This research identified the normal structures of separated families, "wild-geese families"(husbands living in Korea apart from their wives and children who are studying abroad) as we called, in Korea. In particular, this study conducted in-depth interview, using qualitative research method, with 7 wild-geese fathers (fathers who are in order to understand their experiences of separated families. The research findings classified the wild-geese father's experiences into three phases which as "decision-making," "initial," and "maintenance." These phases can be described by five higher factors. First of all, in the phase of decision-making "internal or external needs of children studying abroad at early age" was found to be a crucial factor. Liberation and deficiency as results of separation" mainly described the initial phase. In the phase of maintenance, families experience "exhausted solitary lives," "filling up the families' empty space," and "double jeopardy-worry about both reunifying the family or separating the family, as the longer they are separated."
On the one hand, the 4th Industrial Revolution provides a positive opportunity to build a new civilization paradigm for mankind. However, on the other hand, due to the 4th Industrial Revolution, artificial intelligence such as 'Goggle Alpha Go' revolutionized and even the human ability was replaced with a 'Silicon Chip' as the opportunity to communicate decreases, the existence of human beings is weakened. And there is a growing concern that the number of violent crimes, such as psychopath, which hunts humans as games, will increase. Moreover, recent international terrorism is being developed in a form similar to 'Psychopathic Violent-Crime' that indiscriminately attacks innocent people. So, the probability that terrorist organizations abuse the positive effects provided by the Fourth Industrial Revolution as means of terrorism is increasing. Therefore, the paradigm of aviation terrorism is expected to change in a way that attacks airport facilities and users rather than aircraft. Because airport facilities are crowded, and psychopathic terrorists are easily accessible. From this point of view, our counter terrorism system of aviation has many weak points in various aspects such as: (1) limitations of counter-terrorism center (2) inefficient on-site command and control system (3) separated organization for aviation security consultation (4) dispersed information collection function in government (5) vulnerable to cyber attack (6) lack of international cooperation network for aviation terrorism. Consequently, it is necessary to improve the domestic counter terrorism system of aviation so as to preemptively respond to the international terrorism. This study propose the following measures to improve the aviation security system by (1) create 'Aviation Special Judicial Police' (2) revise the anti-terrorism law and aviation security law (3) Strengthening the ability respond to terrorism in cyberspace (4) building an international cooperation network for aviation terrorism.
Electronic commerce in digital environment is greatly different from the commerce in physical environment in the past (reality environment) in terms of marketing, distribution structure and, above an, comsumers'purchase pattern. The Old purchase pattern is that a consumer buys a product after s/he touches, tests, and feels it physically, while the purchase pattern in electronic commerce enables the comsumer to make a decision about whether to buy it or not through the information gleaned from the computer monitor screen. A number of products which appears in the market now are designed to use the reality environment setup without consideration of the digital environment, of which the intention is to appeal to consumers with a series of design process. However, taking under consideration the present situation in which lots of electronic commerce are made in the cyber space or digital environment, we are required to forward the product design which can gains the positive attraction for consumers in this environment. Factor analysis is made in order to understand how the subjects perceive the image of the design of the product both in reality situation and in digital environment. The result shows the first factor has different images in those environments. In the background of this conclusion rests the fact that the difference of the transfer of formative factors to consumers is made in the images which show themselves in those different environments.
This study attempted to explore how online game is endowed new meaning and function and changed into totally different product in result by recognition and consuming behavior(game activity) of game users. The subjects of this study are famous Internet based online games called 'Lineage' and 'EverQuest'. These two online games are physically similar games. Both are MMORPG and community-based games. While Lineage became a cyber world as a part of the real world, EverQuest was a game product. This study explored the recognition of garners about game world and different consuming behavior pattern(game activity pattern) in game world made by different recognition of online game. The result from exploring the differences in the recognition of game world showed Lineage garners regarded Lineage world as another living space or a part of real world they can explore and express psychological need and self-identity or self-image and live through diverse activities. But EverQuest garners regarded EverQuest as a product for experience of fantasy world. The result from comparing the game consuming behaviors showed that different recognition of game world made the differences in the game consuming behavior. The results of the present study supported that the recognition of consumers about digital images or content poducts like online game can be different by the value and experience of consumer, and the different recognition make the different consuming behavior of similar or same products. The results supported that the meaning and value of digital images or digital content are endowed by consumers.
This study is focused on subjective images that are produced before visualization in the digital information environment and on characteristics of objective, dynamic image expression that specifies the subjective images. In this study, the visual world that works in the action of "see"is expanded into vision of eyes, vision of brain, and vision of camera. Also we have redefined the definitions of image and its materialized image, yeongsang. It is defined that image contains a strong meaning of consciousness and mind, and that yeongsang involves vision in which constantly changing information of light is created and reproduced by physical processes. We made it clear that image expression in the 21 st century is becoming more generalized, simplified, and concentrated, by the digital technology, from existing specific non-real images to "informationalized" non-real images. This means that there exists an intrinsic difference in the expressional form of the modern analog environment and that of the recent digital environment in the area of yeongsang communication. Along with development of technology, image information raises plastic reality through indirect experience in the virtual space by expanding the sensual faculty of human. However, there also is a tendency for humans to rely more on technology instead of utilizing their creative faculty. Image expression by“the digital information environment” in the 21st century will pursue two sides; one is to shift from external expression of the human body in the cyber space to internal expression, and the other is to internalize the image world and make it connected worldwide. The dosimetry of very small fields is challenging for several reasons including a lack of lateral electronic equilibrium, large dose gradients, and the size of detector in respect to the field size. The objective of this work was to evaluate the suitability of a new commercial synthetic diamond detector, namely, the PTW 60019 microDiamond, for the small field dosimetry in cyberknife photon beams of 6 different collimator size (from 5 mm to 30 mm). Measurements included dose linearity, dose rate dependence, output factors (OF), percentage depth doses (PDD) and off center ratio (OCR). The results were compared to those of pinpoint ionization chamber, diamond detector, microLion liquid Ionization chamber and diode detector. The dose linearity results for the microDiamond detector showed good linearly proportional to dose. The microDiamond detector showed little dose rate dependency throughout the range of 100~600 MU/min, while microLion liquid Ionization chamber showed a significant discrepancy of approximately 5.8%. The OF measured with microDiamond detector agreed within 3.8% with those measured with diode. PDD curves measured with silicon diode and diamond detector agreed well for all the field sizes. In particular, slightly sharper penumbras are obtained by the microDiamond detector, indicating a good spatial resolution. The results obtained confirm that the new PTW 60019 microDiamond detector is suitable candidate for application in small radiation fields dosimetry.
This paper defines the telepresence as a particular type of experience, rather than a collection of hardware. Defining telepresence in this way provides a means for examining telepresence in relation to other types of mediated experience. Presence refers to the natural perception of an environment, and telepresence refers to the mediated perception of an environment. Factors influencing whether a particular mediated environment will induce a sense of telepresence include the following: the combination of sensory stimuli employed in the environment, the ways in which participants are able to interact with the environment, and the characteristics of the individual experiencing the environment. Telepresence art invites the people from remote worlds to networked cyber space and creates the experience of 'being there' by making participants control the virtual reality system and receive feedback from their teleactions. It is the way to produce an open and engaging experience that manifests the cultural changes brought about by remote control, remote vision, telekinesis, and real-time exchange of audiovisual information. The principal determinants of telepresence are sensory immersion, sensory fidelity, cognitive fidelity and personal factors. This paper applies the 4 determinants to telepresence art works such as Ken Goldberg's Telegarden, Monika Fleischmann & Wolfgang Strauss' The Home of the Brain, Paul Sermon's Telematic Dreaming, Telematic Vision, Eduardo Kac's Uriapuru, Simon Penny's Traces and Paul Sermon & Andrea Zapp's A Body of Water.

With the introduction of Internet-based education such as online learning and virtual campuses. there are increased interests and demands for electronically delivering educational contents in comparison to the traditional educational methods. Our preilminary study showed that approximately $50\%$ of virtual groups formed online for the scope of collaborative learning encountered harriers that prevented them from forming an effective learning team and making satisfactory progress toward reaching the learning objectives. In this study, we asked the undergraduate students. who were the members of the online learning team, to work on the given discussion topics through the use of emails and threaded discussion boards. Then. we investigated the roles played by two electronic communication medium during the virtual discussion with respect to the learning outcome. We also studied how information was shared amongst the virtual learning team members. The results of our study showed that the email based online learning had the advantage of individualized and friendly information transfer. However. it also caused certain difficulty in exchanging ideas due to the one-sided nature of the email-based communication. On the other hand, the threaded discussion board provided easier information sharing and broadcasting. which enabled active participation by the virtual team members. However. It also had the disadvantage of difficulty in accurate information conveyance and duplication of the posted information. In summary, our study results showed that there was a high correlation between the characteristics of the electronic communication medium and the decision that the online learners made regarding which medium to use. There was a high correlation between the type of the electronic communication medium and the online learners' experiences in using these media.
