This subjects were university students. Collected data were statistically processed by PASW 18.0 program using reliability, frequency analysis, T-test, one-way ANOVA, correlation and multiple regression analysis. The results were as follows. First, redistribution participation and cooperative lifestyle participation were relatively high. Second, intention to participate in sharing economy activities differs according to gender, age, monthly allowance, and SNS usage time. Third, intention to redistribution participation increases as the recognition of objectified digital culture capital, embodied digital culture capital, and social connectedness increases. And the intention to cooperative lifestyles participation and information sharing participation increased as digital culture capital increased. Forth, the most significant variable affecting the intention to participate in sharing economic activities was digital cultural capital.

  • This paper revisits two conventional beliefs of environmental nonmarket valuation and examines their weaknesses and a new opportunity. The two beliefs are that willingness to pay (WTP) is an appropriate measure of nonmarket behaviour and that exogenous variables are relevant predictors of WTP whilst endogenous variables are not. The contemporary literature in psychology and economics is reviewed to demonstrate departures from these two beliefs. Tackling heterogeneity in stated preferences, both socio-demographic and psychological variables should be measured simultaneously to explain and predict choice behaviours more accurately.

  • The purpose of this study is to examine the effects of large company's corporate social responsibility(CSR) on trust and relationship commitment of partner companies' members. This study is different from previous studies with respect to inclusion of safety/environment responsibility as one of CSR components and inclusion of supplier company's members as one of major stakeholders in CSR. Corporate social responsibility activities, which are independent variables, are composed of four components: economic, legal, ethical, and safety/environment responsibility. The trust is composed of the dependent variables as the parameter. For the empirical analysis, data were collected from 186 members of supplier companies of 'S' large companies. The data collected were analyzed using SPSS 21.0 and AMOS 21.0 to verify the hypothetical relationship. The results of this study are as follows. First, social responsibility activities have an effect on trust and relationship commitment, and trust has a positive effect on relationship commitment. In the relationship between social responsibility activities and relationship commitment, trust was found to play a full mediating role. Based on these results, implications were discussed in terms of theory and practice, limitations were pointed out, and some research directions for future research were also proposed.

  • The present study tested a multivariate model of direct and indirect influences of family Socioeconomic Status (SES) on children's early reading skills at kindergarten entry. The data used here are from one of the largest national databases in the USA, the Early Childhood Longitudinal Study-Kindergarten cohort (ECLS-K). Utilizing structural equation modeling, the results revealed that a number of factors within parental characteristics, home practices, and SES come together to influence children's early reading skills. SES operated primarily indirectly through home literacy activities and also directly in influencing reading. In addition, parental beliefs about kindergarten readiness mediated the relation between SES and home literacy activities. Thus, SES influenced early reading directly and indirectly, through home literacy activities, and simultaneously, through parental beliefs, which in turn, were associated with home literacy activities that were directly associated with children's reading. The findings emphasized the multiple pathways through which SES is associated with children's reading and the need to search for other mediators of SES influence.

To achieve this aims, we conducted a literature survey on Elderly Social Activity Programs and local informatization, and then designed a questionnaire including the demographic information and the five variables, i.e., satisfaction on local informatization, satisfaction on health condition, satisfaction on economic condition, satisfaction on human relationship, and participatory intention of Elderly Social Activity (Employment) Programs. The data were collected through online and offline survey targeted those aged over 50 and participated in information literacy program in Korea. A total of 333 valid data were analyzed using SPSS and AMOS statistical packages. The results can be summarized as follows: satisfaction on local informatization and satisfaction on health condition have a statistically significant effect on Elderly Social Activity (Employment) Programs participatory intention. In the comparative analysis of two groups between economic active group and economic inactive group, only health has a statistically significant effect on their participatory intention in economic active group, not only health but also local informatization has a statistically significant effect on the their participatory intention in economic inactive group. Therefore, local informatization is an essential prerequisite and local informatization should be improved for the middle aged and elderlies who have willingness to participate in Elderly Social Activity (Employment) Programs.

  • This paper develops theoretical model between economic growth and pollution as follows: First, emissions are generated from final good production process and technology accumulation. Second, pollution is directly connected with increase in final good production or in consumption, Third, no pollution abatement activity would be undertaken. Fourth, reproducible factors associated with labor and capital input are used in production function. We also test the existence of nonlinear Dynamics between economic growth and pollution using an exponential smooth transition autoregressive model(ESTAR). We find the presence of nonlinear dynamics between economic growth and pollution with a time series data for Seoul. This result shows indirectly that an inverted U relationship between air pollution and economic growth exists.

  • The purpose of this study is to examine how female labor force participation, family policies, and gender equality are related to fertility rate across countries. Multiple measures has been collected from various data sources(such as OECD, UNDP, and WVS) and the panel data set which includes (mostly) OECD countries range from 1990 to 2019 are analyzed. The major findings are as follows. First, based on OECD countries samples, female labor force participation is positively associated with the fertility rate, which implies that women's labor force participation does not lead to a reduction in fertility rate. Second, the length of paternity leave is positively associated with fertility rate whereas the direction is the opposite for the relationship between the length of maternity leave and fertility rate. This is attributed to the possibility that a longer period of maternity leave incurs the a higher opportunity cost of earning income, which leads to a reduced fertility rate. Third, countries with higher gender inequality index tend to have a higher fertility rate. Similarly, countries with higher gender equality value have a lower fertility rate. When the gender equality value is devideed into three sub-categories, education, politics, and employment, the gender equality value in education is the only sub-category which is negatively associated with the fertility rate. This study confirms that female labor force participation may not be a contributing factor in the lowering of fertility rate but instead can be positively associated with the fertility rate. Also, the results show that family policies or gender equality values can be significantly affect fertility rate.

  • The research is based on the theory of cognitive psychology that a decision maker creates an internal belief through environment information process and that personal behavior is determined as a means of belief practice. This study implemented a language network analysis to understand the 16th President Noh Moo-hyun"s real estate policy belief who was a key decision maker of Korea. The results of this study are as follows. First, the chief variables of real estate policy recognized by president Rho Mu Hyun included civil economy and real estate speculation and so on. Second, the chief variables of real estate policy recognized by president Rho Mu Hyun did indicate weak correlation with other diverse economic variables. Third, the analysis shows that in practicing the real estate policy, excessive civil economy related with the real estate policy and the obsession with civil life variables worked as reason to pursue social contest rather than social agreement. It is thought that this study result will contribute to policy theory in explaining the policy decision-making process from the perspective of cognitive psychology.
