Comparison of Physicochemical and Sensory Properties of Branded Pork by Feeding Probiotics and Crossbred between Korean Native and Wild Pigs (생균제 급여와 재래돼지와 멧돼지의 교배에 의해 브랜드화 된 돈육의 물리화학적 및 관능적 특성 비교)

  • This study was carried out to investigate the physicochemical and sensory properties of branded pork by feeding probiotics and crossbred between Korean native and wild pigs. Crude protein contents showed in order of Brand A>Brand B>control (P<0.05), while crude fat contents showed Brand A to be lower (P<0.05) than control and Brand B. The pH of Brand B was significantly higher (P<0.05) than control and Brand A. Cooking loss (%) showed Brand A to be lower (P<0.05) than control, but there was not different between Brand A and Brand B. Lightness value showed Brand B to be lower (P<0.05) than control and Brand A. Brand A had the highest (P<0.05) springiness value. For fatty acid profile among branded pork loins, the saturated fatty acid (SFA) content was highest (P<0.05) for Brand A, but lowest (P<0.05) for Brand B. Brand B had the highest (P<0.05) unsaturated fatty acid (USFA) and essential fatty acid (EFA), USFA : SFA ratio, EFA : SFA ratio, and EFA : USFA ratio. Essential amino acid contents of Brand B was higher (P<0.05) than control and Brand A.

A Study on the Structural Relationship of Experience Characteristics, Value and Expectations, Purchase Intention in Cosmetic Brand Store -Focusing on the Moderating Effects of Gender- (화장품 브랜드 매장 체험특성, 가치와 기대, 구매의도의 구조적 관계에 관한 연구 -성별의 조절효과를 중심으로-)

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the influence of experience characteristics of cosmetics brand stores on purchase intention through brand value and product in-store expectations. In addition, by identifying the effects of gender regulation, the study aimed to supplement theoretical studies and to provide practical implications on the experience of cosmetics brand stores. First, we presented educational experiences, aesthetic experiences, and playful experiences as experience characteristics in stores. And we assumed the effect of these experience characteristics on the brand value and the expectation of the product in the store, and the effect of the brand value and the expectation on the purchase intention of the product in the store. 279 data were collected from consumers who had visited cosmetics brand stores, and we analyzed them using structural equation analysis. As a result, both experience characteristics have positive effects on brand value and in-store product expectations, and brand value has positive effects on expectations. In addition, brand value and in-store product expectations have a positive effect on in-store product purchase intention. In moderating effects of gender, the effect of playful experience on brand value is greater in male group, and the impact of educational and aesthetic experience on product expectations is greater in female group. These results contribute to the theoretical expansion of experience research on cosmetic brand stores, and provide strategic implications for experience marketing of cosmetic stores.

카페 비즈니스의 브랜드 충성도 연구

  • 본 연구에서는 카페 비즈니스에서 중요한 서비스 품질의 여러 요인 중 카페의 사회문화성이 새로운 커피 비즈니스의 주요 특성으로 대두됨을 인식하여 이를 통해 카페의 이미지와 브랜드 충성도의 향상방안을 모색해보고자 함에 본 연구의 목적이다. 커피 전문점 중 전문브랜드와, 지역브랜드, 개인카페를 중심으로 설문을 통해 이를 분석한 결과, 카페 서비스품질 중 사회문화성은 전국 프랜차이즈는 브랜드 충성도를 도리어 낮추는 결과를 주지만 개인카페는 브랜드 충성도를 높이는 요인으로 작용하는 차별된 효과가 나타나 개인카페나 지역프랜차이즈의 카페 비즈니스에서는 전문성이 기반이 되어야만 브랜드 충성도를 향상시킬 수 있으며, 개인카페는 지역 프랜차이즈보다는 더욱 덜 복잡한 서비스 전략이 필요한 것으로 나타났다. 또한 개인카페의 특수한 사항들이 사회문화성을 통한 브랜드 이미지를 향상시키고 이를 통해 브랜드 충성도를 높이는 것을 알 수 있다. 결과적으로 전국 프랜차이즈는 서비스 품질 중 접근성과 확신성을 통해 브랜드 이미지와 브랜드 충성도가 높아지는 전략이 우선적으로 대두되며, 그 외의 서비스 품질들은 충분히 현재의 상태로도 매우 만족스러운 결과인 것으로 나타났다. 반면, 지역 프랜차이즈의 경우는 서비스 품질 중 확신성이 강화되고, 서비스 전문성과 접근성을 통해서 더욱 브랜드 이미지와 브랜드 충성도를 향상시킬 수 있는 전략이 마련되어야 전국 프랜차이즈화 될 수 있는 고객의 인지력을 향상할 수 있는 전략이 모색된다. 반면, 지역기반의 개인카페들은 전국단위의 프랜차이즈보다 전국단위의 프랜차이즈로 나아가기 위해서는 지역기반의 지역프랜차이즈 카페들보다도 전문성 강화가 중요하며, 사회문화성을 강조하는 서비스 전략을 통해 고객들로 하여금 브랜드 충성도를 높이도록 전략화 방안이 필요하다.

  • With the advent of local autonomy, local governments are seeking balanced regional development through the decentralization of the central government's authority. In line with this trend, each province has begun to recognize the significance of local identity as a means to promote regional development, and this recognition contributed to developing various brands using local resources. However, a number of these brands are similar to one another because they were developed without thoroughly analyzing and strategically differentiating local identities from one another. Thus, this study aims to propose local characteristics and consumer consciousness that need to be considered in local speciality brand development through practical marine product brand development cases representing Yeosu's local characteristics. This study intends to contribute to setting an effective direction of marine product branding by applying local color to brand development strategies and brand identity elements and by suggesting post-management and promotion plans of local brand positioning.

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the antecedents of city brand personality and those effects on city brand personality and attitude toward city. This study attempts to confirm dimensions of city characteristics and city brand personality, and analyze the structural relationships among the city characteristics, city brand personality and attitude toward city. The result showed that various characteristics of city (culture and historic characteristics, life stability, facility convenience, economic factors, the image of city appearance, nature friendly characteristics) influence city brand personalities. In addition, city brand personalities (vivid personality and stable personality) are positively related to attitude toward city and mediated between the characteristics of city and attitude toward city.

Analyzing the Characteristics of Hospital Names based on the Types of Brand Name Spectrum (브랜드 네임 스펙트럼(Brand name spectrum) 측면에서 바라본 병원명의 특성: 수도권 병원을 중심으로)

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze the types of Brand name spectrum for hospitals, and to analyze the differences of types depending on the characteristics of hospitals. Study data was collected from the yearbook of Korean Hospital Association in 2008. The hospital's name was divided into meaningful words and then the spectrum type of hospital name was decided based on the meaning of words. Hospital variables were used to investigate the difference of the types of brand name spectrum among hospitals. The study results showed that arbitrary name was the most frequently used in hospitals, then followed by the suggestive name, descriptive name, and then coined name. In arbitrary name, district name and person's name were most frequently used as the hospital name. Although most hospitals had one type of naming spectrum, some hospitals had types more than two. When hospital managers are developing hospital name, they will need to consider not only how it can provide the unique images to customers, but also how they protect their brand in legal aspects.

브랜드 돼지고기의 물리화학적 및 관능적 품질특성

  • 경남 진주 소재 대형유통매장에서 유통경과일자가 비슷하고 인지도가 상대적으로 높은 5개 회사 제품(Ha, E, H, J, P)의 냉장돈육 목심을 구매하여 과도한 지방과 결체조직을 제거한 후 육질 분석을 실시하였다. 일반성분은 지방 함량이 높은 처리구들이 수분함량이 낮게 나타났으며 Ha와 H 브랜드 돈육은 정상육의 pH를 나타내었으며, P 브랜드 돈육은 PSE육에 다소 가까웠으며, E와 J 브랜드 돈육은 PSE 육으로 판단되었다. pH가 낮은 브랜드육들이 가열감량이 높게, 보수력은 낮게 나타났다. E 브랜드육의 $L^{\ast}$값이 가장 높게 나타났으며 Ha와 H 브랜드육의 $L^{\ast}$값은 다른 브랜드육에 비해 낮게 나타났다. $a^{\ast}$값은 Ha, H, J 브랜드육이 높게 나타났으며, $b^{\ast}$값은 Ha와 P 브랜드육이 낮게 나타났다. Ha와 J 브랜드육이 관능검사에서 전반적으로 높게 나타났으며, 지방산 조성은 J 브랜드 돈육이 포화 지방산의 함량이 높게, 다가 불포화지방산 함량은 낮게 나타났다. 또한 E 브랜드 돈육의 linoleic acid(Cl8:2)와 arachidonic acid(C20:4) 함량은 다른 브랜드 돈육보다 높게 나타났다.

  • The purpose of the research is to identify the effects of brand evidence, brand personality and negative factors on extended brand trust and customer purchase intention in IoT (Internet of Things) service. Negative factors include scarcity marketing and privacy concern. To achieve this objective, we analyzed the 269 respondents who had used Xiaomi products at least more than once. The results of this study are as follows: First, it was found that core service, self-image congruence of brand evidence and brand personality has a positive influence on extended brand trust. But, perceived price of brand evidence is not related to extended brand trust. Secondly, Scarcity marketing influenced extended brand trust. But, Privacy concern is not related to extended brand trust. Consumers did not realize privacy because of technological innovation of IoT. Thus, the research has a different significance from antecedent research.

  • To prove the effectiveness of global brand strategy, this paper tries to analyze the effects of brand globalness on brand attitude and behaviors. In addition, the moderating effect of consumers' cultural intelligence is assessed in the influence of brand globalness on brand attitude and behaviors. Based on the analysis of two hundred seven consumers, it is founded that the brand globalness has a strong influence on brand credibility and benevolence which exerts brand royalty as expected. In this process, however, the moderating effect of consumers' cultural intelligence is shown to be statistically ineffective. This implies that the global brand strategy is useful regardless of individual consumers' cultural intelligence.
