This study is to understand the psychosocial experience in 'Cheonan Warship Incident Survivors'. The study question was how psychosocial experience in The Union of Family Bereaved by Cheonan Warship had been progressed. To answer this question 4 representers ofthe group and 2 reporters had been interviewed using a qualitative research method based on Phenomenology method. From this study the group's experience in had been revealed that they first crisis intervention are to identify and reinforce the strengths and coping skills of a one's family. Second, they gathered their opinion together and assigned the roles to the members, and then, requested what they want responding reasonably. The families' love, the representers' quick judgements and decisions, and the embarrassment of the military and media for the dead, who had been abandoned for long and decayed under the cold ocean, made the national support and respectful treatment possible for the dead and the family. The results of study will be applicable for individuals and groups, who need social work service as an empowerment intervention approach and crisis intervention are to identify and reinforce the strengths and coping skills of a one's family. The social worker's ability to anticipate, understand, and give therapeutic direction to the crisis reaction and the concerns of family members helps to bring around a successful crisis resolution. It is clear to us that wars, suicides, homicides in school settings, disaster and other events are providing unique challenges to social workers who are interested in learning more about the effects such events have on victims of traumatic events.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of a practiced aquatic exercise program on the body function of obese women in the community, with knowledge of obesity preceded by obesity management education. The subjects were 20 obese women aged 51 to 79 who participated in the program for 8 weeks among the participants of health program in S healthcare center in D city. The aquatic exercise program, which includes obesity management training, consists of a total of 110 minutes, including twice a week, 20 minutes of obesity management training, and 60 minutes of aquatic exercise program. Obesity management education focuses on physical activity practice and dietary training. The results of this study showed that the aquatic exercise program including the 8 - week obesity management training decreased abdominal circumference, body weight and body mass index (p <.001, p <.001, p <.001),increased grip strength(P <.05), which is an effective program for reducing obesity and improving muscle power. In the follow-up study, it is necessary to increase the number of subjects and to develop the experimental design study with the control group and the participatory obesity management underwater exercise program that the participant directly participates and leads. It also suggests that additional strategies for continuous lifestyle improvement are needed.

The Solar and Space Environment Division of the Korean Space Science Society investigated the use and possession of ground and satellite observations and models of solar and planetary data operated by domestic research institutes and universities. Based on the findings, we would like to introduce observational instruments, data, and models in solar and interplanetary fields in this paper to improve understanding and use of each data and explore opportunities for interdisciplinary research. The ground and satellite observations, which require a lot of investment, were mainly held by research institutes (National Meteorological Satellite Center, Polar Research Institute, Korean Space Weather, Korea Astronomy and Space Science Institute and KAIST Satellite Research Institute), and model development was overwhelmingly carried out at Kyung Hee University. In solar and interplanetary fields, we introduce Fast Imaging Solar Spectrograph (FISS), neutron monitors, and the analysis models [for the Solar Dynamics Observatory/Atmospheric Imaging Assembly (SDO/AIA) and Hinode/X-Ray Telescope (XRT) observations] in nonequilibrium ionization state as representatives. Survey on solar and interplanetary fields can be downloaded from the website of the Korean Space Science Society (http://ksss.or.kr/). The paper makes know the importance of long-term and continuous management of space science-related materials, and hopes to contribute to enhancing the status of domestic space science data by utilizing locally produced data by various personnel participating in space science research.

The purpose of this study is to identify what factors actually affect the turnover intentions of social workers. It is an important task to grasp the factors of turnover of the social worker through empirical analysis because the high turnover rate of social welfare workers in Korea has a negative influence on their organization and ultimately impedes the stable delivery of social welfare services. This study used the results of analyzing 100 social workers in social service companies. In fact, the data used in this study were statistically analyzed only for 82 subjects, except for 18 subjects who did not respond to the variables used. As a result, the general effects of job stress on job turnover and job exhaustion were examined as much as possible. We examined the effect of job stress, an independent variable, on the turnover and exhaustion of social workers. Specifically, job stress was divided into role, organizational, and relationship, and it was found that role - related factor job stress only affected social workers' turnover intention significantly. In addition, the relationship-related affected the exhaustion of the social worker. Therefore, in order to reduce the exhaustion of the social worker, the desirable direction to reduce the stress of the relationship-related factor should be sought.
This study was to examine the differential impacts of social experiences and conditions on health among men and women aged 65 years or older, using data of the "2004 Survey on living Status of the Korean Elderly". The outcome variables were any disability, self-rated health, multiple morbidity, and self-rated quality of life. Multiple Classification Analysis was used to test the differential exposure to social factors contributes to gender difference in health. Gender differences in vulnerability of each individual socioeconomic, psycho-social, and behavioral factors for health were assessed by comparing logit coefficients in men and women. I found that gender difference in exposure to social factors contribute to inequalities in health between older men and women, however, gender inequalities remained after controlling for differential exposure except in case of quality of life. In addition, gender differences in health were further explained by differential vulnerabilities to social factors between men and women. Findings of this study may affirm the importance of further and deeper investigation of gender differences in health in later life. Gender sensitive approach in health planning and polices for the elderly is also suggested.
The purpose of this study was to find out correlation and predictors of posttraumatic growth of North Korean refugees in South Korea in 7years. This survey was conducted on 105 North Korean refugees in 7 years with questions on socio-demographic characteristics, personal & social variables, psychological trauma in North Korea and stress experience in South Korea. The influence of these variables was analysed. Result indicated that hope for future, perceived satisfaction, and acculturative stress had influence on the total quality of life in the South. And total quality of life affected PTG, especially emotional factors of quality of life during the early 3years living in the South affected PTG.. Additionally not only emotional but also social factors of quality of life also affected PTG with North Korean refugees in the South in 7 years. Finally, social and mental health service programs for North Krean refugees was discussed.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the students' perception of the learning support system of Korea Science Academy and to propose improvements to it. The impact of the science learning support system on 129 gifted students in Korea Science Academy (KSA) was estimated by using Likert-type items and the multiple-choice method approach for more comprehensive evaluation. The results of our investigation are as follows: First, the learning support system of KSA appears globally useful to the students. The list of educational usefulness to the students comprises, in the decreasing order of utility, classroom work, Internet, lab activities, reading rooms, library, research meetings and clubs, academic advisors (AA), SAF (Science Academy Fair), e-learning system, and finally colloquia by invited lecturers. Second, what the gifted students hope for in the realm of learning support from KSA are learning guides by subject teachers, presentation skill program, the constructions of on/off-line learning communities, etc. It seems that the results of this study would be helpful in improving the learning support system, and will provide useful information for planning the direction of future science-gifted education programs at the high-school level.
The core thought of Confucius("論語") is 'Ren(仁)'. Then, how ought we to interpret this 'Ren(仁)'? In this study, the researcher has interpreted 'Ren(仁)' from the perspective of Xiujizhiren(修己治人), which is the doctrine of Confucianism and its ideal. At first, the researcher closely reviewed Ren(仁) on the viewpoint of Xiuyang (修養). Ren(仁) is the most fundamental virtue that enables general populace to equip with their qualification as a human being. Specifically, to live like a human being, Ren(仁) is a must. That is to say, it will suffice if we only can expose well what was already cherished inside us, rather than exerting efforts to attain Ren(仁), in some contexts, that must achieve in order to live like a human being. The reason that we exert our efforts for self-cultivation is to bring this Ren(仁), which is foundation of human life, before the public. Even in relationship-building, Ren(仁) is necessary. Human being is not an existence that can live alone, but at all times, humans are required to build a relationship with others. To make this relationship-building lead into right direction, we need to think of that the standpoint of oneself and the other are identical. That is, when I myself and the other person are in the most optimal situation, then a right relationship-building can take place. This most optimal status is Ren(仁). The ideal of Confucianism is to establish a society where all people can enjoy their comfortable life. To accomplish such a society, each individual and society ought to be benevolent and to cherish humanity at the first place. That is to say, people should attain Ren(仁) from both aspects of Xiuji(修己) and Zhiren (治人). If Ren(仁) has not been attained from any of either side, then it is hard to say that the ideal of Confucianism is completely realized. However, Zhiren(治人) must be backed up by Xiuji(修己). For this reason, Kongzi(孔子) presented three steps in connection with this cultivation process, to wit, 'Cultivation of himself in reverential carefulness'(修己以敬) ${\rightarrow}$ 'Cultivation of himself so as to give rest to others'(修己以安人) ${\rightarrow}$ 'Cultivation of himself so as to give rest to all the people'(修己以安百姓). It is noticeable that Xiuji(修己) is included in all three phases. The society that Kongzi(孔子) longed for is still valid in this modern world. Therefore, Ren(仁) which was edified by Kongzi(孔子) is necessary for today's society. If we don't interpret Ren(仁) as with a fixed term lying stagnant in one place, then its definition shall be interpreted newly so as to suit the times and the situation of civil society, thus this Ren(仁) shall be the foundation for building a desirable society for humans.

The purposes of this study were to: a) provide evidence concerning the effects of emotional intelligence on job outcomes, b) examine the impacts of emotional intelligence on employee-related variables such as 'job satisfaction', 'organizational commitment', 'organizational performance', and 'turnover intention' c) identify the conceptual framework underlying emotional intelligence. A survey was conducted to collect data from foodservice managers (N=231). Statistical analyses were completed using SPSS Win (16.0) for descriptive analysis, reliability analysis, factor analysis, t-test, correlation analysis, cluster analysis and AMOS (16.0) for confirmatory factor analysis and structural equation modeling. The concept of emotional intelligence (EI) has been on the radar screens of many leaders and managers over the last several decades. The emotional intelligence is generally accepted to be a combination of emotional and interpersonal competencies that influence behavior, thinking and interaction with others. The main results of this study were as follows. The four EI (Emotional Intelligence) dimensions correlated significantly with age. The means of job satisfaction score were above the midpoint (3.04 point) scale. The organizational commitment score was above the midpoint (3.41 point) scale and was higher at 'loyalty' factor than 'commitment' factor. The means of organizational performance score were above the midpoint (3.34) scale. The correlations among the four EI (emotional intelligence) factors were significant with job satisfaction; organizational commitment, organizational performance and turnover intention. The test of hypothesis using structural equation modeling found that emotional intelligence produced positive effects on job attitude and job performance. Emotional intelligence enhanced organizational commitment, and in turn, managers' attitude produced positive effects on organizational performance; emotional intelligence also had a direct impact on organizational performance. This study has identified the effect of emotional intelligence on organizational performance and attitudes toward one's job.
Objective : This study was done to identify the status of Spiritual Well-Being in Nursing Students and to investigate the correlation between related various characteristics and Spiritual Well-Being and to provide baseline data for ride school-life and development of Spiritual-education program for nursing students. Method : The data was collected from 188 christian Nursing students by using questionary method. they are all all agreed to participate in this study. Their Spiritual Well-Being were measured using Spiritual Well-Being scale developed by Paloutzian & Ellison(1983) and translated by Choi(1990) and reversed by Kang(1996). Results : The data was analyzed by using SPSS/PC+12.0. The summary of results were as follows; 1. The mean score of Spiritual Well-Being were $63.95\pm10.256$(range from 20-80) 2. There were significant differences between the grade(F=6.101, p= .001), type of religion(F= 17.703, p= .000), In Christian, the level of devotee(F=8.194, p= .000), duration of church attendance(F=7.947, p= .000), regular attendance of chapel(F=4.242, p= .000), regular reading(study) of Bible and prayer (F=5.863, p= .001=0). perceived personal encounter with Jesus(F=4.160, p= .000), religion of parent(F=9.320, p= .000), perceived attitude of parenting(F=4.146, p= .000), hope to admit/transfer to other course or not(F=-2.050, p= .050). Conclusion : Our results were valuable to provide basic guidelines for ride school-life and for the development of Spiritual-education program for Nursing students.
