed Neuropsychological Test(CNT) system using multimedia and object oriented technologies are developed for clinical application in psychiatry. The developed system is composed of 14 neuropsychologial tests which are capable of evaluation of various cognitive functions and functional localization of brain. The system employs Microsoft Window based graphic user interface for easy operation and it has a touch screen and a mouse as input devices from the patient. Speech perception test, color word test, verbal memory test, contingent continuos performance test, and trail making test were translated into korean language, so that usefulness of tests was maximized. Through the results of utilization of this system in the cases of patients with head trauma and psychiatric desorder, this system can be proved to be useful in the evaluation of cognitive function and functional localization of brain.

  • This paper designs a serious game for rehabilitation of patients with body pains because they sit down for a long time in the same position, or less physical movement. Activity-based game induces to player improvements in physical exercise with fun elements of the game through entertainment to help the body function and substantially increases the player's commitment during challenging goal. This research is a game design that combines the treatment of color and movement of body to the rhythm of the music. We constructed with XNA Game Studio and KINECT interface with gesture recognition technology. We need to research of evaluation system and test for the actual effect of the treatment and advanced functions of game playes like adding various musics and variety of motion.
