The Influence of Brand Reputation and Chronic Regulatory Focus on the Non-similar Brand Extension (브랜드명성과 성향조절초점이 비유사 브랜드확장에 미치는 영향)

  • In this study, we intended to show the interaction effect between brand reputation and chronic regulatory focus, and intended to show mederatory effect as an interaction as well as the main effect of two variable. To this end, Pulmuone(a high level of brand reputation) and Green(a low level of brand reputation) as parent brand and cosmetics as extention product were selected. The results of the study are as follows: The first, on brand extension evaluation, a high level of brand reputation was more positive than a low level of brand reputation. The second, brand extension evaluation was mere positive in the promotion focus group than in the prevention focus group. The third, In case of high level of brand reputation, there was no significant differences between the prevention focus group and the promotion focus group in brand extension evaluation. On the other hand, low level of brand reputation, there was significant differences between two variables. Therefore, we found the interaction effect between promotion focus group and prevention focus group.

  • As recently increased penetration of smart phones, branded applications(the brand app) via mobile are growing rapidly. Since these brand apps are being used as means of corporate marketing and sales, many consumers have been using them. However, there are few studies about brand apps. And it is also necessary to study about continuous use of brand apps because they are easy and free to download and remove. In this study, we analyzed how a variety of brand experience have impact on the brand apps' continuous use. As a result of this study, sensory, affective, behavioral, and intellectual experience as a brand experience affected brand commitment positively, and then the brand commitment had a positive impact on the degree of brand loyalty and continuous use intention. Eventually the more brand loyalty, the more continuous use intention of brand apps. That is, consumers' experience about a variety of brand apps makes customers' brand commitment and loyalty increase and keep customers using the brand apps consistently. Therefore, if companies let the customers have various experience through brand apps, they will have good marketing performance.

  • The purpose of this study is to examine the effects of brand identity of coffee specialty stores on customer 's brand trust of customers, brand attachment, revisit intention, and word of mouth intention. A survey was conducted and 342 copies were used in the analysis of the structural equation model. As a result of the study, the brand identity was proved to have a positive effect on brand trust. In addition, brand trust has a positive effect on brand attachment, indicating that it affects affection on the brand depending on the degree of trust on the brand. Brand attachment had a positive influence on revisit intention and positive influence on word of mouth intention. Therefore, the proper construction of brand identity is linked to the acquisition of fixed customers by linking with the intention of repurchase, and it affects the profit generation of brand, so the brand manager can confirm that proper establishment of brand identity and marketing strategy should be set up.

  • The recent development of industrial marketing explains the near absence of research on brand equity in business-to-business markets. With recent change, industrial companies have shifted from a production focus to a customer focus. Industrial brand concept is rapidly developing. The basic purpose of this study is to investigate industrial brand equity affecting the result of business relationship between industrial buyers and suppliers. This research presented a comprehensive constructive model consisting of components of industrial brand equity, and then propose the research model base on prior researches and studies about relationships among components of industrial brand equity. Data were gathered from respondents who work in industrial buying center. For this study, Data were analyzed by SPSS 11.0 and AMOS 5.0. The results of this research analysis were as fallow. Industrial brand loyalty was positively related with perceived value, perceived quality, brand awareness, relationship satisfaction, switching cost, relationship commitment. Also, Industrial corporate performance and purchasing value was positively related with brand loyalty and relationship commitment.

제품속성을 활용한 중소/벤처기업의 브랜드 정통성 구축방안에 대한 실증적 연구

  • 본 연구의 목적은 마케팅 관점에서 제품속성과 브랜드 정통성에 대한 통합적 연구모형을 이론적으로 제시하고, 이를 실증적으로 살펴보는 것이다. 이와 같은 연구목적을 위하여 제품속성과 브랜드 정통성을 정의하고, 브랜드 정통성의 구성 요인을 학문적 관점에서 이론적으로 제시하였다. 구체적으로 제품속성은 내재적 속성으로는 품질과 디자인, 외재적 속성으로는 브랜드와 가격으로 구분하고, 브랜드 정통성은 기존 연구들을 분석하여 총 13개의 하위 차원으로 정리하였다. 제품속성이 브랜드의 정통성과 브랜드 이미지에 미치는 영향관계를 실증적으로 분석하고자, 총 400개 표본을 대상으로 분석을 실시하였다. 조사대상 제품은 S전자의 최신 휴대폰인 S20으로 하였다. 본 연구는 선행연구에서 논의되지 않았던 연구모형을 기반으로 하였으며, 마케팅관점에서 소비자가 제품 속성을 통하여 지각하는 브랜드 정통성과 브랜드 이미지의 관계를 실증적으로 살펴봄으로써 다양한 이론적, 실무적 기반을 제공할 것이다. 특히, 브랜드의 정통성을 구축하기 위해서는 오랜 기간 동안 많은 투자가 수반되므로 중소/벤처기업은 대기업에 비해 상대적으로 불리하다. 이런 이유로 중소/벤처기업은 우선적으로 제품의 품질향상에 많은 노력을 기울이는 경향이 있지만 만일 제품 속성이 브랜드 정통성에 의미 있는 영향을 미치지 못한다면 중소/벤처기업은 관련된 전략을 수정하여야 할 것이다. 따라서 본 연구는 중소/벤처기업의 시각에서 제품의 속성을 활용하여 브랜드 정통성을 구축하기 위한 방안을 제시하고자 한다. 본 연구의 결과는 특히 스타트업의 마케팅전략 수립에 도움이 될 수 있을 것이다.

The Effects of Brand Experience and Personality on Consumer-Brand Relationships, Attachment, and Loyalty - A Comparison of Domestic and Global Brand Coffee Shops - (브랜드 체험 및 개성이 소비자-브랜드 관계, 브랜드 애착, 브랜드 충성도에 미치는 영향 - 국내외 브랜드 커피전문점 비교 -)

  • This study examined the effect of brand experience and personality on customer-brand relationships, brand attachment, and brand loyalty in domestic and global coffee shop brands. By comparing inter-structural relationships among factors between domestic brands and global brands, this study also provided strategic implications and directions for the effective marketing strategy of coffee shop brands. Data were collected through a self-administered survey of the consumers aged 20's to early 40's who used domestic and global brand coffee shops in Seoul and Kyunggi between August 1, 2014 and August 30, 2014. 500 surveys were distributed and 495 surveys were returned. Among them, data from 493 surveys were used for the analysis. The results from this study are as follows. First, it was found that the Think of experiences in coffee shop had a greater effect on consumer-brand relationship than the Sense-Feel. Second, the Sophistication of brand personality in coffee shop had a greater effect on consumer-brand relationship than the Excitement. Third, only Think of experience in coffee shop significantly impacted brand attachment, but Sense-Feel did not impact brand attachment. Fourth, only Excitement of brand personality in coffee shop significantly impacted brand attachment, but Sophistication did notact on brand attachment. Fifth, the consumer-brand relationship had a greater effect on brand loyalty than did brand attachment. Finally, the differences from a comparison analysis of domestic brands and global brands of coffee shop are as follows. In domestic brands, only the Sophistication of brand personality in coffee shop significantly impacted consumer-brand relationship. In global brands, the brand personality in coffee shop did not impact on consumer-brand relationship.

  • 브랜드는 장기적으로 꾸준히 육성하고 쌓아나가는 자산과 같은 개념이다. 한국능률협회컨설팅(KMAC)이 주관하는 한국산업의 브랜드파워(K-BPI) 조사결과, 소비재 일반부분 중 종합문구부문에서 모닝글로리는 11년 연속 1위로 소비재일반 카테고리에서 가장 로열티가 높은 브랜드 최상위 권을 유지하고 있다. 브랜드 가치 평가의 구성요소를 추출한 후, 모닝글로리 브랜드의 주요 특징을 정리하여 현 브랜드 환경을 살펴봄으로써 본 연구는 브랜드 정책의 방향을 수립하는 데에 지침이 될 것이다.

  • 21세기 정보화 사회로 진입하면서 인터넷 사용이 급속히 증가함에 따라 패션 기업들도 마케팅 차원에서 브랜드 쉽 사이트를 구축하고 브랜드 이미지와 상품에 대한 정보를 제공하고 있다. 그러므로 브랜드 이미지가 중요한 패션 기업의 경우 현재 웹 사이트에 구축된 브랜드 컨셉트가 평상시의 컨셉트와 동일하게 인지되고 있는가에 대해 연구하는 것은 일관된 브랜드 이미지를 관리하는데 중요하다고 하겠다. 이에 본 연구에서는 국내외 12개 패션 브랜드를 대상으로 평상시와 웹 사이트에서의 브랜드 컨셉트에 대한 인지도를 조사하여 평상시와 웹 사이트에서 동일한 브랜드 컨셉트를 유지할 수 있는 방법을 제안하고자 하였다.

  • (사)소비자시민모임(회장 김재옥)은 품질이 우수한 축산물의 기준을 마련하여 소비자가 우수한 축산물브랜드를 선택할 수 있도록 지난 2004년부터 5년동안 "우수 축산물브랜드 인증 사업"을 실시하고 있따. '2009년 우수 축산물 인증브랜드'로는 모두 47개 브랜드가 선정됐으며, 이 가운데 42개는 2008년 우수 축산물브랜드로 선정된 후 2009년까지 인증이 연장되는 브랜드이고, 5개는 새롭게 2009년 우수 축산물브랜드로 선정된 브랜드이다.

  • As industrial development standardizes the quality of products, people are increasingly attracted by a certain brand with intangible value. Consumers, surrounded by a variety of brand in a market, want to have relationships with specific brands reflected by their personality. Especially in fashion, brand personality is more important since products are highly involved in terms of personal emotion. The purpose of the study is to identify the dimension of overall fashion brand personality, to specify the 'Dimension of Fashion Brand Personality' according to fashion product categories (i.e., formal wear, casual wear, sports wear), and to investigate the effect of each dimension of fashion brand personality on brand preference and purchase intention. The results were as follows: Firstly, based on Aaker(1997)'s 'Big five factors' and selection fashion brand personality factors from our pretest, the fashion brand personality factors were verified as 'Fashionable/ Innovative', 'Sincere', 'Universal! Stable', 'Professional'. Secondly, according to fashion product categories, brand personality was defined as below. Brand personality for formal wear included 'Innovative/ Active', 'Stable', 'Professional', and 'Universal'. Brand personality for casual wear included 'Fashionable/ Innovative', 'Active', 'Sincere', and 'Stable'. Brand personality for sports wear included 'Innovative', 'Social', 'and 'Sincere'. Finally, overall fashion brand personality factors (' Sincere', 'Universal! Stable', 'Professional') influenced on brand preference and purchase intention. In formal wear, 'Professional' influenced on brand preference and purchase intention. In casual wear, 'Active' influenced on brand preference, but 'Fashionable' and 'Sincere' influenced on purchase intention. In sports wear, 'Sincere' influenced on brand preference and 'Innovative' influenced on purchase intention.
