In this paper, we propose a device identification system for network visibility that can maintain the secure internal network environment in the IoT era. Recently, the area of enterprise network is getting huge and more complicated. Not only desktops and smartphones but also business pads, barcode scanners, APs, Video Surveillance, digital doors, security devices, and lots of Internet of Things (IoT) devices are rapidly pouring into the business network, and there are highly risk of security threats. Therefore, in this paper, we propose the device identification system that includes the process and module-specific functions to identify the exploding device in the IoT era. The proposed system provides in-depth visibility of the devices and their own vulnerabilities to the IT manager in company. These information help to mitigate the risk of the potential cyber security threats in the internal network and offer the unified security management against the business risks.

This research is motivated by the question, "Where, when, and through what mode does an individual passenger moving within a subway station use to travel from starting to final destinations ?" To answer this, the stations passed by the individual passenger, the path taken, and modes used need to be known beforehand. In the metropolitan integrated public transportation fare system, Automated Fare Collection System(AFC) can be a source of information on transit modes, stations, and paths of individual passengers. AFC calculates a fare for the passenger based on travel data such as boarding and alighting stations, time, and mode used. In this research, an Selected Station Analysis(SSA) method, in which AFC data is used to observe passenger movement in the metropolitan public transportation subway station from the perspective of subway transfer stations, is proposed. SSA subdivides individual passenger movement in transfer stations and analyzes initial station/time and final destination station/time information using the trip chain perspective.
Thanks to the growth of computing power and the recent development of data analytics, researchers have started to work on the data produced by users through the Internet or social media. This study is in line with these recent research trends and attempts to adopt data analytical techniques. We focus on the impact of "internal marketing" factors on firm performance, which is typically studied through survey methodologies. We looked into the job review platform Jobplanet (www.jobplanet.co.kr), which is a website where employees and former employees anonymously review companies and their management. With web crawling processes, we collected over 40K data points and performed morphological analysis to classify employees' reviews for internal marketing data. We then implemented econometric analysis to see the relationship between internal marketing and market capitalization. Contrary to the findings of extant survey studies, internal marketing is positively related to a firm's market capitalization only within a limited area. In most of the areas, the relationships are negative. Particularly, female-friendly environment and human resource development (HRD) are the areas exhibiting positive relations with market capitalization in the manufacturing industry. In the service industry, most of the areas, such as employ welfare and work-life balance, are negatively related with market capitalization. When firm size is small (or the history is short), female-friendly environment positively affect firm performance. On the contrary, when firm size is big (or the history is long), most of the internal marketing factors are either negative or insignificant. We explain the theoretical contributions and managerial implications with these results.

Company strengthen various information security policy and activity in order to protect important information assets that the company has been dealing with and prevents information security accidents such as personal information spill. However, some study said these policy and activity increase employee's information security stress and still information security accidents by employees have happened so far. Therefore, this study will review preceding theories and studies used in many various fields including Information Security areas needed to explain human's behavioral intention and determinants and summarize characteristic factors that have influence on control of human's behavioral intention in the results of the above theories and studies. Secondly, this study will implement exploratory analysis on characteristic factors perceived by employees that has been stemmed from various company's information security policy and activity in order to increase employee/'s information security compliance intention under the its surrounding security circumstance. Thirdly, this study will fulfil multiple-regression analysis in order to identify cause-effect relationship between employee's perceived information security stress and employee's perceived characteristic factor. Finally, this study will explain casual relationship with same analysis methods between information security stress and information security compliance intention based on results of the survey conducted on the financial firm's employees with same analysis methods.
The conventional mobile VPN services assumed the mobile communications occur between the MN in foreign networks and the CN in the home network. However, if a MN wants to communicate with another MN in a foreign network, it could degrade the performance of the mobile VPN service because of the triangular routing problem. In this paper, we propose a route optimization mechanism based on the mobile VPN using an x-HA allocated by diameter MIP in order to support the efficient communication between the mobile VPN users in foreign networks. The i-HA maintains the VPN-TIA as well as the x-HoA as the CoAs to solve the security problem and to provide an efficient route optimization simultaneously. Moreover, we proposed revised IPSec tunnel configuration to reduce the IPSec tunnel overheads at a MN when the MN communicates with several MNs in the foreign networks at the same time. The VPN server, a security management entity in the home network, notifies an additional IPSec tunnel establishment between the x-HAs where the communication peers are registered. The simulation result showed that the proposed scheme decreases the end-to-end packet delay time and improves the throughput after the handoff compared to the existing mechanism.
This study explores the ways that newspapers report the administrations' policies of 'university reform' from February 2008 to December 2015 through critical discourse analysis. As results, Donga-ilbo and Chosun-ilbo produce the discourse that the crisis of universities is so real and dangerous that it brings about the crisis of our nation, and that the current university systems should be changed into neoliberal systems because it is the critical reason of the crisis. Using various discursive strategies, they construct their reports as objective, real and embodying general goods and then successfully build the neoliberal discourse on university reform as commonsensical and natural. They finally acquire the discursive hegemony for university reform. Kyunghyang-shinmun and Hankyoreh-shinmun produce the anti-discourse against that of Donga-ilbo and Chosun-ilbo. However, they can not develop substantial hegemony struggles for the discourse of university reform because of the limitations of their discourse in terms of quantity and quality and the social and press structures overwhelmingly inclined for neo-liberalism.
This article is concerned with exploring labour market transformation in newspaper industry and thereby looking into skill formation and professionalization of journalists. In Korea, according to previous research, newspaper journalist labour market had been characterized by a low inter-firm mobility of workers and patterns of long-term employment and firm-based skill training. However, over the past few years, as new product strategies of newspaper firms has changed due to management crisis employers pull back from the responsibilities of investment on skill training and securing job stability for journalists. However, in spite of overall weakened firm-based skill formation systems within the market, there still seems to be long way to build alternative systems of skill developments for them. As a result, it will be argued that, in the absence of manifest labor market institutions such as apprenticeships or skill certification system, which are assumed to traditionally certify workers' professionalization, occupational identity and professionality of newspaper journalist labour market will be weakened. Labor market data from interviews with journalists in the newspaper industry are used in order to test this hypothesis.
This paper explores the characteristics of innovation activities in high growth firms that contribute to national and regional economic growth and job creation. The analysis is based on the 2016 KIS data to analyze the difference in innovation activities between high growth firms and general firms. The main results are as follows: First, high growth firms have a higher proportion of R&D personnel than general firms. Second, high growth firms are actively introducing product innovation, process innovation, and organizational innovation as compared to general firms. In the innovation activities related to product innovation and process innovation, there is no statistically significant difference between high growth companies and general companies except for external R&D. Third, High growth firms are more likely to cooperate with other technology partners than general firms. But, there is no statistically significant difference between high growth firms and general firms in the external knowledge search and the diversity of cooperating partners. Fourth, in terms of protecting innovation, high growth firms are more likely to use all kinds of innovation protection method, such as 'utilizing intellectual property rights', 'maintaining confidentiality', 'adopting complex design methods', 'market preemption ahead of competitors', and the most important means is the intellectual property rights. Fifth, government innovation policies that high growth firms chose as important are 'innovation subsidies and loans', 'acquirement, utilization and protection of intellectual property rights' and 'human resource support'.
While the national economy has rapidly grown, both insufficience in indirect capital facilities of society and attempt to avoid having a logistical job as one of the so-called dirty, difficult and dangerous jobs have resulted in the leak of labor in the logistical industry. First of all, it was shown that the functional utilization level of the logistical information system had a partial effect on the logistical performance, that the reduction of logistical costs was influenced by the information system of connecting and supporting functions, and that the improvement of customer service was significantly influenced by only the supporting-function system. Second, the logistical performance was partially influenced by the linkage between logistical activities, only the customer linkage had a significant effect on the reduction of logistical costs, and the improvement of customer service was influenced by the intra-company linkage. Third, in verifying a hypothesis that the logistical information system's functional utilization level and organizational structure would interact with each other and have an effect on the logistical performance, it was shown that based on their mutual interaction at a normalized level this center's functional information system had a significant effect on the reduction of logistical costs. Fourth, in testing a hypothesis that both the linkage between logistical activities and logistical organization structure would interact with each other and would have an effect on the logistical performance, it was shown that their interaction at a normalized level was significant concerning only the reduction of logistical costs, while there was I10 its significance in the customer service. In proving a hypothesis that the linkage between logistical activities and logistical strategy patterns would interact with each other and would have an effect on the logistical performance, it was shown in a differentiated, aggressive investment one among variously patterned logistical strategies that the customer linkage had a significant effect on the reduction of logistical costs, and in the improvement of customer service that the supplier linkage had a remarkable impact. It also was shown that in case of the cost reduction and offensive control strategy, the customer linkage had a remarkable effect, and th at in the improvement of customer service the intra-company and customer linkage had a significant effect. In the marketing and customer service strategy, finally, there was no any significant influence while the customer linkage had a significant impact in the improvement of customer service. Accordingly, whether or not individual companies utilize the logistical information system's functional utilization levels well will have an effect on their logistical performance, and how their supply chain management is well-linked will affect their logistical performance.
The purpose of this study was to propose a "user experience (UX)-centered product development process" so that the product design development process using the service design process can be systematized and used in practice. In a situation in which usability research on office phones is lacking compared to general home phones, this study expands to a product-based service design point of view rather than simple product development, intending to research ways to provide user experience value through office phone design in smart office. This study focused on extracting UX-centered user needs using the service design process and developing product design that realizes user experience value. In particular, the service design process was applied to systematically extract user needs and experience value elements in the product development process and to discover ideas that were converged with product-based services. For this purpose, the "Double Diamond Design Process Model," which is widely used in the service design field, was adopted. In addition, a product design development process was established so that usability improvement plans, user experience value elements, and product-service connected ideas could be extracted through a work-flow in which real users and people from various fields participate. Based on the double diamond design process, in the "Discover" information collection stage, design trends were identified mainly in the office phone markets. In the "Define" analysis and extraction stage, user needs were analyzed through user observation, interview, and usability survey, and design requirements and user experience issues were extracted. Persona was set through user type analysis, and user scenarios were presented. In the "Develop" development stage, ideation workshops and concept renderings were conducted to embody the design, and people from various fields within the company participated to set the design direction reflecting design preference and usability improvement plans. In the "Deliver" improvement/prototype development/evaluation stage, a working mock-up of a design prototype was produced and design and usability evaluation were conducted through consultation with external design experts. It is meaningful that it established a "UX-centered product development process" model that converged with the existing product design development process and service design process. Ultimately, service design-based product design development process was presented so that I Corp.'s products could realize user experience value through service convergence.
