  • In this paper, we identified the Black-box system with serious nonlinerity and fast dynamics using Neural Network. This NN have new structure and learned by RLS. It identify system in real-time without priori data. We use this NN to 7-DOF vehicle identification.

  • In this study, the modifications of the interior of bank branches that caused by the banking strategy, as well as customers' behavior, since the financial crisis in the late '90s, are investigated. By selecting and analysing the aspects of remodeling of twelve(12) branches in the Chung-Cheong area, the study finds a certain pattern in the changes as follows: 1) the area of counseling, including 'private banking' is increased while conventional customer service area is substantially decreased. 2) Combined with ATM, high-counter area is functionally separated from low-counter in order to provide more expeditious service. 3) Due to the lack of space of newly furnished 'quick' service area that is located near the entrance of the bank, entering / exiting possibly becomes agitating experience for customers. More accurate estimation of traffic, and appropriate space should be allocated in planning the area.

  • 실시간으로 빠른 응답을 원하는 시스템에서 임베디드 시스템은 매우 적절한 요소가 되었으며 원격제어를 위해 네트워크를 이용한 연구가 많아지고 있다. 본 논문에서는 PC기반의 원격제어 시스템을 임베디드화 하고 여기에 실시간 운영체제를 이식하여 시스템의 안정성과 속도 면에서 우수한 시스템을 구현하려고 한다. 이를 위하여 임베디드 시스템인 상용의 EZBoard와 운영체제로 real time OS를 사용한다. 네트워크로는 통신 프로토콜은 TCP/IP를 이용하려고 한다. 나아가 이 시스템을 Doorlock 제어 시스템에 적용시키려고 한다.

  • In this paper we propose the U-VR Simulator which seamlessly connects entities in real and virtual environments by exploiting context, based on the concept of ubiquitous virtual reality. Using the U-VR Simulator, a smart home environment can be simulated and new virtual entities such as sensors, actuators, and services can be added to existing real entities. The proposed approach is fast and cost-effective because the simulator effectively utilizes both existing and simulated devices. In addition, our approach allows application developers to rapidly develop U-VR applications and extend them to relevant domains. As a future work, we will expand our simulator to intelligently augment virtual entities into real environments.

  • Providing visual field for a driver is one of the most important things for safe driving. Therefore, it will be a first step fur the safe driving that the driver recognizes front and back outside scenes within short time in the car. Specially, it is essential to take the visual field in frequently foggy area where the traffic accident can cause highest rank in the number of deaths. In this paper, our technique can provide the visual field by displaying the location of neighboring vehicles on the monitoring system, embedded board navigator in the car, using the location information of the vehicles from GPS(Global Positioning System) in real time. It is expected that this system can contribute to help safe driving and to lower collision accidents by guiding to cope with unexpected circumstances.

ITS기반 도로교통 안전시스템 정착을 위한 아.태 지역의 공동 대응방안

  • 아시아의 도시교통사고는 빠른 인구증가와 경제성장으로 인한 자동차 보급 확대로 인해 OECD 국가에 비해 2${\sim}$3배 높은 수준으로 교통사고절감을 위한 대안 마련이 시급한 실정이다. 이에 본고에서는 ITS기반 도로교통 안전시스템의 정착을 통해서 아시아 도시의 공통된 교통안전문제를 해소하기 위한 공동대응방안을 제시하고 있다. 이를 요약하면, 첫째, 도로사고와 ITS관계를 규명하고 사고요인을 도로상에서 제거할 수 있는 ITS기술을 소개하였다. 교통사고원인의 95%가 운전자관련인자로 나타나 운전자관련 ITS요소기술(HMI 등)의 개발이 시급한 것으로 나타났다. 또한 현재 도로 안전분야에서 적용 가능한 실용기술로는 돌발상황관리시스템, 충돌경고시스템, 비상연락시스템, 단속시스템 등인 것으로 판단된다. 둘째, ITS기반 도로교통 안전시스템의 조기 정착을 위해서는 기존 조직 법 제도의 정비가 필요하다. 아시아 도시에서는 ITS 도입 초기 정부주도형으로 추진하는 것이 바람직한데, 이를 위해서는 정부조직 내 ITS 전담기구 (Headquarter)를 신설하고, 도로안전 ITS관련 법령 및 ITS Master Plan에 근거한 권한과 사업, 예산을 확보해야한다. 또한 인프라 및 ITS 구축 운영과 함께 RSA(Road Safety Audit)와 같은 선진안전제도 시스템을 벤치마킹하여 국내 현실에 맞도록 접목시켜 나가야한다. 셋째, 교통관제 (광역)정보센터, 버스센터, 구간속도단속 등 혁신적인 도로안전사업을 지속적으로 발굴 확충하여 노하우를 축적해야 한다. 넷째, 아시아 도시의 공통된 교통문제를 해소하기 위한 공동대응방안을 마련하기 위하여 각국의 노하우를 전파하고 공유하는 창구로 아시아 태평양지역 ITS포럼을 더욱 육성해야 하겠다.

  • In this paper described an auto tuning neuro-fuzzy PID controller based neural network. The PID type controller has been widely used in industrial application due to its simply control structure, easy of design, and inexpensive cost. However, control performance of the PID type controller suffers greatly from high uncertainty and nonlinearity of the system, large disturbances and so on. In this paper will design to take advantage of neural network fuzzy theory and pid controller auto toning technique. The value of initial scaling factors of the proposed controller were determined on the basis of the conventional PID controller parameters tuning methods and then they were adjusted by using neural network control techniques. This controller simple structure and computational complexity are less, and also application is easy and performance is excellent in system that is strong and has nonlinearity to system dynamic behaviour change or disturbance. Finally, the proposed auto tuning neuro-fuzzy controller is applied to magnetic levitation. Simulation results demonstrated that the control performance of the proposed controller is better than that of the conventional controller.

Removal of Bacteriophage T7 from Artificial groundwater by Layered Double Hydroxide (층상이중수산화물에 의한 인공지하수내의 박테리오파지 T7 제거)

  • The objective of this study was to investigate the virus removal from artificial groundwater using Mg-Fe layered double hydroxide (LDH). Batch experiments were conducted under various experimental conditions to examine bacteriophage T7 removal with Mg-Fe LDH. Results showed that the removal of T7 by Mg-Fe LDH was a fast process, reaching equilibrium within 2~3 hrs. Mg-Fe LDH had the virus removal capacity of $1.57{\times}10^8pfu/g$ with a removal percent of 96%. Results also showed that the effect of solution pH on T7 removal was minimal between pH 6.2 and 9.1. The influence of anions ($SO_4^{2-}$, $CO_3^{2-}$, $HPO_4^{2-}$) on T7 removal was significant due to their competition with bacteriophage at the sorption sites on LDH, while the effect of $NO_3^-$ was negligible. This study demonstrated that Mg-Fe LDH could be applied as adsorbents for virus removal in water treatment.

  • A lot of piping systems have been used from nuclear power systems to water supply systems. The maintenance of the piping systems is needed to ensure proper operation of the piping systems. Failure of the large pipe systems especially such as KDHC(Korea District Heating Corporation) can be a matter directly related to the enterprise productivity and profitability. It can also lead to very important issues in promoting public safety and convenience. Therefore a method of quick and safety repairs have been emerged as the most important problem. In this study, freezing seal isolation method using liquid nitrogen cryogenic refrigerant was developed for the maintenance of a pre insulated heat transport pipe of KDHC with a diameter of 300 mm. In this study, by employing computational analysis techniques we performed the flow and heat transfer analysis for the targeted pre insulated heat transfer pipe and freezing seal jacket(ice-Plug) and have selected for optimal system. The detailed design model based on the results of the computational analysis finally was produced. A laboratory-scale test apparatus were designed and the freezing seal isolation self-test carried out. Also the performance assessment tests in the test bed of KDHC were carried out for on-site application.

A Comparative Study on the Korean Child Welfare Law and the Japanese Child Welfare Law (한일 아동복지법의 내용에 관한 비교연구)

  • The purpose of this study is to suggest the revision direction of the Korean Child Welfare Law based on the results of the comparative analysis on the Korean Child Welfare Law and the Japanese Child Welfare Law. The main results are: Both laws have only two provisions about children's participation right. The child protective system in Japan secures the swiftness of within-two-months period of temporary protection through the child consulting center, the investigation right by the child welfare worker, publicity, enforcement on the parents' rights, and the network with the nearest child supporting center. Furthermore, those provisions with the notifying obligation by a finder of the child who needs protection and the limit of protection period are guaranteed in order to ensure the effectiveness of law enforcement. However, Korean child protective system functions only as pre-substitutive service. While the provisions for the disability children account for 21.2% of the total Japanese law, there is no provision on that in the Korean law. The Japanese law is substantially different from the Korean law in a sense that it obligates the minimum quality criteria of child service and national financial burden on the child welfare. While the Japanese law clearly stipulates the national responsibility in relation to the degree of the rights, the Korean law does not directly touch upon it. Furthermore, the Japan's law guarantees that not only children but also protectors retain the right to choose and apply for services.
