플랩이 부착된 타에 미치는 물 제트 분사효과에 관한 실험적인 연구 (Experimental Study on the Effects of Water Jetting on a Flapped Rudder)

  • 선박의 고속화에 따라서 선체를 부양시키거나 자세를 제어하기 위하여 높은 양력을 발생시키는 장치의 필요성이 증대하게 되었다. 뿐만 아니라 해양오염방지를 위하여 IMO 등의 국제기구에서는 대형 신조선에 대하여 충분한 조종성능을 확보할 것을 권장하고 있어서 높은 양력을 발생시키는 타의 필요성이 증대하게 되었다. 높은 양력을 얻는 문제는 항공분야에서 오래 전부터 핵심적인 문제로 다루어져 왔으며 그중 대표적인 것이 Coanda장치이다. 방형비척계수가 크고 길이-폭비가 작은 저속비대선에서는 통상적인 타를 부착한 경우에 높은 양력을 얻기 어려우므로 플랩이 부탁된 타를 선정하고 이에 Coanda장치를 도입하였을 때 성능이 향상되는 것을 선형시험수조에서 실험적으로 확인하고자 하였다.

  • In recent years, many environmentally disastrous oil spill accidents from damaged vessels become worse especially when the early treatment is not prompt enough. To properly handle this type of accidents and prevent further disasters, international organizations establish and impose various rules and regulations. In assessing the damages and providing salvage operations, the propulsive performance of damaged vessels is of great importance, as well as for containing oil spill while the vessels are being towed or self-propelled. Until now, many naval hydrodynamics researches have focused on the propulsive performance in normal operating conditions and only a few studies for damaged vessels are found in literature. In this paper experimental method is used to study the Propulsive performance of a very large crude-oil carrier (VLCC) in .heeled and/or trimmed conditions.

수 분해형 오존발생장치의 전극선 비대현상과 자기회복 현상 (Build-up Phenomenon and Self-Cleaning Effect upon Wire Electrode Surface of an Electrolytic Ozone Generator in Tap Water)

  • The negative wire of an electrolytic ozone generator, proposed by authors, has been contaminated by attaching the impurity particulate in tap water, which is called BUILD-UP phenomenon. The higher applied voltage and the larger wire diameter have shown the higher build-up rate, which makes the current reducing largely and concurrently the ozone production smaller. It is found that the positive electrode of the ozone generator has a strong SELF-CLEANING effect by detaching the impurity particulate from its surface, which, however, is used us a novel means of solving the build-up problem. As a result, the build-up problem can be solved effectively by applying an alternate square wave pulse voltage to the electrodes so as to get the self-cleaning ability on the both electrodes during each of the half pulse duration time.

Shih-tzu견에서 발생한 전립선 비대증 진단 및 치료 1례 (Diagnosis and Treatment of Benign Prostate Hyperplasia in a Shih-tzu dog)

  • A 3-year-old, male Shih-tzu dog with clinical signs of dysuria and hematuria was brought to the Veterinary Teaching Hospital. Chonnam National University. The patient was suspected urolithiasis by history taking and clinical signs but urinary and urethra calculus was not found in the radiographic examination. Enlarged prostatic gland (29.0$\times$28.0 mm) and severe finding of cystitis was observed from the ultrasonographic examination. The dog was finally diagnosed as the secondary urethral obstruction by benign prostatic hyperplasia. Castration was performed to treatment of acute hyperplasia of prostatic gland and prostatic cysts. After 26 days of operation, the prostate was defined small, hypoechoic, symmetric and decreased size (18.5$\times$18.0mm) by ultrasonography and dysuria cured completely.

  • K14 환자는 유방암 수술, 방사선 치료, 피부이식 수술, 무릎 관절통의 기왕력이 있는 고령의 여성 호흡 곤란증 환자로서 문진과 진찰, 혈압, 비만도 측정, 임상병리, 흉부 X-선, 심전도와 심초음파, 폐기능 검사 등 체계적인 심폐기 질환의 진단 결과 비난증과 고혈압, 좌심실 비대, 만성 폐질환의 소견이 있어 심폐기능 모두에서 문제성이 발견되었다. 검사 결과들의 정밀한 판독법 및 장기-치료 관찰 결과를 임상문헌과 함께 고찰하였다.

  • The aim of this study was to implement the system that could evaluate the function of urinary tract with noninvasive and comfort methods. There for in this study hardware device and computer software have been developed that enables the analysis of the urine flow rate and vesical pressure signal measured during voiding. These signals were recorded simultaneously and transmitted to the PC. For the measurement system evaluation, the model system for the lower urinary system of men was designed. From the evaluation of the model system, vesical pressure was correlated with the occlusion degree. In a pilot study on 5 male subjects, means of standard deviation was 1.06, average error rate was 2.09 and coefficient variation was 2.09.

말티즈 견에서 발생한 원발성 폐동맥 고혈압증 (Primary Pulmonary Hypertension in a Maltese Dog)

  • 중성화된 1년령 말티즈 개(2.4kg)가 간헐적인 기침, 호흡곤란, 운동 불내성을 주요 증상으로 내원하였다. 신체검사 시 제 2음 모순 분열, 확장기 역류성 잡음이 관찰되었으며, 심장초음파에서 주폐동맥의 확장, 심실 중격 비대를 동반한 우심실 편심성 비대, 심각한 삼첨판 역류증과 폐동맥 역류증(5.4m/sec, 3.4m/sec)이 관찰되었다. 이러한 진단 검사 결과를 바탕으로, 본 증례를 선천성 심장 내 단락, 폐쇄성 폐질환, 그리고 우심계의 압력 과부하 또는 폐혈관계과관류와 관련된 전신질환과 감별하여 원발성 폐동맥 고혈압증으로 잠정진단 하였다. 환자는 furosemide와 aspirin을 투여하여, 산소요법을 실시하였다. 본 증례는 드물게 발생하는 개의 원발성 폐동맥 고혈압이다.

CGMMV 감염시기가 수박과 오이의 생육 및 품질에 미치는 영향 (Influence of CGMMV Infection Times on Growth and Quality of Watermelon and Cucumber)

  • CGMMV의 감염시기가 수박과 오이의 생육 및 품질에 미치는 영향을 조사하였다. 수박은 생육달계별로 영양생장기 (정식기, 경엽신장기 )와 생식생장기 (착과기, 과실비대기)로 구분하여 CGMMV를 접종하였고, 오이는 정식기와 첫 개화기에 각각 접종하여 피해해석을 실시하였다. 수박의 경우, 영양생장기에 감염되면 만장, 절간장, 엽면적, 과중이 크게 감소하였으나 생식생장기부터는 대조구와 완만한 차이를 보였다. 반면에 당도는 착과기 이전에 접종하면 무처리에 비해 낮았으나 과실비대기에 접종하면 큰 차이 가 없었다. 피수박 발생은 감염시기가 빠를수록 증가하는 경향이었다. 오이의 경우 초장은 접종시기별로 큰 차이는 없었으나 만장은 접종시기가 빠를수록 감소하였고 절간장과 엽수, 엾폭, 엽장도 같은 경향이었다.

선형변수 및 모형시험결과 데이터베이스를 활용한 저속비대선의 잉여저항계수 추정 (Prediction of Residual Resistance Coefficient of Low-speed Full Ships using Hull Form Variables and Model Test Results)

  • In the early stage of ship design, the rapid prediction of resistance of hull forms is required. Although there are more accurate prediction methods such as model test and CFD analysis, statistical methods are still widely used because of their cost-effectiveness and quickness in producing the results. This study suggests the prediction formula for the residual resistance coefficient (Cr) of the low-speed full ships. The formula was derived from the statistical analysis of model test results in KRISO database. In order to improve prediction accuracy, the local variables of hull forms are defined and used for the regression process. The regression formula for these variables using only principal dimensions of hull forms are also provided.

CSR적용 극비대선의 저항성능 개선에 관한 연구 (Study on the Resistance Improvement for an Extremely Full Ship Under CSR)

  • The appearance of CSR changes the concept of the hull form design as well as structural design, since the application of CSR inevitably brings the lightweight increase of a ship. Keeping the original design constraints such as principal particulars, deadweight, and speed performance, designers have to increase the volume of the hull form. As a result, the entrance angle at bow end should become larger, which results in blunter waterline shape. For a slow and full ship having high $C_B$ more than 0.85, a new concept of bow shape has been required to alleviate the increase of wave-making resistance, since it is very difficult to improve waterline and frameline shape for such a full ship. In this paper a new bow shape of Capesize Bulk Carrier was developed to improve its wave-making characteristics without incompliance with the design constraints. For loading manual calculation, NAPA software was used. FLUENT6.3.26 and WAVIS1.4 were used to evaluate resistance performance of the subject hull forms. The newly designed hull form was tested at SSPA model basin for the final confirmation of resistance and propulsion performance of the ship. It was found that the new bow shape of a Capesize Bulk Carrier improved the resistance characteristics greatly compared to a conventional bulbous bow. The other benefits of new bow shape on the manufacturability were also investigated.
