Improvement of Signal Transmission Method of Ship's Engine Performance Analyzer(SEPA) using PLM (전력선 모뎀을 이용한 선박엔진 성능분석기의 신호전달방식의 개선)

  • This paper describes that send some signal from encoder attached to crankshaft of marine-engine to measuring instrument using power line modem(PLM) and display cylinder pressure, rpm and etc. on LCD. Conventional method that sends signal along the long signal line has some inconvenience from too long signal line length caused by huge volume of ship's engine. Power line modem can have short signal line from outlets to measuring instrument. Because it use exist power line for send signals, so it have low installation cost and could have good merits in job sites. Through this experiment, pressure in cylinder, engine rpm and etc. signals through PLM are well recognized at measuring instrument.

  • To achieve the requirement for high fuel economy and low emissions, the research for GDI engines is recently very brisk in the whole world. This study was performed to measure distribution of average particle size in non-evaporating spray. The 2-D fluorescence/scattering images of fuel spray were captured simultaneously by visualization system composed of a laser sheet, a doubling prism, optical filters, and an ICCD camera. Using the ratio of the two light intensities, particle size distribution was obtained. The SMD measured by fluorescence/scattering technique was compared with it obtained by PDA. The experimental results show that the spray structure of GDI injector and temporal SMD distribution.

Statistical Analysis for NDI Results of Aircraft Engine Component for Determining Crack Initiation Period (균열발생시기 결정을 위한 항공기 엔진 구성품의 비파괴검사 결과에 대한 통계적 분석)

  • In this study statistical analysis was performed for NDI(Non-Destructive Inspection) results of F100 engine front seal support assembly. NDI results can be statistically considered as Quantal Response Data. It is found that the suitable probability distribution to the failure data is normal distribution through MLE(Maximum Likelihood Estimation) of the Quantal Response Data. Moreover, Cumulative Distribution Function, failure rate function and B-Life are calculated on the supposed distribution.

  • 나이모닉 일체형으로 사용되고 있는 선박용 2 행정 저속엔진의 배기밸브 스핀들을 고온, 고압, 배기가스 및 반복 충격 하중에 노출된 스핀들의 Head부분은 기존의 나이모닉 소재를 적용, 기존 재질의 우수한 성질을 유지하고 설계적으로 나이모닉 소재의 적용이 불필요한 Stem부는 오스텐나이트 계열의 SNCrW 소재를 사용하여 관성마찰 용접 방식으로 접합하여 제품을 제작하고, 접합부의 미세조직 관찰, 성분분석, 인장, 경도, 피로시험 등의 기계적, 금속적 특성평가를 통해 마찰용접제품에 대한 신뢰성을 확인하고 양산 생산을 위한 기술적 토대를 마련하였다.

Characteristics of Formaldehyde Emission from Small Gasoline Engine and Its Reduction Technology (소형 가솔린엔진의 포름알데히드 배출특성 및 저감법에 관한 연구)

  • Experiments were carried out to investigate the characteristics of formaldehyde emission from the small gasoline engine and its reduction technologies. Catalytic converters used are Pt/Rh, Pd/Rh, Pd/Pt, $62cell/cm^2$ monolith type. The measurement of formaldehyde was conducted by using the method of DNPH-GC. From the experimental results, formaldehyde emission increased in a lean mixture due to incomplete combustion of the hydrocarbons. The order of catalytic activity of formaldehyde oxidation was Pt/Rh > Pd/Rh > Pd/Pt. As the distance from the exhaust manifold to the inlet of the catalyst became far, in spite of lower catalyst temperature, formaldehyde concentration decreased because of the adsorption of formaldehyde.

  • 냉방기기별 하절기 가동률 및 동시사용률 실태를 조사하여 건물의 용도 및 면적 별냉방기기의 시간별 부하률 과 동시사용률, 연간 사용일수 가동시간을 조사하여 냉방기기별 에너지 소비현황 하절기 에너지수급 영향분석을 하고자 하였다. 그리고 국내에 설치된 냉방기기를 대상으로 현장조사 진단을 통해 냉방기기 사용 실태 및 냉방성능을 측정하고, 현장 조사를 통한 만족도와 불만사항을 조사하여 냉방기기 보급 및 운전의 효율을 상승시키고 모든 냉방기기 국산화를 위한 기초자료와 이를 위한 정책적 지원방안 및 향후 냉방기기 기술개발 방향을 제시하고자 한다. 또한 냉방기기별로 문제점을 도출하여 향후 정책제도 개선에 반영할 수 있도록 하였다.

  • In this study, the domestic and abroad policies and regulations on the gas cooling systems have been analyzed. First, the current policies were investigated in Korea and other countries to stimulate the distribution of the gas cooling systems. The advantage and disadvantage for each policy were evaluated. Finally, several policies were proposed for the effective distribution of the gas cooling systems.

  • 특허 분석에서 관심 있는 기술명, 서비스명, 제품명을 인식하도록 기계학습 기법을 사용해 개체명 인식기의 성능을 평가해 보았다. 개체인식을 위한 엔진은 스탠포드 대학의 NER과 CRF++을 사용하였다. 그 결과 F1값인 0.5612로 나타났다. 이것은 인명, 지역명, 조직명 개체를 인식하는 다른 연구에서 나타난 0.7857보다 0.2245 떨어지는 결과이다. 특허 개체명 인식에 대한 자질값 선정과 사전처리에 대한 더 많은 연구가 필요하다.

  • Failure cause of the fractured engine parts was analyzed by microstructural observation. These parts were failed far earlier than the expected service life. By the stereoscope and SEM examinations of the fractured surface, the fracture modes have been identified as wear and fatigue failure. From the observation of microstructure and microhardness measurements of the failed gears, the probable cause for failures are internal oxidation during using and retained austenite and carbide networks due to heat-treatment, respectively. These defected structures at near surface contributed to the wear and fatigue failure.

  • Hybrid Electric Vehicle(HEV) and Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle(PHEV) will replace Conventional Gasolene Engine Vehicle at a rapid rate to eliminate emission gases and improve fuel economy. This review describes Fuzzy Logic Control strategy and Optimization for Parallel Hybrid Electric Vehicle. Recent progress on Electric Motor and Li-ion Battery for HEV and PHEV are given. Analysis on competitiveness of Korean HEV and PHEV technology based on the number of papers published and patents registered are also performed.
