A Study on Applying Information Security Requirement for WiBro System (와이브로 시스템의 정보보호 요구분석)

  • The technology of WiBro, combining advantages of high speed internet and wireless internet provides the effectiveness and convenience provided by broadband and convergence. WiBro has developed due to supports of the related industries. The advancement of WiBro have created driving force for network advancement. WiBro is a niche market among high speed Internet, wireless LAN, Mobile phone, wireless internet. Through building relationship between market share and the existed telecommunication service, WiBro could improve the convenience of users. The security controls have to be built considering vulnerabilities of WiBro. Based on the study, the architecture of WiBro was suggested through reviewing the vulnerabilities and security controls in the wireless network and wire network. The appropriate security measures to be applied in the environment of WiBro. The outcomes of the study could improve the usage of WiBro.

  • An Edutainment Contents help the learners to recognize the problems effectively, grasp and classify important information needed to solve the problems and convey the contents of what they have learned. Owing not only to this game-like fun but also to the educational effect, The Edutainment contents can be usefully applied to education and training in the areas of scientific technology and industrial technology. This study proposes the Edutainment that users can apply to biotechnology by using intuitive multi-modal interfaces. In this study, a stereoscopic monitor is used to make three dimensional molecular structures, and multi-modal interface is used to efficiently control. Based on the system, this study easily solved the docking simulation function, which is one of the important experiments, by applying these game factors. For this, we suggested the level-up concept as a game factor that depends on numbers of objects and users.

  • The number of electronic embedded software in vehicle system is ever increasing for years. As a result, the electronic control units have been growing dramatically, and it is required to mutual link between these units. Due to separate API each and every embedded platform, it is difficult to develop and integrate in automotive industry. The AUTOSAR project consists suppliers and manufacturers, and the partnership is a standardized platform to establish and develop an industry standard. On the previous works, we implemented the RTE generated module design based on AUTOSAR architecture. This paper specifically focuses on the testing of the development tool that generates RTE source code. The result satisfied a need for a RTE requirements and AUTOSAR methodology in a vehicle applications.

  • Since an unexpected fault of induction motor drive systems can cause serious troubles in many industrial applications, which the technique is required to diagnose faults of a voltage-fed PWM inverter for induction motor drives. The considered fault types are rectifier diodes, switching devices and input terminals with open-circuit faults, and the signal for diagnosis is derived from motor currents. The magnitude of dq-current trajectory is used for the feature extraction of a fault and PCA LDA are applied to diagnose. Also, we show results with respect to the execution time because of the possibility to use that a diagnosis software is embedded in the controllers of medium and small size induction motors drive for real-time diagnosis. After we performed various simulations for the fault diagnosis of the inverter, the usefulness of proposed algerian was verified.

  • The demand for food safety has emerged as a major social issue due to changes in diet patterns and consumers' perceptions, along with the advancements in society and the development of the food industry. Consumers are demanding more information about the food they consume, and are sensitive to food scandals. With such interest in food safety, blockchain technology is attracting attention as a means of effectively responding to poor food management resulting in food fraud or unsafe distribution. By ensuring the accuracy of, and trust in, traceability in the food supply chain, it is possible to build trust between traders and to ensure safe food distribution. This paper proposes a next-generation agri-food distribution system that can provide and manage (for suppliers, consumers, and distribution officials) a variety of agri-food information, such as the history, distribution, safety, quality, and freshness of food. Information on product status and distribution status in all processes, including production, processing, distribution, sales, and consumption, can be monitored and controlled in real time (anytime, anywhere), and users can check the safety level of each type of food in real time through an app.

  • Recently, most of the energy consumed in vehicle is derived from fossil fuels. For this reason, the demand for clean, renewable and affordable alternative energy is forcing the automotive industry to look beyond the conventional fossil fuels. Natural gas represents today a promising alternative to conventional fuels for vehicles propulsion, because it is characterized by a relatively low cost, better geopolitical distribution than oil, lower environmental impact, higher octane number and a higher self ignition temperature. Above all, CNG is an environmentally clean alternative to the existing spark ignition engines with the advantages of minimum change. In this study was installed bi-fuel system that a conventional 2 liters gasoline engine was modified to run on natural gas by a gas injection system. Experiments were mainly carried on the optimization of an ECU control strategy affecting the emission characteristics of CNG/Gasoline bi-fule vehicle. The test results shown that CO2 emission in bi-fuel mode was reduced 16% compared to gasoline fuel in the NEDC mode. Also the amount of CO and HC emissions in bi-fuel and gasoline modes were found to equality. But Compared to gasoline, the bi-fuel mode resulted in higher NOx emissions.

  • To improve the efficiency of PDP TV, it should minimize the power losses transpired during AC-to-DC power conversion and PDP driving process. Generally the input power supply for PDP driving employes a two-stage power factor corrected converter, and it needs additional DC-to-DC converters to supply driving power for reset circuit ed sustain driver, which has high power consumption. However, such a circuit configuration has a difficulty for the PDP market requires low cost. To alleviate this problem, a new circuit composition is presented. It integrates input power supply with reset and sustain driver in a single power stack The input power supply of the proposed circuit has a single-stage structure to minimize power conversion loss, and it directly supplies power to the sustain driver so as to reduce the system size and cost.

  • For drones to be used for industrial or agricultural applications, it is necessary to increase the payload and endurance. Currently, the payload and endurance are limited by the battery technology for electric powered drones. In addition, charging or replacing the batteries may not be a practical solution at the field that requires near continuous operation. In this paper, a procedure to optimize the power system of an electric hybrid drone that consists of an internal combustion engine, a generator, a battery, and electric motors is presented. The example drone for crop dusting is sized for easy transportation with a maximum takeoff weight of 200 kg. The two main rotors that are mechanically connected to the internal combustion engine provides most of the lift. The drone is controled by four electric motors that are driven by the generator. By analyzing the flow of the energy, a methodology to select the optimum propeller and motor among the commercially available models is described. Then, a procedure of finding the optimum operational condition along with the proper gear reduction ratios for the internal combustion engine based on the test data is presented.

  • Recently, the awareness of S/W education, which was confined to the profession, is changing due to the changing industrial environment based on ICT technology World main countries invest competitively in S/W education and the target age group is getting lower Among them, the unplugged coding method using the robot platform is known as one of the most effective S/W training methods targeting the elementary age by the intuitive coding method and the robot platform feedback. However, the unplugged coding method using the robot platform has a disadvantage that it can not configure various interfaces for complicated coding due to limitations of H/W. In this paper, we have proposed an unplugged coding system which can input various commands for robot control by IR remote control as an interface and minute signals using robot sensor.
