The participants in this study were 293 students(134 boys, 159 girls), recruited from two High School located in Seoul. Data collection was conducted through the use of Questionnaire that was modified by the investigator. The data were analyzed with descriptive statistics, Pearson Correlation coefficients and stepwise multiple regression. The SPSS win 10.0 program was used. Results: The mean of total item score the Self Care Behaviors scales was 3.37, which was slightly low. The data were analyzed by mean, t-test, ANOVA. Scheffe test, Pearson correlation coefficients and Stepwise multiple regression using the SAS program. The results were as follows; 1. Out of a score of 164 the mean score of the hope was $107.3\pm16.7$. The mean quality of life score was 102.5 out of 160. The scores concerning social support turned out to have a mean of 67.8 out of 100. The levels concerning self-esteem and self respect had a mean of 25.1 out of 40. 2. There was a positive relation between the quality of life and social support. Furthermore, the hope level was proportional to factors such as quality of life and social support. 3. Social support accounted for $32\%$ of influential variable on the hope. If transportation way to the hospital and quality of life were added. the total predictors explained $45\%$. After kidney transplantation, immunosuppressive medication is essential to enhance the quality of life and survival of the transplanted patient. To promote the medication adherence, subjects are required to have converged attitude with open mind. Medication adherence will depend on the attitude of the psychosocial characteristics and treatment guidelines. The purpose of this study was to identify the specific types and characteristics of medication adherence in the view of kidney transplanted patients. Q-methodology, a technique for extracting subjective opinions, was used. Forty participants completed the Q-sort activity, rating each statement relative to the others. The collected data were analyzed by QUANL PC program. Four types of medication adherence of kidney transplanted patients were identified: 'positive lifestyle management type', 'vigilant appearance management type', 'somber oblivion type', 'vigilant family support type'. Through the identification of attitudes to medication adherence, repeated and individualized medication adherence program will help to prevent graft rejection.

Purpose: The purpose of this study is to examine academic stress, social support and learning management system(LMS) utilization satisfaction of learners attending online graduate schools and understand the factors influencing their academic persistence. Methods: The participants were students of K online graduate school and the data of 143 students, in total, were collected from April to May in 2019. For data analysis, frequency analysis, x2 test, t-test, F-test, Pearson's correlation and multiple regression analysis were conducted using SPSS ver. 23. Results: Academic stress, social support, and LMS utilization satisfaction were associated with academic persistence of online graduate students. The multiple regression analysis of the factors influencing academic persistence showed that the model was significant (p<.001) with an explanatory power of 23% and that significant factors influencing it were academic stress (β=-.23, p=.002), LMS utilization satisfaction (β=.31, p<.001) and jobs (β=.23, p=.002). Conclusion: Although the online graduate students' level of academic persistence was high, it is required to develop strategies to alleviate their academic stress and increase LMS utilization rate in order to increase their persistence to academic success. In addition, it is necessary to provide the foundation on which the utilization of major knowledge regarding jobs can be enhanced, reflecting the characteristics of online graduate students. Furthermore, this study is expected to contribute to the extension of professional and advanced education in response to social needs by developing a variety of online high education learning systems beyond time and space.

This research aims to provide alternative policy guidelines and suggestions to enhance reading culture in the country. Analyzing "Reading Culture Promotion Act", which is the keystone legal frame to promote readership in Korea, followed by major foreign policies, this study identified three main policy areas including 'Reading infrastructure', 'Tax support', and 'Public Campaign'. In addition, the study conducted Delphi survey of experts' assessments of how much is the recognition of, contribution to, pubic support of, and actual applicability to the reading promotion for the readers. Through the survey along with the Focus Group Interviews of different age groups, this study could develop useful guidelines and suggestions to strengthen existing reading promotion policies. The findings also suggest that the society should realize that reading is not just educational purpose but 'enjoyment' itself and for that matter, the government needs more careful and active public campaigns.
Objectives : To assess the distribution of social support, and explore its effects on self-rated health status in a low income neighborhood of Seoul, Korea. Methods : In September 2001 we conducted a survey in a low income neighborhood of Seoul, Korea, in which 862 residents, aged 18 years or over, participated. We measured the general sociodemographic characteristics, self-rated health status and social support with the instrument developed from Korean translation of the Medical Outcomes Study Social Support survey (MOS-SSS) scale of the US. Logistic regression was used to identify the determinants of social support, and explore its effects on self-rated health status. Results : Lower social class, women or divorced people had much less social support compared to higher social class, men or those never married, respectively. Those families on much lower income also received less social support. Social support has a positive impact on the self-rated health status, which remains statistically significant even when other relevant variables are adjusted. Conclusions : This study suggests that social support has an important role in health, and the socially disadvantaged have lower social support. Therefore, to improve the health status of the poor, it is necessary to encourage community participation, and develop strategies that could strengthen their provision of social support.
