Object-oriented design of FMC Control Software (FMC 제어 소프트웨어의 객체지향적 설계)

  • As a software development methodology, object-oriented paradigm that has execellent reusability, portability, and extensibility, is currently being used in many application fields. Especially, UML(Unified Modeling Language), which is recently released as a third generation methodology for the object-oriented system development, has many advantages such as generalization, certainty, visualization. For this reason, the usability of UML in manufacturing system control is expected to increase. In this paper, analysis and design of FMC control system are peformed by UML. Software objects to accommodate the dynamic environment of FMC operations are modeled by using the diagrams of UML. The objective of this paper is to suggest a generic framework to design FMC control software.

  • Zoom lens camera calibration is an important and difficult problem for two reason at least. First, the intrinsic parameters of such a camera change over time, it is difficult to calibration them on-line. Secondly, the pin-hole model for single lens system can not be applied directly to a zoom lens system. In this paper, We address some aspects of this problem.

  • 자동차 도장공장의 마지막 도색공정인 상도공정에서는 도장할 차체의 색상(Color)이 직전에 도장된 차체의 색상과 다르면 스프레이 노즐에 남아있는 직전차체의 도료\를 세정하여 하는데, 이 때 도료손실과 세정비용 등의 색상변경비용(Color Change Cost)이 발생한다. 이러한 비용을 줄이기 위하여 동일한 색상의 차체들이 가능한 한 연속으로 도장될 수 있도록, 상도공정 직적에 동일한 차체들을 모은 저장창고(Color Grouping Buffer)가 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 도장공장의 상도공정에서의 색상변경비용을 줄일 수 있도록 저장창고에서의 차체의 인입, 저장, 인출을 실시간에 제어하는 Color Selection 시스템을 자동화하여 성공적으로 운영하고 있는 사례를 소개한다.

  • $MTP^{TM}$ guarantees high bandwidth that is necessary to tansmit high qualify full motion video data effectively. In other hand TCP/IP which is used for information search does not guarentee high bandwidth as that in $MTP^{TM}$. Therefore VOD service system that searches information manged by DBMS and transmits required full motion video data should control different kinds of protocol simultaneously. This paper describes the configuration of VODB system that has solved these problems.

  • Policy base management system that can satisfy various user's request in distributed system environment recently and manage network resources efficiently is required. Described policy base management information consisted of ECA(Event-Condition-Action) rules so that efficient management of various communication network and consistent management policy may be available in this paper. Policy is consisted of Event, Condition and Actions to achieve when condition is satisfied. And we can present formality of dynamic function of management object as applying policy to ATM congestion control model been applying in real environment.

  • 유도 전동기를 제어하기 위한 일반적인 상용인버터는 다이오드 정류부, 평활용 Cap부, 인버터부로 구성된다. 시스템의 설계에 따라 가감속을 선정 할 수 있으며 산업현장에서는 부하의 관성이 큰 경우에 빠른 감속이 요구되는 경우가 있다. 상용 인버터는 감속 시 소비되는 에너지 외에 회생에 사용되며 회생 에너지에 비례하여 DC 링크 전압이 커지는데 이는 인버터의 소손 원인이 된다. DB유닛으로 이 문제를 해결해 줄 수 있지만 가격적인 부담을 가지고 있다. 부하의 관성이 크고 감속시간이 짧은 경우 DC 링크 과전압 방지를 위해 모터 출력의 정격에 맞는 출력지령을 내보내는 기술에 경제형 상용 인버터 시스템에 맞게 지령을 조정하는 부분을 추가하여 본 논문의 감속기법을 제안하였다. 이 방법은 DB유닛을 사용하지 않았으며, 실험을 통해 검증하였다.

  • We propose a unmaned integrating control system based-on Windows XP version Off-Line Programming System which can simulate a Robot model in 3D Graphics space in this paper. The robot with 4 and 6 axes modeled SM5 and AM1 respectively were adopted as an objective model. Forward kinematics, inverse kinematics and robot dynamics modeling were included in the developed off-line program. The interface between users and the off-line programming system in the Windows XP's graphic user interface environment was also studied. The developing language is Microsoft Visual C++. Graphic libraries, OpenGL, by silicon Graphics, Inc. were utilized for 3D Graphics.

Signal Control and Dynamic Route Guidance in ITS (지능형 교통체계에서의 신호제어와 동적 경로안내)

  • An ideal traffic control system should consider simultaneously both route guidance of vehicles and signal policies at intersection of a traffic network. It is known that an iterative procedure gives an optimal route to each vehicle in the network. This paper presents an iterative procedure to find an optimal signal plan for the network. We define the optimal solution as a signal equilibrium. From the definition of signal equilibrium, we prove that the fixed point solution of the iterative procedure is a signal equilibrium, when optimal signal algorithms are implemented at each intersection of the network. A combined model of route guidance and signal planning is also suggested by relating the route guidance procedure and the signal planning procedure into a single loop iterative procedure.

  • In this research we investigate motion controller performance for mobile robots according to changes in the control loop sampling time. As a result, we suggest a proper range of the sample time, which can minimize final posture errors while improving tracking capability of the controller. For controller implementation into real mobile robots, we use a smooth and continuous motion controller, which can respect robot's path curvature limitation. We examine motion control performance in experimental tests while changing the control loop sampling time. Toward this goal, we compare and analyze experimental results using two different mobile robot platforms; one with real-time control and powerful hardware capability and the other with non-real-time control and limited hardware capability.

  • In this paper, we describe a method for synchronization protocol method used in control system based on network and IEEE 1599 synchronization method which used for implementation of synchronization technology of advanced industrial Ethernet. We also implement and perform the experiment for synchronization technology of EtherCAT communication which is one of the industrial Ethernet technology used IEEE 1599 synchronization technology based on time. And we describe an evaluation for experiment result, improve the problem and future plan.
