This study investigates the association between non-audit services and audit quality, using a sample of firms in which audit services and non-audit services are provided by a same audit firm. This study extends previous studies by separating auditors into Big4 and Non-Big4 audit firms as each group may have different incentives to impair their independence. According to the empirical results, audit quality, proxied by absolute value of discretionary accruals has significant negative association with non-audit service fee for Non-Big4 audit firms, but not for Big4 audit firms, suggesting that Non-Big4 audit firms may impair their independence with increased non-audit service fees. Non-Big4 audit firms are known to be relatively small and local firms that might be highly economically dependent upon a specific client firm whereas Big4 audit firms are not. This results may be of interest to regulators and capital market investors and standard setters who concern a recent trend of increasing non-audit services that are provided by an audit firm which also provides audit service at the same time.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of emotional dissonance and service sabotage on skin experts who have experienced inappropriate customer behavior. To achieve the purpose of the study. 383 skin experts in Seoul and Gyeonggi-do were selected as the subjects of the study. As for the analysis method, frequency analysis, factor analysis, reliability analysis, correlation analysis, and multiple regression analysis were performed, and the following research results were derived through such research procedures. Inappropriate customer behavior showed a positive (+) correlation with emotional dissonance, and emotional suppression of emotional dissonance affects service sabotage.

It is the basic direction of revised education course to bring up the autonomous and creative Koreans to lead the 21st century. In the music education of the middle school it could be said that music program using computer is a very effective medium for learners' sake of stimulating their audio-visual sense at the same time. In this study, I will look around the facility of the computer music program and tried to find the application method to connect the creative learning activity in music class. And I will also show the application method in the musical activity area. For this, I proposed the method for students' creative learning activity in the middle of using Finale 2010 for music notation, Window Moviemaker for image editing and Goldwave for sound editing.

한국 방송은 새로운 역사를 거듭 쓰고 있다. '거듭'이라는 단어의 의미가 주는 무게는 남다르다. 남북화해 무드에 편승해 백두산과 한라산에서 남북동시 3원 생방송을 위시해 방송의 날(매년 9월 3일)을 기념해 KBS와 MBC가 디지털 방송을 시작한 것이 그것이다. 이들 양사보다 한발 앞선 SBS는 2000년 8월 31일부터 디지털 시험 방송을 시작함에 따라 지상파 3사는 모두 디지털 방송시대에 돌입하게 되었다. 이들 지상파 방송 3사는 디지털 방송을 위해 1999년 1월부터 장비도입 등 준비작업에 박차를 가한 결과라 시청자는 물론 방송 업계와 콘텐츠 관련 업계는 모두 새로운 디지털 콘텐츠 시대를 실감하고 그 준비에 하루 24시간이 늦가을 하루해 만큼 짧게 느끼고 있다.

아파트 신축공사 흙막이 가시설 현장에 근접 매설된 상수관의 누수 및 파열 사고로 인접 건물이 공사현장 방향으로 58~188mm 기울어졌으며, 지중수평경사계 계측결과 21.07.20일 22.64mm가 21.10.18.일 101.46mm로 급격하게 78.82mm의 큰 수평 변위가 발생되었으며, 이로 인해 흙막이 가시설의 사보강재가 변형되고 토류판 일부가 파손되었다.

본 연구에서는 리싸이클 방법에 따른 리싸이클 폴리에스터사의 물리적 성질을 고찰하고자 하였다. 시료로는 물리적 리싸이클 방법과 화학적 해중합을 통한 리싸이클 방법을 사용한 폴리에스터사를 사용하였다. 리싸이클 폴리에스터사의 표면 형상을 관찰하기 위해 SEM을 이용하였고, 열적 거동을 규명하기 위해 DSC를 이용하였으며, 미세 구조적 차이를 살펴보기 위해 XRD 분석을 하였고, 역학적 성질을 평가하기 위해 인장강도와 절단신도를 측정하였다. 연구 결과, 리싸이클 방법에 따라 Tg, 결정화 온도, 융점과 융해열은 약간의 차이를 보였다. 화학적 리싸이클 PET사는 Virgin PET사보다 Tg가 약간 상승하였고, 승온 시 결정화 온도는 하강하였으며, 융점의 차이는 거의 없는 것으로 나타났다. 이는 해중합에 의해 PET의 비결정영역의 고분자 사슬 간의 거리가 좁아져 더 높은 Tg를 나타내는 것으로 생각된다. 또한, 물리적 리싸이클 PET사의 융점과 융해열은 화학적 리싸이클 PET사의 융점과 융해열보다 더 높게 나타났다. 결정화도에서는 리싸이클 방법에 따른 차이는 거의 보이지 않았다. 이는 리싸이클 공정이 폴리에스터의 결정영역 변화에는 유의한 영향을 미치지 않았기 때문인 것으로 생각된다. 실의 인장강도는 리싸이클 PET사는 virgin PET사보다 약간 더 낮았고, 물리적 리싸이클 PET사와 화학적 리싸이클 PET사는 비슷하게 나타났고, 절단신도는 virgin PET사, 물리적 리싸이클 PET사와 화학적 리싸이클 PET사 간의 뚜렷한 차이는 없는 것으로 나타났다.

This research paper intends to examine the intertextuality of Klaus Mann's novel Mephisto (1936) and István Szabó's film Mephisto (1981) and how the derivative contents (i.e., film) accepted and improved the schematic aesthetics of conviction in original contents (i.e., novel). In general, the aesthetics of conviction is applied to criticize the state socialism of the artists of the Third Reich or the ideology of the artists of East Germany from a biased ethical perspective. Mephisto is also based on the aesthetics of conviction. Thus, it would be meaningful to examine the characteristic similarity and difference between Klaus Mann's real antagonist (i.e., Gustaf Gründgens) and fictional antagonist (i.e., Hendrik Höfgen) from a historical critical perspective. In this process, an aesthetic distance between the real and fictional antagonists would be secured through the internal criticism in terms of intertextuality. In this respect, the film aesthetics of István Szabó are deemed to overcome the schematic limit of the original novel. The conviction in both the novel and film of Mephisto pertains to the belief and stance of a person who compromised with the state socialism of Nazi Germany, i.e., succumbed to the irresistible history. Klaus Mann denounced Mephisto's character Höfgen (i.e., Gründgens in reality) as an "Mephisto with evil spirits" from the perspective of exile literature. For such denunciation, Klaus Mann used various means such as satire, caricature, sarcasm, parody and irony. However, his novel is devoid of introspection and "utopianism", and thus could be considered to allow personal rights to be disregarded by the freedom of art. On the contrary, István Szabó employed the two different types of evil (evil of Mephisto and evil of Faust) from a dualistic perspective (instead of a dichotomous perspective of good and evil) by expressing the character of Höfgen like both Mephisto and Hamlet (i.e., "Faust with both good and evil spirits). However, Szabó did not present the mixed character of "Mephisto and Hamlet (Faust)" only as an object of pity. Rather, Szabó called for social responsibility by showing a much more tragic end. As such, the novel Mephisto is more like the biography of an individual, and the film Mephisto is more like the biography of a generation. The aesthetics of conviction of Mephisto appears to overcome biased historical and textual perspectives through the irony of intertextuality between the novel and the film. Even if history is an irresistible "fate" to an individual, human dignity cannot be denied because it is the "value of life". The issue of conviction is not only limited to the times of Nazi Germany. It can also be raised with the ideology of the modern and contemporary history of Korea. History is so deeply rooted that it should not be criticized merely from a dichotomous perspective. When it comes to the relationship between history and individual life, a neutral point of view is required. Hopefully, this research paper will provide readers with a significant opportunity for finding out their "inner Mephisto" and "inner Hamlet."
