  • The government enforced policies such as social distancing and limiting business hours to prevent the spread of COVID-19. However, the impact of the long-term COVID-19 pandemic is causing more serious difficulties for small business owners. The government intended to relieve the business management pressure for small business owners by drawing up the COVID-19 emergency disaster relief funds. The funds provided temporary support for the small business owners, but the prolonged pandemic worsened the business management difficulties. Therefore, this study will apply fixes that fail and shifting the burden archetypes from the system archetype of system thinking for the exploratory deduction of policy measures as the policy leverage to effectively enhance the recovery of small business owners. In response to the situation, emergency financial aid for small business owners and support that can enhance the self-sustaining powers are required to heighten the recovery of small business owners.

  • The COVID-19 pandemic has significantly changed the landscape of knowledge and information services that public libraries around the world have been providing since modern times. In particular, as social distancing has become routine, the contraction of cultural activities and the shift to online platforms have negatively impacted library visitation and use services, greatly reducing borrowing and reading, use of spaces and facilities, interlibrary loan services, program operations, and outreach services. Therefore, this study investigated and analyzed the current status of services provided by public libraries in Korea and abroad in response to COVID-19, and proposed practical ways to improve and expand services in response to COVID-19 based on the results of a survey of librarians' perceptions. Specifically, these include improving the online reservation system for reading and borrowing services and developing and providing various outreach services, acquiring and expanding electronic resources, expanding online program services (reading, culture, lifelong learning, etc.), strengthening library services for vulnerable populations, providing information portal services related to new infectious diseases, strengthening facilities and space provision services, preparing infectious disease response guidelines, and providing education and training to strengthen librarians' capabilities.

  • Since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, there has been a significant shift in the lifestyle patterns of the populace across various domains. Concerns surrounding COVID-19 have emerged as pivotal catalysts of change in recreational habits with people giving a particular preference for environments with low population density and increased openness. This trend has resulted in an uptick in excursions to natural reserves, coastlines, and parks. However, during the peak of infectious outbreaks, widespread adherence to social distancing measures has precipitated a steep decline in tourist footfall across natural recreation forests, exacerbating financial deficits to a considerable extent. Thus, this research sought to compare and analyze the operational efficacy and productivity of national, public, and private natural recreation forests pre- and post-COVID-19 pandemic by utilizing non-parametric methodologies, such as data envelopment analysis and the Malmquist productivity index analysis. The objective was to identify the factors contributing to the decreases in efficiency and productivity and ultimately offer nuanced recommendations tailored to respective administrative bodies. This study's distinctive focus on the analysis of management efficiency and productivity in natural recreation forests nationwide offers significant academic and practical relevance.

  • In this study, by examining the actual usage data of the university library website before and after COVID-19 outbreak, the usage behavior of users was analyzed, and the data before and after the virus outbreak was compared, so that university libraries can provide more efficient information services in a pandemic situation. We would like to suggest ways to improve it. In this study, the user traffic made on the website of University C was 'using Google Analytics', from January 2018 to December 2018 before the oneself of the COVID-19 virus and from January 2020 to 2020 after the outbreak of the virus. A comparative analysis was conducted until December. Web traffic variables were analyzed by classifying them into three characteristics: 'User information', 'Path', and 'Site behavior' based on metrics such as session, user, number of pageviews, number of pages per session time, and bounce rate. To summarize the study results, first, when compared with data from January 1 to January 20 before the oneself of COVID-19, users, new visitors, and sessions all increased compared to the previous year, and the number of sessions per user, number of pageviews, and number of pages per session, which showed an upward trend before the virus outbreak in 2020, increased significantly. Second, as social distancing was upgraded to the second stage, there was also a change in the use of university library websites. In 2020 and 2018, when the number os students was the lowest, the number of page views increased by 100,000 more in 2020 compared to 2018, and the number of pages per session also recorded10.46, which was about 2 more pages compared to 2018. The bounce rate also recorded 14.38 in 2018 and 2019, but decreased by 1 percentage point to 13.05 in 2020, which led to more active use of the website at a time when social distancing was raised.

  • Purpose: This study aims to understand the effect of attitudes toward COVID-19, subjective norms, and intentions toward social distancing as a preventative measure for COVID-19 in nursing university students, and to provide basic data for COVID-19 prevention. Methods: A cross-sectional study design was used in this study. The participants included 169 nursing students at a university in G city. Data were collected from 22 May 2020 to 1 June 2020. A self-report questionnaire was used. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, Pearson correlation coefficients, and multiple regression analyses with the IBM/SPSS 26.0 for Window Program. Results: Intention was the most influential factor on social distancing (β=.29, p=.002), followed by the number of breakfasts per week (β=.18, p=.005), school grade (β=-.16, p<.001), and smoking status (β=-.13, p=.046). These variables explained 35.0% of factors influencing social distancing (F=12.24, p<.001). Conclusion: The results of this study are meaningful and present a direction for nursing students and future medical personnel to effectively perform social distancing. It is necessary to educate nursing students so that they can practice proper health care habits and intentions for social distancing.

  • The number of people infected with Covid-19 in Korea seemed to be gradually decreasing thanks to various efforts such as social distancing and vaccines. However, just as the number of infected people increased after a particular incident on February 20, 2020, the number of infected people has been increasing rapidly since December 2020 by approximately 500 per day. Therefore, the future Covid-19 is predicted through the Prophet algorithm using Kaggle's dataset, and the explanatory power for this prediction is added through the coefficient of determination, mean absolute error, mean percent error, mean square difference, and mean square deviation through Scikit-learn. Moreover, in the absence of a specific incident rapidly increasing the cases of Covid-19, the proposed method predicts the number of infected people in Korea and emphasizes the importance of implementing epidemic prevention and quarantine rules for future diseases.

  • The purpose of this study was to explore what social media posts tell us about family life during the COVID-19 pandemic by examining the keywords and topics underlying posts on blogs and online forums. Our criteria for web crawling were (a) blog and forum posts on Naver and Daum, the top portal sites in Korea, (b) posts between February 23 and April 19, 2020, the period of the first heightened social distancing orders, and (c) inclusion of "COVID" and "family" or "COVID" and "home." We analyzed 351,734 posts using TF-IDF values and topic modeling based on latent Dirichlet allocation. We identified and named 22 topics including COVID-19 prevention, family infection, family health, dietary life and changes, religious life, stuck at home, postponed school year, family events, travel and vacations, concerns about family and friends, anxiety and stress, disaster and damage, COVID-19 warning text messages, family support policies, Shin-cheon-ji and Daegu. The results show that COVID-19 impacted various domains of family life including health, food, housing, religion, child care, education, rituals, and leisure as well as relationships and emotions.

  • This study was conducted to determine the extent to which music and art education had an effect on relieving depression and stress caused by COVID-19 and social distancing for teenagers in Seoul. To this end, with the cooperation of the Seoul Metropolitan Office of Education, an official document was issued to elementary, middle, and high schools in Seoul, and a study on the current status of about 1,745 students was conducted. Therefore, this study intends to prove through this study that music activity can significantly contribute to relieving depression and stress in adolescents on the basis that COVID-19 has a significant effect on the induction of depression and stress in adolescents. To this end, based on previous research, while examining the changes in the psychological state of Koreans due to COVID-19, we would like to analyze the depression and stress of adolescents intensively. And by experiencing music activities, it will be confirmed that depression and stress caused by COVID-19 can be relieved to a large extent through physiological and emotional changes. Furthermore, based on the survey, we intend to suggest that music activities will help adolescents to improve their emotional stability, cultural sensitivity, and self-esteem, and ultimately develop into healthy cultural people in terms of education.
