A Convergence Study on Social Support and Life's Satisfaction of the Marriage Immigrant Women (결혼이주여성의 사회적 지지와 삶의 만족도에 관한 융합적 연구)

  • This study is empirical research to understand degree of social support and to analysis influence of social support on life's satisfaction of the marriage immigrant women. By precedent study, social support was classified by emotional support factor, evaluating support factor, material support factor and informational support factor. To achieve oblectives of study, it was sampling, aurvey and statistical anlysis. According to result of study, only evaluating support factor was appeared to attentional influence statistically on life's satisfaction of them. Therefore for life's satisfaction of the marriage immigrant women, it have to evaluating support, for example acceptance of valuation and personality, praise, and encouragement on them.

Mediating Effects of Social Support on the Influential Relationship between Social Exclusion and Psychological Wellbeing in Elderly People (노인의 사회적 배제가 심리적복지감에 미치는 영향에서 사회적 지지의 매개효과)

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the influence of the social exclusion factor of elderly people in a local community on their psychological wellbeing and whether or not social support would perform a mediating role in the relationship between social exclusion factor and psychological wellbeing. The subjects in this study were the elderly people who registered with a senior welfare center located in North Jeolla Province. The findings of the study were as follows: First, the social exclusion factor and social support factor of the elderly people were found to have exerted a statistically significant influence on psychological wellbeing. Second, the social support factor was found to have had partial mediating effects on the relationship between the social exclusion factor and psychological wellbeing. The findings of the study illustrated that the social support factor played a buffering role in the social exclusion factor that affected the psychological wellbeing of the elderly people.

Effects of Temperament, Family Strength and Social Support on Ego-Resilience of Adolescents (청소년의 기질, 가족건강성 사회적 지지가 자아탄력성에 미치는 영향)

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of temperament, family strength and social support on ego-resilience of adolescents. Four hundred fifty middle and high school students in Incheon participated. Temperament, family strength, social support and ego-resilience were evaluated by self-report questionnaires. Data were analyzed using factor analyses, t-tests, descriptive statistics, correlations and standard multiple regression analyses. Results indicated that there was significant gender difference in ego-resilience. Adolescents' ego-resilience was positively associated with activity level and persistence in temperament, family strength and social support, but negatively associated with rigidity in temperament. Furthermore, gender, temperament, family strength and social support of class teacher and close friends significantly predicted ego-resilience of adolescents.

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of social support from teachers and friends on the career maturity of students at technical meister high schools. The Social Support Scale adjusted by Kim, Hye-Jin(2006) and the Career Maturity Attitude Inventory Scale produced by Lee, Ki-Hak(1997) were administered. The data from 194 were ultimately included to analyze. Corrlational coefficent and multiple regression analysis were performed using SPSS 21.0 statistical package. The results were as follows. First, perceived teachers' social support was higher than friends. Second, the effect of teachers' social support on career maturity was not significant but the effect of social support from friends was found. Among sub-factors of social support from friends, emotional and informative support were found significant effect on career maturity. The implication of these results were discussed in terms of career counseling and education of technical meister high schools.

Converged Influence of Individual, Parental and Social Support Factors to the Life Satisfaction of Adolescents (청소년의 개인요인, 부모요인, 사회적 지지요인이 삶의 만족도에 미치는 융복합적 영향)

  • This research aims to investigate how factors such as individual, parental and social support influence the life satisfaction of adolescents. For the study, students living in Ganman and Ganbuk area of seoul were selected as research subject, and final analysis targets were 375 students. First, differences between groups were analyzed as following; the higher average values were presented on groups with higher grade and subjective economic level than normal. Second, it was evident that self-esteem for individual factors and autonomous-control for parental factors had positive correlation on the satisfaction of adolescent's life, whereas problematic factor had negative correlation. Based on these results, this study propose policies that can be applied in the field of social welfare practice in order to enhance the satisfaction of adolescents' life and seek intervention plans.

A Study on the Mediation Effects of Academic Stress on College Students' Social Supports and College Adjustment (보건·복지계열대학생의 사회적 지지와 대학생활적응과의 관계에서 학업스트레스의 매개효과)

  • This study is aim to examine the influence of the social supports factor of the college students who majors in health or social welfare on their college adjustment and whether or not academic stress would perform a mediating role in the relationship between social supports factor and college adjustment. The subjects in this study were the college students who majored in health or social welfare in Gyeongsang Namdo Province. Data were collected through self reported structured questionnaire form using convenient sampling methods. The findings of the study were as follows: First, the social supports factor and academic stress factor of the college students were found to have exerted a statistically significant influence on college adjustment. Second, the academic stress factor was found to have had partial mediating effects on the relationship between the social supports factor and college adjustment. The findings of the study illustrated that the academic stress factor played a buffering role in the social supports factor that affected the college adjustment of the college students.

Correlation and Associated Factors of Social Support and Social Participation for Life Care of in Stroke Patients Living in Community (지역사회에 거주하고 있는 뇌졸중 환자의 라이프케어를 위한 사회적 지지와 사회참여의 상관성 및 관련요인)

  • The purpose of this study were to investigate the social support and social participation and to analyze the correlation and associated factors of social support and participation in social support for life care in stroke patients living in community. Scores for the social support as a moderator of life stress and the Korean version of the Reintegration to Normal Living Index (K-RNLI) were surveyed using a face to face test for 92 patients who had a stroke between September 3, 2018, and January 10, 2019. As a result, there was a high correlation between social support and social participation(p<.05). Factors related to social support were living together and social participation, and factors related to social participation were type of stroke, relationship with patients, and social support. This study found that social support and social participation are related and important factors for successful rehabilitation in stroke patients living in the community. This study could be used as a basis for rehabilitation intervention in stroke patients living in the community.

MMORPG에서 길드 구성원들의 사회적 지지를 통한 심리적 요인들이 플로우 및 충성도에 미치는 영향

  • 이 연구에서는 MMORPG 게임의 길드 내에서 사회적 지지가 캐릭터와 길드를 통해 플로우 및 충성도에 미치는 영향을 검증하고자 한다. 이를 위하여 MMORPG 게이머들을 대상으로 포커스그룹인터뷰를 한 결과 사회적지지 요인을 발견하였고, 인터뷰 결과와 선행연구를 토대로 캐릭터통제력, 사회적 지지를 독립변수로 제시하였고, 매개변수로 캐릭터 동일시, 길드 동일시, 자아존중감을, 종속변수로 플로우, 충성도를 도출하여 연구모형을 개발하였다. WoW(WorldofWarcraft) 이용자 244 명의 자료를 수집하여 전체적인 연구모형의 구조적 적합도를 검증하기 위해 구조방정식모델(SEM)분석을 이용하였다. 분석을 통해 다음과 같은 주요 연구결과를 밝혀냈다. 첫째, 사회적지지는 캐릭터 통제력, 캐릭터 동일시, 길드 동일시, 자아존중감에 통계적으로 유의하게 나타났으며, 캐릭터 통제력은 캐릭터 동일시, 길드 동일시, 자아존중감을 향상시키는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 캐릭터 동일시는 자아존중감과 충성도에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 길드 동일시는 자아존중감과 플로우, 충성도에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 자아존중감은 플로우에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 밝혀졌다.

A Study on Families' Coping with the Mentally III (정신장애인 가족의 대처에 관한 연구)

  • The main premise of this study is that a successful treatment and rehabilitation of the mentally ill depends on an active. coping of their family members, who are the primary care-takers of the patients, even if families are confronting many difficulties because of caring their patients. Accordingly, this study aims to find out which factors are related to families active coping with the mentally ill. This study is conducted the survey with 191 family members of the mentally ills in order to discover: 1) what kinds of relations do exist between sociodemographic factors of the respondents, care-burden toward the mentally ill, and social supports, and the active coping, and 2) in what extent do these related factors affect on the active coping. The major findings of the study are: 1) gender and educational background of the respondents are positively related to the active coping; 2) regarding care-burden felt by the respondents, there is statistically significant positive relationship between - the respondents' burden due to a lack of social and institutional support and their active coping; 3) considering the relationship with social support, there is highly positive relationship between decision. emotional. material supports and the active coping; 4) using a multiple regression, respondents' sociodemographic background, care-burden, social support affect significantly on the active coping by 26.2% of explanatory power; and 5) using a step-wise multiple regression, the most powerful influenced factors on active coping are emotional support, burden due to a lack of social and institutional support, and educational background of the respondents. In conclusion, this study recommends clinicians to use an educational and support model for the families. All these efforts will contribute to enhance active coping of the families with the mentally ill.

  • This study used the fifth additional data of the panel research on security for the aged conducted by National Pension Research Institute in 2014, and studied the level of satisfaction about life targeting 7,763 middle- and old-aged people in their 50s or older. Social support, one of the influential factors on satisfaction about life, had a positive impact on satisfaction about life, and material support and emotional support were found to have a big influence.
