한국건설산업연구원(원장 홍성웅)은 개원 5주년을 맞아 지난 3월 21일 건설회관에서 $\ulcorner$정보화시대의 한국건설:동향과 이슈$\lrcorner$ 세미나를 개최하고 미래의 건설산업은 전문성을 확보한 업체와 건설생산과정$\cdot$체계나 표준화시스템 등에서 경쟁력을 갖춘 업체가 주도할 것이라고 전망했다. 이날 세미나에서 홍성웅 원장은 $\ulcorner$정보화와 신건설산업:산업구조와 기업의 변화$\lrcorner$라는 기조연설을 통해 앞으로 건설업은 건설생산 기술이나 경영의 내재적 속성과 거리가 있는 현 건설산업구조에서 벗어나 기업의 전문성과 다양한 기능적 통합(Enterprise Integration)이라는 두 가지 속성이 좌우하게 될 것이라고 전망했다. 홍성웅 원장의 기조연설에 이어 정영수 명지대 건축과 교수의 $\ulcorner$건설프로젝트의 System Integration$\lrcorner$, 김문호 LG-EDS상무의 $\ulcorner$건설산업의 e-Business 기회와 발전방향$\lrcorner$등에 대한 주제발표 후 김재영 국토연구원 건설경제연구실장, 최원식 건설기술연구원 CALS그룹장, 김재준 한양대학교 건축공학과 교수, 문정호 한국건설산업연구원연구위원, 한승헌 건설교통부 기술정책과 사무관 등이 열띤 토론을 벌였다.

2005년 2월 16일 교토의정서 발효로 인해 향후 전 제조업체가 직접 영향을 받게 되었으며, 이에 대한 자구책 마련이 시급한 현실로 다가왔다. 따라서 에너지 다소비 산업구조인 주정산업도 에너지 절감형 생산체제 구축으로 온실가스의 배출량을 감축하는 한편 기후변화협약이 우리 주정산업 제조원가에 미치는 영향에 대하여 미리 예측하여 자구책과 주정산업 보호를 위한 적극적인 대비책 마련하는데 일조하고자 본 원고의 목적이 있다.

21세기 지역경제는 양 중심의 원가우위 추구에서 탈피하여 진 중심의 기술우위 추구를 목표로 하는 패러다임의 변화를 요구하는 바, 산업구조의 고도화 및 변화가 반드시 필요하다. 이를 위해서는 대기업 위주의 산업 구조에서 벗어나 경쟁력 있는 중소기업 주도의 산업구조가 형성되어야 하며. 기술집약적 벤처기업의 창업을 활성화하고 대기업의 사업구조 전환을 유도하는 새로운 산업 및 문화시스템으로써의 지역단위의 네트워크가 구축ㆍ확장되어야 할 것이다. 이러한 시대적 배경 속에 지자체내 창업보육센터간 연계의 필요성은 더욱 절실히 요구되며, 각 창업보육센터는 각기 특화된 창업지원 인프라를 통하여 예비창업자 및 창업기업가에게 창업에 필요한 능력개발 및 지식정보를 제공하면서, 헙력체계 및 네트워크를 구축하여 상호 보완적으로 협력해야 한다. 본 논문에서는 충남지역의 특색과 창업보육센터 현황을 고찰하여, 충남지역 창업보육센터가 나아가야 할 방향을 모색해 보고자 한다.

The population and employment of Cheongju have increased rapidly since the 1970s. This study examines the industrial employment change of Cheongju City and performs a shift-share analysis for the employment growth. The data used in this study are mainly from the 1985, 2000 and 2005 Census of Population and Housing. This study first explained the population change and industrial structure of Cheongju, then reviewed the development of shift-share models. Location quotients and specialization coefficients resulted from this study revealed the diversifying tendency in the urban industrial structure. Shift-share analysis employing the modified Arcelus model elucidated the favorable industrial mix and the competitiveness of industrial sectors. As a whole, Cheongju has advantageous industrial structure in comparison with that of the nation. All sectors of Cheongju except several services sectors grew faster than those of the nation and showed positive competitive effects. It is suggested to utilize more disaggregated industrial data in more fractured subperiod in order to pinpoint the competitive industries.

Considering the fact that households' demographic characteristics affect consumption decision, it is conjectured that rapid demographic changes would lead to a substantial change in the composition of private consumption expenditure. This paper estimates the demand functions of various consumption items by applying the Quadratic Almost Ideal Demand System(QUAIDS) model to Household Income and Expenditure Survey data, and then provides a long-term forecast of the composition of household consumption expenditure for 2005-2020. The paper shows that Korea's consumption expenditure will maintain the recent years' rapid change, of which a considerable portion is due to rapid demographic changes. Results of the paper can be utilized in forecasting the change in the industrial structure of the economy, as well as in firms' investment planning.

현재 대부분의 국내외 종합통신사업자들은 외부적인 통신산업의 경쟁 격화 및 새로운산업 트렌드 변화로 인해 매출과 영업이익이 정체되는 위기상황에 처해 있으며, 이를 타개하기 위해 미래 통신산업의 mega trend에 대응하여 사업구조를 재편하고 신규 수익모델을 창출하는 등 사업포트폴리오를 변화시키고 있다. 국내외 수많은 종합통신사업자들 중에서 일부는 미래 통신산업 mega trend 변화에 적극적으로 대응하여 다양한 전략적 옵션들을 취함으로써 성공적으로 변모해가고 있는 반면, 다른 일부는 소극적으로 대처하거나 또는 아무런 인식이 없이 본업에만 안주하여 스스로 위기를 자초하고 있는 듯 하다. 이에 본 고에서는 새로운 패러다임 변화에 적극적으로 대처하고 있는BT와 NTT 그룹의 사업포트폴리오 변화 사례 분석을 통해 국내 종합통신사업자에게 미래 서비스 사업구조 개선 방향에 대한 시사점을 제공하고자 하였다.

Video game industry has undergone the drastic changes for forty-year history. The purpose of this study was to gain an understanding of the historical evolution of the U.S. video game industry. To achieve this goal, this study has chosen the industrial organization model as the theoretical framework. This study found that the market structure as well as the market conduct in the U.S. video game industry changed drastically. This study concludes that the change of the market structure of the U.S. video game industry relates to the change of market conduct. This study could serve as the basis for future research on the economic analysis of video game industry.
