지난 6월 24일 수원에서 초등학교 5학년생인 K양(11)의 자살사건은 게임아이템 구입비용에 대한 부모님의 꾸지람 때문인 것으로 밝혀지면서 업계에 큰 파문이 일었다.이에 업계는 대책마련에 부심하며 나름대로 예방책을 내놓았다. 게임포탈 한게임은 최근 ID당 결제액을 한 달에 5만원이 넘지 못하도록 조치했으며, 온라인 게임업체인 넥슨도 부모들의 항의가 늘어나면서 전화번호당 결제액을 7만원으로 축소했다.

이 시기는 에이즈에 대해 많은 것이 밝혀진 시기이다. 그와 아울러 에이즈에 대한 공포도 커졌으며 따라서 감염인에 대한 편견과 차별이 시작되었다. 또한 차츰 그 공포와 편견을 깨나갈 여러 가지 연구와 사건이 거듭되는 시기이기도 하다. 우리의 현재가 세계의 흐름에 비해 얼마나 뒤떨어져 있는지를 살펴 생각하며 앞으로 나아갈 길을 찾을 수 있는 계기가 될 수 있을 것이다.

Purpose: This study was performed to identify nursing students' fall prevention activities, health beliefs of falling and factors associated with fall prevention activities among nursing students. Methods: 149 nursing students from a university completed self-administered questionnaires including participants' characteristics, fall prevention activities, and health belief of falling. Hierarchical multiple regression analysis was used to determine significant independent factors of fall prevention activities. Results: The score for fall prevention activities was $62.40{\pm}9.78$, which was relatively high. The regression model had an adjusted $R^2$ of .16, which indicated that perceived susceptibility was a factor affecting fall prevention activities of nursing students. Conclusion: To increase perceived susceptibility, repetitive fall prevention education including various examples of falls could help nursing students to promote fall prevention activities. Nursing faculty should develop contents to increase recognition of obligation and responsibility regarding fall prevention in curriculum for nursing students.

The 9.11 demonstrated that terrorist attack could be more serious problem than the war in our modern life. No countries in the world have evaded being a target for terrorists today. As well as South Korea, the whole world must share attentions and responsibilities for fighting against the terrorism. Since the international terrorist groups have expanded their targets from Western countries to Koreans, civilian hostages are no longer other's affair; it became a serious threat to public. Increased Korean investment, trade, missionary, and travel overseas also expanded activity regions worldwide. It also result increased terrorist threats and possible abduction. The number of kidnapping crisis has increased since the terrorists use it as an effective method of sending a message. Piracy refers to a broad range of violent acts at sea, and has traditionally been regarded as common enemies. Piracy constitutes a great threat to the security of navigation as well as to the safety of vessels and crews. Lessons from hostage issues such as Korean hostage crisis in Somalia and Afghanistan show that it can cause criticism on moral issues if armed rescue missions fail or hostages are killed, so the governments and related corporations try to solve it by paying ransom. Terrorists and use these advantages in order to put a huge pressure on the governments. In this study we will look at essential characteristics and types of hostage abductions and recognition of national safety, lessons and solutions to previous Korean hostage cases in overseas. At the same time, it provides a guidelines of the direction in the fighting against terrorist groups and Piracy.

Due to the rapid developments of South Korea, local communities have faced various social pathologies which generated more violent crimes and criminalized younger students. Several horrendous violences, such as a Kangneung Girl assassination assault case in July 2017 and a Busan Girls assault case in September 2017, happened only between young students. This ignited a public uproar and people were more interested in related national policies and voiced for stronger penalties in ways that punish student offenders and abolish the juvenile law. In this respect, various effective policies are needed to prevent the school violence and to eliminate the students' fear of crime. These are expected to create an environment where students could enthusiastically study in a safe environment. Focusing on elementary school students, this study seeks to empirically analyse the effects of their perception of local crime control governance on their fear of crime and, subsequently, to suggest policy implications which could prevent future school violence and juvenile crimes and reduce the students' fear of crime. The results of this study are as follows: First, the analysis of the general fear of local crime control governance and the fear of crime showed that elementary school students' trust in police officers had a significant effect on the general fear. Second, the analysis of the local fear of crime control governance and the fear of crime highlighted that their trust in the police, social ties, intimacy between the police and residents had a significant effect on the specific fear. Therefore, this study is applicable in reality in that it can contribute to the prevention of school violence and reduction of fear of crime by constructing local crime control governance.

디지털 포렌식은 그동안 보안의 차선이 되어왔다. 디지털 포렌식은 늘 보안 사건이 일어난 후에만 사용되는 것으로 인식되었다. 산업의 규모가 커지고 보안의 범위가 넓어지면서 보안은 자본주의 사회에서 필수가 되었다. 이에 따라 디지털 포렌식의 역할은 중요해졌고 관심도 늘어나게 되었다. 하지만 보안 사건이 일어난 후, 그 뒤를 따라가는 것은 힘들고 한계가 있다. 특히 정보는 한번 새어나가면 걷잡을 수 없고, 경제적 손실도 막대하다. 또한 디지털 포렌식을 통해 증거를 수집한다고 해도 디지털 정보는 특성상 조작하기가 쉽기 때문에 법원에서 증거로 인정받기 위해서는 매우 까다로운 절차를 거쳐야 한다. 아직까지 한국에서는 디지털 증거를 어디까지 인정해야 하는지에 대한 명확한 기준이 없기 때문에 까다로운 절차를 거쳤다고 해서 증거로 인정받는다는 보장이 없다. 따라서 보안에 대해서는 예방하는 것이 최선이고 필수이다. 이 논문에서는 그동안 차선으로 인식되었던 디지털 포렌식 도구를 이용하여 보안 사건보다 한 발짝 앞서 보안을 관리하는 방법에 대해 검토하고자 한다.

랜섬웨어는 2021년 가장 주목해야 할 사이버 위협으로 여겨지며, 전 세계적으로 큰 피해를 입혔다. 특히 국가 핵심 인프라 시설과 기업을 대상으로 대규모 공격을 지속하였으며, 파일을 암호화하는 것 뿐만 아니라 기업의 기밀 정보를 유출함으로써 2차 피해 우려를 낳고 있다. 이에 따라 세계 각국에서는 랜섬웨어를 대응 및 예방하고자 다양한 지침을 발표하였다. 본 논문에서는 2021년 국내·외에서 발생한 랜섬웨어 사건·사고와 새롭게 등장한 랜섬웨어에 대해 알아보고, 국가별 랜섬웨어 대응 및 예방 정책에 관해 소개한다.

박근혜 대통령은 지난 11월 12일 열린 소방의 날 기념식 행사에서 최근의 사고현황에 심각한 우려를 표명하며, 이를 개선하기 위해 전력을 다하겠다고 천명했다. 당시 박 대통령은 "최근 빈발하고 있는 유해화학물질 누출사고를 비롯해 각종 재해에서 보듯이, 현대사회의 재난은 한 번 발생하면 피해규모가 매우 크고 돌이키기 힘든 고통을 초래하는 경우가 많다"면서 "국민 안전을 더욱 튼튼하게 지키는 안전관리 시스템을 구축해 나갈 것이라고 밝혔다. 이처럼 아직도 우리나라의 안전수준은 대통령이 우려를 표명할 정도로 심각성을 드러내고 있다. 해가 지나면서 조금씩 개선되는 양상을 보이고는 있지만, 선진국 수준의 안전문화는 여전히 우리에게 먼 얘기라고 할 수 있다. 올해 발생했던 수많은 재해와 사건사고가 이를 증명한다. 희망찬 기대를 안고 시작했던 2013년이었지만, 다양한 사건사고로 인해 연일 '안전불감증'이라는 단어가 끊임없이 회자됐다. 우리 안전문화의 현주소를 되짚어보고, 이것이 안전 선진국으로 가는 계기가 되길 바라면서 부실한 안전관리, 미흡한 안전의식이 원인이 되어 발생했던 2013년도의 주요 재해를 모아봤다.

최근 곰팡이에 오염된 사료를 먹은 애완동물의 대규모 폐사 및 급만성의 신장질환에 대한 문제가 우리나라를 비롯한 동남아시아에서 큰 이슈가 되었다. 이 사건은 우리나라에서의 애완동물에 대한 사회적인 인식의 변화와 또한 이미 TV등의 언론 매체를 통해서 널리 퍼져 있는 반려동물로서 그들의 복지와 권리에 대한 인식을 재고하는 계기가 되었다고 볼 수 있다. 이러한 사건을 보면서 정작 우리의 식탁에 오르고 있는 가축의 먹이, 즉 사료에 대해서는 사회적인 관심이 부족한 것이 아닌가 하는 생각이 든다. 최근 웰빙(well-being) 바람과 함께 생활 전반에 친환경 및 유기농에 대한 소비자들의 관심 증가와 요구가 늘어나고 있는 실정이다. 하지만 우리의 주요 육류 공급원인 소나 돼지 등의 가축들이 먹고 자라는 사료에 대한 관심은 섭섭한 마음이 들 정도로 부족하다. 이러한 시점에서 효율적인 사료관리를 통한 질병 제어 및 국민의 양질의 육류섭취를 위한 축산물 생산에 대해 얘기보고자 한다.
