The purpose of this study was to assess the performance of Korean public libraries based on the national representative sample using Vakkari and Serola's (2012) public library outcome scale. Conducting a web-based survey to 1,000 Korean adults nationwide, the responses of 629 respondents who had visited the public library in the past year were analyzed. Results showed that, among the 19 benefit areas, "reading fiction and non-fiction" was the most perceived benefit area followed by "acquiring educational opportunities", and "self-development during leisure time". The benefits were considerably lowly perceived in the rest 16 areas. Different from the original four-factor structure, "reading/self development" were emerged as a new factor in this Korean sample. The benefits were perceived differently by citizens with different socio-demographic backgrounds. Results informed the current status of the public library performance and values perceived by the general Korean adults population across the nation.

Korea is rapidly becoming an aging society as much as it takes the first place among OECD countries, and as the life expectancy of Korea gradually increases, the proportion of the elders in society increases. Accordingly, the happiness of the elders is contributed to the overall social atmosphere and happiness, however, the lower quality of life of the elders due to physical, psychological and social changes can be developed into social problems such as depression and rising suicide rate. As a result, there is a social interest in improving the quality of life and satisfaction of the elders, and the senior citizen center is receiving renewed attention as a form of welfare facility that can play a pivotal role in the social activities of the elders. In recent years, efforts to improve the environment of the senior citizen center have been made due to the growing role of it, however, there is a controversy over whether the quality of the indoor environment is user-friendly or not due to the limitations of material resources and human resources. It is considered that the quality of the color environment should be improved in the senior citizen center in the way that the color environment is not only an indoor environmental factor which gives high psychological and mental effects to users but also a way to improve the environmental satisfaction at the lowest cost. Previous studies on the facilities related to the elders have been actively carried out, but they were very sporadic and there was very little information about the color environment in the related laws or in the guideline presented by cities. It is necessary to integrate guidelines that are scattered within a comprehensive range without any specific target in order to grasp the current status of the color environment and to properly evaluate it. In addition, considering that the senior citizen center is an important leisure facility for the elders that functions in a residential area with a nationwide network, the results of this study are expected to contribute to the environmental improvement of existing senior citizen center which will be activated in the future by enabling the improvement of psychological satisfaction of the elders.

u-Health is a representative realization method of ubiquitous IT and it is being embossed as an industry that can make our lives abundant. Through the u-Health, the diagnosis will go beyond the restriction of space, which is based on hospital, and be positioned as a universal value in a daily life by combining diagnosis and life naturally. The purpose of this study is to suggest systematic, intelligent, mobile medical information system that has the same effect as the assistant of specialist by providing scientific and objective knowledge, which is suitable for u-Health age. Mobile medical information system can provide user with the opinion of specialist by planting the experience, knowledge and decision making process of specialist that are necessary for solving the problem requiring special medical knowledge and passing through an inference process.

디지털 기술의 급속한 발전으로 시간과 공간의 제약이 없는 인프라 환경이 구현되면서 더욱 더 유연하고 빠른 적응성에 대한 요구가 정치, 경제, 문화 전반에 확산됨에 따라 IT 기술을 통해서 이러한 요구를 충족시킬 수 있는 서비스로 대두되고 있는 것이 바로 클라우드 서비스이다. 이러한 클라우드 서비스 시대의 개막은 관련 기업뿐만 아니라 공공기관, 개인에 이르기까지 모든 영역의 서비스 이용자들의 삶에도 큰 변화를 가져올 것이다. 그러나 클라우드 서비스에 대한 기존의 논의는 주로 사업자의 입장에서 클라우드 비즈니스 모델의 발굴, 수익 모델의 발굴, 클라우드 기술 발전에 따른 전망 등에 초점을 맞추어져 왔다. 따라서 정작 클라우드 서비스 이용자는 상대적으로 낮은 관심을 받아온 것이 사실이다. 이는 새로운 기술에 비즈니스 모델이 등장하면 반복되던 현상이 클라우드 서비스 분야에서도 반복되고 있는 것으로도 볼 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 클라우드 서비스중 SaaS 서비스의 이용자 측면에서 서비스 이용행태를 분석하고 이를 기반으로 향후 SaaS 서비스의 전망에 대하여 논의하고자 한다. 이를 위해 SaaS 서비스 이용자를 현재 서비스를 이용하고 있는 이용자군과 현재에는 SaaS 서비스를 이용하지는 않지만 향후에는 서비스를 이용할 의도를 가지고 있는 잠재이용자군로 구분하여 설문조사를 수행한 설문결과를 토대로 이용자의 이용행태를 분석하고 향후 SaaS 서비스 전망을 기술하기로 한다.

When income reach a certain level and their basic needs are met, happiness index do not reach even though income increase. This phenomenon was described as a paradox of Esterlin. In Korea, per capita income is over $20,000, but life quality is not high enough and according to United Nation's happiness report, Korea's happiness index is 5.8 out of 10 which ranked $56^{th}$ out of 150 countries. At this point, the purposes of this study are first: Can capabilities of feeling happiness be strengthened through education? second: Is Home Economics curriculum in Technology and Home Economics the most robust course to enhance the capabilities of feeling happiness? In this study, qualitative research methods(theoretical research and, in-depth interviews) was in progress. Conclusion of this study are as follows. Capabilities of feeling happiness can be enhanced through training. As a nation and the economy with level of per capita GNP over $20,000, in order to realize a desirable human character, capabilities of feeling happiness can be trained and strengthened through education. In particular, it is necessary to strengthen the capability of feeling happiness through life experience. Since Home Economics Curriculum educates to enhance their life practice, it is the most robust course in feeling happiness training to enhance their capabilities.

The aim of this study was to assess the social impact of the cultural programs of the children's libraries in Korea and further present the libraries'social value. To this end, we have conducted a survey on 511 elementary school students to assess the social impact of the children libraries'cultural programs. As a consequence, we have ascertained the children's expressiveness / creativity within their personal realms, self-esteem, pleasure / joy / happiness as well as their attitude towards cultural arts and changes in the cultural and artistic experiences further to growth in friendship as a matter of social interaction, generation and strengthening of local communities, sense of affiliation with local community / identify, and local community participation, among the manifestations of the social impact concerned. Based on this, children's libraries can be regarded as an important social capital of the community in the following aspects. Children's libraries enhance the quality of life and children's interaction skills. It also make them feel attached to the local community. Children's libraries maintain local communities, contribute to the creation and strengthening of local communities, and encourage participation in local activities.

This study investigates the effects of mental health and daily oral habits on temporomandibular joint symptoms. The study was conducted from September 1 to 30, 2019, enrolling a total of 402 young adults. We determined that mental health levels of anxiety, depression, and social maladjustment are significantly different, depending on life satisfaction (p<0.001), subjective health status (p<0.001), and trauma (p<0.01). Treating jaw joints exerted a significant difference in social maladjustment (p<0.05). Temporomandibular joint symptoms are significantly higher among women (p<0.05), drinkers (p<0.01), trauma (p<0.01) and jaw joint treatment patients (p<0.001). Mental health levels (p<0.001), oral habits (p<0.001), and temporomandibular joint symptoms (p<0.001) are all positively correlated. In addition, oral hygiene has the greatest influence on temporomandibular joint symptoms of trauma. Furthermore, factors experienced during treatment of the jaw joints also affect the temporomandibular joint symptoms. We conclude that it is imperative to improve oral health and malpractice in treating jaw joint disorders, and also develop a program that effectively improves jaw joint health, by combining mental health counseling and daily lifestyle improvements.

In this paper, I found the leadership core-value of the Sunbai(선배) a man of refined taste. I studied twelve Sunbai considered as a man of refined taste in this research. I focused on the aspect showing common worth among their various abilities and cultural contributions, a point of view of classifying them into one form called Sunbai a man of refined taste. As the core value is the basis of supporting the individual identity, so the leadership core-value is the source and philosophical base of displaying the leadership. Our Sunbai combining character and knowledge show common structure in their personal growth and showing the leadership. It is that they embodied the stage of cultivating themselves(修身, Self), considering the relation with others(齊家, Relation), leading the organization(治國, Team), and making efforts for and having influence on the community(平天下, Community) throughout their own life. I examined how to display the leadership in the four fields on a case by case basis and then constructed the leadership model of the Sunbai a man of refined taste by synthesizing them. As a result, I considered their leadership core-value as the intercommunication and named it 'Leadership of Muaesabang(無碍四方)'. Also, I confirmed that it is still very valuable in these days of aiming at the open society and the harmony of the diverse civilization.

Emotion is closely related to the life of human, so has effect on many parts such as concentration, learning ability, etc. and makes to have different behavior patterns. The purpose of this paper is to extract important features based on physiological signals to recognize negative emotion. In this paper, after acquisition of electrocardiography(ECG), electroencephalography(EEG), skin temperature(SKT) and galvanic skin response(GSR) measurements based on physiological signals, we designed an accurate and fast algorithm using combination of linear discriminant analysis(LDA) and genetic algorithm(GA), then we selected important features. As a result, the accuracy of the algorithm is up to 96.4% and selected features are Mean, root mean square successive difference(RMSSD), NN intervals differing more than 50ms(NN50) of heart rate variability(HRV), ${\sigma}$ and ${\alpha}$ frequency power of EEG from frontal region, ${\alpha}$, ${\beta}$, and ${\gamma}$ frequency power of EEG from central region, and mean and standard deviation of SKT. Therefore, the features play an important role to recognize negative emotion.

The purpose of this study was to analyze the democratic civic competencies of the activity tasks in 'the Family Life' part in Middle School Technology Home Economics textbooks according to the 2015 revised national curriculum. In order to achieve the purpose of this study, the activity tasks of six types of middle school Home Economics textbooks (for a total 12 of volumes) were analyzed. As a result, the use of the citizenship competency group was the most often recorded out of the three democratic civic competency groups and the subset of trust and value competencies also were frequently observed. Additionally, democratic civic competency was the seen most within the 'human development and family' area by the national curriculum, and showed the highest frequency in big idea, 'the relationship'. Activity tasks in the 'KH' textbooks were dealing with democratic civic competency the most. Based on the relationship between Home Economics education and democratic civic competencies, it is necessary to study the practice of classroom instruction so that students can develop democratic civic competence in 'the Family Life' by means of a Home Economics curriculum.
