Social Intelligence (SI) and Emotional Intelligence (EI) as Predictors of Job Engagement and Organizational Commitment in Deluxe Hotel (특급 호텔 종사원의 사회지능과 감성지능이 직무열의 및 조직몰입에 미치는 영향)

  • This study explores the influence of social intelligence (SI) and emotional intelligence (EI) on employees' job engagement and organizational commitment in deluxe (five-star) hotels in Korea, and seeks to analyze the mediating effects of employees' job engagement on the relationship between SI, EI, and employees' commitment. The sample for the survey was collected from 419 F & B employees. The results of structural equation modeling show that employees' SI had a positive effect on job engagement and organizational commitment. EI also had a positive effect on job engagement but not on organizational commitment. In addition, the findings demonstrate that employees' job engagement mediated the effect of EI on organizational commitment. SI and EI are crucial requirements among hotel employees who depend on cooperation between colleagues.

  • 비점오염원 관리는 점오염원과는 달리 사전예방적 토지에 기반을 둔 주민의 참여가 중요해지는 환경적 사회적 여건변화에 따라 국민의 환경관리 의식을 제고시키기 위해서 보다 적극적인 환경보전의무를 도출할 필요가 있다. 대부분의 비점오염원은 정상적인 사회 및 경제활동에도 지속적으로 발생하여 축적되어 있다가 강우시 배출되고 있다. 또한 비점오염원의 특성상 오염원인자가 매우 많으며, 특정 원인자만을 지목하기 어려우며 특정 시설에 대한 책임만 고려하기 보다는 오염물질과 그에 따른 행위책임을 함께 부여하는 것이 타당하다.

A study on the Economic Effects of Start-up SME's Social Insurance Costs Reduction (창업 중소기업 4대 보험 경감에 따른 경제적 효과에 관한 연구)

  • This study is about the suggestion of reduction method for social insurance cost of startup SMEs Based on the study abroad and the current status of Korea we suggest several methods such as direct and indirect support, exemption, deferment/loan. For the economic effect analysis, we derived benefits and costs. Employment, value added, and revenue increasing effects are considered as benefits. Costs are analyzed by each method. In case of exemption, the analysis is impossible. Analysis results show that direct and deferment/loan case have an effect of 563,469 jobs creation, added value of 26.82 trillion wons, and increase in tax revenues about 82.4 billion wons. In case of exemption, There are 105,368 jobs creation, 5.02 trillion wons of added value, and 15.4 billion wons of increase in tax revenues. And for each case, there are costs 9.58 trillion won, 5.42 trillion won, 1.79 trillion won.

Health Effects and Social Benefit of Residential Radon Reduction (주택 라돈 저감의 건강 효과와 사회적 편익)

  • Radon is a radioactive gas that causes lung cancer deaths. The contingent valuation method (CVM) is used to estimate the value of a statistical life(VSL) of 2.054 billion won for the death due to residential radon in Korea. Residential radon is assumed to have caused 2,330 deaths in 2020, of which the estimated social cost is 4.78 trillion won. When a national compulsory standard of 200Bq/m3 is set for residential radon concentration, the number of lives saved is estimated to be 691, leading to a social benefit of 1.42 billion won. This study reports the origin, characteristics and health risk of residential radon, and emphasizes the importance of a dramatic increase in the budget for residential radon reduction policies.

  • 명예에 관한 죄는 사람의 사회적 인격성을 침해하는 범죄로서 보호법익은 '명예'이다. 명예는 인간의 존엄성을 바탕으로 사람이 사회적, 윤리적, 정신적으로 당연히 누려야할 인격적 가치를 말한다. 이는 크게 외적명예, 내적명예, 명예감정으로 나눌 수 있는데, 외적명예는 사람의 인격가치에 대한 사회적 평가를 의미한다. 내적명예는 사람의 고유한 인격가치로서 사람이 출생과 함께 갖게 되는 윤리적 사회적인 인격적 가치제를 말한다. 명예감정은 자기의 인격가치에 대한 자신의 주관적 평가를 말한다.

Impact of Emotional Labor on Quality of Service by Social Workers in Public Sector (사회복지전담공무원의 감정노동이 서비스 질에 미치는 영향)

  • Recently, social welfare officers are suffering from a lot of job stress due to increasing work and are carrying out emotional labor. This study assessed the effect of emotional labor on the quality of welfare service through a questionnaire survey on 937 civil servants in Sejong city and Chungcheongnam-do provinces. First, social welfare officers experienced more than average level of emotional labor, and they performed more internal behavior than surface behavior. Second, the services provided by the social welfare officers were higher than usual, followed by tangibility, assurance, reliability, empathy, and responsiveness. Third, deeping acting had a positive (+) influence on service quality among the sub-factors of emotional labor. In other words, the quality of service increases as the emotional state itself changes, On the other hand, deeping acting did not affect service quality. In the future, policy responses to excessive work burden of social welfare officers should be needed and a manual for responding to emotional labor should be provided.

The Effect of Emotional Labor by Social Workers with Case Management of Customer Orientation: Focused on the Moderating Effect of Emotional Intelligence and LMX (사례관리 사회복지사의 감정노동이 고객지향성에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구: 감성지능과 리더-구성원 교환관계의 조절효과를 중심으로)

  • The poor welfare level of social workers is a big social problem in direct proportion to the ongoing need for social welfare service. In particular, the emotional work of social workers is a serious situation. This Study examines the effect of emotional labor(EL) on customer orientation(CO) of social workers with case management. Also this paper investigates the moderating effect of emotional intelligence(EI) and leader-member exchange(LMX). The major results from the study are as follow: First, we found that surface acting(SA) of EL had a negative impact on CO and deep acting(DA) of EL had a positive impact on CO. Second, EI showed a moderating effect on the correlation between SA of EL and CO. Also, EI had the moderating effect that weakening the negative impact of SA on CO. Third, LMX showed a moderating effect on the correlation between DA of EL and CO. Also, LMX had the moderating effect that strengthening the positive impact of DA on CO. In particular, this study presented with implications for future research, limitations of this study.

  • 정부 3.0의 패러다임에 맞추어 사회복지서비스의 복지정책과 수요는 폭발적으로 증가할 것이다. 이에 반해 현장에서 정책을 실질적으로 집행 할 수 있는 인력인 사회복지사 등의 부족으로 실제 국민들에게 혜택이 제대로 돌아가지 못하고 있는 실정이다. 이러한 문제점을 최소화하기 위해서 복지정책의 수정과 함께 사회복지전달체계의 시스템화는 필수적이라고 할 수 있다. 민 관의 복지서비스 지원 시스템과 흩어져 있던 복지자원을 통합하고 시민과 이웃이 모두 참여 할 수 있는 복지서비스 지워 시스템의 구축은 미래 복지서비스의 새로운 방향을 제시할 것이다. 본 논문은 사각지대에 놓인 복지수요자의 발굴이 용이하고 민 관 복지서비스를 통합해서 제공할 수 있는 새로운 사회복지전달체계 시스템을 설계하고 구현하였다.

  • This study intends to examine the effect of hotel culinarian's psychological ownership based upon social exchange relations on his job satisfaction and organizational commitment. There are main results in this research focusing on deluxe hotel restaurants culinarian's in Seoul. The results of analyzing the data obtained from an empirical analysis were as follows: First, the more they perceive team-membership exchange relations and organizational support, the higher rises their psychological ownership. Second, the mire they perceive organizational support, the higher goes their job satisfaction. Third, the more they perceive team-membership exchange relations, leader-membership exchange relations and organizational support, the more they commitment themselves to their organizations, Fourth, the mopre they have psychological ownership, the higher increases their job satisfaction. Fifth, the mire they have psychological ownership, the higher rises their organizational commitment.
