Product-based environmental regulations, such as RoHS, REACH, EuP, etc., on electrical and electronic equipments, chemicals, and so on, initiated by the European Union, are becoming a global trend. These regulations can create barriers to trade among nations worldwide and may thereby have a direct impact on the function of internal market. If domestic companies utilize well the international environmental regulations in advance, they will get good opportunity for expanding overseas market. In this paper the current status of countermeasure for overcoming the international environmental regulations in domestic industries was investigated and the future plans were discussed.

시소러스는 정보검색과정에서 용어를 통제하여 색인과 검색에서 중요한 기능을 수행하는 도구로 사용되고 있는 통제용어집이다. 그러나 정보검색시스템 환경의 변화에도 불구하고 기존의 시소러스와 시소러스의 작성지침으로 사용되고 있는 국제 표준인 ISO 2788이나 Z39.19에서 제시하고 있는 기준은 용어간의 관계를 단순히 표현하고 있어 색인이나 검색시 용어통제의 어려움을 겪고 있다. 본 연구는 시소러스의 용어관계를 국제 표준과 현재 사용되고 있는 각종 시소러스를 비교 분석하여, 시소러스 용어관계의 확장방안을 제시한다.

본 연구에서는 건설CALS/EC 기반의 정보화 추진을 위한 정보시스템을 개발할 때 적용되는 기존의 소프트웨어 개발방법론의 문제점을 분석하고, 표준화되지 않은 개발방법론의 적용으로 시스템 개발에 비효율적인 비용을 투자하는 문제점과 특성상 입찰, 구매, 계약 등 분야별로 상이한 기능의 업무에 따라 구축되는 건설산업 정보화에 있어서 상호간에 데이터 및 프로세스를 원활히 통합하지 못하므로 인하여 발생되는 개발의 중복성, 정보 활용의 비효율성 등의 문제점을 개선하고자 하였다. 이를 위하여 최근 새로이 부각되고 있는 방법론인 컴포넌트 기반 개발방법론(CBD: Component-Based Development)을 사용하여 건선CALS/EC 표준지침 웹서비스를 위한 시스템의 업무프로세스를 모델링하여 사용자가 쉽게 재사용가능하고 타업무분야에 확대 가능한 방향을 제시하였다. 본 연구를 위하여 기존의 소프트웨어 개발 방법론의 적용상 문제점 분석을 통하여 컴포넌트 기반 개발방법론의 필요성을 증명하고 비즈니스 컴포넌트 프레임워크를 사용하여 건설 CALS/EC 표준지침 웹서비스의 업무프로세스에 적용할 기술적인 방법론을 고찰하고 업무에 효과적으로 적용할 수 있는 업무프로세스 컴포넌트를 제시하였다. 본 연구에서 도출된 컴포넌트 모델은 향후 타업무분야의 시스템을 개발할 때 사용자요구분석 단계부터 별도의 재 작업이 없이 사용될 수 있으며 시스템을 구현할 때 개발 모듈의 중복방지와 용이한 비즈니스로직의 변경 등이 가능하며, 추가의 업무 프로세스나 연관된 다른 분야의 업무프로세스의 반영 및 추가 시 컴포넌트의 활동모델을 쉽게 수정하여 정의함으로써 쉽게 시스템의 기능을 확장할 수 있다.LE 산정에 관한 지속적인 실험적 연구가 이루어져야 하겠다. 증가할 것이다. 또한 부분육을 이용한 완전제품, 적색육제품, 유기농이나 별미식 제품과 같은 형태의 다양한 포장육 제품이 도입 될 것으로 생각되어진다.e in vitro SPF test method will be able to be used as an alternative method for in vivo SPF in case of lotion and cream. replica. The spent fuel transportation casks have used as one of the most essential component in the nuclear industry. And, the number of the cask has been significantly increased in recent years. While the bulk amount of spent fuel in the world is still kept in the storage pool, the number of countries which have chosen the advantages of dual purpose cask for transportation and storage is rapidly increasing. The technical experience in the area of spent fuel transportation cask operation and maintenance for long period is also available and will be well utilized also in storage casks. The increasing use of casks for dual and multiple purposes raises an issue of long term consideration by international standardization. Accordingly IAEA is providing a regulatory requirements and guidelines as an effort for this standardization.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the characteristics of OPAC displays of the National Library of Korea and the Library of Congress. based on the 'OPAC Display Guidelines(Draft)' published by IFLA. Discussed are such topics as a basic search process and the headings list, a brief display and the arrangement of bibliographic records, a brief record and a full record, use of terms and labels. link between records, and organization of screens for the OPAC display. It is strongly suggested that when compared with the LC's OPAC, the OPAC display of the National Library of Korea should be much improved by following the recommendations of the 'OPAC Display Guidelines(Draft)'.

The increase of wheelchair users due to the rapid growth of elderly population, traffic accidents, and industrial disaster etc. becomes a major issue in our society. Thus, the Convenience Promotion Law was enforced to facilitate the use and installation of convenient facilities for the disabled, the elderly and pregnant women. Currently, not only newly built buildings but also roads and parks are accessed and used by all the people without any hindrance. In contrast to this, so far not many studies on residential space design for wheelchair users have been carried out except for public facilities. So, wheelchair users have to bear the inconvenience in their houses made upon the standards of the general people. Therefore, it is necessary to develop design guideline considering the physical characteristics of wheelchair users and their family members to lead a convenient life. This study was conducted in universal design perspective and intended to establish design guideline of convenient residential space for wheelchair users and general people. To accomplish the objective, surveys for wheelchair users' actual conditions and needs, and video observation were carried out.

The purpose of this research is to provide strategic guidelines for EDI transaction companies to migrate from EDI system to Web-based e-Business frameworks such as ebXML, RosettaNet and Web Services. Due to various limitations of EDI and evolution of Web technologies, a lot of firms want to adopt Internet based B2B standards However, they are seeking ways of migrating from EDI to open and public B2B frameworks smoothly not giving up existing EDI system at a time. Therefore, it is very important to provide migration strategies and guidelines for companies to migrate from EDI system to Web-based B2B frameworks. The strategic guidelines provided in this paper can be used as a practical guidance in developing migration strategies of EDI companies.

The International Maritime Organization (IMO) adopted the Circular 101 (MSC / Circ. 1604) as an interim guidelines for MASS trials at the 101st Maritime Safety Committee. This guideline will be used as a guideline for the sea trials of Maritime Autonomous Surface Ships(MASS) in the future and will be used by government authorities and stake-holders to secure infrastructure for MASS safety, environmental protection and remote operation. The purpose of this study is to analyze the Interim Guidelines for MASS Trials adopted by IMO and to clearly classify the responsibilities and obligations of governments of stake-holders, and to present the main points of risk management necessary for maritime test operation from the perspective of human factors.

This study outlines a successful and effective plan for repairing water-leakage cracks in concrete structures. The lack of adequate solutions for water-leakage cracks often results in unnecessarily high repair costs, and as such this remains a problem that requires constant attention. Unfortunately, despite the availability of a vast number of different materials and methods, it is often difficult to attain a perfect waterproof sealing The reason for the difficulties in the repair of water-leakage cracks can be attributed to an insufficient knowledge and understanding of the negative factors (i.e., chemical and physical (mechanical) conditions) that cause water-leakage cracks, and of the properties of the repair materials and methods. In this study, guidelines and methods for the selection of adequate materials for the repair of water-leakage cracks in concrete structures were developed for countries that do not already have general guidelines on this subject, and for local regulatory authorities elsewhere.

The GFRP rebar have been interested as the substituting material of the conventional steel rebar to the concrete structure for high durable concrete structure. The GFRP rebar, however, has different way to be fabricated and mechanical characteristics comparing with the conventional steel rebar. Therefore, to apply the GFRP rebar to the construction field, it needs the proper and reasonable design theory, codes and guidelines. In this study, for the design recommendation of the GFRP rebar, ACI440.IR and ISIS Canada design manual were investigated and concluded that the design theory of ISIS Canada design manual was relatively better design concept considering the limit state of the GFRP rebar in design and analysis. With this design concept, new design equation for the GFRP rebar was suggested and investigated with other design equations.
