This paper presents the core technology of Construction Business Process Automation to model and automate construction business processes. Business Process Reengineering (BPR) and Automation (BPA) have been recognized as one of the important aspects in construction business management. However, BPR requires a lot of efforts to identify, document, implement, execute, maintain, and keep track thousands of business processes to deliver a project. Moreover, existing BPA technologies used in existing Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems do not lend themselves to effective scalability for construction business process management. Application of Workflow and Object Technologies would be quite effective in implementing a scalable enterprise application for construction business processes by addressing how: 1) Automated construction management tasks are developed as software components, 2) The process modeling is facilitated by dragging-and dropping task components in a network, 3) Raising business requests and instantiating corresponding process instances are delivered, and 4) Business process instances are executed by using workflow technology based on real-time simulation engine. This paper presents how the construction business process automation is achieved by using equipment reservation and cancellation processes simplified intentionally.

The business process management system that can integrate and manage a medical institution's processes has been increased importance to adapt to constantly changing medical environments and share information with various external medical institutions. The business process management system is an automated process tool that converts the graphic-based BPMN process model into a WS-BPEL, the execution language of the web service environment, and executes it through the process engine. However, the BPMN process model can be difficult to convert into WS-BPEL due to several ambiguities and structural inconsistencies. The process model may also contain structural anomalies that can lead to execution errors during process execution. In this paper, we present business process model formalization and structural anomaly verification techniques for facilitating integrated process management in medical institutions. Through the case study based on the IHE profile, we presented a formalized BPMN process model and verify the structural anomalies. We show the superiority of the proposed technique through comparative experiments with other related works.

Workflow 관리 시스템은 비즈니스 프로세스의 자동화를 지원하는 것으로서, 비즈니스 프로세스의 각 업무 단계에 관련된 인적 자원 및 IT자원을 적절히 활용하도록 구현되어야 한다. 이러한 Workflow 관리 시스템은 Workflow 프로세스에 대한 명세로부터 실행 모델이 구성되어 Workflow 엔진을 통해 수행되는 과정을 거친다. 한편, 명세된 프로세스의 논리적 검증과 성능 예측을 위하여는 Workflow 의 수행 전에 시뮬레이션을 통한 분석이 선행되어야 한다. 본 연구에서는 기술된 Workflow 프로세스 명세로부터 이산사건 시스템 형식론인 DEVS를 기반으로 통일된 실행모델을 생성하고, 이를 바탕으로 시뮬레이션 분석과 실시간 수행을 하는 시뮬레이션 엔진과 실시간 분산수행 엔진을 각각 개발하였다. 간단한 업무 프로세스의 예를 통하여 분산환경에서 실행함으로써 제안된 방법의 유용성을 검증할 수 있었다.

조직내의 자동화된 업무 프로세스 진행과 문서 교환의 목적으로 출발한 워크플로우 기술은 비즈니스 프로세스를 전사적으로 관리하여 조직 내부에서 외부로 이어지는 다수 조직의 비즈니스 프로세스 전체가 하나의 프로세스로 관리, 통제, 감시, 최적화 될 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 워크플로우 시스템을 사용하는 기업이나, 병원, 공공기관들이 각각의 워크플로우 프로세스론 웹상에서 공유하여 서로 다른 시스템을 운영하는 기업에서도 자신이 필요로 하는 프로세스를 검색하여 사용하고 필요에 따라서는 수정작업을 걸쳐 사용할 수 있도록 하여 시스템간의 상호운용성 등을 높일 수 있는 시스템을 설계하였다.

In this paper, we propose a new type of process discovery framework, which is named as control-path-driven process group discovery framework, to be used for process mining and process reengineering in supporting life-cycle management of business process models. In addition, we develop a process mining system based on the proposed framework and perform experimental verification through it. The process execution event logs applied to the experimental effectiveness and verification are specially defined as Process BIG-Logs, and we use it as the input datasets for the proposed discovery framework. As an eventual goal of this paper, we design and implement a control path-driven process group discovery algorithm and framework that is improved from the ρ-algorithm, and we try to verify the functional correctness of the proposed algorithm and framework by using the implemented system with a BIG-Log dataset. Note that all the process mining algorithm, framework, and system developed in this paper are based on the structural information control net process modeling methodology.

본 논문은 BPM 시스템에 의해서 관리되는 비즈니스 프로세스의 효율성을 증대시키는 새로운 방법으로 TOC(Theory Of Constraint)이론에서 사용되는 DBR(Drum, Buffer, Rope) 개념을 적용한다. TOC이론은 주로 생산공정의 효율증대를 위한 방법론으로 인식되어 왔지만 비즈니스 프로세스에서도 적용이 되도록 BP-DBR (Business Process - DBR) 방법론을 개발한다. 또한 이를 통해 실제 금융권에서 사용되는 프로세스 효율성이 증대되는 것을 시뮬레이션 실험을 통해 보인다.

비즈니스 프로세스란 기업의 모든 고객에게 적절한 서비스를 제공하기 위해 순차적 또는 동시적으로 발생할 수 있는 모든 연관된 업무의 집합을 의미한다. 이러한 비즈니스 프로세스는 프로세스 설계 작업을 통하여 시스템 차원에서 관리함으로써 프로세스의 생산성 및 효율성 등을 확대하게 된다. 하지만 프로세스 설계 작업은 주로 사람에 의해 수행되기 때문에 예상하지 못한 오류들이 발생할 수 있게 된다. 이러한 설계 오류들은 기업이 원하는 과정으로 프로세스가 진행하지 않을 수 있으며, 이는 기업의 막대한 인적 손실 및 비용 손실을 초래하게 된다. 그러므로 비즈니스 프로세스 설계 단계에서 오류가 없도록 설계 하거나 또는 미리 정의된 오류 유형들을 설계 도구를 통하여 검출 할 수 있는 작업이 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 비즈니스 프로세스 설계 단계에서의 오류 검출 작업에 활용될 수 있도록 유형 별로 설계 오류들을 분석 하고 정의하였다.

One of the business in the future will be executed by Business to Business(B to B) model of E-Commerce. The concept of the B to B model composes the work process, people, and supporting environment. The work processes are related to the information process, technologies, and standards. Information process elements contains digital data exchange, data sharing, and collaboration. This paper designed and implemented the XML-based Business Flow Management System(BFMS) for B to B model of E-commerce in the Internet. BFMS in this paper automatically performs the information process for B to B model such as electronic bidding system including purchase order management, bidding management, delivery management to build E-Commerce in the Internet. XML can be used as document standard between business for skating and exchange of data and also provide platform independent environment.

기업환경 영역의 글로벌화 진전에 따라 파트너 쉽이 기업의 활동의 중요요소로 대두되고 있으며 협업을 위한 프로세스 관리에 어려움을 겪게 된다. 이렇게 확대 분산되고 있으며 잦은 변경, 프로세스 자체의 방대해짐과 복잡해짐과 동시에 사람의 판단에 대한 의존도가 높아지는데 따른 리스크의 증가를 극복하고 효율적인 경영을 하기 위해서는 기업을 구성하고 있는 고객, 파트너, 임직원, 정보시스템과 비즈니스 프로세스 등을 효율적으로 관리할 수 있어야 한다. 업무 생산성과 효율성을 높이기 위해서는 비즈니스프로세스를 중심으로 이러한 단위업무 들을 연계하고 자동화시킬 필요가 있으며, 이를 가능케 하는 해결책이 바로 BPM(Business Process Management) 솔루션이다. 본고에서는 통합 솔루션으로서의 BPM 과 그 적용 사례를 국내 기업 중심으로 소개한다.

최근 다양한 업무형태가 등장함에 따라 특정업종이나 기업을 대상으로 기업간 비즈니스에 대란 정보시스템 구현 및 업무 프로세스 리엔지니어링을 통한 혁신을 지원해 줄 수 있는 체계의 도입 및 구현에 대한 요구가 증가하고 있다. 기업이 해당 업무의 정보시스템 구현과 업무의 경쟁력 강화를 뒷받침하기 위해서는 현행 업무프로세스에 대한 표준화가 중요란 사항이나, 현재 기업간 업무에 대해서는 이를 뒷받침 해줄 수 있는 프로세스 및 데이터의 분류와 분석을 위한 통합화, 표준화 작업이 부족한 상태이며, 이를 기반으로 이루어지는 업종별 핵심 기능 프로세스에 대란 표준화와 개발 분야도 미비한 실정이다. 특히 보편적으로 기업간 업무가 많이 발생하는 유통 분야의 경우 이러한 업종내 업무프로세스의 표준을 체계화 하는 필요성이 크게 대두되고 있다. 최근 매우 활성화 되고있는 프랜차이즈 산업의 경우 프랜차이즈 비즈니스의 특성상 경영효율을 높이기 위해 본사의 관리 통제 하에 운영되고 있으며, 상품도 본사에 의해 통일적, 정형적으로 기획되는 둥 프랜차이즈 비즈니스 특유의 경영 특질을 갖고 있다. 그러나 업무에 대란 표준화가 되어 있지 않은 상태에서 프랜차이즈를 운영한다면 본사차원에서는 오히려 인원과 경비만 늘어 프랜차이즈의 가장 큰 장점인 다점화의 장점이 없어지게 되고, 프랜차이즈 사업을 하고자하는 가맹점 입장에서도 프로세스의 차이와 비표준에서 오는 혼란인 많아 이를 쉽고, 체계적으로 접근 딸 수 잇는 표준 프로세스 작업의 필요성이 높다고 할 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 보편적으로 기업간 업무가 많이 발생하는 유통 분야의 프랜차이즈 산업을 대상으로 기업정보시스템 구현 및 경쟁력 강화를 뒷받침하기 위해서, 기업간 프로세스 협업(collaboration) 부분의 데이터 및 서식, 이를 취급하는 기능과 프로세스에 대란 분석을 통해 업무 프로세스 모델링 방법론과 관련한 모델링 지침 및 메타모델을 이용한 표준 업무 프로세스 모델을 개발하여 기업간 업무 프로세스 표준화에 대한 체계적인 관리에 대한 방안을 연구하고자 한다.
