Dynamical Nuclear Waste Assessment Using the Information Feedback Oriented Algorithm Applicable to the Internet of Things(IoT) (사물 인터넷 (IoT)에 적용할 수 있는 정보 피드백 지향 알고리즘을 사용한 동적 핵폐기물 평가)

  • Following the advanced fuel cycle initiative (AFCI) promotions in the United States, the analytic proposition for global fuel cycle initiative (GFCI) has been investigated using dynamical simulations. The political and economic aspects are considered simultaneously due to the particular characteristics of the nuclear materials. The spent nuclear fuels (SNFs) are treated as the reprocessing by the nuclear non-proliferation treaty (NPT) exemption nations and the NPT excluded nations. Otherwise, the pyroprocessing and repository can be done without NPT restriction. In addition, the international trade is considered as the economic aspect where the energy production is a key issue of the GFCI. The dynamical simulations have been done until 2050. The result of the International Trade shows the gradually increasing shape. Additionally, the Nuclear Power Plant Operation shows the increasing by stepwise shape.

Characteristics of Cryogenic Cascade Refrigeration Cycle for Liquefaction of Natural Gas with the Pressure Drop of Heat Exchanger (LNG 열교환기의 압력강하에 따른 천연가스 액화용 초저온 캐스케이드 냉동사이클 특성)

  • Natural gas is converted in to LNG by chilling and liquefying the gas to the temperature of $-162^{\circ}C$, when liquefied, the volume of natural gas is reduced to 1/600 of its standard volume. This gives LNG the advantage in transportation. In this study, the effects of the pressure drop of refrigerant and natural gas in the LNG heat exchanger of cryogenic cascade refrigeration cycle were investigated and then the design criteria for the pressure drop of refrigerant and natural gas of the LNG heat exchanger were proposed. The pressure drop of the cascade liquefaction cycle was investigated and simulated using HYSYS software. The simulation results showed that the pressure drop in the LNG heat exchanger is set to 50 kPa considering the increase in the compressor work and COP of cryogenic cascade liquefaction cycle.

  • In this paper, analysis on the performance characteristics of R744-R404A cascade refrigeration system is presented to offer the basic design data for the operating parameters of the system. The operating parameters considered in this study include subcooling and superheating degree, compressor efficiency, and condensing and evaporating temperature in R404A high- and R744 low-temperature cycle, respectively. The main results were summarized as follows : It was observed that the highest COP of the system is achieved by higher superheating degree in R744 cycle than that in R404A cycle. The COP of the system increased by giving the subcooling degree in both cycles. The COP of the cascade system is the highest value when the system is operated at an optimum evaporation temperature.

  • One of the important performance measure for productivity at container terminals is the working productivity in the quay. working scheduling of quay cranes (QCs) gives a significant impact on the quay working productivity. The recent managers of the terminals pay high interests in equipment investment and operation methods with a new concept in order to enhance the quay working productivity. The double cycle or dual cycle, which is a method to increase the quay productivity with no application of new equipment, but with the change of operations, has been received strong attention in academic research. The majority of studies until this time has been realized the quay work as the bottleneck and focused on those works. However, if the QCs do notver, it the Cs d-trotver,(CT) if t the Cs, there would be the pos ibilf tes that the effectiveness of them is decreasedveaused by the longer, if t the Cs. Thus, this paper, suggests the solutions on the con th scheduling for the dual cycle operation considering the YT.

Recycling of Copper Scrap (동스크랩의 리사이클링)

  • Copper is one of the first metals utilized by humankind about 11,500 years ago. But copper is not plentiful metallic element in the earth's crust. Copper has a high thermal and electric conductivity and is relatively corrosion resistant. In principle copper is virtually 100 % recyclable as an element without loss of quality. The recycling of copper scrap reduces the energy consumption and environmental burden, comparing to the primary metal production. Currently, approximately 30% of the global copper supply provides by recycling. Copper scrap is smelted in primary and secondary smelter. Type of furnace and process steps depend on the quality and grade of scrap. Depending on copper content of the secondary raw material, refining is required, which is usually done through electrorefining. This work provides an overview of the primary copper production and recycling process.

  • 본 연구는 관광경기 침제현상으로 지역 전체가 몸살을 앍고 있는 수안보온천의 현재의 단계를 관광지 라이프사이클 모델에 근거하여 진단하고 이에 따른 활성화 방안을 제시하는데 목적이 있다. 수안보온천은 관광지 라이프사이클에 따르면 1998년 이래로 관광시장의 축소, 편의시설의 소명, 주말 및 당일 체류관광객의 증가 등의 관광지 쇠퇴단계의 지표가 나타나고 있다. 쇠퇴단계에 이른 수안보온천의 가장 큰 문제점은 관광 편의시설물의 노후화와 자본이 부족하다. 이러한 문제점을 해결할 수 있는 방안에는 다음 세가지가 있다. 첫째는 기존 시설물을 일부만 변경하며 노년층의 영구 거주지로 분양하는 것이다. 둘째는 방치괸 야외무대장을 주말 상설놀이마당으로 활용하고, 섯째는 수안보온천 관광호텔 자리에 있는 냉천을 약수로 개발하여 관광자원화하는 것이다.

  • It has been reported that neural network with cyclic connections generates limit cycles. The dynamics of discrete time network with cyclic connections has been analyzed. But the dynamics of cyclic network in continuous time has not been known well due to its huge calculation complexity. In this paper, we study the dynamics of the continuous time network with cyclic connections and the effect of chaotic signal in the network for transitions between limit cycles.

  • In this paper, we analyze a cycle property embedded in pyramid graphs. We prove that it is always possible to construct diverse cycles of all lengths from 3 to ($4^N-1$)/3 by applying series of cycle expansion operations to the pyramid graph of height N. This means that the pyramid graph has the pancyclic property.

  • 본 연구의 목적은 사이클 운동 시, 3가지 다른 길이의 페달 샤프트 (표준형, 5.08 cm, 10.16 cm)가 근육활동에 미치는 영향을 근전도 측정을 통해 비교 분석하는데 있다. 사이클링을 활동적으로 하는 여학생 5명을 피험자로 선택하여 대퇴지근(RF), 외측광근(VL), 내측광근(VM) 대퇴이두근(BF)을 표면전극을 사용하여 관찰하였다. 자료 분석을 위해 두 대의 S-VHS 카메라 (Panasonic Digital 5000)를 사용하여 사이클링 동작을 촬영하였다. 연구의 목적을 위해 각 조건에 대한 표준화된 평균 및 최대 근전도치가 계산되어졌다. 각각의 변인에 대해 페달 샤프트의 길이에 따른 근전도치의 차이점을 분석하기 위해 반복측정에 의한 일원변량분석을 사용하였으며, 통계적 유의성이 있을 경우 Newman-Keuls 사후검증을 실시하였다. 일반적으로 5.08 cm 길이의 페달 샤프트를 사용했을 경우 표준형의 페달 샤프트와는 다르게 모든 하지근의 적분 근전도치가 줄어드는 것으로 나타났다. 페달 샤프트의 길이가 길어짐에 따라 외측광근의 적분 근전도치가 통계적으로 유의하게 낮게 나타났고, 5.08 cm 길이에서 대퇴이두근의 적분 근전도치가 통계적으로 유의하게 낮게 나타났다. 페달 샤프트 길이에 따른 최대 근전도치의 통계적 유의성을 찾을 수 없었지만, 일반적으로 5.08 cm 길이의 페달 샤프트를 사용할 때 최대 근전도치가 가장 낮게 나타났다. 본 연구의 결과, 페달 샤프트의 길이가 하지근의 활동정도와 형태를 변화시킨다는 것을 알 수 있었으며, 하지관절의 부하에 영향을 미치는 것으로 사료되어진다. 이에 따라, 개인의 해부 구조학적인 면을 고려한 페달 샤프트의 길이 조절은 효율적이며 안정적인 사이클링 동작을 수행하는데 많은 도움이 될 수 있을 것이다.

Performance Analysis of Refrigeration Cycle of Hydrocarbon Refrigerant using Suction-Line Heat Exchanger (흡입관 열교환기를 이용한 탄화수소계 냉매용 냉동사이클의 성능 분석)

  • This paper considers the influence of suction-line heat exchangers on the efficiency of a refrigeration cycle using hydrocarbon refrigerants such as R290, R600a and R1270. These suction-line heat exchangers can, in some cases, yield improved system performance while in other cases they degrade system performance. A steady state mathematical model is used to analyze the performance characteristics of refrigeration cycle with suction-line heat exchanger. The influence of operating conditions, such as the mass flowrate of hydrocarbon refrigerants, inner diameter tube and length of suction-line heat exchanger, to the performance of the cycle is also analyzed in the paper. Results showed that the mass flowrate of hydrocarbon refrigerants, inner diameter tube and length of suction-line heat exchanger, and effectiveness have an effect on the cooling capacity, compressor work and RCI(Relative Capacity Index) of this system. With a thorough grasp of these effect, it is necessary to design the compression refrigeration cycle of hydrocarbon refrigerants using suction-line heat exchanger.
