건설안전리포트 - 기본과 원칙이 살아있는 '명품' 안전관리

  • 수도 서울의 정중앙 중구. 이곳엔 서울시청을 비롯해 주요 대기업 본사와 유명 호텔, 복합 쇼핑몰 등이 대거 밀집해 있다. 때문에 중구에는 비즈니스의 중심지, 쇼핑의 천국 등의 호칭이 늘 따라붙는다. 하지만 앞으로는 이런 중구에 또 하나의 호칭이 더해질 것으로 보인다. 바로 '주거문화 중심지'가 그것이다. 현재 중구 곳곳에선 뉴타운, 재개발사업 등이 추진 중인 가운데 미래형 주상복합 건물들이 속속 들어서고 있다. 이런 변화의 중심에는 두산중공업이 시공하고 있는 '청계천 두산 위브 더 제니스'가 있다. 이곳은 신당역을 옆에 두고 있는 것은 물론 거대 쇼핑 단지인 동대문도 지척에 두고 있다. 또 일품 산책로인 청계천과도 가깝다. 실로 문화와 환경이 어우러진 일등급 주거지의 탄생이 예고되고 있는 것이다. 그래서일까? 이곳을 시공하고 있는 두산중공업의 자부심은 남다르다. 모든 현장 임직원이 빈틈없는 안전관리로 최고의 작품을 만들겠다는 의지를 불태우고 있는 것이다. '안전'으로 중구의 신 주거명작을 빚고 있는 이곳 현장을 찾아가 봤다.

공중 무선 랜 서비스 동향 (Trends of Public Wireless LAN Service)

  • 최근 호텔, 커피숍, 레스토랑, 컨벤션 센터 등 유동 인구가 잦은 이른바 핫 스팟이라고 불리우는 지역에서 IEEE 802.11b와 같은 무선 랜 기술을 활용하여 가입자들에게 고속 무선 네트워크 접속 서비스를 제공하는 사업자들이 전세계적으로 점차 늘어나고 있다. 아직까지는 특정 사업자의 핫 스팟으로 서비스 가능 지역이 제한되어 있기 때문에 가용성이 낮아 앞으로 통신 서비스의 주류로 성장하기에는 어려움이 많을 것으로 예상되지만, 무선 랜은 고속 전송 속도와 넓은 서비스 커버리지 그리고 고속 이동성을 동시에 만족시키는 4세대 이동 통신 기술이 개발되기 전까지, 당분간 유선과 무선 기술 간의 가교 역할을 수행할 것으로 기대되고 있다. 따라서 본 고에서는 최근 국내에서도 큰 주목을 받고 있는 공중 무선 랜 서비스의 특성 및 비즈니스 모델을 분석하고, 각 지역별 서비스 사업자들의 동향을 파악함으로써 앞으로의 시장 발전 가능성을 탐색해 보고자 한다.

하얼빈 국제빙설제의 사례로 본 겨울축제의 방문동기 및 시장 세분화 연구 (A Study on the Motivation and Market Segmentation of the Winter Festival as a Case of Harbin International Ice and Snow Festival)

  • Purpose - The purpose of this study is to derive sub-group of Chinese residents to Harbin International Ice and Snow Festival through market segmentation and to identify their characteristics of each group. Design/methodology/approach - The survey was conducted with a total of 405 Chinese residents, and empirical analysis was conducted using SPSS program. Findings - As a result of the analysis, four factors were derived. Based on the factors, four sub-markets were derived by conducting cluster analysis for market segmentation. Market strategies for each sub-group were discussed based on significant differences between clusters according to demographic characteristics. Research implications or Originality - The results of this study contribute to find out potential target market of Chinese residents, and to provide data for better positing of Harbin International Ice and Snow Festival.

메타버스에 관한 연구: 뉴스 빅데이터 서비스 활용과 사례 연구를 중심으로 (A Study on the Metaverse: Focused on the Application of News Big Data Service and Case Study)

  • This study aims to gain insight through understanding the Metaverse, which has recently become a hot topic. The study utilizes the methods of case study and News Bigdata Analysis Services. The Metaverse can be defined as a world with no separation between the virtual and real worlds. Currently, the Metaverse is dominated mainly by the MZ generation, but just like smartphones have quickly entered our lives, the Metaverse will soon, too, become a part of our lives. To follow up on this change, all companies, including global companies, are going after the Metaverse. Today, the Metaverse is successfully being used in all types of fields, including gaming, performing arts, business, etc., and its essential technologies include VR/AR/MR/XR and AI. This study intends to help understand the Metaverse through a case analysis of Zepeto, which has 200 million users worldwide. On Zepeto, users can decorate their own avatars, hang out with friends, go to art galleries and performances, and create and sell items. Of these users, 90% are from outside of South Korea, and 80% are teenagers. With most of the users being underage, many legal and social problems also follow. Nevertheless, who will be the first to conquer the new world of the Metaverse will continue to be a big issue. This study also analyzes domestic news articles about the Metaverse by utilizing the BigKinds system. Starting in 1996, the number of articles about the Metaverse each year remains single digit, until in 2020 when the number sharply rises to 86 news. As of June 2021, there are 1,663 articles on the Metaverse. This study suggests that the Metaverse should now be carefully examined and closely followed.

  • 관광산업은 최근 코로나19 유행으로 인해 위기에 봉착해 있으며, 이를 극복하기 위해 무엇보다 수익성 개선이 매우 중요한 상황이다. 이 때 여행 수요 자체가 축소된 코로나19와 같은 상황에서는 수익 증대를 위해 객실 점유율을 높이기 위한 공격적인 영업전략보다 어려운 여건 속에서도 찾아온 고객에게 객실 외 추가상품을 판매하여 객단가를 높이는 방향이 더 효율적일 것이다. 국내 관광 연구 분야에서 머신러닝 기법은 수요예측을 중심으로 연구된 바 있으나 교차판매 예측에 대해서는 연구된 바가 거의 없다. 또한 넓은 의미로는 호텔과 같은 숙박업종 이지만 회원제 중심으로 운영하며 숙박과 취사에 적합한 시설을 갖추고 있는 리조트 업종에 특화된 연구는 더욱이 전무한 실정이다. 이에 본 연구에서는 실제 리조트 회사의 투숙 데이터로 다양한 머신러닝 기법을 활용하여 교차판매 예측 모형을 제안하고자 한다. 또한 설명가능한 인공지능(eXplainable AI) 기법을 적용해 교차판매에 영향을 미치는 요인이 무엇인지 해석하고 어떻게 영향을 미치는지 실증 분석을 통해 확인해 보고자 한다.

지역사회경험학습(Community Based Learning: CBL) 기반 대학 통일관광경영 수업 모듈 개발 (Unification Tourism Management Class Module Developed by Community Based Learning(CBL))

  • Purpose - This study was to establish a unified tourism management class for university students based on Gangwon-do. Community based learning(CBL) was applied to provide a tangible and intangible resource of tourism resources the theoretical approaches and the actual experiences of the community. Design/methodology/approach - In order to design a unified tourism management module, this study applied qualitative research and quantitative research methods to collect information on the direction of the module. the study conducted in-depth interviews and then an online survey. Findings - According to the results of the study, the main parts should include necessity of unification, inter-Korean tourism, inter-Korean cooperation, inter-Korean economy, and international relations. Research implications or Originality - The overall composition of the unification tourism management class should be designed as the unification tourism management theory to acquire the subject knowledge, the field trip to the border area for experiential learning, and the assignment of the field study task to understand the community.

소셜 미디어 빅데이터를 활용한 호캉스(hocance) 현상 분석 (An Analysis of the Hocance Phenomenon using Social Media Big Data)

  • Purpose - The purpose of this study was to examine the recent popular consumption trend, the hocance phenomenon, using social media big data. The study intended to present practical directions and marketing measures for the recovery and growth of the hotel industry after COVID-19 pandemic. Design/methodology/approach - Big data analysis has been used in various fields, and in this study, it was used to understand the hocance phenomenon. For three years from January 1, 2018 to December 31, 2020, we collected text data including the keyword 'hocance' from the blog and cafe of NAVER and Daum. TEXTOM and UCINET 6 were used to collect and analyze the data. Findings - According to the results of analysis, the words such as 'hocance', 'hotel', 'Seoul', 'travel', 'swimming pool', 'Incheon', 'breakfast', 'child' and 'friend' were identified with high frequency. The results of CONCOR analysis showed similar results in all three years. It has been confirmed that 'swimming pool', 'breakfast', 'child' and 'friend' are important when deciding on the hocance package. Research implications or Originality - The study was differentiated in that it used social media big data instead of traditional research methods. Furthermore, it reflected social phenomena as a consumption trend so there was practical value in establishing marketing strategies for the tourism and hotel industry.

워라밸(Work-Life-Balance)과 삶의 질(Quality of Life) 영향 관계 분석: 서비스업 종사자를 대상으로 (Examining the Impacts of Work-Life-Balance (WLB) on Quality of Life (QOL): Focusing on Employees in Service Industry)

  • Purpose - The main purpose of this study is to investigate service industry employee' perceptions of Work-Life-Balance (WLB) and the influences of these perceptions on their overall Quality of Life (QOL). The study hypothesizes that employees' overall Quality of Life is influenced by Work-Life-Balance. Design/methodology/approach - The target population for this research consisted of service industry employees. The data was collected using the online-survey method and 449 usable responses were analyzed using AMOS program. Findings - The results indicated that psychological environment and family environment positively affected overall quality of life each, and work environment negatively influenced on overall quality of life. Research implications or Originality - Despite the importance of Work-Life-Balance (WLB), most of previous studies have investigated WLB from company perspective while limited research has examined employees' WLB perceptions. The findings of this study enrich knowledge of WLB from employee perspective especially in service industry.

제주관광과 스포츠관광에 관한 연구의 키워드 네트워크에 대한 이해 (An Understanding of Keyword Networks on Research Trends on Jeju Tourism and Sports Tourism)

  • Purpose - The purpose of this study was to conduct a preliminary study to identify key trends on research articles indexed in KCI in relation to tourism in Jeju and sports tourism. Design/methodology/approach - Information regarding research articles focused on Jeju tourism and sports tourism indexed in KCI (145 and 120 articles respectively) were collected and finally abstract written in Korean of 100 and 91 articles on sports tourism and Jeju tourism respectively were chosen for the further analysis after removing redundant articles. R program was used to analyze keyword frequencies, co-occurring terms, and degree/betweeness centrality measures and visualize the keyword network results. Findings - Event, marketing, content, program, implication, service, stadium, and tourism destination have been identified as keywords with highest frequencies among research on sport tourism, whereas tourism destination, image, brand, content, data, Chinese, satisfaction, eco-tourism service, place of arrival were highly appearing terms among research on Jeju tourism. Research implications or Originality - This study highlighted that Jeju has been interlinked with a range of terms such as programs influencing Jeju tourism, natural environment, tourism-related resources (e.g., museums, dramas, etc.), whereas sports has been closely related to sports event and vaiours types of sports (e.g., bicycle, staking, and scuber), but not to Jeju-do.

무형 문화자원의 관광 정책적 활용을 위한 경제적 가치평가: 아리랑을 중심으로 (Economic Value Evaluation for applying Intangible Cultural Resources to Tourism Policy: Focusing on 'Arirang')

  • Purpose - This study aims to develop a valid and appropriate method for measuring the economic value of intangible cultural resources. Design/methodology/approach - Building upon the concepts explored in many studies on the total value regulation of public goods or environmental goods, which are non-market value commodities, with a focus on the intangible cultural property Arirang, this study aims to formulate a new economic value concept for cultural resources that contributes to the overall economic total value, including non-use value. Based on this foundation, the study aim to identify and apply the most efficient model(CVM) among economic value measurement methods, as suggested by Tietenberg (2003). Findings - This involves estimating economic value through consumer behavior, encompassing the use or experience of cultural resources, as well as utilizing statements to estimate economic methods through consumer surveys. Only by presenting individual resource economic values of cultural resources in objective figures can a foundation be established for creating budgets and organizational structures to promote projects and policies. Research implications or Originality - Appropriate decisions can then be made by comparing these values with the expected costs in the management and planning process.
