This study aims to analyze a whole network effectiveness by expanding the unit of analysis beyond individual organizations in a network into network-level collaborative relations. Data for the analysis were drawn from the evaluation reports and surveys of leaders, mid-level managers, and staff members of the organizations participating in 'Community Network Building' project which was funded by Community Chest of Korea and carried out by the Academy of Korean Social Welfare Administration from November 2006 to November 2009. For the analysis, three out of the 10 networks established in diverse local communities were selected. Based on the survey conducted on the participating organizations and the center organization of each network, we analyzed the structural characteristics of interorganizational network at a network-level. Second, to analyze effectiveness of the whole network, we employed a multiple stakeholders perspective and examined the relations between the whole network's structure and its effectiveness. The findings showed that the whole network effectiveness is higher when the network is more centralized around the hub organization and more stable. The significance of this study is that it is provided and tested a new framework for network effectiveness evaluation by combining the two network effectiveness evaluation framework of Provan and Milward's with evolutionary organizational theory.

지식 네트워크 (knowledge network) 구축은 지식의 재사용을 통하여 조식의 효율성을 개선시키고 지식 레버리지를 통하여 혁신을 촉진한다는 점에서 지식관리의 핵심적 요소이다. 본 연구는 (1) 개인이 집단 내 외에서 맺고 있는 지식 네트워크가 팀의 객관적, 주관적 성과에 미치는 영향을 고찰하고, (2) IT 활용이 지식 네트워크의 효과성을 어떻게 조절하는 가에 대해서 실증 함으로써, (3) 지식 네트워크 구축, IT 활용, 그리고 팀 성과 간의 관계에 대하여 학문적, 실무적 시사점을 제시하고자 한다. 먼저 사회 네트워크 이론을 바탕으로 지식 네트워크의 집단 내부 결속과 외부 매개성을 통합하는 이론적 프레임워크를 개발하고 국내 5개 컨설팅 업체의 172명의 컨설턴트와 42개 프로젝트 팀을 대상으로 사회 네트워크 분석 (Social Network Analysis)을 실시하였다. 분석 결과는 지식 네트워크의 내부 결속(네트워크의 밀도)과 팀 성과의 선형적인 관계를 지지하였으며, 외부 매개성은 직접적으로 팀 성과에 영향을 미치지 않았으나 팀 수준의 IT 활용 (공동체적인 컴퓨터 매체의 활용)과 상호작용을 통해서 팀의 성과를 실질적으로 향상시키는 것으로 나타났다.

본 연구는 사회연결망 분석이론을 통해 원자력 과학기술에 대한 사회과학 연구의 경향적 특징을 파악하고, 동 분야의 주요 연구주제와 하부 연구분야를 도출하기 위해 수행되었다. 연구대상은 1957년부터 2016년까지 국내 학술지에 게재된 원자력 관련 사회과학 분야 연구논문 605건으로, 저자가 제시한 키워드 간 관계망 형성을 통해 네트워크 분석을 수행하였다. 분석결과, 첫째 국내에서 수행된 원자력 관련 사회과학 연구의 기술통계적 특징을 확인하였다. 원자력 사회과학 연구는 1957년부터 시작되어 꾸준히 수행되어졌는데, 2011년을 기점으로 논문발표가 급격히 증가했다. 주로 법학, 행정학, 정책학, 정치학의 연구가 대학 내 연구자를 중심으로 수행되어 왔다. 원자력 관련 기술개발이 주로 정부 출연연구기관에서 수행된다는 점을 고려 했을 때, 향후 사회과학 분야에 있어 대학과 출연기관 간의 역할분담이 필요하다. 둘째, 후쿠시마 원전사고가 발생한 2011년을 기점으로 사회과학의 원자력에 관한 연구가 양적, 질적으로 본격적으로 활성화 되었다. 원자력 관련 사회과학 지식 네트워크는 2011년 이전에 비해 규모면에서 큰 차이를 보였다. 또한, 네트워크 중심성 분석결과, 후쿠시마 사고 이전 사회과학 연구자들의 연구경향은 핵비확산, 과학기술 정책, 사회수용성이었다면, 후쿠시마 이후에는 원전해체, 손해배상, 에너지믹스, 탈핵운동 등과 같은 다양한 원자력 현안으로 확대되었다. 셋째, 하부 연구분야 도출을 통해 특정 연구주제별 쏠림현상을 확인했다. 하부 네트워크 분석 결과, 제시된 9개의 하부 연구분야는 네트워크 속성 값에서 차이를 보였다. 특히, 법학 관련 연구주제가 가장 높은 밀도를 갖는 반면 지속가능 발전과 에너지 믹스 관련 연구주제의 밀도가 가장 낮게 나타났다. 본 연구는 원자력에 관련된 학자의 인식을 연구경향 분석을 통해 파악한다는 점에서 의의가 있으며, 이는 추후 원자력 관련 정책연구자 혹은 정책결정자에게 유용한 기초자료를 제공할 것이라 기대된다.

저고용을 통한 고효율로 기업생산성을 추구하는 결과, 야기되는 고용의 불균형을 타개하기 위해 2007년 정부는 사회적 기업 육성법을 통해 사회적 기업을 장려하고 있다. 뿐 만 아니라 전 세계적 으로도 사회적 기업에 관련된 연구를 미국의 로버츠 재단, 영국의 Social Firms, EMES European Research Network 등이 중심이 되어 사회적 기업의 생존 전략과 사회적 자본 활용을 통한 발전방법을 모색하고 있다. 본 연구는 이러한 세계적인 추세에 발맞추어 사회적 기업 발전에 필요한 기업생존, 고용증대, 매출증대, 권한위임을 종속변수로 Granovetter Mark, Burt Ronald, Coleman James, Peter Witt, Andreas Schroeter, Christin Merz, Helen Haugh 등의 연구를 참고하여 독립변수인 네트워크다양성과 강도가 어떻게 작용하는지를 먼저 실증 분석하고 나아가 네트워크의 효율적인 운영을 통하여 사회적 기업 발전을 극대화시키는데 연구목적이 있다. 그리고 본연구의 대상은 2009년 현재 국내의 295개 사회적 기업 가운데 전문가의 추천을 받은 25개 회사로 이루어졌으며 SPSS 12.0으로 요인분석, 타당성, 신뢰성, 상관관계 등의 분석을 거쳐 다중회귀분석을 통하여 가설을 검증하였다. 검증의 결과 기업생존, 고용증대, 매출증대, 권한위임 전 과정에 네트워크가 필요하며 특히, 기업생존을 위해서는 네트워크강도에 관련된 요인을 매출증대를 위해서는 네트워크다양성에 관련된 요인을 잘 관리하고 유지 발전시켜야 함을 알 수 있었다. 끝으로 본 연구의 결과가 사회적 기업 창업을 준비 중인 국내의 많은 회사나 비영리법인, 사회단체가 계속기업으로 발전해 가기위한 사회적 자본 활용 전략에 많은 도움을 줄 수 있을 것으로 생각한다.

본 연구는 지속가능한 물류활동에서 관심을 받고 있는 내항해운(연안해운)의 물류네트워크를 파악하기위한 기초분석으로서 연안여객항로에 관하여 네트워크를 파악하였다. 최근에 기존의 계량적 통계분석방법을 뛰어넘어 존재하고 있는 구조와 실체를 파악하기위해 사회연결망분석이 도입되고 있는 상황에서, 우리나라 연안해운항로의 네트워크를 파악하고자 하였다. 내항해운은 화물운송과 여객운송으로 구별되나 본 연구에서는 화물선만 고려하였다. 국가물류통합정보센터와 해운항만물류정보시스템을 활용하여 한국의 내항해운의 중심성을 분석하였다. 중심성 분석을 위해서 화물선 출입항 척수와 화물처리량을 변수로 사용하여 Pajek과 UCINET 등의 SNA 프로그램을 이용한 결과 내항해운 네트워크를 도식화하고 파악하였다. 결과적으로 네트워크의 node에 해당하는 항만 중에서 어떤 항만이 가장 중요한 노드인지를 찾고, 네트워크 구조가 얼마나 소수의 중요한 항만에게 집중되는 것인지를 확인하기 위하여 중심성 분석을 통해 파악하였다.

From a social network of n nodes connected by l lines, one may produce centrality measures such as closeness, betweenness and so on. In the past, the magnitude of n was around 1,000 or 10,000 at most. Nowadays, some networks have 10,000, 100,000 or even more than that. Thus, the scalability issue needs the attention of researchers. In this short paper, we explore random networks of the size around n = 100,000 by Monte-Carlo method and propose Monte-Carlo algorithms of computing closeness and betweenness centrality measures to study the small world properties of social networks.

The purpose of this study is a qualitative Study for development of measuring social capital in community. The indicator of social capital in this paper was developed through 1) literature review 2) in-depth interview with community welfare network members 3) a qualitative Study for concept development in light of social capital about trust, norms, networks 4) focus-group meeting for content validity verification 5) a pilot-study and 6) a questionnaire survey. The indicator of 79 items for has been constructed with three features : The first is 'trust' with 30 items; the second 'norm' with 22 items; and the third 'network' with 27 items. Cronbach's alpha estimate of the indicator of trust was .948, norms were .899 and networks were .906. This study has been revealed to the reliability and validity and therefor it was an appropriate measurement of social capital in community. The social capital scale developed in this study is useful to be objective about operating condition of community welfare network and to seek ways for pursuing more efficient operations.

In spite of theoretical logics about the necessities and effects of community networking, we have easily watched the failure of netwoking efforts and break of community networks in everyday life. Starting from these experiences, I tried to understand the process of community networking from the networkers'point of view, by the qualitative research method. Through qualitative in-depth interviews on the 6 experienced social workers in 4 communities, I analyzed their experiences of community network building, presented the results(practical guidelines), especially for the social workers expecting to be a community netwoker themselves. They consist of 10 categories and 5 themes(Being a leader/leaderships, partnership/teamwork building, understanding the impact of context, resource usage, netwoking sustaining).

급변하는 환경변화에 따라 해상화물 네트워크의 구조에 대한 정밀한 분석과 발전방향에 대한 예측의 필요성이 제기되고 있다. 사회연결망 분석인 SNA 분석을 통해 글로벌 해상 물류네트워크의 변화 특성을 분석하였다.
