The Design and Implementation of IoT-Based Radon Measurement Control System (IoT 기반 라돈 측정 제어시스템 설계 및 구현)

  • This paper is a IoT-based radon meter control system and a radon meter control method using it. The IoT-based radon meter control system is control system for controlling a radon meter by network-connecting radon meter and a user terminal. The radon measuring device may be provided with a radon sensor to measure a radon value of a preset management target area, it collect and store numerical data. The radon meter control system monitors the condition of the radon meter, it includes control center configured to deliver radon meter management information generated to a user terminal. Also radon measurements to determine the exact amount of radon gas. Therefore, the situation-specific actions based on radon numbers can be promptly implemented to ensure adequate protection for those who are vulnerable to radon and those who live in the area. Condition monitoring allows the radon meter to respond quickly to failure or failure of the radon meter. In addition, it is possible to secure a baseline of radon's influence and to obtain research data to cope with radon by establishing big data with radon measurements.

A Study on Optimal Pressure Control of Hydraulic Nozzle for Vaccum Foam System of Refrigerator in the 900L Class (900L 냉장고 진공발포시스템 유압노즐의 최적 압력제어에 관한 연구)

  • This study proposes a new approach to control the nozzle pressure of homogenizer in refrigerator foam system in the 900L class. Generally, dynamic characteristics of the hydraulic nozzle system is highly nonlinear due to uncertain parameters, and it is very difficult to control of hydraulic dynamics. Firstly, it has been performed to derive a real-time control algorithm based on the mathematical model of hydraulic cylinder, and to estimate the values of the unknown parameter in the hydraulic system. Secondly, the feedback controller was designed to implement the optimal pressure control of the hydraulic nozzle system. Finally the control performance was illustrated by simulation.

  • Since the world has changed to a society of 21st century high-tech industries, the modern people have become reluctant to work in a difficult and dirty environment. Therefore, unmanned technologies through robots are being demanded. Now days, effects such as voice, control, obstacle avoidance are being suggested, and especially, voice recognition technique that enables convenient interaction between human and machines is very important. In this study, in order to conduct study on the stable motion control of the robot system that has mobile-manipulator structure and is voice command-based, kinetic interpretation and dynamic modeling of two-armed manipulator and three-wheel mobile robot were conducted. In addition, autonomous driving of three-wheel mobile robot and motion control system of two-armed manipulator were designed, and combined robot control through voice command was conducted. For the performance experiment method, driving control and simulation mock experiment of manipulator that has two-armed structure was conducted, and for experiment of combined robot motion control which is voice command-based, through driving control, motion control of two-armed manipulator, and combined control based on voice command, experiment on stable motion control of voice command-based robot system that has mobile-manipulator structure was verified.

  • 인터넷 서비스가 차별화 되어야 한다는 논의는 인터넷이 본격적으로 상용화된 1990넌대 중반부터 꾸준하게 제기되어 왔다. Tragedy of commons 라고 불리는 인터넷 혼잡현상은 지속적인 기술발전으로 인해서 상당부분 해결되었으나, 최근 들어서는, Web 2.0의 등장을 통해 동영상 파일이 차지하는 비중이 늘어나면서 P2P를 통한 파일교환이 전체 인터넷 트래픽의 상당 부분을 차지하면서, 또한 실시간 미디어, VoIP 등의 인터넷 응용 프로그램 등에서 전송상의 지연을 포함한 QoS 보장을 요구하게 되면서, 또한 통신사업자의 망중립성에 관한 논의가 진행되면서, 인터넷 서비스를 차별화하고, 통제하려는 연구의 중요성이 증대되고 있다. 본 연구는 인터넷 서비스를 차별화하기 위한 수단으로 기존에 제시되어온 자격과 우선순위라는 2개의 차원에서 그리고 가격제도로서 종가제와 종량제의 차원에서 배경을 검토해본 다음, 우선 대기열 이론과 혼잡성 제어 이론을 통해서 차별화된 서비스가 전체 시스템에어떤 구체적으로 효익을 가져오는 지를 검토하며, 우선순위와 사용시간에 따라 차별화되는 종량제가 현실에서 발견되지 않는 이유에 대한 이론적인 근거를 제시하고, 종량제를 채택했을 경우에 발생하는 문제점과 종량제 사용에서 발생하는 한계들을 논의하면서, 현실적으로 종량제와 차별가격을 도입할 때 발생할 수 있는 문제점들을 밝혀본다.

Design of Montgomery Algorithm and Hardware Architecture over Finite Fields (유한 체상의 몽고메리 알고리즘 및 하드웨어 구조 설계)

  • Finite field multipliers are the basic building blocks in many applications such as error-control coding, cryptography and digital signal processing. Recently, many semi-systolic architectures have been proposed for multiplications over finite fields. Also, Montgomery multiplication algorithm is well known as an efficient arithmetic algorithm. In this paper, we induce an efficient multiplication algorithm and propose an efficient semi-systolic Montgomery multiplier based on polynomial basis. We select an ideal Montgomery factor which is suitable for parallel computation, so our architecture is divided into two parts which can be computed simultaneously. In analysis, our architecture reduces 30%~50% of time complexity compared to typical architectures.

  • Today, there is increasing the elderly population in rural community, and people of returning from the urban to the rural community are demand to be of high value-added agriculture. In this time, there are required to regularization, standardization, automation, for getting of production of high value crops. In this paper, we are study for automation cultivation control system design for produce high-value crops. this system were designed of two parts that one part is measure and control unit, another part is server part for database and server side control. the main controller for measurement and control is used MC9S08AW60, server for Database and server-side control was using MySQL with CentOS. The source code of control program was coding C and compile with GCC. the functions of measurement and control unit are digital input and output each 8channels and can be scan-able of 20 Bit with 2CH/Sec. Analog Output were designed that can be output of 4-20mA or 0-5V on 4channel. The Digital input and output part were designed 8-channel, and using the high speed photo coupler and relays. We showed that system is possible to measure a 20bit data width, 2Ch/sec as 8 channel analog signals.

Indirect Decentralized Learning Control for the Multiple Systems (복합시스템을 위한 간접분산학습제어)

  • The new filed of learning control develops controllers that learn to improve their performance at executing a given task , based on experience performing this specific task. In a previous work[6], authors presented a theory of indirect learning control based on use of indirect adaptive control concepts employing simultaneous identification and control. This paper develops improved indirect learning control algorithms, and studies the use of such controller indecentralized systems. The original motivation of the learning control field was learning in robots doing repetitive tasks such as on an asssembly line. This paper starts with decentralized discrete time systems. and progresses to the robot application, modeling the robot as a time varying linear system in the neighborhood of the nominal trajectory, and using the usual robot controllers that are decentralized, treating each link as if it is independent of any coupling with other links. The resultof the paper is to show that stability of the indirect learning controllers for all subsystems when the coupling between subsystems is turned off, assures convergence to zero tracking error of the decentralized indirect learning control of the coupled system, provided that the sample tie in the digital learning controller is sufficiently short.

Development of a Pneumatic Servomechanism Using a Direct-connected Circuit between Inlet and Outlet and Its Application to the Design of a Fuzzy Position Controller for a Fingering System (흡배기구 직결회로를 이용한 공압 서보장치의 개발과 집게 시스템용 퍼지제어기 설계)

  • In this study two issues are considered, one is to develop a pneumatic servomechanism using a direct-connected circuit between inlet and outlet, the other is to design two kinds of advanced controllers such as fuzzy and PID controllers for a fingering system. Besides, the application of the advanced controllers to the newly proposed servomechanism is presented. The procedure of this study is composed of following 6 steps : [Step 1] Structuring of a control system; [Step 2] Development of a pneumatic circuit for the servomechanism ; [Step 3] Characteristic analysis of the valve and cylinder systems ; [Step 4] Determination of optimal parameters of the PID controller ; [Step 5] Design of a fuzzy controller and parameter tuning; and, [Step 6] Experimental analysis of fuzzy and PID controllers. Experimental results show that the newly proposed pneumatic servomechanism has good performance and, not only the performance of the fuzzy controller is better than that of the PID controller but also the fuzzy controller fits well to the control of the pneumatic servomechanism.

  • This paper proposes a monitoring and remote control system, an essential part of In Vehicle Infotainment (IVI) and Human Vehicle Interface (HVI) to provide safety and convenience to a driver. The system utilizes Bluetooth for a short range communication and utilizes WCDMA for a long range communication to enhance efficiency. In this paper, an integrated controller, which integrates a CAN communication module, a Bluetooth communication module, a WCDMA communication module, is designed to control a car. Also, a remote server for managing data is designed to provide real-time monitoring and remote control for a user via smart devices. Experiment results show that all the proposed remote control, driving log, real-time monitoring, and diagnostics functions are working properly. With the proposed system, a driver can drive safely by monitoring and inspecting a car before driving via smart devices, and control conveniently by controlling a car remotely.

Structural Safety Evaluation of a 3-way Damper Valve for Scrubber-linked Exhaust Gas Control (스크러버 연계 배기가스 배출제어용 3방향 댐퍼밸브의 구조 안전성 평가)

  • IMO(International Maritime Organization) continues to strengthen environmental regulations on exhaust gases such as CO2, NOx, SOx. As for sulfur oxides, from 1 January 2020, all ships on international voyages must use fuel with a sulfur content of 0.5% or less. Or, it is obligatory to use an exhaust gas treatment device that has the same effect. Shipping companies are using low-sulfur oil, replacing them with LNG fuel, or installing scrubbers that suppress sulfur oxide emissions. In the case of ships using bunker C oil, the load on the engine is lower when entering and departing, so the exhaust gas pressure is lowered and the scrubber cannot be properly utilized. Therefore, diesel oil with low sulfur content is used when entering and leaving the coast. When diesel oil is used, exhaust gas is directly discharged through the control system and piping system, and when bunker C oil is used, sulfur oxides are reduced by scrubbers through other control systems and piping systems to discharge exhaust gas. Accordingly, a company has developed a system called a three-way damper valve that can control exhaust gas emissions while integrating these two control systems and piping systems into one. In this study, the control characteristics of the integrated exhaust gas control system and structural safety against external loads in a high-temperature exhaust gas environment were reviewed.
