The celadon jar with inscription of 'the Fourth Sunhwa Year' is an important chronology that shows the conditions of production of the early celadon due to the inscription on the bottom including its purpose, application, and the producer. This celadon jar has been restored several times in the past. However, concerns over the structural stability, such as the separation and level differences in the joined cracks, have risen because of the aging of the repair materials, which were subjected to various environmental changes over a long time. By examining the conditions of preservation, the major damage was identified as the '入' shaped crack on the front, the 'V' shaped restored part and the crack on its left side, and the 'J' shaped crack on the back side. In the past, the cracks were found to be joined using a refined lacquer containing camphor, drying oil, rosin, etc. mixed with soil powder. The joint line was repainted with the refined lacquer and covered with gold powder. The missing parts were restored with gypsum and colored with acrylic color. After that, the repair materials were aged and emergency treatment was performed at the National Museum of Korea in 1981. At that time, Cemedine C or Cemedine C mixed with microballoons was used for reinforcing the cracks. Conservation treatment focused on removing the past repair materials and reinforcing the physically fragile parts by joining and restoring them based on the examination of the preservation condition. in addition, the area around the restored part was colored for future exhibition.
This study was conducted in order to find out the tendency of sericultural woman's clothes. This data was based on random samples of 183 sericultural women throughout the country, and was derived from the investigation of c1othes (western and Korean-style) which had been made during the years, 1967∼1969. The results obtained are summarized as follows: 1. Western-style clothes were about twice as popular as Korean-style, and more evident among the young women. It was also shown that the ratioes mentioned above were gradually decreased year by year. 2. Most popular among the western-style clothes were blouses, one-piece dresses and skirts. Jogori(coat) and Cheema(long skirt) were favorites among the Korean-styled clothes. One-piece dresses showed increasing tendency of use year by year. 3. Costume-made clothes were much more in number than the home-made and the ready-made types. The home-made and the ready-made clothes increased as the ages increased. 4. Western-styled clothes were popular in summer seasons while Korean-styled clothes were popular in the winter time. Among the western-styled clothes one-pieces dresses and two-piece suits were most popular during the spring through autumn. In Korean clothes the Cheema was popular all year round. 5. Western-style clothes were mostly made of polyester and their blends. Silk was the least used fabric. On the contrary, most of Korean-style clothes were made of silk and their blends. The synthetic fibers showed increasing use year by year. 6. Favorite colors were in order; white, blue, brown, and black in western-style clothes; white, blue, green, and gray were in Korean style clothes. Young women teaded to have a wider preference of colors than the older women.
Filter colorimeters have a set of spectral bands for which spectral responsivity is the same as the color matching function defined by CIE (Commission Internationale de I'Eclairage). We have designed a set of color matching function filters denoted by $\bar{x}-filter,\;\bar{y}-filter,\;and\;\bar{z}-filter$. Because the $\bar{x}-function$ has two transmission bands, two $\bar{x}-filters$ are designed to cover the $\bar{x}-function$. To design the filters, we developed a nonlinear least square fit program which determines the thickness of the color glasses by minimizing its spectral mismatch value ($f{_1}'$) to below 3 %. The design has been validated by fabrication of the $\bar{y}-bar$ filter, of which $f{_1}'$ was measured to be 2.8 %. Considering a LCD flat panel display as a device under test, we have calculated the systematic error of the colorimetric measurement using the designed filters.

Today, AI image creation programs are optimized for various and specialized purposes such as fashion product advertising, customized fashion style suggestions, and design development, and are actively utilized in the fashion industry. Meanwhile, color is a powerful formative element and plays an important role in expressing images for suggesting products or fashion styles. This study seeks to expand understanding of the use of Midjourney by identifying the characteristics of color combinations that appear in clothing images created using Midjourney among AI image creation tools. The results of this study are as follows. First, the initial image created in Midjourney reflects the existing image color used to create the image more than the color specified in the command. Second, the color combinations that appear in the clothes of the images created in Midjourney are divided into separate and mixed colors. The ratio of colors expressed in a separate color scheme is affected by the color order specified in the command. The number of colors combined in a mixed color scheme appears as a combination of fewer colors than the total number of colors of clothing in the existing image used to create the image in Midjourney and the number of colors specified in the command. Third, caution is needed because changes in background color can affect the user's color perception of the clothes in the image and the formation of the costume image. It is hoped that the results of this study will be helpful in fashion design education and practice.
The research of science and engineering needs the latest information from internet resources. But it is a complex and repeated procedure to search and filter web documents from the huge Internet resources. In this paper, we propose the PREA system, which can organize the research paper databases and search World Wide Web documents that the user is interested in. It observes the usage of the local Paper databases and presented web documents and then constructs a profile intelligently. However, to make a profile, we used the modified spreading activation network(MSAN) so that the PREA can search and filter web documents by semantic meaning of user's interest in realtime. The system constructed in multi-agents manner that can cooperate together effectively. The results show the effectiveness of our system to search web documents compared with a commercial search engine.

LED illumination has been developed from simple illumination to human oriented multi-functional system depending on the IT convergence trends. Thus, the convergence of IT technology such as various types of sensor and communication functions with application software can make saving of energy, and there are also several needs about the tailor-made illuminations requirements for the diverse users who want to take their own colors, strengths of the light. For the adaption of these kinds of intelligent system illumination, user oriented sensor and control should be possible. The LED lighting control system transmits and receives data via the Bluetooth mesh network and provides functions such as LED lighting control, LED lighting condition monitoring, energy usage monitoring, and energy peak point management. Therefore, in this paper, we suggest wireless communication platform and control system for the LED illumination control. We can expect life extension of LED illumination, and energy saving through this suggested system.
This research aims to understand the precise character of relics based on literature search and material analysis of the jade excavated from the first buried place of King Jung-jo, and to assess the level of damage through non-destructive diagnosis. Furthermore, scientific conservation treatment was used to restore the original shape of the excavated jade. According to literature search, the excavated jade is known to be jasper, but material analysis showed that it was as a serpentine with the mineral composition of antigorite. Infrared thermography analysis to assess deterioration showed that the internal damage is the result of the interstices developed along the boundary surface of the obtained jade. For conservation treatment of the damaged area on the surface, the jade was filled with a mixture of plaster and glue, and covered with a mixture of acrylic paint and gloss medium for protection, and color was adjusted.
'Clean beauty' attracts attention with an increasing interest in cosmetics without harmful ingredients as people wear masks in the age of COVID-19. Thus, this study selected and analyzed clean beauty cosmetic brands circulated in Korea on/offline in 2020. This study extracted 36 clean beauty brands and selected 20 suitable brands through an experts' analysis. For an analysis of clean beauty cosmetic brand communication, components: naming, logo, color, package, and website were drawn to conduct a survey. Preferred were the words they come up with when they think of nature or health for naming; wordmarks in a simple form for logo; greenish or yellowish for color; the simple form aligned center on the container body for package; and the images of plants, animals, and humans for website. To sum up the components, utilizing natural, clean, and light images harmoniously, acted as a factor for preferring the clean beauty cosmetic brands.

The composite resin, due to its esthetic quality, is considered the material of choice for restoration of anterior teeth. To get a satisfactory result in the composite resin restorations, it is necessary to choose right shade. At present, most of the commercial composite resins are based on the Vita Lumin shade guides or shade guides that are provided by their company, but color differences among them might be expected even using the same shade in various materials. This study is to measure color differences between various light-cured composite resins and shade guides and to provide the clinicians with information which may aid in improved color match of esthetic restoration. Four kinds of light-cured composite resins (Gradia Direct (GD), Z250 (Z250), Clearfil AP-X (AP-X), Esthet X (E X)) and shade guides with A2 and A3 shade were used. Three specimens of each material and one specimen of each shade guide were made. Each composite resin was filled into the Teflon mold (1.35 mm depth, 8 mm diameter), followed by compression, polymerization and polishing with wet sandpaper. Shade guides were grinded with polishing stones and rubber points to a thickness of approximately 1.35 mm. Color characteristics were performed with a spectrophotometer(color i5, GretagMacbeth, USA). A computer-controlled spectrophotometer was used to determine CIELAB coordinates ($L^*$, $a^*$, $b^*$) of each specimen and shade guide. The CIELAB measurements made it possible to evaluate the amount of the color difference values (${\Delta}E^*ab$) between composite resins and shade guides. CIE standard D65 was used as the light source. The results were as follows : 1. Among the $L^*$, $a^*$, $b^*$ values of most of 4 kinds of composite resin specimens which are produced by same shade, there were significant differences(p<0.05). 2. Among all 4 kinds of composite resin specimens which are produced by same shade, there were color differences that is perceptible to human eye(${\Delta}E^*>3.3$). 3. Between most of composite resin specimens investigated and their corresponding shade guides, there were color differences that is perceptible to human eye(${\Delta}E^*>3.3$). 4. In the clinical environment, it is recommended that custom shade guides be made from resin material itself for better color matching. Shade guides supplied by manufacturers or Vita Lumin shade guide may not provide clinicians a accurate standard in matching color of composite resins, and there are perceptible color differences in most of products. Therefore, it is recommended that custom shade guides be made from resin material itself and used for better color matching.
This study was conducted to provide exportation strategy by surveying on preference of Japanese consumers on cut chrysanthemum exported. The survey was conducted two times by a local survey company in Japan, and the surveys were conducted largely on chrysanthemums for casual flowers and the altar. After departmentalizing Japanese consumers per groups the result were analyzed through conjoint and cluster methods, flower colors and shape were used relatively higher rate for selection criteria of flowers in every group in the case of casual flowers. Group 1 comprised of 60 year-old housewives who reside in a small city with high school diploma and annual income less than 300 million yen, and group 2 of 40 year-old housewives who are small city residents with high school diplomas and annual income of 300 million yen show higher rate of use in flower shape than colors. Another group 3 whose members are 50 year-old housewives, small city residents with high school diplomas and annual income of 600 million yen showed higher rate of use colors than the shape for selection criteria of flowers. The consumption characteristics according to the ages of the consumers showed a pronounced tendency. The 40-50 year-old housewives preferred single flowers packed with other flowers, and the 60 year-old housewives double flowers packed with only chrysanthemums. In flower color, the 50-60 year-old housewives preferred white and yellow flowers, and the 40 year-old housewives pink and yellow flowers. Therefore, there are needs for development strategy of new products considering the consumption characteristics of flower shape and color according to the ages of consumer. After analyzing the chrysanthemums for altar by departmentalization of Japanese consumers, every group showed relative higher rate of use for flower shape for selection criteria of flowers. According to the analysis on the consumption characteristics, group 1 which is comprised of 30-40 year-old housewives who reside in small city with high school diplomas and income less than 300 million yen, and the group 2 of 20 year-old housewives who reside in small city with college diplomas and annual income less than 300 million yen. They are very sensitive to the price of the products while the group 3 of 50 year-old housewives who reside in small city with high school diplomas and annual income less than 300 million yen are insensitive to the price. The 30-50 year-old housewives preferred white and pink flowers, and the 20 year-old housewives yellow and pink flowers. In flower shape, the 50 year-old housewives preferred anemone shape, the 30-40 year-old housewives double shape, and the 20 year-old housewives pompon shapes. Therefore, the white, double flowers for the 30-40 year-old housewives and the yellow, pompon flowers for the 20 year-old housewives are needed to be created at the lowest cost, while the white, anemone flowers are needed to created at higher cost with high quality. In light of these results, it is considered that we should understand the types of purchasing products through consumption characteristics of Japanese consumers. Also we should plan, create market-oriented and consumer-oriented products, and should export them in order to expand more exportation.
