Analysis on Co-use Parameter in TV Band Using a Transmisssion Probability Concept of Interfering Transmitter (간섭 송신기의 전송확률 개념을 이용한 방송대역 공용 파라미터 분석)

  • Analysis on co-use parameters in TV frequency channels is essential to utilize a TV White Space(TVWS) efficiently. A transmission probability of interfering transmitter can be used as some criteria for performance evaluation of the systems that co-use the cochannels. We considered a duty cycle as a parameter for getting the method how heterogeneous systems can use simultaneously a co-channel in TVWS. We analyze the transmission probability of interfering transmitter with an assumption that the probability is the same as the duty cycle, a time that it spends in an active state as a fraction of the total under consideration. In order to make an analysis of relationship between duty cycle and performances of two systems. We take into consideration on the case that WLAN is an victim receiver and WiBro is a interfering transmitter. Analyzed coexistence results may be widely applied into the technique developed to get the coexisting condition for wireless devices using many communication protocols in same frequency.

A Study on The Interference between Global Navigation Satellite Systems (위성항법 시스템 간 간섭 영향에 관한 연구)

  • To design a new Navigation Satellite System signal, we should analyze the influence of inter-system interference to existing Global Navigation Satellite Systems(GNSS). Various GNSS systems such as GSP, GALILEO, Compass use same frequence band and incur inter-system interference due to the overlapping spectrums. In this paper, we consider L2 Band for new Navigation Satellite System and propose the BOCcos(15,2.5) signal what has least Spectral Separation Coefficient with GPS L2 system. Assuming 4 stationary satellite over Korea, we simulate the effect of interference. As a result, proposed system shows very small mutual interference effect and negligible effective signal to noise ratio(SNR) loss, compared to the interferences between GNSS systems in L1 Band.

  • Telemetry ground station use very high gain directional antenna systems that are sensitive to interference from other RF communication systems, Without appropriate interference protection, these systems could be severely impacted or even rendered useless for mission support. In ECC, we suggested ans interference analysis method between LTE-TDD system and telemetry ground station using 2.3GHz. In this paper, based on the interference analysis scenario considered in Electronic Communication Committee, We have derived mutual coexistence separation distance between telemetry ground station and LTE-TDD system(Base station, User equipment) in Spatial domain.

  • The hydrodynamic interaction effects between the multi-bodies can not be neglected when vessels are close to each other in congested and confined waters, such as in a harbour or narrow channel. Increase in speed and size of modern vessels make it necessary to consider this interaction effects when designing harbours and navigation channels. In this research, the hydrodynamic interaction effects of the spacing between vessels and water depth along with ship's velocity are summarized and discussed. The goal of this research is to propose a guideline of appropriate speed and distance between passing and moored vessels to avoid the influence of hydrodynamic forces and to navigate safely in confined sea areas.

  • 최근 TV 디지털 방송에 대한 많은 관심이 집중되면서 국내의 디지털 텔레비전 방송(Digital Multimedia Broadcasting: DMB)과 유럽의 디지털 텔레비전 방송((Digital Video Broadcasting: DVB)에 대한 기술 개발이 지속적으로 이루어지고 있다. 국내의 DMB는 지상파 DMB와 위성 DMB가 있고, 유럽의 DVB는 일반 방송국으로부터 가정용 또는 사무실용의 고정된 장치에서 수신을 하는 DVB-T와, 휴대 전화기나 휴대용 영상기기 등의 저전력, 이동성, 휴대성을 고려한 DVB-H가 있다. 또한 휴대폰이나 PDA와 같은 휴대 통신단말기의 기능복합화 요구에 따라, 국내에서는 휴대폰에 TV 방송기능과 인터넷을 이용할 수 있는 네트워크 서비스가 내장된 단말기가 속속 출시되어 치열한 경쟁구도에 접어들고 있다. 이러한 시장요구에 부응하기 위해 다양한 분야에서 기능 복합화를 실현하고자 하는 " Ubiquitous Convergence화"가 급속도로 진행되고 있다. 그러나 단일 시스템에서 2가지 이상의 기능(GSM/GPRS & DVB-H)이 Convergence화 되어있을 경우, 시스템 상호간 간섭영향으로 각 장치의 기능 저하가 발생하고 있다. 특히, 동일 주파수대역 사용에 의해 방생하는 간섭영향에 대한 적절한 대응이 요구되는 시점이다. 본 고에서는 무선 통신 분야 기술개발의 한 부분으로 부품의 초소형화 및 동일 주파수대역 사용에 의해 발생하는 간섭영향을 제거하는 내용에 대해서 기술한다.

  • 본 연구에서는 미소 결함주위에서 발생, 전파하는 균열들에 미치는 초기 결함 깊이와 상호 간섭 영향을 검토하기 위하여 기존 재료가 갖고 있는 결함이나 비금속 개 재물로 대신할 수 있다고 생각되는 미소 원공의 크기를 변화시킨 모델에 대해 유한 요 소법을 이용하여 3차원적으로 응력을 해석하였다. 실제 사용하고 있는 부재에 결함 들이 존재할 경우 응력장의 간섭으로 피로 균열 진전이 가속화됨으로 미소 원공 주위 의 응력 분포 및 미소 원공사이의 응력장의 간섭과 미소 원공에서 발생, 전파하는 표 면 균열의 응력 확대 계수에 미치는 영향에 대하여 비교검토 하였다.

  • An experiment on the phase stability of injection-locked beam is done by using AlGaAs semiconductor lasers. The coherence of two beams from the master and slave lasers is measured by interference between the beams in the Twymann-Green interferometer. The phase change of the output beam of the slave laser as a function of the driving current is measured in the Mach-Zehnder interferometer consisted of the master and slave lasers and a value of 2.5radlmA is obtainccl.

  • Two type interference air refractometers have been developed by using a frequency stabilized He-Ne laser in a transverse magnetic field. The refractometers were based on symmetric multiple pass interferometer. In this system, One part of the beams passed through air whose refractivity is to be measured and the other part of the beams passed through a vacuum champer to be used as a reference. Several measurements were performed under normal air condition. Maximum difference between two interference refractometers was ${\pm}2{\times}10^{-8}$.

  • In military applications, many radar systems are simultaneously operated at a close range. In particular, the frequency allocation must be executed for operating the homogeneous radar systems at the same time. As many radar systems are simultaneously operated with overlapping frequency bands, interference between systems inevitably occurs. Because interference can degrade radar performance, suppression of interference is a critical issue in radar systems. In this letter, we analyze the interference between two FMCW radars. In addition, time synchronization method between radars using mutual interference is proposed. Experiments are carried out to validate the proposed method. The results demonstrate that the proposed method is suitable for real radar systems.

  • This article considers a model of cooperative spectrum sharing between primary and secondary systems in which transmission occurs in two phases. In this scheme, we introduce that a single secondary transmitter, ST, employs a quadrature-phase-based signal to present the secondary message, while the primary message is presented by an in-phase-based signal. This allows simultaneous spectrum sharing without mutual interference. Therefore, an interference constraint is not necessary to protect primary operating performance from being degraded by the secondary user operations. Theoretical analysis and Simulations are then provided to confirm the superiority of the proposed scheme over the the current conventional methods.
