The purpose of this study was to compare the visual sensibility of red shirts in university students of two countries, Korea and China in order to suggest the color planning for shirts. Seven tonal red shirts' visual sensibility and preferences were evaluated by the students of Korea and from China in the sense of sight. Evaluated data were analyzed by using frequency analysis, average, factor analysis and t-test. The visual sensibility of red shirts was classified into three factors: sporty, romantic and classic. Those factors of visual sensibility showed a significant difference according to nationality and gender. The Chinese students had a more sporty feel to the strong tone, and a more classic feel to the dark tone than the Korean students. The deep tone red shirts was reputed to be more romantic by the Korean students, but the light tone and the pale tone were considered more romantic by the Chinese students. Meanwhile, the effects of nationality and gender on seven tone of preferences for red shirts was significantly differed.

최근 Christian Louboutin사(社)는 Yves Saint Lauren사(社)에 구두 외부밑창에 빨간색을 사용하지 말 것을 요청했는데 Yves Saint Lauren사(社)가 이를 거절하자 빨간색 밑창에 대한 상표권에 기초해 뉴욕 남부지방법원에 가처분신청을 했다. 위 사례를 통해 패션산업에서 색채는 미를 표현하고 경쟁하기 위한 필수요소인데, 경쟁자에게 색채 사용을 금지할 수 있는 것인지, 패션산업에서 단색의 색채가 상표로 등록될 수 있는 것인지, 색채상표의 등록요건은 무엇인지를 검토하고자 한다.

In this study, the effect of light irradiation on tyrosinase activity during storage in a low temperature incubator was investigated, with the goal of identifying the appropriate wavelength and intensity of light for inhibiting tyrosinase activity. Fluorescent light and blue light emitting diode (LED) irradiation were found to inhibit tyrosinase activity. In particular, tyrosinase activity was significantly inhibited under high intensity blue LED irradiation, suggesting that the activity of tyrosinase present in vegetables or fruits might be inhibited by LED irradiation. Therefore, blue LED irradiation during food storage and the distribution stage would be useful for ensuring good quality of food, owing to the inhibition of the enzymatic browning reaction.

교통표지판 검출 및 인식은 차량의 자율주행 및 ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance System)의 필수적인 요소이다. 교통표지판의 각종 표식을 인식하기 위해서는 먼저 교통표지판 영역을 검출해야 하며, 이 작업은 통상적으로 교통표지판에 포함된 빨간색을 추출하는 컬러 필터링을 통해 이루어진다. 하지만 차량 영상에 나타나는 색상 성분은 태양광의 방향이나 날씨 등에 상당한 영향을 받으며 이러한 조도 환경은 차량이 주행하게 되면 시간적으로도 수시로 변화한다. 더군다나 사용하는 카메라의 내부적인 특성에 따라서도 색상 성분의 분포가 달라지기 때문에 컬러 필터링을 위한 임계값은 고정값을 사용하기 보다는 적응적으로 변화시킬 필요가 있다. 본 논문에서는 다양한 조도 환경과 다양한 카메라 종류에 따라서 영상 내 교통표지판의 빨간색 성분의 분포를 분석하고 이를 바탕으로 임계값을 가변적으로 설정하는 방법을 제안한다. 그리고 모의실험을 통해 제안 방법을 적용하면 고정된 임계값을 사용한 방법보다 조도변화에 강인하게 교통표지판 영역을 검출할 수 있음을 확인하였다.

This study examined whether the combination of the indoor temperature on the learning environment and the colors of the learning materials affect the learning performance. To do this, the condition of indoor temperature was divided into three conditions: the neutral condition which is the appropriate temperature condition of the learning activities ($22.5{\sim}24^{\circ}C$), the high-temperature condition (> $24^{\circ}C$), and the low-temperature condition (< $22.5^{\circ}C$). In addition, colors of red, blue, black, and green were used as the warm, cold, and neutral colors, and the verbal-working memory task was used as the learning task. As a result, it was not significant differences in the response time of the learning task, whereas, in the accuracy rate of the learning task, the performance was more accurate in red- and black-color conditions. These results could be interpreted as the saliency and color-temperature of the red color, and the familiarity and specificity of the black color.

This experiment was conducted to characterize the inheritance of petal color, flower-eye color, flower shape, leaf variegation pattern, and leaf-end shape in Cyclamen persicum. The segregation of $F_2$ and backcross populations from crosses between inbred lines was tested for Mendelian inheritance mode. From four different combinations of crosses, it was found that the petal color was controlled by a single incomplete dominant gene. The other characters, flower-eye color, flower shape, leaf variegation pattern and leaf-end shape were confirmed to be controlled by single complete dominant genes.

땀띠는 하루 종일 누워 지내는 신생아나 활동량이 많아 땀을 많이 흘리는 아이들에게 주로 발생한다. 살이 겹쳐 땀이 차는 목 주위나 겨드랑이, 이마, 팔꿈치 안쪽 등에 빨간색이나 흰색의 깨알 같은 돌기가 나타나면서 가렵다면 땀띠를 의심해 볼 수 있다. 땀띠를 방치할 경우 증상 부위가 더 넓어지고 땀띠로 인해 무른 피부가 세균에 의해 2차 감염 될 수 있으므로 주의해야 한다.

This study was conducted to investigate the microbial loads in mulberry fruits depending on cultivation environment and fruit ripeness. The population levels of total aerobic bacteria in mulberry fruits collected from open field orchards were higher than those from three plots protected within plastic green houses. In regards to fruit ripeness, the levels of total aerobic bacteria in ripe black fruits were higher than those in unripe green and red mulberry. From the farms into where livestock animals were allowed to enter, Escherichia coli was detected in soil at a level of 4.26~4.94 log CFU/g and in mulberry fruits at 5.03~6.07 log CFU/g, while no coliform and E. coli were detected from where the intrusion of livestock was prevented. We also examined the density change of inoculated E. coli in mulberry fruits as they were becoming mature. While E. coli did not increase in green fruits, two and four log CFU/g increases at $20^{\circ}C$ and $37^{\circ}C$, respectively, were observed with red and fully mature black mulberries during 48 hours incubation. To ensure the food safety of mulberry, it is suggested that the introduction of E. coli into a farm through livestock should be prevented and more hygienic caution should be taken especially when the fruits are ripe.
