Operational Definition of Components of Logical Thinking in Problem-solving Process on Informatics Subject (정보 교과의 문제해결과정에서 논리적 사고력 구성요소에 대한 조작적 정의)

  • Previous researches on the improvement of logical thinking in Informatics subject have used general logical thinking test and only limited improvement of logical thinking by programming learning result. In this study, the operational definition of the logical thinking in problem-solving process on Informatics education is different from the general logical thinking and the logical thinking of the other subjects. Firstly, we suggested the operational definition of components of logical thinking using the open questionnaire by expert and research team discussion. Also, we suggested the relationship between the operational definition and contents of the 'problem-solving methods and procedure' section in secondary Informatics subject. Finally, this study developed the evaluation contents based on the operational definition of components of logical thinking. The components of logical thinking which was required in problem-solving process on Informatics subject were ordering reasoning, propositional logic, controlling variables, combinatorial logic, proportional reasoning. We suggested the relationship between operational definition and problem-solving process and assessment of logical thinking in problem-solving process on Informatics subject. This paper will give meaningful insight to supply the guideline of the teaching strategy and evaluation methods for improving the logical thinking in Informatics education.

  • 대기질의 통계예측모형은 주로 오존 농도 예측에 사용된다. 통계예측 방법은 중회귀 모형, 신경망 모형, Fuzzy 논리 모형 등이 있다. 중회귀 모형은 종래 통계분석 방법으로 예전부터 많이 사용되고 있는 방법인 반면에 신경망 모형과 Fuzzy 논리 모형은 최근에 개발되어 적용가능성을 검토 중인 방법이다. 국내외 연구결과에 의하면 각 방법에 의한 고농도 오존 예측성은 크게 다르지 않았다. 국내에서는 중회귀 모형과 신경망 모형이 적용되었는데, 상관계수는 0.6-0.7저도로 보고되었다.(중략)

  • The necessity of computer science education has been increased in the society which has been changing rapidly by the development of information science. But most elementary school teachers don't realize its necessity and don't recognize the notion of computational thinking which is the fundamental principle of computer science. In this research, we designed and implemented an algorithm learning program based on computational thinking with using Logo, which was for pre-service elementary school teachers to be able to realize the necessity of computer science education and recognize computational thinking. As the findings analyzed between pre- and post-test, the averages of correlational reasoning, combinatorial reasoning and the sum of overall logical thinking increased significantly. Also, participants' awareness of computer science education and computational thinking changed positively.

  • Boolean functions have an important role for designing block ciphers and hash functions. In this paper, we propose a method for designing optimum correlation immune functions. We also analyze their cryptographic properties - balancedness, nonlinearity, correlation value to the set of linear functions, correlation immunity, propagation characteristic, and algebraic degree. Correlation Analysis among Peer Evaluation, Self-evaluation and Instructor Evaluation on Argumentation Writing in the 'Biology Logic and Essay' ('생물교과논리 및 논술' 에서의 논증글쓰기에 대한 동료평가-자기평가-교수자 평가 간 상관관계 분석)

  • This study analyzed correlation among peer evaluation, self-evaluation, and instructor evaluation of argumentation writing conducted in the 'Biology logic and essay' class. To this end, 14 pre-service biology teachers wrote argumentation four times, and peer evaluation, self-evaluation, and instructor evaluation were conducted on these results. The peer evaluation for argumentation writing averaged 2.70 points, the self-evaluation average was 2.68 points, and the instructor evaluation average was 2.71. Looking at the average of each sub-evaluation area, scientific knowledge was the highest in peer evaluation, and the composition area was the highest in self-evaluation. In addition, the area of scientific knowledge was the highest in the instructor evaluation. As a result of examining the standard deviation, the standard deviation of self-evaluation was the largest. As a result of analyzing the correlation between evaluation types, there was a high correlation between peer evaluation and instructor evaluation, and there was a moderate correlation between self-evaluation and instructor evaluation. On the other hand, there was no significant correlation between peer evaluation and self-evaluation. As a result of analyzing the correlation by evaluation area, there was no significant correlation between peer evaluation and self-evaluation in all four areas of scientific knowledge, scientific argumentation, composition, and expression. On the other hand, in the analysis between peer evaluation and instructor evaluation, there was a significant correlation in the areas of scientific knowledge, scientific argumentation, and composition. In addition, there was a significant correlation between self-evaluation and instructor evaluation only in the area of expression. The results of this study show that peer evaluation is highly likely to be applied in the 'Subject logic and essay' class. It also suggests that it is necessary to subdivide evaluation criteria according to the type of evaluation in order to use peer evaluation and self-evaluation.

다단계 p-cycle Cascade 생성기의 분석

  • Gollmann이 제안한 Cascade 생성기는 비선형성, 발생되는 수열의 난수특성, 주기성등 암호 알고리즘으로서 필요한 제반 특성을 보장하기 때문에 그동안 스트림 암호의 핵심 논리로 널리 사용되어 왔다. 그러나 최근 생성기 내부의 각 단계별로 시각 제어 수열과 출력 수열 사이에 암호 알고리즘으로는 부적당한 상관관계 특성이 존재함이 입증되었다. 본 고에서는 이러한 상관관계 특성을 이용하여,. 단순 순환 쉬프트 래지스터로 구성된 Cascade 생성기에 대한 기지 평문 공격 방식을 제안한다. 기존의 Lock-in effect 공격방식에 대하여 $10^{21}$ 정도의 안전성을 보장하는 8단계 11-cycle Cascade 생성기에 본 방식을 적용한 결과 불과 88,000 출력 비트만을 사용하여 공격이 성공함을 실험적으로 입증하였다.

An Investigation of Fifth and Eighth Grade Korean Students' Misconceptions of Photosynthesis (한국 국민학교 5학년과 중학교 2학년 학생들의 광합성의 대한 오개념 연구)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 광합성과 관련하여 한국 국민학교 5학년과 중학교 2학년 학생들이 갖고 있는 오개념을 조사하고, 학생들의 개념이해 정도, 논리적 사고능력, 그리고 학생배경변수들 사이의 상호관계를 조사하는 것이다. 세가지의 도구들이 이 연구를 위해 개발되었다. 광합성 개념검사 (Photosynthesis Concepts Test)는 광합성과 관련된 개념들의 이해를 평가하기 위해, 삐아제의 논리적 사고력 검사(Piagetian Cogical Reasoning Test)는 PCT에 포함된 3종류의 논리적 사고들, 변인 통제, 조합적 사고력, 상관관계 사고능력을 평가하기 위해, 그리고 실문서는 학생들의 배경변수들에 대한 정보를 얻기 위해 개발되었다. 이 도구들은 20명 의 국민학교 5학년, 239명의 중학교 2학년 학생들에게 시행되었다. 이 연구의 결과는 두집단의 학생들이 "먹이를 만든다"는 의미, 먹이의 정의, 식물에 의한 빛의 사용, 식물 뿌리와 잎의 기능들, 광합성 산물, 그리고 광합성을 위한 조건들과 관련하여 오개념을 갖고 있음을 보여 주었다. 국민학교 5학년과 중학교 2학년 사이의 개념 이해의 향상은 식물에 의한 빛 이용의 본질, 한 체계내에서 생물들간의 물질 교환, 포도당, 지방, 단백질 등에 대한 지식에서 보여졌고, 그래프를 해석하는 능력에서 또한 중학교 2학년 학생들이 앞섰다. 향상을 보인 항목들은 교과서에서 보다 많은 강조점을 두거나 상위의 논리적 사고능력을 요구하는 것들이었다. 희귀분석 결과, 전년도 과학성적과 논리적 사고력이 PCT 성취도에 가장 예견력이 높은 두 변수이며 5학년의 경우 성취도의 약 22%의 변량을, 중2의 경우 성취도의 약 40%의 변량을 설명하였다. 후속연구로서 내용의 추상성, 적절성, 그리고 요구되는 논리적 능력면에서 교수조건의 변형을 통한 오개념의 변화와 감소에 대한 실험적 연구가 제시되었다.

A Study on the Students' Cognition of Chemistry in Science High School by Factor Analysis of Mathematics and Science Achievement (수학·과학 성취도의 요인 분석으로 본 과학고등학교 학생들의 화학 교과에 대한 인식 연구)

  • For effective teaching-learning activities for students with diverse talents in science high schools, it is important for teachers to understand students' individual differences in perceiving and processing information in the natural world, depending on the students' various talents and subject characteristics. The purpose of this study is to examine the students' cognition of chemistry in science high school through correlations and factor analysis of mathematics/science achievement. In addition, this study attempted to examine the cognition of chemistry subject according to R&E classes. The main participants of the study were freshmen of G science high school (296 students) who entered after three times of curriculum reforms and new admission processes and the students in two other science high schools in Gyeongnam and Ulsan were included. The correlation and factor analysis were conducted by exploratory factor analysis by IBM SPSS Statistics 25 programs. The results of this study were as follows: First, in the correlation analysis between mathematics and science achievement, it was confirmed that the Pearson's coefficient of chemistry showed higher positive correlation coefficient than that of other science subjects. Second, in the factor analysis of mathematics and science achievements, it was found that the factor indicators were divided into two factors as logical-mathematical (mathematics and physics) and naturalistic (life science and earth science). Third, in the factor analysis, it was confirmed that the chemistry is recognized as the subject that requires both logical-mathematical and naturalistic intelligence. Finally, it was confirmed that students' cognitions of chemistry subject were found to differ according to the R&E classes. In other words, the participants of R&E chemistry class, unlike other students, were found to recognize chemistry as the subject that logical-mathematical intelligence is needed.

On the Correlation Immune Functions and their Nonlinearity (상관면역 함수와 비선형치)

  • In this paper, we consider the relationship between the nonlinearity and correlation immunity of functions suggested in [1], [3]. For the analysis of such functions, we present a simple method of generating the same set of functions, which makes us possible to construct correlation immune functions with controllable correlation immunity and nonlinearity.
