Non-gray radiation with convection in the entrance region of a smooth tube is numerically investigated. The fluid is a mixture of carbon dioxide, water vapor, and nitrogen to simulate combustion products of propane. The flow is assumed to be laminar and hydrodynamically and thermally developing. The P-1 approximation is used to simplify the radiative transfer equation and the exponential wide band model is adapted to model the spectral absorption coefficients of non-gray gas mixture. The bulk mean temperature and Nusselt number variation along the tube axis are shown for several inlet and wall temperature pairs to show the effect of temperature on the heat transfer characteristics. Nusselt numbers for simultaneously developing flow are compared to those for thermally developing flow. In addition, the effect of the mole fraction of the non-gray gases on convective and radiative Nusselt numbers is investigated.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the Asynchronous development of young gifted children by parents' perception. Total 3 groups of 145 subjects from age 30 months to 6 years 10 months old young gifted children's parents participated. The major findings were as follows: (1) The mean developmental characteristics was at a high average level. The developmental subscales tended to be high. The level of verbal understanding/expression tended to be high. It reared as followed; intellectual capacity, emotional maturity, visual-motor coordination, morality, self-behavior control, emotion control, physical development, social development, peer relationship, leadership ability. (2) There were significant differences between intellectual capacity, verbal understanding /expression and physical, social development, self-behavior control, emotion control. There were significant differences between physical development, self-behavior control and emotion control as children got lower. There were significant differences between verbal understanding/expression and visual-motor coordination as children got older. There were significant differences between social development, peer relationship and self-behavior control, emotion control as children got older. Also, there were significant differences between leadership ability and self-behavior control, emotion control as children got older. There were significant differences between morality and self-behavior control as children got older. These findings suggested that young gifted children were in the special needs because of the developmental differences.

수문학적 빈도해석은 일반적으로 단변량 형태에 해석이 주를 이루고 있으나, 최근 다변량 해석에 대한 이해와 더불어, 해석 기술 발달에 따라 빈도해석에서도 다변량 해석적 접근이 이루어지고 있다. 기존 다변량 해석 방법으로는 Copula방법 적용이 활발하게 이루어지고 있으며, 특히 가뭄해석에 있어 지속시간과 심도를 동시에 평가하는 2변량 가뭄빈도해석에 대한 연구가 다수 이루어지고 있다. 그러나 기존 해석 방법은 정상성 해석 모형으로서 기상변동성과 같은 시변동성을 고려하는데 한계가 있다. 이러한 점에서 본 연구에서는 Bayesian 기반 Copula 함수의 매개변수를 추정함과 동시에 매개변수의 불확실성을 평가할 수 있는 2변량 비정상성 빈도해석 모형을 개발하였다. 본 연구에서는 최근 우리나라와 미국에서 발생한 2013-15년 가뭄빈도에 대한 평가와 동시에 이에 따른 불확실성을 정량적으로 평가하는 연구를 진행하였다.

최근 동기발전기에 각종 brushless여자방식이 고안되고 있으나 공통된 개발 목표란 신뢰도와 경제성에 있다. 이것은 구성재료의 발달과 반도체의 개발이 크게 작용하였으며 종래의 직류여자기에 비하여 전기적인 섭동부의 완전 제거와 동시에 보다 소형경량화된 동기발전기의 개혁이 필요하다고 본다. 실제 동기발전기에서 전기자와 계자사이에 energy전달은 불가피한 기본원리로서 전기적인 방식과 자기적인 방법으로 구분할 수 있다. 전자는 도체의 섭동 즉 commutator, seipring brush의 마모와 기계적 손실이 있어 신뢰도가 낮은 반면 적은 여자전력으로 가능하나 자기적인 방식은 공극의 reluctance로 인하여 여자전력이 증가한다. 이러한 문제점을 해결할 수단으로서 commutatorless, static excitation, exciterless, harmonics excitation 방식 등이 고안되고 있으나 섭동부의 완전제거란 불가능하여 본고에서는 동기발전기를 중심으로 Brushless여자방식의 종류와 원리에 대하여 이론적으로 해설하고자 한다.

소 난자 체외성숙에 있어 소 태아혈청 (fetal bovine serum: FBS)첨가시 높은 성숙율을 보이며 핵 이식 후 배 발달율에 있어서도 높다. 하지만 소 태아혈청은 hormone, growth factor, vitamine 그리고 다수의 어떤 잘 알려지지 않은 인자를 포함한 복잡한 배지로 알려져 있으며, 수정란 이식 후 태아의 발육중 및 태어난 직후에 발생되는 송아지에서 나타나는 몇몇 비정상적인 현상들의 원인인 것으로 보고되고 있다. 본 실험은 체외 배양시 소 태아혈청과 이의 대체물질로서 BSA 또는 PVA가 첨가된 배양조건에서의 복제 수정란의 배 발달율을 비교함과 동시에 배반포의 세포수 그리고 세포자연사 (Apoptosis)를 각각의 조건에서 비교함으로써 배발달에 미치는 효과를 알아보기 위하여 실시하였다. 핵이식은 소 체세포를 이용하였으며, 핵 이식 후 CR1aa 기본 배양액으로 FBS, BSA, 그리고 PVA를 첨가하여 5% $CO_2$, 5% $O_2$, 39$^{\circ}C$ 조건하에서 7~8일간 배양하였다.

통신사업은 일반 제조업에 비해 기간산업인 동시에 네트워크 산업으로서의 특성을 갖고 발달해왔다. 또한 통신산업은 현지의 시설을 기반으로 서비스가 전개되는 특성을 가지고 갖는다. 따라서, 전통적으로 국가별 독점사업자에 의해 발전해 왔으며, 사업허가 및 영업활동과 관련하여 규제당국의 역할 및 영향이 절대적이었다. 이러한 특성 및 과거의 방식에 비추어 최근의 통신사업 글로벌화 움직임은 기존의 사업체제를 크게 뒤흔드는 것이라 할 수 있다. 따라서, 최근 들어 매우 복잡한 양상으로 전개되고 있는 이 부문의 글로벌화 움직임을 올바로 파악하는 것은 통신사업자의 향후 전략수립을 위해서 필수적일 뿐만 아니라 통신부문의 특성이나 중요성에 비추어 기업활동의 글로벌화 및 글로벌전략 연구에 있어서도 의미 있는 일이라 생각된다. 이에 본 논문은 통신사업 글로벌화의 전개방향 및 해외사업자의 전략에 관한 종합적인 고찰과 분석을 통신사업 글로벌화의 특성을 파악·제시하며, 나아가 글로벌화와 관련하여 통신사업의 향후 발전방향에 대한 전망을 제시하고 있다.

디지털 방송의 발달과 인터넷의 사용증가로 인해 멀티미디어 데이터가 기하급수적으로 증가하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 디지털 데이터의 쟁점 중 하나인 불법복제로부터 저작권을 보호하기 위한 비디오 워터마킹 방법을 제안한다. 하드디스크를 내장한 디지털 방송 수신기에 복사 방지를 위한 복사제어 정보를 장면단위로 영상의 복잡도와 움직임 벡터의 크기를 고려하여 워터마크의 형태로 삽입한다. 즉, 복잡한 장면에 대해서는 강도를 강하게 삽입하고 단순한 장면에 대해서는 강도를 약하게 삽입함으로써 워터마크의 비가시성과 강인성을 동시에 만족할 수 있다.

최근 디스플레이산업이 발달하면서 투명전도성 물질에 대한 산업의 요구도가 높아지고 있다. ITO투명전도성 박막은 낮은 비저항과 우수한 식각특성을 가지고 있어 평면표시소자, 광소자, 터치패널 그리고 가스 센서 등 다양한 분야에 응용되고 있으며 디스플레이 소자가 소형화 되어감에 따라 박막의 다기능화가 요구되고 있다. 본 실험에서는 전기적 특성과 친, 발수특성을 동시에 가지는 다기능성 ITO 박막을 연구하였다. RIE방식으로 식각을 통하여 Poly Si-wafer 표면에 미세구조를 만든 기판과 Slide Glass기판에 RF-magnetron sputtering 방법을 이용해 ITO박막을 증착하여 비교분석 하였다. ITO박막 증착시 $100{\sim}400^{\circ}C$ 열처리와 산소를 사용하지 않고 Ar 가스만을 사용하여 실험한 후 열처리온도에 따른 전기적 특성 및 접촉각에 대하여 조사하였다. 3 uL의 Di-water를 사용하여 접촉각을 측정한 결과 $400^{\circ}C$ 열처리가 된 Poly si-wafer 위에 증착된 ITO 박막에서 초-친수 특성을 나타냈으며, 그 위에 PTFE을 증착하였을 경우 12 uL의 Di-water를 사용하여 약 $150^{\circ}$ 이상의 초-발수 특성을 나타내었다. 전기적 특성은 $5.8{\times}10^{-4}$의 비 저항을 나타내었다. 이러한 전기적 특성과 친 발수 특성을 동시에 가지는 ITO 박막은 Anti-Fogging, self-Cleaning, Solar cell 및 디스플레이소자 등 다양한 산업에 이용 가능할 것으로 생각된다.

In this study, we constructed various kinds of binary vectors with the pPZP backbone for co-overexpression, tissue- or development-specific expression and stress-inducible expression, and validated them for ectopic expression of target genes. Using a modified CaMV 35S promoter, a binary vector was generated for co-overexpression of two different genes and was confirmed to be efficient for overexpressing two different target genes at the same time and place. Binary vectors containing At2S3, KNAT1 or LFY promoters were constructed for tissue-specific or development-specific gene expression, and the binary vectors were suited for embryo/young seedling stage-, shoot apical meristem- or leaf primordia-specific expressions. Furthermore, the binary vectors containing RD29A or AtNCED3 promoters were validated as suitable vectors for gene expression induced by abiotic stresses such as high salt, ABA, MV and low temperature. Taken together, the binary vectors constructed in this study would be very useful for analyzing the biological functions of target genes and molecular mechanisms through ectopic expression.

인터넷의 발달로 데스크탑 컴퓨터만이 아니라 냉장고, 달리는 차안, PDA, 핸드폰 등 생활 영역 곳곳에서 인터넷을 할 수 있다. 이런 다양한 기기에서 누릴 수 있는 서비스의 질은 분명 다르다. 여러 종류의 다양한 서비스를 보장하기 위해서 서비스 제공자는 같은 상품이라도 화질별로 이미지를 가지고 있어야 한다. 전자상거래용 이미지는 같은 상품에 대한 이미지라도 상황에 따라 보이는 크기가 다르다. 카달로그 목록에 있는 이미지는 작은 것을 사용하고 상품을 제시할 때는 확대된 그림을 사용해야 한다. 현재의 서버시스템은 이미지를 크기에 따라 개별적으로 저장한다 따라서 상품을 교체할 때마다 여러 개의 이미지를 동시에 바꿔야 하기 때문에 이러만 시스템은 비효율적이다. 본 논문에서는 이런 비효율성을 줄이기 위해 수준에 맞게 이미지를 자동으로 처리하여 같은 이미지를 여러 버전으로 보여주는 웹 이미지 서버를 제안한다. 제안된 웹 서버는 사용자를 분류하고 그 분류에 따라 대용량, 고화질 이미지에서 저용량, 저화질로 이미지를 자동으로 처리하여 효과적이고 더 빠른 서비스를 제공할 수 있다. 따라서 하나의 웹 이미지로도 다양한 수준의 이미지를 가질 수 있기 때문에 서비스 종류 별로 웹 페이지를 만들지 않아도 되고, 저장공간도 효율적으로 사용할 수 있다.
