국민생활수준(國民生活水準)의 국제비교분석(國際比較分析)

  • 본고(本稿)는 국민생활수준(國民生活水準)에 영향을 주는 주요 거시(巨視) 및 미시지표(微視指標)의 국제비교를 통하여 우리나라가 추구해 온 개발전략(開發戰略)을 재조명(再照明)하고 우리의 현재좌표(現在座標)를 검토코자 집필되었다. 자료(資料)의 제한(制限), 국제비교(國際比較)에서 흔히 제기되는 평가(評價)의 문제 등에도 불구하고 국제비교분석(國際比較分析)은 유용한 수단(手段)이었으며 다음과 같은 정책적(政策的) 함의(含意)를 얻을 수 있었다. 지금까지 한국(韓國)이 추구한 개발정책(開發政策)의 역점(力點)은 대체적으로 경제성장(經濟成長)에 두어져 왔었다고 분석되고 있다. 이는 높은 경제성장률(經濟成長率)이나 1인당(人當) 소득(所得)의 지속적인 증가를 통하여 소비수준(消費水準)의 제고와 소비구조(消費構造)의 개선 등 국민생활수준(國民生活水準)의 향상으로 연결되고 있다. 더불어 소득분배(消費分配)를 위시하여 보건(保健), 영양지표(營養指標) 등 사회지표(社會指標) 측면에서도 개선되는 추이를 보이고 있는 것으로 평가된다. 이와 같은 개발정책(開發政策)의 성공적(成功的) 결실(結實)은 국민복지증진(國民福祉增進)에 크게 이바지한 것임에 틀림없으나 사회복지향상(社會福祉向上)을 위한 적극적인 노력은 미흡하였다. 지속적인 고도성장(高度成長)의 결과 국민생활향상(國民生活向上)을 위한 기본요건(基本要件)인 1인당(人當) 소득(所得)이 크게 증가되어 빈곤인구(貧困人口)가 꾸준히 줄어들고 있으나 생활(生活)을 둘러싸고 있는 경제(經濟) 사회적(社會的) 환경은 상대적으로 열악(劣惡)해지게 되었다. 앞으로도 산업화(産業化)와 도시화(都市化)가 계속될 전망임에 비추어 국민생활(國民生活)과 직접적으로 관련되는 생활여건(生活與件)의 개선(改善)에 대한 각별한 정책적(政策的) 배려(配慮)가 요청된다고 판단된다. 따라서 경제(經濟)의 안정적인 운영과 함께 국민생활수준(國民生活水準)의 내실(內實) 있는 향상을 기해 나가자면 고도성장(高度成長)이 준 부작용(副作用)을 극소화해 나가야 할 것이다. 삶의 질(質)에 대한 수용할 만한 국민적(國民的) 욕구(慾求)를 과감히 받아들여 사회개발(社會開發)에 돌려지는 공적지출(公的支出)을 꾸준히 늘려나가되 일본(日本)의 경험이 시사하는 것처럼 비용효과적(費用效果的)인 지출이 되도록 제도적 장치가 강구될 필요가 있을 것이다. 국민생활수준(國民生活水準)의 개선은 장기적(長期的)인 시각(視角)에서 비전과 일관성을 지니고 추진되어야 할 성질을 지니고 있기 때문이다.

A Study on the Priority of Sustainability Areas and Indicators of Domestic Smart Ports (국내 스마트 항만의 지속가능성 영역과 지표의 우선순위에 관한 연구)

  • In this study, in order to derive the priority of indicators and sustainability areas of smart ports, which means ports in the digital era, previous studies and ESG, which have recently been indispensably introduced in all industries worldwide, were studied together. A hierarchical structure was established with upper evaluation items and 20 lower evaluation items in four areas (operational, environmental, social, and governance), and a relative evaluation method of weighting items among the AHP techniques was applied. The pairwise comparison questionnaire consisted of a 9-point scale proposed by Satty (1980). A survey was conducted targeting working-level workers who perform sustainability or ESG(Environmental, Social, Governance)-related work at four representative port authorities in Korea (Busan, Incheon, Ulsan, Yeosu Gwangyang). In order to increase the accuracy of the analysis results, AHP analysis was conducted on 17 questionnaires with a consistency ratio of 0.1 or less. As a result of the analysis, it was confirmed that among the four areas representing the sustainability of domestic smart ports, the operation area had the highest priority, followed by the environment area. In addition, looking at the overall priorities for the 20 detailed indicators, indicators such as operational efficiency, operational planning, energy management, and pollution measurement and management system were found to have high priority. On the other hand, it was confirmed that the social and the governance areas had relatively low importance compared to other areas.

  • This study analyzes the relationships between majority shareholders equity ratio or foreign equity ratio and corporate value within the entertainment industry. Furthermore, an analysis is conducted between majority shareholders equity ratio or foreign equity ratio and accounting index with the same industry. Both analyses are conducted after referring the records of the relationships between corporate governance and corporate value in general industries. The result of this study is summarized as follows. First, foreign equity ratio and corporate size are found to be the most important variables in explaining corporate value of entertainment enterprises. Second, corporations with majority shareholders holding higher percentages show a positive difference in CFO.

Effects of Poverty Status on Socio-Emotional Development in Childhood : Focused on Comparing the Effects of Proxy Variables and Poverty-Co-Factors (빈곤지위가 아동의 사회·정서발달에 미치는 영향 :빈곤대리변수와 빈곤동반 위험요소와의 비교를 중심으로)

  • Present study investigated the effects of poverty and poverty-co-factors in childhood. The effect of poverty status was measured by needs-income ratio. It compared its effect on children's socio-emotional development with that of poverty proxy variables such as recipient of public assistance, financial stress, subjective perception about social class, residence in public housing. It also examined the effects of poverty-co-factors after poverty status were controlled. Results show that poverty status has a more consistent negative relationship with socio-emotional development than other proxy variables. However, the relationship between them disappeared after poverty-co-factors were controlled. Findings from the present study suggest that targeted efforts for decreasing poverty-co-factor risks should be made along with financial support.

Exploring Twitter Follower-Networks of Startup Companies Employing Social Network Analysis and Cluster Analysis (소셜네트워크 분석과 클러스터 분석 방법을 활용한 스타트업 회사의 트위터 팔로워 네트워크에 대한 탐색적 연구)

  • The importance of business strategy for successful social media engagement has quickly increased as more businesses engage in social media. The importance is even greater for startup companies because startup companies are genuinely new to business, and they need to increase their presence in the market, and quickly access future customers. The objective of this paper lies in exploring key indicators of social media engagements by selected startup companies. The key indicators include two aspects of social media usages by the companies: i) overall social media activities, and ii) properties of network structure of the information flow platform provided by social media service. To better assess and evaluate the key indicators of social media usages by startup companies, the indicators will be compared with those of selected large established companies. Twitter is selected as a social media service for the analysis of this paper, and using Twitter REST API, data regarding the key indicators of overall Twitter activities and the Twitter follower-network of each company in the sample are collected. Then, the data are analyzed using social network analysis and hierarchical clustering analysis to examine the characteristics of the follower-network structures and to compare the characteristics between startup companies and established companies. The results show that most indicators are significantly different across startup companies and established companies. One key interesting finding is that the startup companies have proportionally more influencers in their follower-networks than the established companies have. Another interesting finding is that the follower-networks of startup companies in the sample have higher modularity and higher transitivity, suggesting that the startup companies tend to have a proportionally larger number of communities of users in their follower-networks, and the users in the networks are more tightly connected and cohesive internally. The key business implication for the future social media engagement efforts by startup companies in general is that startup companies may need to focus on getting more attention from influencers and promoting more cohesive communities in their follower-networks to appreciate the potential benefits of social media in the early stage of business of startup companies.

Application of Gold Exploration Using Three-dimensional Resistivity Inversion in Sambo mine (3차원 전기비저항 역산 방법을 이용한 삼보 광산에서 금광 탐사)

  • The Sambo mine is located in Hae-je Myeon, Moo-an Gun, Chollanamdo, which consists of host gneiss and rhyolite possessing quartzite veins with other compositions such as gold, silver, and sublimated sulfur. The ore grade estimated from the core was 0.05~10.9g/t or less in gold and 0.05~389g/t or less in silver, indicating a partial mineralization. The purpose of this paper is to understand the subsurface structures and the distribution of mineralized bodies in the Sambo mine using a combined method of Schlumberger, Wenner, and Dipole-di-pole resistivity surveys on the surface and the resistivity tomography survey in boreholes. The result of three-dimensional resistivity inversion showed that the mineralized body is extended to 240m long in the N10°~20°E direction, with 30m wide and 80 m thick from the surface. The low resistivity zones (<1,000ohm-m) determined from the resistivity image were in good agreement with the mineralized bodies and weak zones identified from the logged cores.

  • 최근 지속가능한 개발을 위한 연구와 수자원 취약성에 대한 논의가 활발히 이루어지는 가운데, 북한의 수자원에 대한 관심 또한 증가하여 다방면으로 연구가 진행되고 있다. 본 연구는 북한 자료의 확보가 가능한 World Bank 자료를 바탕으로 Pressure-State-Response 구조에 따라 선정된 14개의 지표를 이용하여 168개 국가를 대상으로 수자원 취약성 분석을 수행하였다. 의사결정을 위한 가중치 결정은 객관적 가중치 산정방법인 Shannon의 entropy 기법을 이용하였으며, 정량적 평가를 위하여 TOPSIS (Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution) 기법을 적용하여 국가 별 수자원 취약성을 지수화하고 취약성 순위를 도출하였다. 각 지표별 Positive Ideal Solution과 Negative Ideal Solution의 거리를 산정한 후 상대근접도계수를 산정하였으며, 상대근접도계수가 작은 국가일수록 수자원이 취약한 국가가 된다. 연구결과 북한은 168개 국가 중 17위, 우리나라는 67위로 나타났으며, 대체적으로 남 북한의 수자원 취약성이 취약한 가운데 북한이 더 취약한 것으로 나타났다. 우리나라와 연관이 깊은 주요 국가와 비교 시, 북한, 중국, 미국, 일본, 우리나라 순으로 취약성의 정도가 심각했다. 또한, 압력, 상태, 반응의 요소별로 수자원 취약성을 분석한 결과 북한이 반응요소 측면에서 타 국가에 비해 불안정하였으며, 우리나라의 경우 상태요소 측면에서 취약함을 보였다. 따라서 본 연구는 국가 간 우리나라와 북한의 상황을 파악할 수 있게 해주며, 수자원 취약성 극복을 위한 수자원 계획 및 대책을 제시할 수 있는 자료로 활용할 수 있을 것이다.

  • A new index for the buckling strength of non-structured plates is proposed. The external work or the deformation energy caused by the external loads or the boundary displacement controled by a load parameter is calculated along an equilibrium path of the member under consideration. If the second variation of the energy with respect to the parameter loses its positiveness, it defined as the limit of the stability. In contrast to the current method given in codes where the stability limit is evaluated by using only representative internal forces, the evaluation of the stability limit is always consistent even with the change of the distribution of the internal forces on the boundary. If the elasticity is concerned, the result from this proposed approach becomes identical to that from the classical methods.

Evaluation of Oral Health Promotion Program Connected with Hypertension and Diabetes Management Programs: Use of a Logical Model (일부 보건소 고혈압·당뇨관리교실 연계 구강건강증진 프로그램 운영 및 평가: 논리적 모형을 이용하여)

  • This study aimed to design and operate a complementary integrated health management program based on the connection between the hypertension and diabetes management programs and the oral health programs at a public health center. It also proposed to suggest the phased evaluation indicators. In this study, 48 adults registered in the hypertension and diabetes management program were selected from the Gangneung public health center. The clinic-specific programs were led by dental hygienists and operated for visitors twice every two weeks. The programs were designed based on the logical model, and indicators for evaluating the structure, process, and outcome were presented and applied to the input, process, output, and outcome. The evaluation indices consisted of quantitative and qualitative indicators, and the planning and operation, goal achievement, and effect of each program were assessed. The process evaluations were assessed by the appropriateness of the managers and the operating fidelity of the programs. Indicators for evaluating the outcomes were gingival bleeding, oral health knowledge, oral health awareness, and the satisfaction of the participant and the manager. The clinic-specific programs resulted in positive changes in the evaluated outcomes. The integrated health management of visitors to the hypertension and diabetes management program is important as the general and oral health has common risk factors. Furthermore, long-term operation and continuous monitoring of oral health programs are necessary to evaluate the common factors in chronic disease management.

Damage Detection of Shear Building Structures Using Dynamic Response (동적응답신호를 이용한 전단형 건물의 손상추정)

  • Damage location and extent of structure could be detected by the inverse analysis on dynamic response properties such as frequencies and mode shapes. The dynamic response of building structures has many noise and affected by nonstructural members and, above all, the behavior of building structure is more complex than civil structure and this makes the damage detection difficult. In recent researches the damage is detected by the indirect index such as sensitivity or assumed values. However, for the more reasonable damage detection, it needs to use the damage index directly induced from dynamic equation. The purpose of this study is to provide the damage detection method on shear building structures by the damage index directly induced from dynamic equation. The provided damage index could be estimated from measured mode shape of undamaged structure and frequency difference between undamaged and damaged structure. The damage detection method is applied to numerical analysis model such as MATLAB and MIDAS GENw for the verification. The damage index at damaged story represents (-) sign and 15 times than other undamaged sories.
