History Management Technology of Building Construction and Maintenance Using Vector Photo Information and BIM (벡터사진 정보와 BIM을 활용한 건축물의 시공·유지관리 이력관리기술)

  • Recently proposed intelligent images are generating, storing and managing along with existing image information and 5W1H information. Therefore, these vector images can be useful in searching and managing photos taking during building construction and maintenance processes. In addition, when the vector photos, a key to the intelligent image, is linked with BIM, it is possible to find BIM objects by utilizing information included in vector photos. And if the taken vector photo is saved as attributes of the extracted object, the vector photo can be managed as the historical data. Furthermore, this new technology will contribute to make the management of construction information more efficiently. This study is about the development of the technology of extracting BIM objects from vector photo information and managing the attributes of the extracted objects. Also the prototype modules was developed and tested to evaluate the processes of setting reference points, converting coordinate system, calculating positions, and so on. Through these processes, it was confirmed that the possibility of extracting BIM objects from vector photos and of managing attribute data of objects.

  • 본 논문은 주민등록증의 정보와 본인 생체 지문으로 본인임을 확인하는 알고리즘을 제안한다. 기존의 본인 확인 방법은 주민등록증의 사진과 실물사진을 육안으로 판별한다. 이러한 판별 방법의 문제점은 주민등록증 발급 시의 사진과 현재의 본인 얼굴과의 차이점이 많을 때 본인임에도 판별이 불가능한 경우도 발생하고 주민등록중의 훼손으로 판별이 불가능할 수 가 있다. 이러한 단점을 본 알고리즘에서는 생체인식기술인 지문인식과 문자인식기술을 접목하여 주민등록상의 지문이미지와 지문입력기에서 입력받은 생체지문을 비교판별하고 주민등록증 발급 시 입력한 지문과도 비교 판별함으로써 보다 확실한 본인 확인방법을 제공한다.

  • Photogrammetry is a non-direct 3-dimensional coordinate measurement technique using 2-dimensional photographic images. For reconstruction 3-dimensional data from the 2-dimensional photos, photogrammetry uses the fundamental principle of triangulation. Digital photogrammetry solve for the camera location and coordinates simultaneously through the mapping, scaling and bundle processing in software processing. In this paper, several applications for photogrammetry measurement are introduced, such as 'photogrammetric measurement of the gravity deformation of a cassegrain type antenna', 'analysis of photogrammetry data from ISIM mockup', 'underwater photogrammetric verification of nuclear fuel assemblies', 'spacecraft optical bench measurement' and 'spacecraft ground support equipment measurement'.

Implementation of Digital Photo Frame using Embedded Linux System (임베디드 리눅스 시스템을 이용한 디지털 사진 액자 구현)

  • In this paper, we describe the implementation of the digital photo frame system that displays the images coming through the memory card of a digital camera. Each image can be recorded with voice in this system, and a function of the mp3 player is implemented as well. We use Intel PXA255 to control the system and modify the bootloader and linux kernel. Also we adapt device driver for this system. For the realization of image display, voice recording and mp3 playing in the basis of the linux system, we program some of the Microwindows system configuration files and program applications here. This study will be a good example to access the development of the digital photo frame based on the linux system using less-power and high performed embedded processor.

  • 현대 사회의 발전으로 인해 사람들의 삶의 질이 향상됨에 따라 사람들은 다양한 방식으로 자신 및 자신의 개성을 표출하려는 시도를 한다. 특히 IT 기술의 발전은 가상현실 및 3D 기술의 성장을 이끌어냈다. 본 논문은 다가올 4차 산업혁명에 발맞추어 사용자의 개성을 표출할 실용적이고 개성 있는 3D 모델링 아이디어를 제안하고자 한다. 스마트폰 사진 촬영과 동시에 사용자가 선택한 다른 캐릭터 사진과의 합성 사진을 Convolutional Neural Network (CNN)과 Generative Adversarial Network (GAN) 기반 딥러닝 기술을 통해 생성한다. 생성된 이미지는 사용자의 모습과 합성의 대상이 되는 캐릭터의 모습을 동시에 담고 있다. 본 연구의 결과물로 생성된 합성 사진을 3D 프린터를 이용하여 자신만의 모습이 담긴 굿즈를 생산 혹은 이모티콘을 생성하는 등 다양한 실용적인 응용분야에 적용 가능하다.

A Study on the Problem for discussion about Photogeography (사진지리학의 역할과 범위)

  • The purpose of this study is to scientifically establish the concepts of photogeography, and to present desirable directions for the pursuit of photogeography in Korea. Photogeography is to effectively utilize the documentary and artistic nature of the photo, as an image medium, in the geographic study. The concept of photogeography, along with the term photogeology, is already known widely in foreign countries, and extensive research has been carried out in the field. However, here in Korea, nobody knows the concept of photogeography. Since photogeography has not been systemized as a science, and interest in photography is being minimal, photography, in reality, has in no way been utilized effectively. The photographs used in Photogeography can be classified, according to character, into two major categories, geographic photographs and general photographs, and, according to subject and camera, into still photographs and dynamic photographs. Photographs, such single photographs, slides, air photographs and satellite photographs are in the category of still photographs, while pictures like video and movie pictures are dynamic photographs.

  • Consumers changed to the subject to produce a digital contents as data transmission technique is advanced and a digital machine is diffused variously. Users are interested greatly in a user creative movie (UCM) production among various online contents. The UCM production method which uses the music and picture is the method that users make the UCM more easily. However, the UCM production service has the problem that any association does not exist in the music and picture and that the picture changes according to fixed time interval without the relation at a music rhythm. To solve this problem, we propose the UCM production method which uses a music analysis and picture analysis in the paper. A music analysis finds a picture change time according to the rhythm and a picture analysis finds the association of the picture. A music analysis finds strong parts of the sound which uses Root-Mean-Square (RMS). And a picture analysis classifies the picture as a scenery picture and people picture which uses structure simplicity of the picture(SSP) and face region detection. A picture analysis got correct result of 86.4% in the experiment and we can finds the association at each picture and arranges the sequence which the picture appears. Therefore, if we use a music and picture analysis at the UCM production, users may make natural and efficient movie.

  • 아시아를 대표하는 사진영상축제인 '2012 서울국제사진영상기자재전'(이하 P&I 2012)이 지난 4월 26일부터 29까지 나흘간의 일정으로 서울 삼성동 소재 Coex 전시장 본관 1층 A홀에서 화려하게 펼쳐졌다. 올해로 21회를 맞이한 이번 전시회에서는 삼성을 비롯해 캐논, 니콘, 소니, 올림푸스, 파나소닉, 후지필름 등 디지털 카메라 제조사와 프린터 및 주변기기, 사진 액세서리 업체 등 세계 18개국 117개사가 참가해 최첨단 디지털 이미징 기술을 선보였으며 사진문화산업의 트렌드를 한눈에 볼 수 있는 다양한 영상기기와 응용 기자재도 출품하였다. 전시기간 동안에는 총 7만 4000여 명의 참관객이 다녀간 것으로 나타나 카메라를 비롯한 사진영상분야에 대한 소비자들의 뜨거운 관심도를 재확인할 수 있었다.

  • 최근 들어 위치기반 지도 서비스는 급격하게 활성화된 사업 영역으로 지역광고 등 많은 수익원을 창출하고 있다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 지도 서비스에 핵심기술 중 하나로 사용되고 있는 스트리트뷰, 로드뷰의 파노라마 사진 지원 서비스를 스마트폰에서 지원할 수 있는 시스템을 설계하기 위한 연구를 수행하고자 한다. 이를 위해 스마트폰을 기반으로 사용자들이 쉽게 파노라마 사진을 제작할 수 있도록 사진 촬영 가이드를 제공하고 여러 장의 사진에서 불필요한 부분을 제거하고 사진 연결 부분의 자연스러움 등을 처리하는 알고리즘을 적용하여 한 장의 사진으로 제공할 수 있는 방식에 대해 제안하고자 한다.

How Digital Camera Has Changed Photographers? A Phenomenological Approach of Digital Labor (디지털 사진 이후 사진가들의 변화 현상학적 접근을 중심으로)

  • This study examines photographers who experienced steep changes from film to digital photography working and photography culture after using digital camera through a phenomenological approach. Digital technologies have brought many transition. Most of all digital camera popularize photography among people who had no knowledge and experience about camera. On the contrary digital photography made many professional photographers difficulties. After being digital photography, most film companies and film developing and printing studios have diminished. In addition many professional photographers have to cover increasing working time by decreasing photography price. For this research researcher interviewed 12 professional photographers who is working as a digital photographer. After collecting data, researcher analyse data by phenomenological approach. This study is looking for a meaning of photographers' labor after digital photography times.
