  • This study analyzed the effect of relational benefits that students of Makeup Beauty Academy perceive about Beauty Academy on brand image, trust and recommendation intention. The survey was conducted on students from five Beauty Academies in Seoul, Incheon and Gyeonggi Province. The analysis was done using SmartPLS 2.0, which enables simultaneous measurement of causal relationships, mutual influence and structural models among potential variables. According to the analysis, social benefits, economic benefits, and customization benefits, excluding psychological benefits, have a significant impact on the brand image. Psychological and economic benefits were found to have no significant impact on trust. Both brand image and trust were found to have a significant impact on the recommendation intention. Based on the results of the analysis, the implications necessary for the formation of customer relationships between the makeup-specialized Beauty Academy and the students were presented.

  • The purpose of this paper is illuminating positively the perception and compliance rate of local food principles in Korea. The results are as follows. First, in terms of the perception rate, social trust and local production/consumption are the most important components rather than eco-friendliness. This means the importance of both spatial and social aspects of local food concept. Second, in terms of the compliance rate, social trust and shortened food chain are well complied, rather than eco-friendliness and shortened food miles. Third, in terms of the difference between perception and compliance rate, the social aspects such as eco-friendliness, social trust, and shortened food chain has shown relatively smaller difference than the spatial aspects such as shortened food miles and local production/consumption.

  • The present paper examines trust, interpersonal relationship, and civil society in Scandinavia and East Asia. In the first section, the concepts of trust and democracy are defined. In the second section, the cultural transformations that paved the way for the development of democracy in the West and Scandinavia are reviewed. In the third section, the basis of trust and democracy in East Asia, focusing on Confucianism, is reviewed. In the fourth section, a review of an empirical study conducted with a national sample in Denmark, Sweden, Japan, and Korea is presented. The results indicate that both the Scandinavian and East Asian respondents support the basic ideas of liberal democracy and trust close ingroup members. East Asian respondents are less likely than Scandinavian respondents to trust their colleagues and outgroup members and much less likely to trust political and government institutions. Scandinavian respondents prefer tolerant leaders who lead by ideas, while Koreans prefer strong paternalistic and moral leaders. Japanese respondents are less supportive of paternalistic leaders. Overall, results indicate that in Scandinavia and East Asia, although the basic ideas about democracy and human rights are similar, the methods of implementing these ideas are different. When compared with Scandinavia, there is much lower transparency and accountability in East Asia. In the final section, the challenges that the modern democracies face are discussed.

  • Individual donors that are the social and financial base of organization finance are divided into prospect, current donors and lapsed donors. This study might be the first efforts in Korea, to reveal the characteristics and behavior of lapsed donors. We found that major reasons of giving lapse were financial inabilities and interest of other cause. However, many lapsed donors didn't give any more but moved to another nonprofit organization for donation. Moreover, their trust of ex-nonprofit organization has effected their decision to donate to other nonprofit organizations again or not. Therefore, donor services that improve donors' trust is important to maintain nonprofit sector' donor basis.

  • Recently, Corporate Social Responsibility(CSR) is essential firm activity to establish favorable firm true and sustainability management. However, there has been a controversy over the relationship between CSR and financial performance, also, it has been a little research that investigate relationship between CSR, firm reputation in firm level and firm true, firm loyalty in financial institution. This paper investigate empirically relationship between CSR activities, firm reputation and firm loyalty, moderating effect of firm true on the relationship between CSR activities, firm reputation and firm loyalty. Results were computed using SPSS 20.0 statistical analysis programs. The results are summarized as follows. First, The elements of CSR activities are divided into four factor, such as economic, ethical, consumer protection and environmental responsibilities. In the results of the analyses, consumer protection responsibility, economic reliability and business management skill positive affects the reliability of firm. Second, testing its mediating role, I use the three regression equation models by Baron and Kenny. When the mediator effect of firm true on firm loyalty was represented, the effect of CSR and firm reputation was statistically significant or diminished. Thus, the mediating role of firm true was supported. It means the higher the CSR and corporation reputation activities are, the higher the firm true is, further the higher level of firm true can enhance firm loyalty.

  • Consumer trust plays a crucial role in the development of the sharing economy. This study primarily focuses on the factors influencing consumer trust and examines the case of ofo, a former leader in China's bike-sharing industry. This paper analyzes the decline in consumer trust in ofo, which can be attributed to internal management issues and the near-bankruptcy situation. The "difficulty in refunds" issue faced by ofo since December 2018 has been growing continuously, and this study explores the factors influencing trust and distrust in this context. By considering product factors (quality), platform factors (payment security, privacy protection, reputation), and social factors (social norms, government regulation) as independent variables, the study analyzes the factors affecting consumer trust. The analysis results revealed that as consumers' distrust towards shared bikes increases, their switching intention also increases. The company's reputation and social norms were found to influence both trust and distrust, while government regulation was found to influence trust. The research findings provide insights relevant to sharing economy platforms and offer guidance for future studies.
