  • The purpose of this study to analyze the relationship among three characteristics of O2O commerce and extended goal-directed behavior(EGB) model(trust, desire and intention to use). From June to July in 2015, the questionnaires were sent to Chinese customers using O2O commerce. Among 494 questionnaires gathered, 433 valid ones are analyzed using SPSS and AMOS. Among ten research hypotheses derived from prior research and the research model, eight hypotheses are tenable, while the rest hypotheses are untenable. Online features of mobility and Offline features of service quality. The Online features of mobility bring consumers convenience but also has some latent customer privacy issue. On other hand, because of the untenable hypothesis, there is inconformity between online service and offline service, and customer have distrust on the O2O commerce. To achieve continuous online consumption, offline businesses need to improve their service. The perceived quality of selling company exerts a significant effect on the customers' reliability for the brand equity of open market company and selling company, such as the brand awareness of the open market, open market image, brand awareness of selling company, and the perceived quality of selling company. Thus, selling company should improve self-brand service and quality in order to improve customers' reliability. In addition, the consumer characteristics of attitude, subjective norm, and perceived behavioral control are all tenable. These results mean that O2O commerce is a favorite way of consumption by Chinese consumers.

  • Recently, drone is extending its range of usability. For example, the delivery, agriculture, industry, and entertainment area take advantage of drone mobilities. To control real drones, it needs huge amount of drone control training steps. However, it is risky; falling down, missing, destroying. The virtual drone system can avoid such risks. We reason that what kinds of technologies are required for building the virtual drone system. First, it needs that the virtual drone authoring tool that can assemble drones with the physical restriction in the virtual environment. We suggest that the drone assembly method that can fulfill physical restrictions in the virtual environment. Next, we introduce the virtual drone simulator that can simulate the assembled drone moves physically right in the virtual environment. The simulator produces a high quality rendering results more than 60 frames per second. In addition, we develop the physics engine based on SILS(Software in the loop simulation) framework to perform more realistic drone movement. Last, we suggest the virtual drone controller that can interact with real drone controllers which are commonly used to control real drones. Our virtual drone system earns 7.64/10.0 user satisfaction points on human test: the test is done by one hundred persons.

  • Currently, the world's population has already entered a super-aging era, and the rate is expected to increase rapidly to about 40% by 2050. However, the rapid development of automation technology and the online service sector, the main technologies of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, are still further isolating them in a world where many inconveniences and development technologies are applied. As such, alienation in daily life is widely expanded in various fields, but the financial service sector is one of the must-use areas regardless of age because of its strong nature in the public service sector, and is a very important factor in the period when branches are rapidly decreasing. However, the current utilization rate of mobile banking services is not around 5%, so users over 60 are rarely able to use them. The UX design of the most frequently used remittance service screen in mobile banking services was proposed, and the difficulty of trying to find the preferred bank among 56 or more banks was solved by analyzing the usage rate of each bank and dividing it into three stages by age group from 50 or older. In addition, it was designed to strengthen customized services by showing their recently used banks as the top priority. The design proposed in this study obtained an average of 4.8 points or more out of 5 points as a result of usability satisfaction through interviews with less than 50 senior groups. This study is believed to help each bank upgrade its different mobile banking designs in a unified manner.

  • This study investigated the distribution of users in urban parks to overcome the limitations of existing research, which made it difficult to determine where data came was collected. It aimed to provide implications for park planning and management based on user distribution using mobile signal data. Five urban parks in Seongdong-gu, Seoul, with various physical characteristics, were selected. Mobile signal data provided by the Seoul Big Data Campus was used to identify the distribution of user inflow through hot spot analysis per park. The relationship between urban context and park influence area was derived. Seoul Forest (P1) and Seongsu Park (P3), which have a high proportion of commercial spaces around the park, showed wider user hotspots compared to Eungbong Park (P2), Dokseodang Park (P4), and Daehyunsan Park (P5), which were located in residential areas. Parks with a significant presence of commercial spaces had a broader influence, while parks with larger sizes and gentle slopes exhibited wider influence areas. This study proposed a novel data-based approach to urban park planning and management based on the inflow distribution of park users. Through this research, valuable insights were derived that could be utilized for urban park planning and management, aiming to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of park utilization.

  • This study is on the elderly people's use and experience of pet robots (companion robots). Applying companion robots for the elderly's daily lives can enhance their quality of life. Leisure is main activity of the elderly who are out of work. Therefore, the quality and diversity of leisure can affect the quality of their life. Companion Robots could provide them with more advanced and interesting experiences. Around the world, population aging becomes one of the most important trends in each country. The social and economic burden of aging is serious challenge on sustainability of the world, including S. Korea. The authors examine use of Companion Robots for elderly (from 50 years old to 90 years old). In this experiment, the authors study and measure many factors including system quality, interface quality, displeasure, enjoyment, willingness to reuse, perception on new technology. In regression analysis, intimacy(t=-2.006, p<.05) is significant factor on displeasure of Companion Robot. In another regression, displeasure of Companion Robot (independent variable) is significant factor on enjoyment(t=-3.327, p<.01) and willingness to reuse(t=-2.636, p<.01). Therefore, when elderly one feels less displeasure of Companion Robot, he/she feels more enjoyment and willingness to reuse. As a result, the elderly who don't familiar to new technology could improve quality of life and leisure activity by using companion robot.

  • As the post-COVID-19 consumer life environment is rapidly becoming non-face-to-face, changing non-face-to-face financial life services are having a significant impact on consumers' daily lives. People who do not have access to digital devices and services that have become essential goods are at risk of being left behind in the "digital blind spot," where they are marginalized not only in their daily lives but also in society and the economy as a whole (Kim Min-Jeung A, Kim Min-Jung B, Park Joo-Yung, 2022). In this study, we examined the effects of perceived control factors, Cognitive control, behavioral control, and decisional control, on intention to use digital finance. For this study, we surveyed 133 customers who are aware of and intend to use digital finance. The results show that cognitive control, behavioral control, and decisional control have significant effects on intention to use digital finance. In this relationship, the moderating effect of privacy concerns differs from the effect of decision control on intention to use digital finance. These findings suggest that digital financial services firms should consider whether to reduce or increase customer control. Based on these findings, we discuss marketing strategies and implications for digital financial services companies.

  • With the development of information technology, new technologies to be introduced in each industry are continuously increasing. This study aims to verify the influence of ambivalent emotions experienced when encountering new technologies, the coping strategies they induce, and their impact on the decision-making process of technology adoption Specifically, this research investigates the emotions and responses to new technologies in the situational context where service providers must deliver services based on new technology in environments where no such services have been developed previously. Furthermore, it seeks to verify the influence of coping responses on the intention to use services based on new technologies. To this end, this study investigated the ambivalent emotions and coping responses of financial sector workers to new financial services based on metaverse technology. As a result of the analysis ambivalance had a significant effect on all four coping responses (disengagement-oriented coping, denial, indecision and compromise). Among them, denial, which is an inflexible response, and compromise, which is a flexible response, had a significant positive effect on the intention to use, and disengagement-oriented coping and indecision had a significant negative effect on the intention to use. The results of this study confirm the user's metaverse acceptance factor and user-centered influence, and are expected to provide guidelines for the introduction of services to practical workers with academic significance.

  • Since the short-wave infrared spectrum has a significant range of variation depending on the production environment, countries with advanced resource exploration are collecting the spectrum and building a database. Representative organizations include the USGS and CSIRO, and they are currently carrying out a project in China that can synthesize and use a large number of existing data. The USGS library provides a total of 2,457 spectra targeting not only minerals but also various materials that respond to infrared radiation. Among these, there are 1,276 mineral spectra, which are about half of the total. The spectrum title includes information, such as analysis devices (NIC4, BECK, ASDNG, etc.), purity codes (a, b, c, d, u), and measurement methods (AREF, RREF, RTGC, TRAN). Analyzed raw data are provided in ASCII and GIF format. The CSIRO library has a total of 502 spectra, of which the majority, 493, correspond to mineral spectra. The USGS library is a free, publically available resource, while the CSIRO library is bundled with TSG8 or must be purchased separately. Among these, when comparing the eight spectra whose spectral shapes can be analyzed with the spectra of domestic illite, the positions of the absorption peaks are significantly different from those of domestic illite, except for one Japanese illite. Additional research will be needed to determine the causes of such differences, and the domestically relevant databases should be established as well.

  • After COVID-19, organizations have widely adopted platforms such as zoom or developed their proprietary online real-time systems for remote work, with recent forays into incorporating the metaverse for meetings and publicity. While ongoing studies investigate the impact of avatar customization, expansive virtual environments, and past virtual experiences on participant satisfaction within virtual reality or metaverse settings, the utilization of the metaverse as a dedicated workspace is still an evolving area. There exists a notable gap in research concerning the factors influencing the performance of the metaverse as a workspace, particularly in non-immersive work-type metaverses. Unlike studies focusing on immersive virtual reality or metaverses emphasizing immersion and presence, the majority of contemporary work-oriented metaverses tend to be non-immersive. As such, understanding the factors that contribute to the success of these existing non-immersive metaverses becomes crucial. Hence, this paper aims to empirically analyze the factors impacting personal outcomes in the non-immersive metaverse workspace and derive implications from the results. To achieve this, the study adopts the Embodied Social Presence (ESP) model as a theoretical foundation, modifying and proposing a research model tailored to the non-immersive metaverse workspace. The findings validate that the impact of presence on task engagement and task involvement exhibits a moderating effect based on the metaverse platform used. Following interviews with participants engaged in non-immersive metaverse workplaces (specifically Gather Town and Ifland), a survey was conducted to gather comprehensive insights.

  • People have adopted Social Networking Sites (SNSs) as a part of their daily lives. When a person uses SNSs, (s)he intentionally or unintentionally discloses her/his personal information. Although using SNSs can provide benefits to a person such as maintaining relationships with people who does not see often, it also opens a dark side. Someone can use one's disclosed information without the acknowledgement of the information owner. It is called a privacy intrusion on SNSs, which has become a social problem and needs attention. This study examined factors affecting privacy intrusion intention on SNSs. This study classifies privacy intrusions into passive intrusion (collector) and active intrusion (distributor). The results reveal that low ethical consciousness positively affects enjoyment in both of collecting and distributing someone's personal information on SNSs. A person who has the low ethical consciousness also tends to raise her/his curiosity of collecting someone's private information on SNSs. Apart from low ethical consciousness, this study discloses how enjoyment, curiosity, experience of being a victim of privacy intrusion, experience of intruding others' privacies, and self-efficacy of collecting or distributing others' private information are related to passive or/and active privacy intrusion on SNSs with survey data.
