The purpose of this study is to build a special -purpose browser using the powerful Microsoft web browser control so that we will be able to code and create a special-purpose browser. For this development, some literature surveys were reviewed to understand how the web browser looks like and is operated. To create our own web browser, we have designed a sample case and coded in Visual Basic. The primary task of this job was accomplished mainly with a form. It is made up with a bunch of image controls, a status bar on the button, a picture box to contain the image buttons, the combo box, the command button, the menus, the statements shown in the following exhibits and tables of the main text respectively. After combining them all together, we have tested the form to see if it works properly.'rho program was also enhanced to have a special purpose feature that permits the filtering function. The result was somewhat successful. However, it had some limitations such as the simplicity of the programming structures and functions. Overall, this study was useful for understand a general outline of special-purpose web browser development.

In web environment, we accept most of useful information visually. Icon is a channel through which we explore information, and we need icon design to deliver information clearly and quickly to users who accept information visually. Studies on icon have been carried out vigorously according to system environment, styles and characteristics of users. This study is on the metaphor icon, and judging from the characteristics of metaphor icon, it is by the phenomena of user's association of ideas. Divide metaphor and simile and analyzed metaphor icon that is searched in World Wide Web to distinguish similarity in metaphor icon special qualify, And I clarified the present condition of cognition by questionnaires asking people if they recognize the function. I also clarified if elements of icon design influence the level of user's cognition by visually comparing icons. The result of comparative analysis showed that different elements make different level of user's cognition, and to objectify it more, I made up questionnaires about elements of icon design and proved it again. To summarize the result of this study, the similarity between function and elements of design increases the level of recognition of metaphor icon proportionally. To improve user's cognition, I suggest designing with elements which materialize functions.

There are many internet users who collect the public opinions and express their opinions for internet news or blog articles through the replying comment on online community. But, it is hard to search and explore useful messages on web blogs since most of web blog systems show articles and their comments to the form of sequential list. Also, spam and malicious comments have become social problems as the internet users increase. In this paper, we propose a clustering and visualizing system for responding comments on large-scale weblogs, namely 'Daum AGORA,' using similarity analysis. Our system shows the comment clustering result as a simple screen view. Our system also detects spam comments using Needleman-Wunsch algorithm that is a well-known algorithm in bioinformatics.

A researcher, who is a member of an academic society, is required to write a report on his or her research and present it at an academic workshop in order to have the contents of the research recognized by others. In order to do that, the researcher frequently has to look up the web pages of each workshop for information such as the submission deadline, paper information, announcements and news. On the other hand, the academic society mostly relies on e-mail or bulletin board to send information about itself to its members to inform its members about its latest news or developments. A system where the researcher can gain all the information required through just a single click and the academic society can provide its members with the necessary information through a simple step is required for the ease of both side. We will take a look at the domestic status of researches being done on such systems where the RSS standard has been applied and suggest a RSS-based dissemination model where the concept of personalization has been applied to satisfy the needs of the individual user.

As the use of internet and mobile devices became generalized, users utilizing search and recommendation in order to find the information they want in the midst of various websites have become common. In order to recommend more appropriate item for users, this paper proposes a recommendation technique that reflects the users' preference change following the flow of time by applying users' activity and time information. The proposed technique, after classifying the data in categories including the tag information that is considered at the time of choosing the items, only uses the data that users' preference change following the flow of time is reflected. For the users who prefer the corresponding category, the item that is extracted by applying tag information to collaboration filtering technique is recommended and for general users, items are recommended based on the ranking calculated by using the tag information. The proposed technique was experimented by using hetrec2011-movielens-2k data set. The experiment result indicated that the proposed technique has been more enhanced the accuracy, appropriacy, compared to item-based, user-based method.

The industry information grows faster than any other information resources in the Internet age. Unfortunately, however, there is no consensus on the standard of the classification among the information providers of the industry fields. This may a problematic issue not only in building a continuous and systematic development of the industry information, but also in the use of the information among the users. This study aims to propose a well-structured and/or an efficient classification scheme for the industry information to help the users with easy to retrieve the Internet resources. To do this, we analyzed the subject classification scheme of the domestic industry information on the web sites, which is largely adopted the \"Korean Standard for the Industry Classification\". In addition, we suggested the principle of the subject classification and their hierarchial structure derived from the analysis of the knowledge and document classification scheme. As a result, it was suggested an optimized industry classification scheme based on the analysis of the validity test of classification item measured by the quantitative analysis of the industry information, which it currently accessible through the Internet. Purpose: The purpose of this study was to analyze current status of the web-sites dealing with oriental obstetrics & gynecology in the internet, and to evaluate their quality and confidence of health information. Methods: It was selected 54 local sites by searching for such key words as menstrual pain. The evaluation tool consisted of six major classification (Content, Authorship, Purpose, Functionality, Feedback and Privacy). Results: In the evaluation of web-sites, the lowest and the highest scores were 7 and 19 out of 26, and the average score was 13.94. The scores of Purpose, Content, Feedback were higher than the average, but the scores of Authorship, Functionality, Privacy were lower than the average. Conclusion: There is a need to develop a high-quality information about latest, confidence, authorship of documents, and to prevent a exposure of privacy.

As people are highly interested in health, the number of people who participate in various sports programs is getting increased. But there is no web service which integrates all the information of the public sports facilities in Seoul and it's convenient to use the public sport facilities. So we propose an integrated information system whoever can find the public sports facilities in Seoul. The public APIs for the Seoul public sports facilities provided by Seoul city are used to integrate the information. Also, our web page provides various graphic function using pictures and videos of the facilities on the environment of HTML5. And it is the responsive webpage which can be provided on both desktop and mobile environment. By implementing the wizard page, the managers of the facilities who are not specialized can renew the information about their facilities easily. And for the easier searching, we provides three options of searching: local, subjects, themes.

Recently, consumer who has a desire to spend less money want to buy a cheap and good product because of long economy recession. Secondhand trading is regarded as a good method which allows people to buy cheap and good product. Activation of secondhand trading reduces the psychological distance among customers. Especially, in the case of expensive books such as major books, each university has community only for used book trading. However, existing used book community is hard to find current real-time trading state at a look, and it is impossible to purchase reasonably because of a one-way pricing of the seller. In this paper, we design and implement a used book trading web service using an auction system which can help anyone to trade used book easily. It is designed web based system and it provides convenience to user through efficient book registration function and book search function.

Background: With the development of information and communication technology, there is a growing number of people looking for health information on the internet. This pilot study was performed to analyze the pattern of pharmacist consultation on the internet portal site. Methods: Questions and answers posted on the portal site "Naver Jisik-iN" from March 1st to 31th in 2016 were collected. Medications asked were categorized into prescription drugs, nonprescription drugs, sanitary aids, emergency drugs, functional health foods, and others. Medications were subcategorized into 14 according to the anatomical therapeutic chemical classification system. Questions were divided into 10 categories based on Hepler's drug-related problems. Results: Of the 955 cases, females accounted for 59.5% and inquirers from 11 to 40 years old, 89.4%. The number of prescription drugs, nonprescription drugs, sanitary aids, emergency drugs, functional health foods, and others were 428 (44.8%), 328 (34.3%), 31 (3.3%), 2 (0.2%), 122 (12.8%), and 44 (4.6%), respectively. Questions for drugs acting on alimentary tract and metabolism took up 27.4% followed by those on nervous system, 13.6% and anti-infectives for systemic use, 12.2%. Pharmacist consultation regarding drug information, drug interaction, and adverse reaction occupied 47.9%, 15.2%, and 12.3%, respectively. Conclusion: Health counseling through online is predicted to increase steadily, so pharmacists should broaden their boundaries beyond off-line pharmacies to meet social needs.
