An Evaluation of Occupant Injury Severity Based on Distance Detection Range of AEB in a Real Accident (실사고에서 AEB의 거리감지범위에 따른 승객 상해 심각도 분석)

  • AEB (Autonomous Emergency Braking system), a system in which vehicles automatically recognize forward objects or pedestrians and actively brake when forward collisions are expected, has been mandated by NHTSA (National Highway Traffic Safety Administration) and IIHS (Insurance Institute for Highway Safety) for all vehicles sell in the United States since 2022, and AEB research is also actively underway in korea. In this study, it can be confirmed that the passenger injury is reduced according to the AEB detection distance when it is assumed that the AEB is mounted in the actual event generated from KIDAS (Korea New Car Assessment Program) data through various analysis programs.

  • In this study, we tried to propose a selection method of release scenarios and a method of consequence analysis at a gas explosion by pipe release. Thus, release rates, damage areas of the facilities, and fatality areas were estimated and analyzed at various release conditions(temperature, pressure, release material, etc). As a results, we could conclude that the rupture was the worst case of release scenarios, and at release rates and damage areas were better estimated by the weighted average method considering a generic failure frequency of the release hole than by an arbitrary selection of the release hole.

  • 인체 머리부분의 충격력이 가했을 때 어떠한 상해가 발생할 것인가에 대하여 수치해석적인 접 근을 시도하였다. 복잡한 생체구조의 단순화, 비선형적인 재료 특성으로 인하여 해석 결과는 정 량적인 정확성보다 정성적인 경향성에 보다 큰 의미가 있다고 할 수 있으며, 앞으로 개선할 여 지가 많다고 할 수 있다. 또 의학적인 부분에 관한 기초지식이 필요하기 때문에 의학계의 조건 또는 의학계와의 공동 연구가 요망된다고 하겠다. 해석 결돠의 검증은 과거에는 주로 사체 및 동물 심험에 의하여 행해졌으나 현재에는 사체 실함이 금지되어 있고, 동물(원숭이, 개, 돼지 등 )을 이용한 실험도 동물 보호단체의 반발로 여의치 않은 형편이다. 현재는 교통사고 등에서의 사체 부검 및 사고 상황의 역추적에 의해 생체 실함을 대신할 데이터가 마련되고 있으나, 정확한 사고 상황을 파악하는 것 자체가 또한 어려운 작업이다. 그래서 각 나라에서 일부분씩 가지고 있는 생체에 대한 데이터를 모아 전세계적인 데이터 베이스를 만들어 공유하려는 작업이 진행 되고 있다. 이렇게 실험이 불가능하거나 어려운 상황하에서는 수치 시뮬레이션이 주요한 해석 수단이 될 수 있을 것이라 생각된다.

  • In the study of traffic safety, the analysis on factors affecting crash severity and the understanding about their relationship is important to be planning and execute to improve safety of road and traffic facilities. The purpose of this study is to develop a hierarchical binomial logistic model to identify the significant factors affecting fatal injuries and vehicle damages of traffic crashes on freeway. Two models on death and total vehicle damage are developed. The hierarchical structure of response variable is composed of two level, crash-occupant and crash-vehicle. As a result, we have gotten the crash-level random effect from these hierarchical structure as well as the fixed effect of covariates, namely odds ratio. The crash on the main line and in-out section have greater damage than other facilities. Injuries and vehicle damages are severe in case of traffic violations, centerline invasion and speeding. Also, collision crash and fire occurrence is more severe damaged than other crash types. The surrounding environment of surface conditions by climate and visibility conditions by day and night is a significant factor on crash occurrence. On the orher hand, the geometric condition of road isn't.

  • The development of transportation methods has improved human transportation convenience and made it possible to expand the travel radius of people with disabilities who have difficulty moving. However, in the case of WAV (wheelchair Accessible Vehicle), the safety that may occur in a vehicle accident is still lower than that of regular passenger seats. In particular, in the case of a rear-end collision that may occur in a defenseless situation, it can cause fatal neck injuries to disabled passengers. Therefore, a more detailed design plan must be reflected in the headrest to be applied to WAV. In this study, a multi-cell headrest was proposed to implement local compression characteristic distribution of the headrest during rear-end collision of WAV. Afterwards, a correlation analysis was performed between the passenger's NIC (Neck Injury Criterion) and impact energy absorption using the data set construction through analysis and the clustering results using k-means clustering. As a result of clustering, it was confirmed that data clusters with similar characteristics were formed, and a correlation analysis between NIC and impact energy absorption through the characteristics of each cluster was performed. As a result of the analysis, it was confirmed that the softer the cell compression characteristics in Mid3 and Mid6, the more impact energy absorption increases, and the harder the cell compression characteristics in Front2, Mid3, and Mid6, the more effective it is in reducing NIC.

교통량에 따른 배기가스량 산정에 관한 연구 -교차로를 중심으로-

  • 현재 서울은 교통사고문제, 교통혼잡문제와 자동차로부터 배출되는 유해가스에 의한 대기환경오염문제를 갖고 있다. 본 논문의 목적은 대기환경오염을 악화시키는 자동차의 주된 배출오염가스인 일산화탄소, 탄화수소 및 질소화합물량을 교차로 교통량을 중심으로 어떻게 계산하는가에 있다. 연구의 대상지역은 서울시의 송파구 교차로들과 도심지역의 링크들을 선택하였다. 그리고 교통량, 지체시간, 링크길이, 정지회수, 운행속도, 주행속도 등을 고려하여, 제작차 배출가스 허용기준, 총량기준, 불량차 기준, 속도기준 등에 의한 계수산정 및 TRAF-NETSIM에 의한 시뮬레이션을 통하여 일정 도로상의 제한된 범위내의 배출량 산출을 시도하였다. 본 연구의 결과에 의하면 첫째, 어느 방법이든 실제배출량의 정확한 값을 표현 할 수는 없는 것이고, 단지 상대적인 비교에 의하면 배출가스량의 수준을 추정 할 수 있었다. 또한, 시뮬레이션 배출율표를 우리 현실에 맞는 자료에 의해 수정할 수 있다면, 그 결과는 실제량에 보다 근접할 수 있을 것이다. 둘째, 서울도로의 현재 혼잡상태에서 속도의 저감에 배출량이 민감한 반응을 보이고 있다는 사실이다. 셋째, 교통량변화에 따른 배출량의 변화가 일산화탄소에서 가장 심하게 나타남을 알 수 있었고, 신호운영상의 옵셋값이 잘못 설정되면 탄화수소는 35%, 일산화탄소는 40%, 질소산화물은 75%까지 초과발생할 수 있으며, 유해배출가스량을 최소화시키는 측면에서의 신호최적화를 위해서는 현재의 Stop Penalty는 상향 조정되어야 함이 밝혀졌다. 앞으로는 자동차로 인한 대기환경오염 농도의 저감을 위해서는 도로별 자동차 유해가스 배출 총량규제 방안도 고려해 볼 가치가 있으며, 이를 위해 환경공학과 교통공학의 다학제적 공동연구가 지속적으로 필요하며 교통정책에 반영되어야 할 것이다.분석, 리용수 학모형대이십일세기상해항공운량진행예측, 제출발전상해항공운수적전 략목표급발전중점. 예측2020년 상해항공항총객운탄토량4300만인/년, 화운량달120만돈; 2050년객운량장달18150만인차/년, 화운량518만돈. 사, 발전상해민항기출경제정책, 제출위료$\ll$진흥상해, 개발포동, 복무전국, 면향세계$\gg$ 화도이십일세기중기국민경제달도중등발달국가수 평굉관전략목표적실현, 제료필수재지도사상상파교통운수진정방도전략 산업지위, 환응재관리체제상채취과단유효적개혁조시, 재기출경제정책 상급여대력부지. 오, 전략목표, 위파상해건설성위태평양서안최대적경제, 김융, 무역적중심, 요구상해항공항성위화동지구통향세계각지항선망출발참, 구성대외개방선면축심, 실현국제항선적함접화국내항반적전항, 형성다축심복사식항선망; 가강기장건설, 개피포동제이국제기장건설, 괄응포동개발경제발전적수요. 부화개시일은 각 5월 26일과 5월 22일이었다. 11. 6월 중순에 애벌레를 대상으로 처리한 Phenthoate EC가 96.38%의 방제가로 약효가 가장 우수하였고 3월중순 및 4월중순 월동후 암컷을 대상으로 처리한 Machine oil, Phenthoate EC 및 Trichlorfon WP는 비교적 약효가 낮았다.>$^{\circ}$E/$\leq$30$^{\circ}$NW 단열군이 연구지역 내에서 지하수 유동성이 가장 높은 단열군으로 추정된다. 이러한 사실은 3개 시추공을 대상으로 실시한 시추공 내 물리검층과 정압주입시험에서도 확인된다.. A Study on the Behavior of Safety Accidents in Theme Parks (테마파크에서의 안전사고 발생행태에 관한 연구)

  • Purpose: This study aims to investigate and analyze the status, form and the cause of accidents that occur in theme parks. Method: For the study, we investigated safety accidents of overseas theme parks that were reported to the media using newspaper search program. It also analyzed 710 safety accidents that were collected by the Korea Consumer Agency (KCA), Korea Association of Amusement Parks & Attraction (KAAPA) etc. Results: Overseas theme parks reported by the media have been occurred 40 to 60 times every year. According to the survey data alone, there are 87 safety accidents annually in domestic theme parks, and there are certain patterns in the types of accidents and injuries. Conclusion: This study intends to identify the types and causes of various safety accidents that occur in theme parks, and establish and implement effective safety accident prevention measures.

  • The loss of life and property due to accidents in the research facilities or the laboratories of the university occurs steadily and the necessity of laboratory accident prevention is proposed. Above all, the main work to laboratory accident prevention is a systematic analysis of laboratories accidents. Analyzing reports or researches on industrial accidents in Korea had been carried out but these researches or reports did not based on laboratory accidents analysis. To the establishment of the accident prevention countermeasure in laboratory, a questionnaire sheet has been developed in this study. The questionnaires to survey the accident cases were gathered by electronic mail and visit survey from the laboratories and universities. The data of accident cases from the questionnaires was analyzed and discussed on accident distribution by season, the type of accident classification, the type of occurrence, the objects that caused the accident and laboratory accident by the damage incurred etc.. These results of this study can be used as basic data to the safety security and laboratory accident prevention of the laboratory worker.

Study of water drowning death patients on clinical care and prevention (수중익사 사망 환자의 임상 치료 및 예방에 대한 연구)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate drowning death patients on clinical care and prevention. Drowning accidents that occurred in the Republic of Korea were identified by using the Emergency Activity Daily Report Data from the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA). The age of drowning accidents was 20-29 years (25.4%). Drowning cases for the months of August was 17.6%. The main circumstance involved in the drowning cases was swimming (45.0%). Half of swimming incidents related the drowning accidents of people attempting to save a life of a family member or friend from the water. The most common location was at a lake or reservoir (40.2%). Drowning is a main cause of accidents in the Republic of Korea. Preventive strategies that may be beneficial for persons contain life jackets or life rings supply, upgrading swimming ability, placing lifeguards based on public education activities.

  • 최근 어린이 보호구역 내에서의 운전자의 부주의로 사망 혹은 상해 사고를 일으킨 가해자를 가중 처벌하는 내용의 '민식이법'이 발의됨에 따라 많은 운전자들이 보호구역을 주행할 때 많은 부담감을 느끼며, 이에 대한 운전자의 부담감과 사고 피해를 최소화할 수 있는 시스템이 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 OpenCV 영상인식기술과 OCR 문자인식기술인 Tesseract를 이용해 노약자 보호구역 표지판을 인식하여 법정 제한속도를 준수하며 갑작스러운 장애물 등장 시 급정거하여 사고피해를 최소화하고, 또한, 사용자에게 알람 메시지를 전송하는 시스템을 제안한다.
