This study is to explore the characteristics of contemporary Chinese architecture from the aspects of the regionalism of environment, culture and technology. Six cases of contemporary Chinese architecture which won the world-wide famous were selected and analyzed. The results are the followings; First, the regionalism of environment emphasizes the building's response to the regional environment (topography, climate and regional landscape). Second, the regionalism of culture reflects as the relevance between architecture and community structure, economic patterns, folk customs and other social factors of the region. Third, the regionalism of technology requires the coordination of construction process, structure form, materials and other contents of architecture with the regional environment and culture, and emphasizes the suitability of technology. Environment, culture and technology determine that the regionalism of contemporary Chinese architecture is not purely the meaning at the formal level, but explores the underlying causes.

The purpose of this study is to examine effects of empowerment on relationship between supervisors transformational leadership recognized by care givers and organizational effectiveness represented as the job satisfaction and the organizational commitment. For the purpose, survey were conducted with care givers working in long-term care facilities in Seoul, Gyeonggi-do and Incheon, and final data were resulted from analysis of 283 examines of those care givers. The findings of this study were as follows: first, transformational leadership of long-term care facilities had a significant influence on the job satisfaction and organizational commitment. Second, the care giver's empowerment had a influence on the job satisfaction and organizational commitment. Third, empowerment worked as mediators between the transformational leadership of long-term care facilities and care giver's job satisfaction and organizational commitment. Based upon these findings, we can propose practices towards improving a long-term care facilities administrator's transformational leadership and implication of program development and provide an institutional strategy aiming to care giver's empowerment improvement.

The purpose of this study is to examine how the long-term care effects the elderly that adapt themselves to the caring facility, what their experiences are and what kinds of behavioral characteristics they present. We have analyzed the research conducted on 15 elderly individuals who are living in an elderly long-term care facility, by using the grounded theory approach of Strauss and Corbin (1998). As a result, 170 concepts, 42 sub-categories, and 15 categories were set by the open coding process. During the adaptation process in a long-term care facility, the primary experience or feeling by the elderly is that they had been 'deserted'. However, when consolidating the casual conditions, contextual conditions, intervening conditions, the action/interaction strategy, and consequence, the primary experience was that the elderly came to an 'acceptance'. Such acceptance was then sub-categorized into a destiny-resignation type, reality-acceptance type, and voluntary-selection type. Based on the results of this study, we recommend practical alternatives which will improve surrounding circumstances including caring facilities, its employees, relationships with other elderly individuals, and family support.

The purpose of this research is to seek for principles and methods of multicultural mathematics teacher education. It began with an overview of theories of multicultural education and of multicultural teacher education in order to address the questions of what is the goal of multicultural education and what constitutes the competence of multicultural teachers. Then, cases of multicultural mathematics teacher education were reviewed. Based on that, this research identified three domains of teacher competence: domains of affect, of cognition, and of behavior. This paper also presented what constitutes each domains of competence and how to promote the development of each type of teachers' multicultural competence. This paper discussed implications to multicultural teacher education in Korean society.

This study aims to explore the effect of youth activity on aspects of individual, family, and school life on youths. Also, this study verifies the consideration of self-esteem as a mediated variable in reporting the effectiveness of youth activities. For the purpose, this study collected data from 1,088 high school and junior high school students in Jeollabuk-do, and performed a final data analysis from 1,063 of those students. SPSS 19.0 and Amos 18.0 were used to analyze the data. As the result of study, youth activities have a positive significant effect on individual, familial, and school life for the youth involved. The results also show that youth activity experiences contribute to self-esteem completely in the youths' individual aspect, and to partially in both familial and school life as well. This study suggested direction in conjunction with the activation of youth activities by analyzing the effectiveness of youth activities from a variety of viewpoints such as individual, familial, and school life for the youths involved.

This study examined the direct or indirect effects through burnout of sources of work stress of child welfare employees on turnover intentions. In addition, the study investigated the moderating effects of stress coping resources, which was hypothesized to buffer the negative effects of the sources of work stress on burnout. The study data were collected from 190 social workers in foster care services and child protective services. As a statistical method, structural equation model was employed. The study results showed that sources of work stress affect indirectly though raising the level of burnout. The study did not find the moderating effects of stress coping resources. Based on the results, implications for child welfare practice were discussed.

The purpose of this study is to verify the effect of SNS addiction on cyber-bullying among adolescents, considering the adjustment effect of friendship on this relationship. This study involved 811 middle/high school students with a gender distribution of 391 males and 420 females. According to the analysis, the higher the level of SNS addiction, the higher the level of cyber-bullying. A hierarchical regression analysis was conducted to verify the moderating effect of friendship. The result shows that better peer communication and reliance lowers the impact of cyber-bullying from SNS addiction. Based on research results suggesting the popularization of proactive pre-diagnosis programs to solve SNS addiction, practical intervention plans and the limitations of research on SNS addiction and cyber-bullying in youth are suggested.

The purpose of this study was to identify the caregiving reward of grandmothers raising their infant grandchildren and to examine factors influencing rewards in double-earner households. Data were collected from 323 grandmothers raising infant grandchildren who are under 6 years of age in double-earner households in Seoul, Gyeonggi-do and six metropolitan cities. According to the hierarchy multiple regression analysis, grandmothers' caregiving reward was found to be significantly high. It was also appeared that main factors of the rewards of grandmother were grandparents meaning, relationship with adult children and economic level. This study implies that improving grandparents meaning, relationship with adult children, and economic support may be a strategy to enhance the reward of grandmothers raising infant grandchildren. These findings suggest that there is a need to provide intervention and welfare policy for elderly caregiver.

This study is based on data ecology theory and takes Chinese local governments' open public data as the research object. Data asset value assessment methods are compared from a new perspective of data business operations. The results show that the assessment model constructed using the hierarchical analysis method (AHP) can more objectively reflect the commercial value of government open data assets than the traditional cost, revenue and market methods, has the advantage of a comprehensive assessment of data value index, and better reflects the findings of a comprehensive index of regional data value. The data show that the local government data value assessment index is positively proportional to the region's digital economy development index, highlighting the driving effect on the digital economy. The results of the study provide a good help for the identification of local government data value rights. The research and practice of promoting the construction of data innovation and data business operation models, improving social well-being and promoting the rapid development of the digital economy to achieve data realisation provides a good reference.

Professional ethics has received relatively little attention from scholarship in comparison with its practical needs. Professional ethics as an independent study of ethics is still underdeveloped in the sense that there is no theoretical unity. The purpose of this article is to lead to the fundamental importance of the professional ethics. More specifically, this article aims at clarifying the unified view of professional ethics through the detailed analysis of professionalism. Therefore, The main themes of this article are professionalism, conflicts between duties of professional roles and those of ordinary morality, the boundary of professional authority, the foundations of professional values and obligations, and the character of professional responsibility. The conclusion which is drawn from this study can be briefly stated as follows. Professionalism is an important social category, and professional should not isolate themselves from the public sphere. Thus, professional ethics that contains positive ethical standards should be built upon the basis of 'shared responsibility' which stimulate professional's moral commitment and institutional improvement.
