새만금사업, 신행정수도(행정중심복합도시, 세종시), 한반도 대운하사업(4대강 살리기사업) 등과 같은 대형국책사업은 대통령 선거공약으로 제시되었다. 그러한 대형국책사업이 국가의 이익을 위해 꼭 필요한 것으로 제시되었다 하더라도, 그 결과는 좋은 의도와는 다르게 나타날 수도 있다. 대통령 선거후 환경정책기본법과 환경영향평가법에 따라 대형국책사업에 대한 사전환경성검토(전략환경평가)와 환경영향평가가 이뤄졌지만, 예상하지 못했던 정치적, 사회경제적, 환경적 갈등이 발생하였다. 이러한 개발 및 환경 갈등의 원인은 여러 측면에서 찾을 수 있겠지만, 사회경제적 항목을 중심으로 하는 사회영향평가의 미흡을 그 원인으로 제시하는 연구가 많다. 대규모 국책사업을 둘러싼 개발 및 환경 갈등을 해소하기 위해, 우리나라와 외국의 사회영향평가의 현황과 연구 동향을 고찰하고, 국책사업의 주요 쟁점의 분석을 통하여 사회영향평가의 중요성과 필요성을 강조하였다. 그리고 사회영향평가의 도입, 강화, 지침 마련에 대해 다음과 같이 제안하였다. 첫째, 현재의 사전환경성검토(전략환경평가)시에 사회적 통합, 경제적 측면(B/C분석, 비용, 고용 등), 법제적 측면, 한반도 통일이나 국가균형발전 등과 같은 사회경제적 항목을 평가항목에 추가함으로써 사회영향평가를 도입하고; 둘째, 환경영향평가 시에 공공시설, 교육, 교통, 문화재, 경제적 타당성, 고용, 토지이용을 현재의 사회경제평가항목에 추가시켜 사회영향평가를 보다 강화시키고; 셋째, 한국의 환경적, 정치적, 경제적, 사회적, 문화적 상황을 반영하여(사회영향평가의 원리와 지침(가칭))을 마련하도록 한다.

과학교육에서는 과학과 기술과 관련된 사회적 또는 환경 문제의 증가를 더 이상 간과할 수가 없게 되었고, 이로 인해 과학-기술-사회-환경(Science-Technology, Society-the Environment: STSE)교육을 통한 실천적 과학 소양의 중요성이 대두되고 있다. 본 연구는 환경 내용을 다룬 초등학교 6학년 2학기 과학 단원, 3. 쾌적한 환경을 학습하는 과정에서 환경 중심 STSE 교육의 어려움과 그 가능성에 대하여 고찰하고자 하였다. 초등학교 6학년 두 개의 반 아동 86명은 단원 학습에 참여하는 동안 설문, 그리기와 쓰기, 면담에 참여하였다. 수집된 자료는 아동들의 과학-기술-사회-환경의 관련성에 대한 인식과 과학 지식의 실천적 소양이라는 측면에서 분석되었다. 결과로는 첫째, 과학-기술-사회-환경의 관계에 대한 아동들의 인식은 현대 사회가 가지고 있는 가치관과 복잡하게 얽혀 있었으며, 이 안에서 과학/기술의 발전은 사회 발전과 환경 문제의 두 측면에서 다소 상반적인 관계를 보였다. 둘째, 환경 문제에 대한 아동의 인식은 높은 반면 실천적 소양의 측면은 상대적으로 낮았다. 셋째 과학-환경 지식은 환경 문제 인식과 문제 해결에 그다지 영향을 미치지 않았다. 이러한 결과들을 바탕으로 본 논문은 실천적 과학 소양을 위한 과학-기술-사회-환경 교육의 문제점과 어려움에 대해 논의한다.

본 연구는 서울지역 아파트 거주자를 대상으로 거주자의 주거환경 만족도, 인구통계학적 특성과 주거형태에 따른 주거환경 만족에 차이, 그리고 주거환경 만족도간에는 상관관계가 있는지를 알아보고자 하였다. 이를 위해 서울지역 아파트 거주자 500명을 대상으로 2009년 9월 1일부터 2009년 9월 20일까지 조사를 실시하여 자료를 수집하였다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS를 이용하여 빈도 백분율, 평균, 표준편차, t-test, ANOVA, Duncan Multiple Ranger's Test 등을 계산하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 서울지역 아파트 거주자의 주거환경만족도는 중간이상의 수준을 나타냈으며, 사회환경 중 단지질서 만족도가 가장 높았다. 둘째, 거주자 변인에 따른 시설환경 만족도는 유의한 차이가 있었다. 셋째, 거주자 변인에 따른 근린, 사회환경 만족도는 유의한 차이가 있었다. 4) 주거환경 만족도 변수상호간에는 주택환경 만족도와 단지 내 환경 만족도, 단지 내 환경 만족도와 관리상태 만족도간 밀접한 상관관계가 있었다.

The purpose of this study is to conceptually define "spatial inclusivity" and empirically examine the impact of disability severity and spatial inclusivity on social participation among individuals experiencing physical discomfort. The social and spatial environment of the residential area is crucial for individuals with disabilities who face limited activity range and complex barriers due to physical constraints. In this study, spatial inclusivity from the perspective of people with disabilities is defined as establishment of equal relationships with non-disabled individuals within the local community, as well as the availability of basic facilities and services in a safe urban space that allows for access and utilization. This concept consists of three dimensions: individual networks, social environment, and physical environment. The physical environment encompasses safety levels, natural environment, living environment, public transportation conditions, medical services in residential areas. We used the 2019 Community Health Survey to examine the relationship between disability severity, spatial inclusivity, and social participation using a two level regression model. The findings are as follows: Firstly, personal relationships at the individual level and the physical environment at the local level have a positive impact on social participation. Secondly, when identifying dividing the physical environment into five sub-factors, no significant influence of individual factors is found. Thirdly, trustworthy and friendly social environment at the local level has a negative impact on social participation. These results provide empirical evidence that spatial inclusivity has an effect on the social participation of individuals with disabilities and suggest implications for urban planning to create and enhance conditions for the social participation of individuals with disabilities.

Social enterprises have been concerned with the social problems and their market survival, simultaneously. They show diverse types of organizational identities in order to pursue such hybrid goals. This study examines how the social enterprises shape their identities. In particular, it focuses on regional and industry environments that influence the types of the organizational identities of the social enterprises. This study categorizes 219 social enterprises, founded in the environmental sector, into social oriented single identity, business oriented single identity, and mixed identity enterprises using the 2014 and 2015 Social Enterprise Directory published by Korea Social Enterprise Promotion Agency. Findings are as follows: First, there are more social enterprises with a single identity in the metropolitan environment, compared to ones in the non-metropolitan environment, and social enterprises with a mixed identity are more likely to be established in the non-metropolitan environment than ones in the metropolitan environment. Second, there are more social enterprises with a social oriented single identity in the emerging industry environment than ones in the mature industry environment. Also, more social enterprises with a business oriented single identity are formed in the mature industry environment than ones in the emerging industry environment.

This study aims to analyze relationship between effect on social value realization efforts and company performances, focusing on the mediating effect of external-support environment. Data for the analysis is collected from open data source from Social Enterprise Promotion Agency. The results of the analysis are, first the social value realization efforts has positive effect on both social and economic outcome of the social enterprises. External-support environment has influence on both social performance and social value realization efforts. Additional analysis to test mediation effect of external-support environment were carried out by statistical software package, Process for SPSS4.0. Mediation effect could be found between social realization efforts and social performances, however, no evidence could be found on economic performance. The result indicates that social value realization efforts as a social capital has influence on social performance mediated by external-support environment.

미래 사회에서 원자력의 역할을 전망하기 위해서는 에너지, 경제 발전, 환경에 대한 사회적 태도 등 미래사회의 핵심 현안을 규명하고 이들이 원자력 이용 개발과 어떻게 상호 작용하는지를 분석하는 것이 필요하다. 본고에서는 원자력과 관련된 미래 사회의 현안으로서 사회와 경제 환경의 변화, 원자력과 생태 환경에 대한 관심, 에너지 자원의 한계 및 지속 가능성 등에 초점을 두었다. 이를 바탕으로, 미래 사회에서 원자력의 역할을 증진시키기 위한 관점에서, 원자력 이용 개발의 외부적인 기회 요인과 위협 요인, 그리고 내부적인 강점과 약점을 분석$\cdot$전망하였다.
