다양한 정보 채널의 등장과 함께 빅데이터에 대한 중요성이 부각되고 있다. 본고에서는 빅데이터를 활용한 응용을 활성화기 위해 국가별 빅데이터 정책을 분석하고 분야별로 빅데이터를 활용한 사례를 기술한다. 빅데이터를 활용하여 일상 생활에서 일반 사용자들이 사용할 수 있는 응용 서비스 원천 기술 및 서비스 기술을 개발하고 있는 충북대학교 빅데이터생활형 서비스 연구센터(BLSRC)를 소개하고 센터에서 개발한 응용 서비스를 기술한다. 또한 빅데이터 사용을 활성화하고 실생활에 응용하기 위한 방안을 제언한다.

본 논문에서는 기존의 산업 및 서비스 변화에 따라 발생하는 빅데이터 분석 서비스 처리를 위한 빅데이터 분석 서비스 브로커 시스템을 제안한다. 기존의 빅데이터 분석 시스템은 분석하는 시간 동안 지속적으로 자원을 점유하고 있어야 하며, 이러한 서비스를 이용하기 위해 내부에 대규모의 시스템을 구축하고 지속적으로 운영해야하는 단점이 존재한다. 본 논문에서는 빅데이터 분석에 필요한 자원을 효과적으로 사용하기 위해 클라우드 기반의 자원 관리와 연계하고 서비스 이용을 용이하게 하기 위해 단일 엔드포인트 기반의 빅데이터 분석 서비스 호출 구조를 설계하였다. 이를 통해 빅데이터 서비스 분석에 소요되는 자원 점유에 따라 동적으로 자원을 생성 관리하여 자원을 보다 효과적으로 이용할 수 있는지 테스트베드를 구축하여 서비스 이용 및 자원 사용을 효과적으로 하는지 확인하였다. 또한, 이를 통해 대규모 자원을 지속적으로 점유해야하는 빅데이터 분석 플랫폼의 자원사용에 대한 한계를 일부 해소하여 자원을 효과적으로 이용할 수 있는 것을 확인하였다.

Big data refers to dataset whose size is beyond the ability of typical database software tools to capture, store, manage, and analyze. And now it is considered to create the new opportunity in every industry. The purpose of this study is to develop of big data services in public library for improved library services. To this end, analysed the type of library big data and needs of stockholders through the various methods such as deep interview, focus group interview, questionnaire. At first step, we defined the 16 big data service models from interview with librarians, and LIS professions. Second step, it was considered necessity, timeliness, possibility of development. We developed the final two services called on 'Decision Support Services for Public Librarians' and 'Book Recommendation Services for Users.'

This study defines concept and service framework of Geo-Spatial Big Data(GSBD). The major concept of the GSBD is formulated based on the 7V characteristics: the general characteristics of big data with 3V(Volume, Variety, Velocity); Geo-spatial oriented characteristics with 4V(Veracity, Visualization, Versatile, Value). GSBD is the technology to extract meaningful information from Geo-spatial fusion data and support decision making responding with rapidly changing activities by analysing with almost realtime solutions while efficiently collecting, storing and managing structured, semi-structured or unstructured big data. The application area of the GSBD is segmented in terms of technical aspect(store, manage, analyze and service) and public/private area. The service framework for the GSBD composed of modules to manage, contain and monitor GSBD services is suggested. Such additional studies as building specific application service models and formulating service delivery strategies for the GSBD are required based on the services framework.

With the advent of the fourth industrial revolution, each industry has been innovated with new concepts. New concept of each industry takes advantage of new information technologies based on big data infra. Thus quality control of big data is becoming more important. In this paper, we try to develop a framework of big data service quality through a case study. A 'Legal Tech' service was selected for the case study. Especially a big data quality framework was developed for a living law service in the Ministry of Justice.

현재 국내 해양에 설치된 항로표지를 통해 해양 상태에 대한 다양한 정보가 수집/관리되고 있으며, 기상청에서 제공되는 기상 데이터 등 항로표지 데이터와 연계를 통해 유용한 서비스 개발이 가능한 데이터가 생상되고 있으나, 각 데이터의 관리 주체/시스템이 분산되어 효율적으로 활용되기 어려운 실정이다. 이에, 본 논문에서는 항로표지 데이터와 타 시스템에서 수집/관리되고 있는 데이터의 연계/분석을 통해 항로표지 데이터 기반의 다양한 서비스 개발에 활용 가능한 스마트 항로표지 빅데이터 플랫폼 구축 기술을 제안한다.

전 세계적으로 다양한 영역에서 빅데이터 활용 성공 사례가 증가하게 되면서 도서관 분야에서도 빅데이터를 활용한 신규 서비스 개발 필요성이 제기 되고 있다. 본 연구는 공공도서관의 정보서비스 제공 및 도서관 운영 실태, 이용자 특성 등을 분석하였고, 이를 바탕으로 새로운 도서관 패러다임을 이끄는 도서관 빅데이터 서비스 모형을 개발하고자 한다. 먼저, 설문 대상을 사서 집단과 이용자 집단으로 나누어 공공도서관 이용현황을 파악하였고, 대표적인 공공도서관 서비스인 장서개발 및 열람봉사, 이용자 맞춤형 추천서비스에 대한 수요도를 분석하였다. 추가적으로 응답에 대한 집단 간 차이에 대해 살펴보았다. 분석결과를 토대로 관련 서비스 개발을 위한 방향성을 도출하였고, 향후 활용 가능한 도서관 빅데이터 서비스 정립을 위한 기초 방안을 제시하였다.

최근 활발히 연구되고 있는 빅데이터와 의료 영역이 융합되면서, 보건의료서비스 분야에서는 데이터 집약적이고 공간을 초월한 새로운 서비스패러다임의 움직임이 진행되고 있다. 본고에서는 이러한 빅데이터를 활용하여 건강증진 및 예방을 위하여 생활 속에서 제공되고 있는 생활환경 및 보건 데이터 기반의 라이프케어 서비스동향과 기술에 관하여 알아본다.
