Analysis of PI air-fuel ratio feedback control system (비례적분 방식의 피드백 공연비 콘트롤 시스템 해석)

  • Air/fuel ratio control system for gasoline engines has been analyzed to determine the control gain of the system. In this analysis the engine is modelled to be a simple time delaying element and the ramp-and-jump method is used to control air/fuel ratio. The result shows that it is necessary to measure the air flow rate accurately to enhance the control performance. And also it is shown that the control gain must be determined in some bounded region to meet the fast dynamic response and high catalyst conversion efficiency together.

  • 전형적인 상태 관측기에서는, 외란이 시스템 입력에 가해지는 경우 시스템의 상태 추정이 불가능하다. 이러한 상태관측 문제에 대한 한가지 대책법으로서 비례적분(PI) 관측기가 제안되어 스텝외란의 소거에 대한 유효성이 밝혀져 로바스트 제어기 설계에 대한 응용으로서 널리 연구가 행해져 왔다. 그러나, 미지입력에 대한 PE 관측기 설계는 여전히 문제로 남아 있다. 이 논문에서는 미지입력 PI 관측기의 설계법을 제안하고, 이에 대한 응용으로서 완전 LTR을 실현할 수 있는 결과를 보인다. 먼저, 입력의 정보없이 시스템의 상태를 추정할 수 있는 미지입력 PI 관측기의 충분조건을 제안하고, PE 관측기의 설계에 요구되는 필요충분조건을 보인다. 이러한 조건은 완전 LTR의 실현을 위한 직접적인 요구조건임을 보인다. 따라서, 완전 LTR을 달성하면서 지정한 관측기의 극을 지니는 PI 관측기 설계가 가능하다.

  • In this paper, a fuzzy controller using thermoelectric for temperature environmental tester is developed. The new structure of fuzzy controller based temperature environmental tester is proposed and implemented to maintain a stable temperature and improve temperature change speed. In order to evaluate the efficiency, an experiment is setup to compare PID controller with our proposed controller. The experimental results, we proved that our proposed fuzzy controller has better performance than PID controller.

  • 반도체 변압기를 구성하는 단상 계통 연계형 인버터는 역률을 높이기 위해 전류를 계통 전압과 동상으로 제어하는 것이 요구된다. 산업에서 통상적으로 이용되는 비례-적분 제어기는 정현파의 참조 값을 추적할 때 항상 정상 상태 오차를 수반한다. 비례-공진 제어기는 기본 주파수에서 충분히 큰 이득을 도입함으로써 정상 상태 오차를 줄일 수 있다. 그러나 계단 응답에서 정상 상태 오차를 가진다는 단점이 있다. 본 논문에서는 단상 계통 연계형 인버터의 효과적인 전류 제어를 위하여 정현파 추적뿐만 아니라 계단 응답에서 정상 상태 오차 제거가 가능한 제어기를 제안한다. 본 논문에서 제안하는 제어기는 시뮬레이션을 통해 유효성을 검증하였다.

  • In this paper, authors performed improvement of control characteristics of an attraction type magnetic levitation system. The attraction type magnetic levitation system has an inherent instability in the system, therefore its controller must have not only proportional-integral gain but also differential gain additionally. In this paper, authors were proposed control algorithm using disturbance observer(DOB) on feedback signal. The computer simulation and experiments were performed for its verification.

  • Solid propulsion systems have simple structures compared to other propulsion systems and are suitable to long-term storage. However the systems generally have limits on control of thrust levels. In this paper we suggest control algorithms for combustion chamber pressure of variable thrust solid propulsion systems using special nozzles such as pintle valve. For this we use a simple pressure change model by considering only mass conservation within the combustion chamber, design a classical algorithm and also a nonlinear controller using feedback linearization technique. Derived thrust equation and designe a thrust control model. We design the proportion-integral controller for linearizing about operating point. We also demonstrate the performance of controller model through numerical simulations.

  • This paper designed a robust control of an induction motor using a disturbance cancellation observer of a feedforward control. The speed response of conventional PI controller characteristic is affected by variations of load torque disturbance. In the proposed system, the speed control characteristic used a feedforward control which does not undergo the influence of the load torque disturbance. High speed calculation and processing for vector control is carried out by TMS320C31 digital signal processor. Validity of the proposed control method is verified through simulation and experimental result.

  • In recent years, a PID controller has been used as a major control method in real control processes. This controller requires a determination of PID control gains. But it is difficult to select the best gains theoretically. Thus there have been many approaches to determine them empirically Most of them are based on experience and knowledge. In this paper, we proposed a tuning method of the PID Parameters by using neural network. To show effectiveness of the proposed method, the simulation of DC motor and one link manipulator position control is carried out.

  • In this study, dynamic analysis of a proportional solenoid valve is performed, and an LQG/LTR controller with an integrator is designed to control the proportional solenoid valve. The dynamic characteristic of a valve is identified using experimental data by employing the frequency-domain modeling technique. The purpose of LQG/LTR control with an integrator is to enhance the system response and to improve the tracking accuracy for a complex input signal. Experimental tests are performed to verify the performance of the controller, and the results prove the high performance of the controller.
