  • Many problems are arisen due to the weakness in the security and invasion to privacy by malicious attacker or internal users while various data services are available in ubiquitous network environment. The matter of controlling security for various contents and large capacity of data has appeared as an important issue to solve this problem. The allocation methods of Ito, Saito and Nishizeki based on traditional polynomial require all shares to restore the secret information shared. On the contrary, the secret information can be restored if the shares beyond the threshold value is collected. In addition, it has the effect of distributed DBMS operation which distributes and restores the data, especially the flexibility in realization by using parameters t,v,k in combinatorial design which has regularity in DB server and share selection. This paper discuss the construction of new share allocation method and data distribution/storage management with the application of matrix structure of t-(v,k,1) design for allocating share when using secret sharing in management scheme to solve the matter of allocating share.

  • The Maritime Cloud is a technology that enables the seamless exchange of information between several communication links in the maritime domain. Although research on The Maritime Cloud security is still at an early stage, furthering this knowledge is vital to securing the marine environment. In this paper, we propose a method for secure data transmission through The Maritime Cloud domain. The proposed technique, based on the "secret sharing" scheme, is delivered through specifically-dedicated geocasting software. Thus, only authorized vessels can restore the original information. The proposed method is safe from so-called "sniffing" and "man-in-the-middle" attacks.

  • Security of voice communication content in the military's voice communication network will be essential. There is no proposed study on voice data security of military communication networks, but security of voice data will be essential when communicating. This paper is about to an encryption/decryption technique of digital voice data to provide security in case of voice calls in a military communication network. In addition, by using a symmetric key algorithm using AES, a secret key is required, and it has the function of transmitting this key to the receiving end before setting it as a voice call, solving the difficulty of distributing the secret key. This paper proposes a security technique for digital voice data that applies a synchronous stream encryption method that is relatively easy to restore synchronization even in the event of loss of synchronization among stream encryption techniques.

  • Block truncation coding (BTC) is a recent technique used for compression of monochrome image data. The original algorithm of BTC implement to use the standard mean and the standard deviation. For data hiding, it is needed to modify bit-planes of an images. These modifications yields unacceptable quality of BTC images. Thus, we propose IODBTC (Improved Ordered dithering BTC) improving BTC. In this paper, we improve this problem. Experimental results show that the reconstructed secret messages are the same as the original secret messages, and that the proposed scheme exhibits a good BTC images compared to that of previous schemes.

  • It is very important to design security policy and technical framework on sensitive private data in order to protect user privacy in smart grid environment. This paper introduces secret data sharing schemes proposed for privacy protection in smart grid, and presents technical problems of them. The proposed scheme in this paper, reduces the number of rounds in sharing process and also in restoration process, and can select how many databases would be used, so eventually it shows enhancements in terms of efficiency and security.

  • Cloud computing has been receiving increasing attention recently. Despite this attention, security is the main problem that still needs to be addressed for cloud computing. In general, a cloud computing environment protects data by using distributed servers for data storage. When the amount of data is too high, however, different pieces of a secret key (if used) may be divided among hundreds of distributed servers. Thus, the management of a distributed server may be very difficult simply in terms of its authentication, encryption, and decryption processes, which incur vast overheads. In this paper, we proposed a efficiently data storage and recovery scheme using XOR and RAID in Hadoop environment.

  • Smart grid technology can expand energy efficiency into the home by monitoring consumer energy usage in real time and communicating with household devices that respond to demands to shut off during periods of non-use, allowing individual consumers to control their electricity usage more effectively. But, the information collected on a smart grid will form a library of personal information, the mishandling of which could be highly invasive of consumer privacy. There will be major concerns if consumer-focused principles of transparency and control are not treated as essential design principles from beginning to end. In this paper, using. All-Or-Nothing Transform encryption mode for providing smart grid security, we propose efficient distributed data Management based on XOR operation. The contribution of this paper is to provide a secure algorithm that manages efficiently distributed data in the field of private data in smart grid environment.

  • To ensure data confidentiality and fine-grained access control in business environment, system model using KP-ABE(Key Policy-Attribute Based Encryption) and PRE(Proxy Re-Encryption) has been proposed recently. However, in previous study, data confidentiality has been effected by decryption right concentrated on cloud server. Also, Yu's work does not consider a access privilege management, so existing work become dangerous to collusion attack between malicious user and cloud server. To resolve this problem, we propose secure system model against collusion attack through dividing data file into header which is sent to privilege manager group and body which is sent to cloud server. And we construct the model of access privilege management using AONT based XOR threshold Secret Sharing, In addition, our scheme enable to grant weight for access privilege using XOR Share. In chapter 4, we differentiate existing scheme and proposed scheme.

  • Steganalysis is a technique that aims to detect and recover data hidden by steganography. Steganalytic methods detect hidden data by analyzing visual and statistical distortions caused during data embedding. However, for recovering the hidden data, they need to know which steganographic methods the hidden data has been embedded by. Therefore, we propose a hierarchical convolutional neural network (CNN) structure that identifies a steganographic method applied to an input image through multi-level classification. We trained four base CNNs (each is a binary classifier that determines whether or not a steganographic method has been applied to an input image or which of two different steganographic methods has been applied to an input image) and connected them hierarchically. Experimental results demonstrate that the proposed hierarchical CNN structure can identify four different steganographic methods (LSB, PVD, WOW, and UNIWARD) with an accuracy of 79%.

  • Juliano Rizzo and Thai Duong, the authors of the BEAST attack [11, 12] on SSL, have proposed a new attack named CRIME [13] which is Compression Ratio Info-leak Made Easy. The CRIME exploits how data compression and encryption interact to discover secret information about the underlying encrypted data. Repeating this method allows an attacker to eventually decrypt the data and recover HTTP session cookies. This security weakness targets in SPDY and SSL/TLS compression. The attack becomes effective because the attacker is enable to choose different input data and observe the length of the encrypted data that comes out. Since Transport Layer Security (TLS) ensures integrity of data transmitted between two parties (server and client) and provides strong authentication for both parties, in the last few years, it has a wide range of attacks on SSL/TLS which have exploited various features in the TLS mechanism. In this paper, we will discuss about the CRIME and other versions of SSL/TLS attacks along with countermeasures, implementations. We also present direction for SSL/TLS attacks resistance in practice.
