Korea society has become a multicultural society by the mid-1990s. It is difficult to adapt to multicultural youth social acceptance without contrast. In particular, Multicultural youth compared to the general characteristics of the home environment was much influenced by the growth. Multicultural youth has plain color, Eye color that general problems of the exchange is not easy, family-friendly social life, make friends and influence more than the home was subjected to environmental impact. In other words, parenting is influenced by the family-friendly social life. multi-cultural families many of the country are concentrated in low-income. Consequently, the home environment is affected by property delinquency. This study was research targeting multicultural youth.

This study was to examine the causal relationships among extraneous variables, social participation, and life satisfaction among the elderly persons. This study analyzed 4014 elderly persons out of 2010 KLoSA. The path analysis and mediating effects were examined by AMOS. Except educational level, family income, health status, functional capacities, K-MMSE, and CES-D10 were direct effects on the life satisfaction among the elderly persons. The mediating effects of causal meeting activities, leisure activities, and membership based activities were significant on life satisfaction. This study proposed implications of improving life satisfaction for the elderly through utilizing of social participation activities.

This study is to investigate the effect of lower extremity strength exercise using biofeedback system on community-based elderly. Ten community-based elderly were exercised using the biofeedback system (with functional electrical stimulation) three times a week for six weeks. Data analysis was performed using Wilcoxon signed rank test. Physical function improved significantly, but there was no significant difference in muscle strength and muscle mass. Although elderly people were able to confirm that community-based ICT home biofeedback training could be possible and could lead to improvements in the lower extremity function, further research is needed to demonstrate a clearer effect by expanding the target population, distinguishing the sexes, and providing a personalized training method.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship among ALD/IADL, social activity participation, elder abuse and the depression of the older-elderly. It was focused on the mediating effect of social activity participation and elder abuse between ADL/IADL and depression. For these purposes, 603 older-elderly in Chonbuk province were interviewed using structured questionaire. Major finding of this study are as follow : First, the depression level of the older-elderly was very high. Second, ADL/IADL influences the depression directly and indirectly. Third, social activity participation has the mediating effect between ADL/IADL and the depression. Fourth, elder abuse has the mediating effect between ADL/IADL and the depression. Result indicate that lower ADL/IADL, social activities and elder abuse related negatively to depression. On the basis of these results, implications for policy and practice are suggested for prevention the depression of the older-elderly.

The aim of this study is to examine the effects of the supervision process and functions in social welfare practice on the supervision satisfaction of social workers and their customer orientation. For this, 196 social workers were asked to answer to the questionnaire and their responses were analyzed. The courses between variables were analyzed using structural equation model. The findings from this study show that the supervision process impact on supervision satisfaction, but didn't influence customer orientation. The functions of supervision positively impacted on both supervision satisfaction and customer orientation. Furthermore, the supervision process and functions influence customer orientation with supervision satisfaction as a mediating factor. In addition. this study proposes a supervision practice system as a means to provide customer-oriented service to clients.
